Day 5 - caf
since my scribbles can be totally illegible, here’s a transcript
Obi-Wan: Here you go, Cody
Cody: Oh, thanks, sir
Cody: this... it’s caf?
Obi-Wan: Ah, yes! I’ve noticed my teas are not really to your tastes, so I stocked up some caf for you instead! I hope it’s okay
Cody: ... oh
Cody: ...thank you.

Oh to stand in the nightlight with the breeze in your hair as fireworks light up the sky above.

what infuriates me about every scene in Max’s office is that I know for a FACT that there is a grandfather clock in the room from the beginning of season three. It’s there the entire time, I know because you can hear it quietly ticking in the background and very occasionally you can juuuust see the corners. But it’s never actually shown until episode four of season four, when Silver walks in
He even acknowledges! it’s presence!
and it is this seemingly deliberate editing choice to have it in the room for over a dozen episodes, but not allow it in-frame until this exact moment (when Billy plants the doubts about Flint in Silver’s head that will eventually lead him to end the story) that makes me want to set something on fire. Clock’s ticking!!

This year I bring January Jubilation and @masseffectholidaycheer to @pioneer-over-c! They said this scene was their favourite interaction between Shepard and Kaidan (sure, it's the same for all LIs but it just works so well for renegade leaning Shenko) and SAME so I knew I had to draw it.
I hope you like it and that I did Greye justice!

The Scions' opinions of important political meetings and Alliance war councils, a thread:
Estinien: if Aymeric won't be there, okeydokey, whatever 👍 but if Aymeric WILL be there, absolutely not!! being subjected to questions like "my friend! what've you been up to?" and "how are you?" is more than he feels like dealing with tbh. also if he has to suffer Aymeric bullying him about his lack of money sense one more time he's dragoon jumping out the window
Krile: politics aren't my forte but if you need me to, I'll go :)
Alisaie: UUUUGGGHHHH [bangs head on table]
Alphinaud: this is his natural habitat. it is also where he's most powerful, so beware !!
Thancred: putting that PhD in espionage to good use and helping his friends/allies in so doing is good for his health (and his self-esteem)
Y'shtola: sometimes it's a tasty problem to chew on and sometimes it's just annoying. if Garlemald is involved, it's probably the latter
Urianger: he's been invited to exactly two meetings out of like 30 and only attended one (and showed up unannounced to another). he'd rather stay home and do nerd shit or go scouting with Thancred. we stan an introverted nerd king ✌️
G'raha Tia: just happy to be brought along for the ride ❤️ no situation is unbearable so long as he's by his inspiration's side 😊
O'ravi: [doodling chibis of her friends on the back of a report and scribbling hearts around them] wydm this is "work", i'm just hanging out with my boyfriend and my besties

I've tried to run BG2 again (I need to finish my modded playthrough) and my laptop is in such a bad state it prectically lags BG2. BG2, which could be run on a determined microwave, on a laptop that has 8GB of RAM! It is heavily used and it has a lot of apps, but I've uninstalled everything I didn't use and cleaned the registry awhile ago. I suspected the antivirus, but the system manager shows it actually doesn't consume a lot of resources. It's not the disk space, since it's got plenty. It turns out it uses 100% of its disk all the time, and the main culprits seems to be.... *drum roll* system and Windows telemetry service! I now have to spend the evening elbows deep in frankly confusing system settings to find a way to turn the telemetry service off, and it may or may not improve the situation.
Once I finish this playthough, I'm definitely switching the laptop to Unix.

cri.trolestats ending their fantastic reign on twitter has irrevocably transformed my peripheral understanding of what the hell is going on in campaign 3 right now, because i have not been around cr tumblr since back in the beginning of campaign 2 and was WILDLY unprepared for the renewed ferocity of the memeing-while-streaming side of the community. i have not been able to comprehend a single liveblog i've seen so far. it has been one of the most enjoyable not-viewing experiences of my life.
