this just popped up on my dash so I'm going to use it for some brief impromptu tips for how to spot AI-generated images
The pillows get weirdly blurry in places. And the seat has a consistent pattern in one direction
... but try to follow the bumps along horizontally and suddenly the lines are no longer quite straight. That wouldn't happen with that style of seat, and an artist who can paint with this level of realism would know that. And at the very front, some of the bumps kind of blur into each other. You wouldn't paint it that way. And it definitely isn't a photo.
The style of the circular frame changes from top to bottom. You can't follow the lines of those circles from the bottom to the top, they change or fade out or morph.
NO idea what's going on at the very top of the image. It's like there's an opening at the very top there, leading to blackness, but in terms of perspective it's not consistent with the rest of the picture, and... why is there at all? Again, you'd never paint it that way.
The biggest clue is the window. A window like that would normally be symmetrical, as in, the same pattern on both sides. Not the case. And if you look on the far right, it gets... weird. It stops having any sort of sensible pattern at all. And look on the left, there's a point where the metal pops out past the actual frame. That's not a mistake that a human would make, that's what happens when the image is made by something with no understanding of what it's making.
There's a bit of lighting weirdness too, especially in the "ceiling" of the nook, but tbh any real painting can have that, artists aren't perfect either. But once you start looking at the details, you can see the lack of understanding behind this. It's a, image made by something that doesn't actually understand how upholstery or windows or anything else works, it's just copying from other pictures it's seen.

A customer contacted our team with questions, and then finished their email with: "I am daunted by the complexities and unknowns." I haven't been able to stop thinking about it since.

Unstoppable Force (my love of seeing other people's takes/stylization on my OCs) vs Immovable Object (my gripping fear of not doing other people's OCs enough justice when I draw them)

when i was a kid i wanted to be a famous youtuber like dan and phil so that people would gay ship me with my irl best friend and we would be sooo weirded out by it and laugh and make videos joking about it but secretly it would make her realize her repressed gay crush on me and i'd help her through her gay crisis and then we would have a sickeningly sweet sappy romance and read fanfiction about ourselves together... anyways just found out she's married to a guy in the mafia now so i probably don't have a chance
