"Hey, I'm Sol and this is the Wired Autocomplete interview," Sol said smiling. Sol was given aboard. A medium-sized board where the questions were stuck with a paper and she has to peel it off to open the question. “Let’s see what you all are curious about”

[ UPBEAT MUSIC ]

"Have you ever googled yourself before?" Interviewer.

"No. I try not to."

"Alright, first question," Sol said before carefully peeling off the sticker that was covering the full question that was searched on the web about her.

[ WHAT ]

"What is Sol’s full name? My full name is Solaire Victoria Raeya Ivanov and I know it's a long name. But my parents liked it." Sol answered and smiled.

"What does Sol like in a guy?" Sol chuckled at the question. "Wow, did someone actually search this on the web?" Sol asked as she looked at her staff behind the camera and giggled. "What I like in a guy is honesty and just be good to me."

"What is Sol’s net worth?" Sol smiled at the question. "why do you guys care about this? but to be honest I don't even know what my net worth is."

"What is Sol's zodiac sign?" "Aquarius, I am. Fun fact, I actually share a birthday with Rosé. I was told recently about some of the characteristics of the Aquarius. Think I maybe have like, three of eight."

"What is Sol's phone number?" "That is a question I won't be answering. I don't give my number to anyone. So, it is maybe impossible to get my number. Sorry." Sol said and smiled blandly.

"What is Sol's accent?" Sol laughed at the question. "Honestly I have no idea. I would say British on most occasions. it also depends on where I go. When I got to America. my accent changes to American English and when I'm in Paris, I speak in a Parisian accent. Or these days it feels like I’m getting Aussie accent because of Rose. It is a bit confusing I don't know what my accents are." Sol chuckled.

"What is Sol doing right now?" Sol exhaled and chuckled " Talking to you. that's so funny people would google that. what is Sol doing now, like Google's gonna know"

"What was Sol's first song?" "The very first song I wrote was for my mom on her birthday when I was like six years old, and it was about when I grow up, can I be as pretty as you? when I grow up, can I wear your dress? and still, my parents and my siblings make fun of me sometimes."

Sol throws the medium-sized board on the floor and grabs the one handling to her.

[ DOES ]

"Does Sol have pets?" " Yes, I have 4 pets, three dogs and one cat. I have Shiba Inu named Cain, Samoyed named Chico, white Pomeranian Cece, and a Manx cat named Cleo. I adopted all of them from a rescue shelter. They are my angels."

"Does Sol speak Spanish?" Sol smiled. "Yes, I can speak Spanish because I taught myself and I'm proud of myself for doing that because I can now communicate with my fans who speak Spanish," Sol said and continued smiling as she peeled off the sticker that covers the next question and read it.

"Does Sol play guitar?" "Yes, I do play guitar. In fact, I play a lot of instruments. My grandpa taught me how to play the Violin and Piano. during my trainees days, I learned to play drums, electric guitar, ukulele, recorder, flute, and Saxophone recently. since I have much free time this year because of the pandemic, I spend my time mostly learning new instruments and learning online." Sol answered and nodded.

"Does Sol has tattoos?" "That’s a secret" she giggles, “but I do, I have four tattoos and each one of them has a meaning.”

"Does Sol watch anime?" "Do, and my top three animes are the seven deadly sins, my hero academia, and One Piece."

“Does Sol know how to play games?” “Yes, I love playing games. It’s my hobby.”

[ CAN ]

"Can Sol sing?" Sol laughed at the question. " I bloody hope so, otherwise I have no idea what I'm doing here."

"Can Sol rap?" "Yes, I can rap. I’m the lead rapper in the group."

"Can Sol drive?" "I can drive. I actually passed my driving test the first time. I do really love the freedom of just getting in your car and going wherever you want."

"Can Sol come to my birthday party?" Sol laughed."I wish I could but I think you would have to speak to my agency and my manager about that."

"Can I date Sol?" Sol laughed and grinned. the staff also laughed "that's an interesting question. Maybe but I think you would have to speak to my agency and my manager about that too." Sol said and shrugged with a chuckle.

[ HOW ]

“Okay last board, How old is Sol?" Sol read off as she peeled the tap. "I'm 26 years old."

"How to get Sol's face?" Sol laughed. "Seriously? I don't know. surgery, I think?" Sol said and shrugged with a chuckle.

