Path Of The Solar Warrior (5e)
Some barbarians learn to fuel their rage with the radiant energy that exists within all living creatures. A brutish imitation of what monks do, like comparing the work of a man to a raging ape. Solar Rage After starting this path at level 3, you may sacrifice your movement action on your turn to enter a Solar Rage whilst already in a Rage. You do so by shouting loudly and for the duration you begin glowing brightly as if under the effects of a light spell. If either your Solar Rage or your Rage ends, so does the other.
At the end of every turn after taking damage since the end of your previous turn, you must make a Concentration check to maintain your Solar Rage. You must also make this check if you didn’t have to make it on your previous turn. The DC for this Concentration check is equal to 25 minus your total Charisma or Wisdom score, whichever is higher, or half of the highest combined damage taken from a single source since the end of your last turn, whichever is higher.
While in a Solar Rage, you gain the following benefits: • You may fire a “Solar Blast” as a bonus action. This attack has a range of 120ft, does 1d10 fire damage and uses Strength as its attack stat. Starting at 6th level, you may instead fire two blasts as a regular action, three blasts at 10th and four at 14th. • You have the ability to detect the presence, location and size of all living creatures within 60 feet, not including undead or constructs. • Your unarmed strike damage is equal to a monk two levels lower. • Your speed is doubled and your jump distance is tripled. • You have resistance to Lightning damage.
Super Solar Rage Starting at 6th level, you may increase your Solar Rage to a higher level as an action. While in a Super Solar Rage, you have Disadvantage on your Concentration checks to maintain this state. You gain the following advantages:
• Once per long rest, you may toss a Fireball as an action. Use your Constitution to calculate the Save DC. If you are caught inside your own blast, all creatures have Disadvantage on the Save. The damage of the Fireball increases by 2d6 at 10th and 14th level. You may spend an action “charging” the Fireball so it does max damage on the next turn. This effect does not count as a magical spell. • By sacrificing your movement as a bonus action, you may perform a Solar Step as long as your not over encumbered. You may move instantly to any unobstructed destination within 100 feet times your Constitution modifier that you can see or know well. You may carry one willing and similarly encumbered creature of Large size or smaller. Whenever you use this ability, roll a d12. On a roll of 1, you lose this ability. Every turn after, you may roll a d12 and on a roll of 12, you regain this ability. • Your ability to detect living creatures extends out to 180 feet. • The extent of your glowing light effect doubles. • You have a Flight speed equal to your ground movement speed. • You have resistance to Fire damage. Solar Mastery Starting at 10 level, you add the following benefits while in a Solar Rage:
• You may substitute Fire damage with Radiant damage. • You may perform a Solar Step without going into a Super Solar Rage. • You have Advantage on your save against the Disintegration spell. Solar Sight Starting at 10th level, you may spend a usage of your Rage to pinpoint the location of any living creature within 10 miles times your Constitution score. Super Solar Step Starting at 14th level, you may spend three usages of your Rage, up to three times per long rest, to Teleport, as the spell, though it does not count as a magic spell. You may not benefit from a Teleportation Circle but having pinpointed the exact location of a nearby creature via Solar Sight elevates your effective familiarity with the destination by one step. As an additional bonus, you may perform a regular Solar Step even outside a Rage. Solar Flare Starting at 14th level, you may spend a usage of your rage and a full-round action once per long rest while in a Super Solar Rage to charge a Solar Flare. Before your Rage ends, you may spend an action firing the Solar Flare as long as both of your hands are unoccupied. A blinding flash and cracking roar erupts from your hands. Each creature in a 60-foot cone must make a Constitution saving throw. A creature takes 80 fire damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one. A creature killed by this ability is turned to ashes.

so i was looking up datamined content from early access and wanted to rant and talk about some of the changes Ketheric and Shar His story was changed twice!in both ea version he was a moon elf chosen of shar(he had nothing to do with Myrkul),in the first version Halsin accidentally killed Isobel and that pushed ketheric to release the shadow curse, nightsong was an avatar of shar

this is the original nightsong,a necromancer called "sevryn"(beta version of balthazar?!) had quest for the player to kill her with a dagger that absorbed her power,but if you saved her she could become a camp follower,here's some of her lines
"Shar is the Nightsinger, and I am her Nightsong." "I am her instrument, transforming the faithful into Shadows." "I drink their sorrow, their loss, their grief,then I vomit it back into the world." "I was captured, by Ketheric Thorm - Shar's chosen.He turned me into this creature." "I want to sing my own song, not Shar's, not Ketheric's!"
you can listen to her datamined voice lines here and here's a video about that version in the second version Ketheric turned away from Selûne when Isobel was still alive in that version it was Balthazar who killed isobel then framed Aylin as her murderer there was this isobel's line "I was dead, Aylin. For so long. It was Balthazar - he trapped my soul, he-" and Aylin's line "It is why I couldn't leave your body, even when they came. Balthazar and that Sharran witch told your father that I was to blame." and one Ketheric's line @ Aylin"You killed my daughter, then you stand before me and lie? I'll see you suffer tenfold what my Isobel did."(source) i think being recruitable kinda make sense for this version of Ketheric because he was being manipulated by Balthazar and Shar btw here's ketheric and isobel's datamined models(source)

