If Animal Crossing were to get a remake, I would love for there to be a conversation option early on that would change how the special npc's speak to you.
Every game you start out as being unfamiliar with them, but having the option to have dialogue where you talk with these characters like your talking with old friends you haven't spoken to in a while? Now that would be something special.
Like bringing up how Tom Nook used to run his little shop back in the day. Or refamiliarizing yourself with Sable after so long of not speaking to each other. Or even having a laugh with Blathers over somehow catching an angry hive of wasps/bees.
Tldr: give special dialogue for long-time fans of the series.
“Eeek! A bug...! Ah, I beg your pardon! I just don't like handling these things much!”
Blathers the Owl is a beloved character in the Animal Crossing series, known for his love of all things historical and his fear of bugs. Blathers was raised in the city with his sister Celeste and, after finishing school, attended university to earn multiple degrees, although he did not complete his doctoral studies.Blathers was approached by his professor and offered a position as the director of a museum in the countryside, which he enthusiastically accepted. Despite occasional bouts of homesickness and being unable to complete his doctorate, Blathers expressed no regret in taking the job.In Wild World, Blathers has apparently completed his doctoral studies as he is now able to officially identify fossils. Despite his academic background, Blathers is known to have a phobia of insects, which is somewhat ironic given his job as a museum curator. This fear originated from a traumatic incident in his childhood when a mantis egg case ruptured on his desk, causing thousands of mantises to fly out and terrify him.Much of Blathers' backstory is presented in the form of conversations with the player on certain days in Wild World. These days are easily identified by Blathers releasing occasional sighs when not in conversation and by him being awake during the day rather than sleeping as usual.Blathers is a charming and endearing character, loved by Animal Crossing fans for his dedication to preserving history and his quirky personality traits.
No but like Gus and Vee becoming friends... Vee teaching Gus about the human realm and Gus showing Vee reasons why the demon realm isn't so bad... Them creating the human/demon realm exchange together... Them staying penpals when they stay in their respective realms and always meeting up to talk about the exchange program when they meet up...
Only so many days left! I had a silly one planned but I'm running out of dates and realized I could do this meme comic since I like it a lot and saw it just in time for this month. :3 Flick and C.J. won't make my post for tomorrow so squeezing them (and Blathers) in here seemed like a good fit~! B3 Happy Pride Month!