"How did Sol become famous?" Sol chuckled. " by releasing good music."

"How many languages can Sol speak?" Sol smiled. "I can speak 7 languages. Korean, English, Japanese, French, Mandarin, Spanish, and Russian I'm hoping to learn Thai and German by next year." Sol answered.

“How does Sol stays in shape? By working out.” She stated. “I don’t like dieting and I was extremely bad at it. When I was training to be a singer, I had this extremely diet and I just failed. I couldn’t resist my love for ice cream.”

“How does Sol keep her hair healthy?” She smiled, “I use a specially made shampoo and conditioner provided by my wonderful stylist aka Lina.”

“Well, that’s it?.” She asked, throwing the cardboard away when the staff members nodded. “It’s been fun! They weren’t as scary as I thought they would be.”

“I hope you enjoyed the video, thank you. Mwah.” She says, staring directly into the lens and blowing a kiss at it.

Taennie or Taekook? It's neither.

So, some of my thoughts on this whole taennie thing... You can't say "nothing is confirmed/real until Taehyung says so" and "Taekook is real" in the same breath. You're contradicting yourself. To mention my previous post on shipping, I still firmly stand by what I said: I think it's fine to have your suspicions/suspect that something is real, but you are to take the opinions and words of BTS/BlackPink at face value and accept them for what they are. You can think that Taehyung is dating Jennie, but it's still their private life (and yes, enunciating their, because many people tend to forget that Jennie is very much a part of this equation), so their words (or the lack thereof) should be respected and considered the truth.

Fans should never speak in absolutes about things they cannot necessarily confirm to be true.

(also using 0.0023 seconds of eye-contact as proof (but they're just so full of love, OP!) is extremely silly and needs to stop. are you a trained pupil specialist? get your ass a career in optometry!)

Furthermore, if we are to apply this situation outside of a heteronormative lens, one could argue that handholding between any gender can be seen as platonic or romantic. A woman holding a man's hand does not necessarily mean they're involved, the same way that a man holding another man's hand doesn't mean they're dating. It's almost as if many different types of relationships exist -- and even if certain actions fall within the expectations of a society/culture, nothing is entirely concrete. K-pop fans are far too comfortable with blatantly saying "In Korea--" or "Koreans think--" without actually ever stepping foot within Korea or acclimating themselves to the many vibrant colors of the Korean culture and people.

You can make guesstimates, hypotheses, or speculations based on the evidence at hand, but without running a proper trial(s) or getting information from a primary source, your evidence cannot be declared as fact. It's basic science. Good luck calling Taehyung up and asking if he's dating worldwide pop sensation Kim Jennie or Jeon Jungkook.

Even if there appears to be a 99% chance of something being true, we should still take into consideration that 1% of it is still left unaccounted for.

So is Taekook real? No. Is Taennie real? No. If Taehyung tells us that he's dating the moon, we should congratulate him for falling into its orbit. End of story.

Also, it's embarrassing to send out a #WeLoveYouTaehyung tweet with #TaekookReal also attached to it. Real ironic -- read the room.

Replace "[insert ship] is Real" with "I have reasons to believe that they might be a couple, but I can't confirm it."

เมื่อไม่นานมานี้ ลิซ่าเองก็เพิ่งกลับไปกรุงเทพเป็นครั้งแรกในรอบ 3 ปีเพื่อฉลองวันเกิดของตัวเอง “คุณแม่และคุณพ่อของฉันอายุเยอะขึ้นทุกวันค่ะ” เธอกล่าวด้วยความคิดถึงเป็นภาษาอังกฤษและเกาหลี “ไม่ว่าเมื่อไรที่มีเวลา ฉันก็อยากกลับไปเมืองไทย ไม่อยากเสียเวลาค่ะ อยากเจอพวกเขาให้บ่อยที่สุดเท่าที่จะทำได้”