so act 2 was all about the conflict between Selune and Shar and they just slapped myrkul in there last minute?! so Ketheric being a sharran and a chosen of absolute means shar was somehow supposed to involved with the absolute plot(that why shadowheart and her fellow sharran went and stole the artifact)
Daisy,The Urges,Orpheus and The Emperor Daisy was the early access version of dream visitor and every companion used to have their own unique daisy(everyone had the same dream except Astarion)"Down by The River"and"The Power"used to be about daisy there were "urges" in early access that wanted you to kill Daisy Orpheus was in the artefact but he wasn't chained up,he was supposed to be the one who helped you and shielded you from the absolute instead of the emperor.He probably had a way bigger role there is a misconception that original tav was meant to be a bhaalspawn which is straight up false,the dreams and the urges from early access only accrued if you used your illithid power (using them originally meant to have severe consequences) i know some people say daisy was supposed to be a manifestation of the tadpole that was trying to turn you and your party into mindflayers but i don't think it was ever confirmed what daisy or those urges were,i could be wrong but i remember it was datamined that both the Absolute and Orpheus used the Daisy persona...idk i know some people are gonna be like"dream guardian is better,Daisy was creepy/obviously evil"but Daisy only appeared if you used your illithid power,plus you could just reject them...or even kill them
as for the emperor,at first i thought he was just a replacement for Daisy and Orpheus but apparently no!i was watching Harbs Narbs talking about bg3's magic the gathering cards,when he saw the elder brain's card he said"could this be the emperor?"
Cazador and The Butcher …they basically cut everything...(source of datamined lines) so there was this character called "the Butcher"(who was one of the chosen/leader of absolute)who asked you to find his apprentice "Ohler" in Baldur's Gate's graveyard and bring him back a flask(?!),he was the leader of a skeleton faction(their faction was called TadpoledSkeleton)their concept art is still in bg3 artbook

you could side with the butcher and bring him back his flask,then he proposed to turn you into an undead,but if he allowed him to performe the ritual to turn you undead he also would try to make you his puppet. if you managed to break free of his control and you had to fight him. To kill him permanently you had to destroy his phylactery,otherwise he would resurrects every time. or you could side with Cazador,he wanted the butcher guy dead

the other thing i wanted to mention is i think Cazador was originally supposed to be a half elf,the language Cazador uses is Kozakuran,The Kozakurans were a human ethnicity The Creche vs The Cult of the Absolute (source) there was supposed to be a fight between the absolute cultist(led by Orin and the butcher)vs the creche(and some sort of team up between lathander priests and githyanki)

some other stuff there was some datamined stuff bout the city here and here i don't get it...why did they change so many good stuff,Ethel's nephew and hag coven,Raphael's original deals,Zevlor plot twist and...are all gone at first i thought they"cut"those content due to time restriction or resource constraints but that's clearly not the case,There is a clear change in direction,i think what they were originally going for was"choosing the lesser of two evils"then they decided to go with more generic route of good vs evil! bg3 was released in August 2023,larian was looking for beta testers for Acts 2 & 3 in july 2022 idk maybe if they didn't rewrite the companions to be less mean/evil and didn't add halsin and dark urge they could have finish the game?!

