Do you ever think about how common eclipses must be on Coruscant, which not only has FOUR moons, but has zero unpopulated surface area?

Eclipses are awesome, but they're also Events to us because Earth's so covered in water and inhabited areas are comparatively limited, so it's special when we can actually see them. But that's probably not the case for a lot of (most) planets.

What was Calas Typhon like? Not, y'know, Typhus, but the guy before that.

"He was a true friend, and my first friend. Beyond that, Calas was as he's always been in many regards. Confident, unyielding and... as far as Barbaran standards go, 'dashing' I suppose. But, as it is now so it has always been, ambition is his poison. It was ambition I admired and needed when we first met... but it is also ambition that has had it's obvious consequences."

ooc: we actually know very little about calas typhon all things considered, as despite how important he is to the story of the death guard hes never really had a story written about him if that makes sense. everyone just uses him as an antagonistic figure in someone elses story, or we exclusively get looks at him from the outside as opposed to any internal dialogue.

closest i can remember of anything approaching 'so what does calas typhon/typhus think/feel?' would be his pov chapters in mortarion: the pale king where he [during the great crusade before his fall] reads as somewhat cocky but genuine in his adherence to mortarions beliefs even when presented with temptation.

at the end of the day though i'd say that despite typhus going all in on the nurgle stuff, him and mortarion are very similar individuals at the end of the day [even if typhus has a tendency to be playful or catty, by comparison to other barbaran characters anyways] in that they let resentments and grudges get the best of them. mortarion resents the emperor and lets it drive him to rebellion, typhus resents his father and delves into forbidden sorcerery. they're the real 'dont tell me what to do!' kids of the traitors [compared to say perturabo whos more of a long suffering sigh of an individual].

its also importantly why i think their modern relation is the way it is. typhus went to such effort to get mortarion to see his perspective on things, to show his father what he considers a better path and that actually he typhus was right all along. and instead mortarion immerses himself in depression and inaction, content to sequester himself away licking his wounds. and thats obviously gonna infuriate typhus.

I've been a bit overwhelmed over a lot of stuff that is happening to me during this month. Mostly stuff relating to school (It will be my last year.) As well as my multi fandom brain wanting to due fanart for so many fandoms as well as doing my own oc's, but I'm so nervous about posting that stuff. I'm working on my confidence, though. Dealing with my depression and anxiety during this time ain't fun or really easy, but other than all that, I'm doing well enough just tired and in need of a break at times.

I hope you enjoyed this quick piece 'cause it was fun to draw all those characters, as well as myself.

Thinking about the horror aspect of the DSMP is so awesome because like— yeah we have the prison, and it’s fucking terrifying. But also there’s the fucking Egg. Like the Masquerade episode of Tales from the SMP really showed how terrifying it was all the way back then. And then the whole Sam Bucket stuff too!!! It’s like— ugh I love it so much. I can go on for hours how I love when the DSMP can get terrifying.

Okay, so I was right, the heart ring really does help you a lot on plane levels. I finally got my A-rank for Wally Warbles yesterday, and I can breeze through most of Djimmi’s fight a lot more easily now.