YG Entertainment ซึ่งก่อตั้งขึ้นในปี 1996 ได้สร้างศิลปิน K-pop ชื่อดังระดับโลกอย่าง BIGBANG และ 2NE1 ซึ่งเป็นรุ่นพี่ของ BLACKPINK ทั้งคู่ เมมเบอร์ทั้ง 4 คนของ BLACKPINK ผ่านการออดิชั่นและเข้ามาเป็นเด็กฝึกใน YG ในเวลาต่าง ๆ กัน เจนนี่เป็นคนที่อยู่มานานที่สุด ใช้เวลาเป็นเด็กฝึกอยู่ 6 ปีก่อนพวกเธอจะได้เดบิวต์ด้วยซิงเกิ้ล “Whistle” และ “Boombayah” ในปี 2016 จีซูฝึกมา 5 ปี เท่ากันกับลิซ่าที่จากกรุงเทพมาเป็นเด็กฝึกในปี 2011 โรเซ่เข้ามาในปี 2012 จากการคว้าอันดับ 1 จากผู้เข้าแข่งขัน 700 คนในการออดิชั่นของ YG ที่ซิดนีย์ เธอจากครอบครัวและชีวิตในเมลเบิร์นมาตอนอายุ 15 และเดินเข้าสู่สำนักงานใหญ่ของ YG พร้อมสะพายกีตาร์ตัวเดิมที่เธอยังเล่นอยู่ในทุกวันนี้ “กีตาร์ตัวนี้อายุมากกว่า 10 ปีแล้วค่ะ” โรเซ่เสริม “อายุเยอะกว่าหมาของฉัน แฮงค์ ซะอีก”

วันนั้นคือวันที่สาว ๆ ทั้ง 4 ได้เจอกัน ร้องเพลงอย่างสนุกสนานอยู่ในห้องครัวของหอ YG ในชุดนอนจนถึงเช้า มีเด็กฝึกคนอื่น ๆ อีกหลายคนที่เข้ามาเป็นส่วนหนึ่งของโปรเจกต์นานหลายปีในการฟอร์มวง BLACKPINK แต่อาจจะด้วยโชคชะตาฟ้าลิขิต เมมเบอร์ 4 คนสุดท้ายของวงถูกจัดให้อยู่ในหอห้องเดียวกันตั้งแต่วันแรก ๆ โรเซ่เพิ่งจะเช็ดน้ำตาบอกลาพ่อแม่มาก่อนเจอเข้ากับเพื่อนร่วมวง “ฉันว่าเจนนี่พูดว่า ‘แชยอง เล่นอะไรให้พวกเราฟังหน่อย!’ ” โรเซ่นึกย้อน เธอถูกเพื่อน ๆ เรียกชื่อด้วยทั้งแชยองและโรซี่ “พวกเรานั่งล้อมวงรอบโต๊ะกินข้าวพร้อมกีตาร์ของฉัน พี่จีซูประสานเสียงเก่งมากเลยค่ะ”

“พวกเราเริ่มจากนั่งบนเก้าอี้แล้วค่อย ๆ ขึ้นไปอยู่บนโต๊ะ” ลิซ่าพูดกลั้วหัวเราะในการสัมภาษณ์ของทั้งวง “แล้วทุกคนก็ประมาณว่า ‘วู้ววววว’ มันสนุกมากเลย”

“เก้าอี้ของฉันหันเข้าหาหน้าต่างห้องครัวค่ะ จำได้ว่าพระอาทิตย์ลอยขึ้นมา” จีซูบอก

“พระเจ้า พวกเราโชคดีมากที่เพื่อนบ้านไม่มาเคาะห้องบ่น” โรเซ่หัวเราะคิกคัก

“ถ้าวันนั้นเธอนอนเร็ว เธออาจจะเศร้ากว่าเดิมก็ได้นะ” เจนนี่บอกโรเซ่อย่างห่วงใย

ในอพาร์ตเมนต์ขนาด 3 ห้องนอนที่มีกำแพงสีขาวซึ่งจางลงจนเป็นสีงา สาว ๆ ทั้ง 4 แชร์ห้องนอน 2 ห้องด้วยกัน ส่วนผู้จัดการของพวกเธอนอนในอีกห้องที่เหลือ พวกเธอใช้วิธีเป่ายิงฉุบเพื่อตัดสินว่าใครจะใช้ห้องน้ำเดี่ยวในตอนเช้าเป็นคนแรก

“การไปซื้อของกินเป็นอะไรที่สนุกมากค่ะ” โรเซ่เล่าถึงความทรงจำ “พวกเราจะทำอาหารกินด้วยกันหลังฝึกมาทั้งวัน ไม่มีอะไรเป็นพิเศษ ทุกอย่างเป็นอาหารแช่แข็งหมด แต่ฉันยังคงคิดถึงรสชาติของของพวกนั้น”

