So glad to see this after someone on twitter argued with me about how apparently gray wing isn't a bootlicker
The brainrot on Twitter is astonishing. I don't know how you brave souls manage to spend time there. There are 6 entire books of Gray Wing longing for the smell of his brother's armpit, yearning for the feeling of his fur against his in the first book (ACTUALLY HAPPENS), weeping and crying that his Dear Brother might have done a bad thing, and then someone on twixxer will be like "That's normal sibling behavior"
Like.......... lads. I do not think that is normal sibling behavior actually. I've seen an uptick in people saying ''yes it's understandable he doesn't want to think his brother's a baddie," and not always to downplay, either, like they're just trying to acknowledge the other side of the argument.
But like, can we be honest?
Is the DEGREE to which Gray Wing goes to play defense for him ACTUALLY understandable sibling behavior? Because I do not think it is, actually.
I would be more charitable to this character if people were acknowledging that it's NOT normal, and that it can't just be coincidence that every single character that Clear is close to ends up with very similar defensive behaviors. Storm, Thunder, Petal, Gray Wing, Star Flower... almost as if they were all abused by the same incredibly dangerous and toxic person.

#7 on the list of Minis that every D&D group should have is some generic humans. In this case some handy Town guard, an overburdened porter, and one angry farmer who showed up for the riot on the wrong night and is all by himself. All the minis are from the Reaper Bones kickstarter in 2012, and the spear in the guard's hand was so super bendy that I replaced it with a hard plastic spear from my old GW zombie kit that I picked up 20+ years ago. That is a kit that just keeps on giving.

This is the first y'all get to see of one of my older ocs, Adrian Demonrider!! He's a human necromancer, blessed by Grenth :D
His bone minion is for purposes of silly drawing, neither of his actual builds (quick condi dps support scourge and a power toughness tank reaper) use the bone minion. I can yell about how fun he is to play for ages-
Darker version under the cut :D mild tw for blood spatters

Sinking Feeling • [AO3]
A/N: Shout out to @waterloou for providing the prompt and for being the biggest fan of this fic collection, you're the best. <3<3
Prompt: Sinking
CW: Attempted murder by drowning, dubcon kiss (CPR-style moment)
He’d been lucky the first time, they told him.
Lucky they’d tried to drown him in the waters near enough to the shore. Lucky that he’d been fished out and someone saw that he wasn’t a corpse. Lucky all these months he’d evaded capture—
But he wouldn’t be lucky this time.
No, this time, they were out on the ocean—not the bay, but the proper deep blue, and not a soul to be seen that might save him.
This time, he was drowning with his hands behind his back and a bag of stones tied to his feet, and they were all as good as certain there was no coming back from the depths like this—
Not with a soul and breath in the body, at least.
They hadn’t gambled on the myths being real, though.
They hadn’t figured there were sirens, not just stories in the sea.
Hell, even Wylan, who’d suspected, hadn’t thought they would be kind, if they were out there at all. But the one who swam up from the shadows to observe him had a gentleness in his dark eyes that made Wylan feel ashamed—ashamed for ever thinking that these creatures could be monsters anymore than humans could be—
Now, as the creature sinks down with him, Wylan looks up into depthless pupils. His chin is held aloft by a webbed hand—long, clawed fingertips tickling at his throat. He feels another hand slip around his waist before he’s pulled in and a gasp fills his lungs up with water. This should kill him, but it won’t, because the siren’s lips are on his, and he can feel as the water is pulled out, breath shared.
Impossible, save that it’s happening.
Wylan’s body goes limp in the arms of the siren, and he feels like a dream has come to welcome him to death. He is laid out on the sea floor, half-aware his hands have come untied, and hears a song not so unlike that which a whale might compose, except—
There’s words.
He can understand them.
They grow clearer and sharper until he’s fully awake.
And he knows, he knows, he knows this is a language he had not known. This is a body he had not had. This is a love that will yet be.

👏Let's hear it for Mindless!
Send 👏 for one of my muse’s pet peeves
The weird, fat little creature gurgles and chatters, tottering around making the most horrid noises as it stomps its small clawed feet. It gestures uselessly around, still gurgling and screeching, stamping about, until it rolls onto its back with the most dramatic sigh.
Who knew bone minions could even do that?