Glowstick Danny
It's been a few days since Danny's accident, and, for the most part, he feels fine. Sure, yeah, he can see how to some other person the accident may have been horrifying or disturbing or something, but for Danny it seemed like just another day in the life of a kid with ghost obsessed parents.
The ghost powers are a little bit weird, but honestly, having superpowers has been pretty fun. Sam and Tucker have been coming over for sleepovers every night since the accident to mess around with his new abilities, throwing wads of paper through Danny's intangible chest and drawing on invisible skin with pen.
It's during one such sleepover that Danny, Sam, and Tucker are hunched over playing Doomed, having gotten tired of watching Danny walk upside-down on the ceiling while tossing a ball back and forth with Tucker. It's approaching one in the morning, and Danny has been sitting in the same position for far too long. His back is starting to ache and he feels like his bones are fusing together, so he reaches his arms above his head with a yawn and leans backwards as far as his chair will allow.
As he stretches, his spine lets out a series of small pops. Danny lets out a sigh of satisfaction as the tension in his body eases slightly.
"Dude, that was a nice one," Tucker remarks, leaning backwards to stretch his back as well.
Sam screws up her face in disgust. "Guys, you know I hate the sound of cracking joints, knock it off."
Danny throws her a shit-eating grin, and without breaking eye contact, he quickly presses down on the fingers of his left hand with the heel of his right, releasing a satisfying snapping sound from each of his knuckles. He braces himself for a punch to the shoulder from Sam, but it never comes. Instead of the trademark gross out expression he was expecting to see on Sam's face, her eyes are widened in wonderment.
"Dude," she whispers, "do that again."
"Uh, what?"
Tucker nudges Danny in the side. "Crack your knuckles again."
"Um...okay?" Slowly, cautiously, Danny moves to pop the joints on his right hand. This time, instead of smugly staring at Sam's face, he looks at his own hands. With the slightest amount of pressure, his knuckles release a small sound. This sound is accompanied by a faint green glow surrounding the knuckle, emanating around the joint before slowly fading, like a light shining through his skin. It seems his body has learned bioluminescence, but only in small doses.
"Woah," Danny murmurs.
"Do it again!" Sam encourages him.
He is more than happy to oblige. He walks over to the floor length mirror in his room, Sam and Tucker at his heels. He places his hand along his jaw and twists his neck. Once again, his joints crack, and each vertebrae in his neck is outlined in an unearthly green light.
"Dude!" Tucker exclaims. "That is so sick!"
"How does that work?" Sam muses. "I mean, I guess that cracking joints is bubbles popping in the fluid that lubricates your joints, and we know that your blood is some sort of weird ectoplasm blood hybrid now. Maybe all of your bodily fluid has a little bit of ectoplasm in it? And the light is from bubbles popping in the ectoplasm?"
Sam turns to look at her best friends, only to see that they are both staring intensely at Danny's hands. Danny is flexing his fingers with a sort of reverence.
"Tuck," Danny says as he locks eyes with his friend, "are you thinking what I'm thinking?"
"Absolutely," Tucker says with a nod.
In unison, they both shout at the top of their lungs: "HUMAN GLOWSTICK!"

The MIT Orbital Capacity Assessment Tool lets users model the long-term future space environment.
MIT’s Astrodynamics, Space Robotics, and Controls Laboratory (ARCLab) announced the public beta release of the MIT Orbital Capacity Assessment Tool (MOCAT) during the 2023 Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) Space Forum Workshop.
MOCAT enables users to model the long-term future space environment to understand growth in space debris and assess the effectiveness of debris-prevention mechanisms.

With the escalating congestion in low Earth orbit, driven by a surge in satellite deployments, the risk of collisions and space debris proliferation is a pressing concern. Conducting thorough space environment studies is critical for developing effective strategies for fostering responsible and sustainable use of space resources. 
MOCAT stands out among orbital modeling tools for its capability to model individual objects, diverse parameters, orbital characteristics, fragmentation scenarios, and collision probabilities. With the ability to differentiate between object categories, generalize parameters, and offer multi-fidelity computations, MOCAT emerges as a versatile and powerful tool for comprehensive space environment analysis and management.
MOCAT is intended to provide an open-source tool to empower stakeholders including satellite operators, regulators, and members of the public to make data-driven decisions. The ARCLab team has been developing these models for the last several years, recognizing that the lack of open-source implementation of evolutionary modeling tools limits stakeholders’ ability to develop consensus on actions to help improve space sustainability. This beta release is intended to allow users to experiment with the tool and provide feedback to help guide further development.
Richard Linares, the principal investigator for MOCAT and an MIT associate professor of aeronautics and astronautics, expresses excitement about the tool’s potential impact: “MOCAT represents a significant leap forward in orbital capacity assessment. By making it open-source and publicly available, we hope to engage the global community in advancing our understanding of satellite orbits and contributing to the sustainable use of space.”
MOCAT consists of two main components. MOCAT-MC evaluates space environment evolution with individual trajectory simulation and Monte Carlo parameter analysis, providing both a high-level overall view for the environment and a fidelity analysis into the individual space objects evolution. MOCAT Source Sink Evolutionary Model (MOCAT-SSEM), meanwhile, uses a lower-fidelity modeling approach that can run on personal computers within seconds to minutes. MOCAT-MC and MOCAT-SSEM can be accessed separately via GitHub.
MOCAT’s initial development has been supported by the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) and NASA’s Office of Technology and Strategy.
“We are thrilled to support this groundbreaking orbital debris modeling work and the new knowledge it created,” says Charity Weeden, associate administrator for the Office of Technology, Policy, and Strategy at NASA headquarters in Washington. “This open-source modeling tool is a public good that will advance space sustainability, improve evidence-based policy analysis, and help all users of space make better decisions.”