พวกเธอต้องสนิทกันเข้าไว้ เพราะชีวิตของการเป็นเด็กฝึกต้องเสียสละอะไรหลายอย่าง ระบบการฝึกของ K-pop ซึ่งได้แรงบันดาลใจจาก Motown ในสหรัฐอเมริกาและ Johnny’s Entertainment ในญี่ปุ่นมักเผชิญกับคำวิจารณ์อยู่บ่อยครั้ง มันไม่มีการการันตีความสำเร็จซึ่งแปลว่าเด็กฝึกทั้งหลายอาจติดอยู่ในความไม่แน่นอนเป็นปี ๆ หลักสูตรการเรียนแตกต่างกันไปตามแต่ละบริษัท สำหรับ YG สมาชิก BLACKPINK ในอนาคตต่อมาต้องผ่านระบบการสอบรายเดือนที่เข้มงวด เด็กฝึกต้องแสดงทั้งแบบเดี่ยวและเป็นทีมให้กรรมการดู คิดทุกอย่างเองตั้งแต่ท่าเต้นไปจนถึงการแต่งตัว

“เมื่อไรมันจะจบลงสักทีนะ? อารมณ์แบบ เมื่อไรกัน? พวกเราต้องสอบทุกเดือนเลยหรอ?” ลิซ่าผู้ไม่ได้พูดภาษาเกาหลีมาตั้งแต่แรก (T/N: หมายถึงไม่ได้เป็นคนที่พูดภาษาเกาหลีเป็นภาษาแม่) แต่ตอนนี้กลับพูดได้คล่อง “ฉันจะโทรหาคุณแม่ [ที่ไทย] บอกแม่ว่าอยากออกแล้ว แม่ก็จะบอกให้ฉันอดทนไว้อีกปี อดทนไว้ค่ะ”

“ถ้าฉันรู้สึกว่ากำลังลำบาก ฉันก็จะไปห้องน้ำ ปล่อยโฮออกมาแล้วก็ไปต่อค่ะ” โรเซ่บอก “เหมือนฉันอยู่ในระบบขับเคลื่อนอัตโนมัติเลย ถ้าคุณบอกให้ฉันไปเป็นเด็กฝึกอีกครั้ง ฉันคงทำไม่ได้แล้ว”

นอกเหนือจากชั่วโมงการฝึกอันยาวนาน เด็กฝึกทั้งหลายยังมีข้อบังคับแตกต่างกันไป BLACKPINK ถูกห้ามไม่ให้เดต ขับรถ และดื่ม ถึงแม้อาจจะไม่ชัดเจนว่าพวกเธอทำตามกฎอย่างเข้มงวดมากน้อยแค่ไหน ครั้งหนึ่ง โรเซ่เคยพูดในรายการ TV ของเกาหลี Radio Star ว่า “ข้อห้ามพวกนี้สามารถต่อรองกับบริษัทได้ค่ะ พวกเขาแค่ไม่อยากให้เราไปทำลับหลัง”

บรรดาเมมเบอร์เล่าว่าพวกเธอเข้าชั้นเรียนเกี่ยวกับสุขภาพจิต รวมถึงเข้ารับการบำบัดด้วย แต่สุดท้ายพวกมันก็ไม่ได้ช่วย “พวกเราเจอปัญหาเดียวกัน เพราะงั้นถ้าเราคุยกันเองมันจะดีกว่าค่ะ” จีซูกล่าว

“พวกเราก็แค่อดทนไว้” เจนนี่เสริม

“แต่แม้แต่เวลา 30 นาทีนั้นก็มีค่ามาก ๆๆๆ เลยค่ะ” เจนนี่บอก

“พวกเราเป็นเด็กมีปัญหาจริง ๆ” โรเซ่เล่าไปหัวเราะไป

“ฉันว่าจนถึงตอนนี้ คุณครูมันฝรั่งก็ยังไม่รู้เรื่องนี้เลยค่ะ” จีซูกล่าว

BLACKPINK มีส่วนร่วมในทุก ๆ ขั้นตอนของกระบวนการสร้างสรรค์ ตั้งแต่การระดมสมองคิดคอนเซปต์ไปจนถึงการแต่งตัวในขั้นสุดท้าย พวกเธอยังเป็นนักเขียนเพลงร่วมในเพลงดังอย่าง “Lovesick Girls” และอีกหลาย ๆ เพลง รวมถึงเพลงโซโล่ของตัวเองซึ่งบางเพลงก็เป็นเพลงฮิตระเบิดด้วย

