sometimes i feel kinda bad for jennie. she always looks so excited when she sees the members' families, but there's barely never someone of her family there for her (i never saw anyone, if you did pls tell me). she literally was so attached to lisa's mom at the end of their first concerts, that she almost took her away with her (that was cute tho).

at the netflix documentary, she emphasized that it was only her and her mom, but yet her mom took her to live by herself on another country, with strangers, at only 10 years old, that's literally a little child. and how she have done all stuff by herself, and she would also leave to usa by herself again. i mean, that's kinda tough? for me, i guess?

jennie seems like one of those people that had to mature fast, so she seems to explore her life more, if that makes sense? for ex: she seems to date and get romantically envolved a lot more than the other girls and, for what i see everyday, this seems to happen often with girls who needed to be more mature as kids and "evolve" faster. and she clearly resents some things about her mom as she speaks on the doc... i just hope she's ok with all that.

Chapter 4: Happy New Year

Narrated by Vermillion Snow.

Narrator: The Cloudcrest New Year’s Eve party is showing on the giant screens. People are gathering outside the city to watch the show.

Narrator: After dinner, we head up Cloudcrest Pagoda which is located at the center of the city.

Narrator: It affords an excellent view of the fireworks.

Vermillion Snow: Ten, nine, eight... two, one!!!

Narrator: We join in the countdown, shouting out the numbers as loud as we can.

Narrator: When the final bell sounds, a thousand brightly colored lights appear, illuminating the darkened tower like the sun.

Narrator: Then all around the city, millions of lights come on... Starsnow tree lights, lanterns hanging from streetlamps.

Narrator: And there are LED screens on high-rise buildings, filling the night with light.

Vermillion Snow: Look! The fireworks!

Narrator: Standing at the center of it all, I lean over the railing and shout for joy.

Narrator: Colored light floods Cloudcrest, turning it into a brilliant, multicolored mandala, sparkling and flickering.

Narrator: It looks like a galaxy unfolding beneath our feet.

Narrator: There is a distant salvo of guns, then the fireworks show begins!

Narrator: Dandelions of light explode across the horizon, reflecting the glimmering ground and penetrating the dark sky.

Chi Xiaoyu: Oh! I remember! The Cultural Bureau said they were organizing a surprise for everyone!

Chi Xiaoyu: A special City Lights Show to go with the fireworks display!

Chi Xiaoyu: Vermillion, we’re like sisters, right? And we’re watching the fireworks together, right? That means your wish came true!
