It feels kinda.... pathetic? The way I can't make friends. Wtf are you supposed to do in your mid twenties to make friends though? Bumble conversations die in a day or 2. You tellin me I'm supposed to go out??? Like to a bar?

one of my goals this year is to be more social and i’ve been told about bumble bff where you can go on there and match with people to hangout, but i was thinking wouldn’t it be cool if there was something like that for the byler tag lol. everyone on the tag joins an app and then you can match with other bylers in your area. that would be so fun lol

matched with someone on bumble bff today which i've kinda fell out of love with after they changed their gender settings again (a rant for another day) but idly swipe on occasionally, and she seemed super cool. she mentioned in her profile that she was into seinfeld which i am too (not so common here, most people have watched friends as seinfeld was never really aired on tv here). so i said "i see you like seinfeld, me too!" and she replied with "who's your favourite character?? how many times have you watched it from start to finish??" gave me real "oh, you like seinfeld? name all the episodes" vibe
i think i won't ever meet anyone remotely decent on this app 😑

Why do I always reinstall Bumble BFF only to be disappointed? A lot of people on there seem to like wine, traveling, brunch, you know, stuff that requires money which I can’t afford. I get they are trying to find the most common ground interests to appeal to a lot of people, but they don’t appeal to me and maybe that is expected being neurodivergent in three different ways I don’t know. I am not looking down on them, I understand what I don’t like might not be typical and it doesn’t make me better than them just different. I do think the phrase “I am not everyone’s cup of tea but someone’s shot of whiskey” fitting for this scenario

Testing: Prioritize testing to identify and fix bugs and glitches. Conduct thorough quality assurance to ensure a smooth user experience. Testing is a crucial step in the app development process and contributes to the app's overall success.

There are so many NPCs walking around out there
Can't tell 'em apart
I don't see how the men could either
Maybe that's the point

Automatically swiping left on anyone with "Christian" in their bio on Bumble BFF may significantly reduce my chances of making IRL friends, but it's still better for my mental health than loneliness