“พวกเราไม่ได้แค่คอยรอรับเพลงที่เสร็จแล้วค่ะ ”จีซูกล่าว”พวกเรามีส่วนร่วมตั้งแต่ต้น ตั้งแต่สร้างรากฐาน แต่งเติมฟีลลิ่ง แลกเปลี่ยนความเห็นกัน กระบวนการทำเพลงตรงนี้ทำให้ฉันภูมิใจกับดนตรีของพวกเราค่ะ ถ้าพวกเราได้เพลงสำเร็จรูปมาแล้ว มันจะรู้สึกเหมือนเป็นเครื่องจักร ฉันชอบการมีกระบวนการทำเพลงมากกว่า เพราะพวกเราได้พูดว่า ‘ถ้าเพิ่มตรงนี้เข้าไปในเนื้อเพลงล่ะ? ถ้าเพิ่มท่านี้เข้าไปในท่าเต้นล่ะ?’ ”

หัวใจสำคัญในดนตรีของพวกเธอคือเท็ดดี้พัค โปรดิวเซอร์หลักของ BLACKPINK ประโยคที่แสนจะเป็นเอกลักษณ์อย่าง “BLACKPINK in your area!” ซึ่งปรากฏอยู่ในเพลงของพวกเธอหลาย ๆ เพลงก็มาจากเท็ดดี้

“ความเป็นมาของฮิปฮอปในเกาหลีไม่ได้เริ่มต้นจากแรปเปอร์และดีเจ แต่เริ่มจากบรรดาแดนเซอร์ที่เอาเพลง New Jack Swing มาแสดง” บล็อกเกอร์ T.K. You have been interviewing some girl who is apparently 'the next Olivia Rodrigo,' which is a wild title to have, but you digress. As you bid her good-bye, a sudden chorus of "Rosé! Rosé over here!" erupts from the group of photographers, followed by a series of flashing light bulbs.

Your eyes flick over to the red carpet area near you to see none other than the 26-year-old starlet, Roseanne Park. Otherwise known as Rosé from Blackpink.

You have never crossed paths with her at any events you have covered; which you just toss up to bad luck or god punishing you for some crime you can’t remember. Either way, it seems like you will finally be getting your chance. Judging from this distance, she is just as beautiful as she appears in all her photos.

Her blonde hair is flowing down her back while loose bangs frame her face as she smiles for the camera. You can see the press woman getting antsy though. Typical. Figuring you only have one or two questions left, you decide to venture out a bit.

"So, you're going to be going on tour again soon, that must be exciting..."

"It is! You're actually the first one to bring that up all night," she says, a hint of surprise in her voice.

"I do like to do my homework beforehand," you joke with a grin before continuing, "That being said, how do you manage to have fun and unwind? Even at these events, you have to keep a certain image, right?"

Rosé is quiet at first, and for a moment, she glances around as if to check that the coast is clear before she answers, "Oh, you know the girls and I find out ways to have fun. And this is actually my third year at the Gala, so I’ve found the little tricks and ways to have some fun."

There is something about the way she looks at you as she speaks that screams there is more than meets the eye to her words. Maybe it is the coy tone to her voice or the glint in her eye as she smiles. Whatever it is, you suddenly find yourself wondering exactly what ‘some fun' entails.

To cement their status as celebrities, they then sneak off inside to where they can have their fun. For the most part, you reporters stay together, talk, and drink the free liquor that is available.

You expect your night will be spent at the bar, winding your time down until it reaches an acceptable time to call it a night. But first things first, if you are going to be here on the company dime, you might as well get your money's worth.

"I've been looking for you all night!"

You are in the middle of ordering yet another drink when a familiar accented voice reaches your ears. Turning in your stool, you lay your eyes on Roseanne Park for the second time tonight, only this time there is something a little more...loose to her demeanor.
