i hate netflix for cancelling jatp. it's one of the best tv shows in the app, tons of people of all ages enjoyed it too, AND jatp was also all over websites and apps after it was released and up to this point of time too. i also hate netflix for not doing fantoms request on bringing it back; there is literally almost three to five million fantoms who has been tagging and tagging netflix to bring the show back and some to the point where they would sue netflix, and yet netflix hasn't done anything about it for the past TWO FCKING YEARS?! big red flag honestly 🚩🚩🚩

Bloody damn @netflix again. They are the literal dog in the manager from the old Aesop’s fable. They cancelled something like 20 shows last year. On top of everything they’ve cancelled, in let’s say, the five previous years.

AND YET, THEY RETAIN THE RIGHTS TO EVERY SHOW. EVEN THOUGH THEY HAVE NO INTENTION OF MAKING THE SHOW. THEY REFUSE TO MAKE SHOWS PEOPLE LOVE AND GET INVESTED IN, BUT, UTTERLY REFUSE TO LET ANYONE ELSE MAKE THESE BELOVED SHOWS. WHAT SORT OF ARSEHOLES ARE THEY?!

Rewatching jatp for the [redacted] time and thinking about how Rose was the last person to talk to the boys before they died which led me to think about the fact that she must have bedazzled the Sunset Curve shirt afterwards.

She would’ve been there when the show got canceled since they didn’t come back and then found out what happened. But she bedazzled in anyways. Not only did she keep that shirt for 25 years but she personalized it, poured love into it. Rose saw the boys perform at a rehearsal once and talked to them once and still saw something worth not only remembering and preserving in a representation of their music but something worth making her own in order to showcase that brief but vital connection they all had.

juke really are soulmates, like in every way possible, every way that counts

first of all they chose each other, chose to love each other, so jot that down

but also in the way they are literally defying life and death and time by finding each other. in the way they’re defying the universe and choosing to love each other even though they never should have met in that period in their lives (how luke never should have met julie at the age of 17. it should’ve been impossible).

in the way they are a perfect match for each other — they build each other up when they need it; they push each other to do the things they should and need to do, with just the right amount of coaxing, at just the right time. they let each other know when they’ve messed up, and work to better themselves from there.

and we haven’t even mentioned their compatibility when it comes to music — both in performing and creating. like????? HELLO
