One of the biggest problems I have with the Star Wars fandom… is how much they hate on Star Wars. Some of these people really make it hard to be a fucking fan. They have these rules that if you don’t follow then it’s “not Star Wars” 🙄 I am over the damn complaining. It’s annoying and dull. Your not happy with the latest story. Cool. Lucky for you the galaxy is a huge place and there’s plenty more stories to look into. If the sequel trilogy ruined Star Wars for you then stop watching and commenting on anything to do with future projects. You loved the old movies, great then pretend you never saw the rest and move the fuck on. There are others who are genuinely excited and happy to see what’s next and willing to give it a try. I was by no means entirely happy with the prequels, sequel trilogy, or with the latest Disney Plus series.. BUT there is a whole lot that I did LOVE about them. And what worked is worth continuing on. I got plenty to complain about like for example..I hated that Rey had to be a palpatine, I hate that the emperor somehow returned, I hate they had no plan and left great new characters with Nothing to do! and I especially HATE that Ben Solo died. It didn’t ruin Star Wars for me tho. That’s so damn dramatic. With this latest news I am so excited that Daisy Ridley is giving it another go and we will see Rey again for a new adventure. She deserves so much better and the hate “fans” give her and her character is truly ridiculous. I hope they stay mad crybaby bitches when she kills it for the next one! And also… bring back the Dyad! #bensololives🦋

one aspect i wish more people understood about them: He's not whiny. He fucking isn't. He's been abused and has trauma. Istg, people need to stop saying that trauma survivors are whiny.

one (or more) headcanon(s) i have about this character: He had a crush on one of the Jedi training with him when he was younger.

as well as

one character i love seeing them interact with: REY. But, we knew that already.

one character i wish they would interact with/interact with more: I wish we could have seen him interact with Poe more. It would have been great if he lived at the end of TROS and had to make up for the horrible things he'd done. (It was cheap to kill him off.)

one (or more) headcanon(s) i have that involve them and one other character: He and Rey have really gentle sex the first time they do. Both of them are virgins at that point. #BenSoloLives

DEEP DISCUSSIONS AROUND THE BEN & REY PHENOMENA!

#LOVEISFOREVERYONE

Firstly, we want to tell everyone that we invite all opinions --- positive, negative, and in between -- and welcome respectful discussions from every Star Wars fan from around the world.

That said, its not a secret that our Executive Producer, Director, and Writer for this fan film trilogy is a big fan of Ben Solo and Rey as characters. It is certainly something she deems a highlight throughout all three films. It is also not a secret that she dislikes some of the choices the filmmakers made in those movies. She has pros and cons for each of them.

As for other couples or possible couples that were not featured on this podcast, those actors simply were not available that day. They are working actors, thus their schedules are not always free. BUT... we'll get to see more of them in future podcasts too. And yes... there are couples like Larma D'Acy and her wife, Norra's sister, Esmelle and her wife, Shirene, as well as many other different types of relationships. These were just those available for this day.

Lastly, please remember this project involves nearly 50 people that all came together to turn it into a reality simply because they agreed that we needed to move the story forward. For the most part the one thing they all agree on is that the death of Ben Solo was 100% short sighted. We have folks that love the sequels, folks that really don't like the sequels, folks that both hate and love the prequels, even some that admire the originals but aren't crazy about them, and some folks who don't relate to anything in Star Wars. But they've all poured their hard work, time, and energy into creating these films.

Ben: What?

Rey: Sure. Since you already know the way... Besides, why bother the trouble to find the second wayfinder in a dangerous mission? You've already found one, let's use that.

Ben: Really?

Rey: Plus, it would be better to have help while facing the Emperor. And since we both want him dead and we make a pretty good team, as we established in the previous film...

Ben: Whoa, whoa! So you're saying... you are going to Exegol with me?

Rey: Of course! It would be very stupid of me to go alone. Why would I?

Ben: Yeah, that would be dumb. So... Aren't you going to fight me?

Rey: Why?

Ben: We are in the death star, I guess a lightsaber duel would be very dramatic and visually outstanding.

Rey: Ben, if I wanted you dead, I'd kill you in the throne room while you were unconscious.

Ben: I know, right?!! It's not like you had to run in the desert and do a dangerous backflip!

Rey: Nah... That's just extra.

Ben: Good, that's what I thought.

Rey: Just to let you know, I have two lightsabers now. If you need one--

Ben: But I already have my own.

Rey: Yeah, but if you happen to toss it in the ocean--

Ben: Why would I do that? It's my only weapon! I need it to protect myself!

Rey: Lol, I don't know, just saying. Oh, another thing I forgot to mention! Now I can force heal. So if you get injured or die, don't worry, I got you.

Ben: That's a relief! I might try it too!

Rey: Sure, it's totally not dangerous! Nothing happens to you.

Ben: So I'm not risking dying or something?

Rey: Absolutely not. Since I did it without any harm, why would it harm you? Don't worry, you'll be fine. You are a fan favorite.

Ben: I know, JJ and Chris Terrio wouldn't dare kill me off.

Rey: It would make no sense at all. But even if they do, I healed a murderous snake once, I can do it again.

Ben: Hey--

Rey: Just kidding, love you, hope you come back to the light side! ♡♡♡ And even if you don't, that vision of us in the Sith throne was dope!

Ben: Oh you saw that too? So it wasn't just my dream. Were you sitting in my lap in your vision too?

Rey: Yeah and I kept touching your tight.

Ben: Good, let's kill that old man and sit on his throne.

Rey: But can we be on the light side while seated?

Ben: Rey, it's literally the SITH throne! What part of the word "sith" do you not get?

Rey: But you said you wanted to let old things die, remember? Can we just be grey jedi instead?

Ben: K, whatever, if we still get to touch fingertips I don't mind.

Rey: I should probably call Leia and tell her I'm with you. You know, just in case she wants to speak to you, she doesn't have to reach out using the Force.

Ben: That would kill her.

Rey: Yeah, she can just call me on this high-tech comlink we use in this galaxy.

Ben: Plus the connection would be of better quality.

I found this absolutely breathtaking and beautiful dissertation about Ben Solo, his story, and his relationship with Rey. It made me cry! Disney needs to see this, because they did a wonderful and relatable character really dirty.

If you haven't followed Aaron Quinton on Twitter yet I urge you to do it now! His video theory about the ending and tweets are truly amazing and have managed to give me hope that somehow this is going to happen!

Also, as someone who works in Marketing and knows how social media marketing works, I strongly believe that Disney and Lucasfilm are not over with the SW series and the new characters they introduced over the years. What Aaron says that they are watching what fans post/comment after TROS is known as social listening, a common practice that companies do to see how customers perceive them, find user-generated content and, in general, discover what their customers want to see in the future. So, trust me when I say that they are well aware of what's going on out there and that they have already started planning their next move to somehow fix it. Remember, for companies like these, it's all about money and gaining more loyal customers.

For all the people out there who are still suffering after Ben Solo's death, stay calm, be positive, pay no attention to mean comments and just breathe. We still haven't heard anything from Disney and LF. (JJ and Chris' interviews just don't make sense anymore)

Also, Happy New Year! ♥️ 2020 must be hopeful and full of love! Eat well, sleep well, be creative, be positive and, above all, love yourselves! :)
