Hi, my love! Congrats on 3k, that's amazing and you deserve it! For the drabble round, could I get "It was the highest stakes game of rock-paper-scissors ever played," with my boy Bucky, please? Thank you and congrats again
Friendly Games
"C'mon, just one more! Best out of eleven!"
Groaning, you tipped your head back, wincing when you only met a hard bulkhead. It was too early for this. Or late. Or both. You just wanted to get back to base, debrief, peel off the tac suit and faceplant into your nice, big, comfy bed.
"Jesus Christ, Barnes, I am not playing another round of rock-paper-scissors with you! Accept defeat and learn solitaire or something!" you barked at your far too chipper company.
It hadn't been a bad mission per sé. Bad guys were mostly operating on dumb luck and ended up surrendering in the end. It had just been a very long, very frustrating mission, which wasn't helped by Bucky wise-cracking his way through every part of it. If he wasn't so beautiful (and, you know, important to the team), you wouldn't have hesitated to rearrange his face with the arc gauntlets supplied by Shuri for the mission.
"Please, you think you've defeated me? Don't you recognize a hustle when you see one?" Bucky teased, nudging your shoulder. "Got you right where I want you."
"And where's that? 'Cause you're right on my very last nerve."
Bucky put on his best pout, resting his head on your shoulder to look up at you. Pressing your lips together, you kept looking forward. If you broke and looked, he would win and you'd have to play and he'd lose again and this vicious, soulsucking circle would start all over again.
"Pleeeeeaaaaseee…"
Jesus, god, not the voice.
"Please, please, please?"
"You sound like a five-year-old, Barnes. Act your fucking age for once," you grumbled, crossing your arms over your chest.
"Please, I swear, this will be the last. Best of eleven and I'll leave you alone. Won't say a peep, won't even look at you. I'll make sure we're out of debrief within ten minutes?"
"If you think I won't make sure we're out in five, you're insane."
Barnes groaned, sitting back up with all the drama of a Hollywood diva, "Fine. Name your price."
Well, now… That was actually halfway tempting. The possibilities were endless. Breakfast personally delivered for ten weeks. Possibly with Bucky wearing a French maid outfit. He sure had the thighs for it. You held out your hand.
“Fine. If I win, you will bring me breakfast from that place I like down in the Village every Saturday for ten weeks.”
The grin that spread on Bucky’s lips could have lit up all of Manhattan. “Deal. And if I win…”
“Then what?”
“Tell ya that when I win,” he replied cheekily, holding out his closed fist.
Glaring at him, you held out yours, holding his gaze as you counted down.
Tumblr media
"It was the highest stakes game of rock-paper-scissors ever played."
“Why, daddy?”
The sound of your daughter Becca’s excited voice pulled you from the bedroom and to the adjoining room, where Bucky was cuddled down in the too small bed, right arm curled around your little girl. He looked up when he heard you coming, shooting you a toothy grin as you came and sat down on the edge of the bed.
“Because, your daddy cheated-”
Bucky fake-gasped, “I did not! I won that game fair and square.”
“And what did you win?” Becca asked, looking up at her father, eyes twinkling with mirth.
“A date with the most amazing woman in the entire world.”
Becca’s eyes widened, looking back at you, “Was that you, mommy?”
Laughing, you leaned in to press a kiss to her forehead, “It was, sweetheart. And I’d lose all over again, because we got you just a year later.”
Together, you tucked Becca in under her covers, said goodnight to her and her considerable posse of stuffed animals before sneaking out, leaving the door slightly ajar. Bucky pulled you into his embrace, holding you close and kissing the top of your head.
“How did I get so lucky, huh?”
“Well, I have it on good authority that I’m amazing,”  you said, drawing in the warm, safe scent that you had come to think of as home. “Plus, you know, you cheated.”
Bucky groaned, lifting you to spin your around and carry you to your own bedroom. You quickly got ready, cosying own under the covers, where Bucky immediately pulled you into him. It was his version of a safety blanket, he’d told you, knowing he had his entire world in his arms. Pressing a kiss to your neck, he whispered in your ear.
“Maybe just a little.”

Again
Tumblr media
Amaya’s packing her suitcase on the couch of her suite looking back at his pictures, replaying all the events of Abbie and Tyler’s wedding weekend in her head, letting a slow smile drift across her lips. Chris eyes her from the bedroom, unable to stop his own smile from forming. His strong arms are a welcomed warmth she won’t ever refuse. He wraps them around her from behind, slipping his hands under the front of her shirt, while he focuses on kissing his way down her cheek towards her neck and shoulder.
“Are you sure you don’t want to come to Toronto with me? We can make an actual vacation of it. You can come to my games and then we can sightsee like real tourists. I’ll wear my camera around my neck, you can hold the map and we can argue about me not needing to ask for directions. We can go to Niagara Falls, the CN Tower, maybe hit the beach on the Toronto Islands? Then you could go home…with me. You haven’t seen Clark in a while. He misses you. He doesn’t like Skype kisses. He told me. Neither do I.”
She smiles at the thought; leaning into him, laying her head back on his shoulder, enveloping herself in the still, comforting, home of his embrace. It’s no secret that she loves him. She’s never stopped. But afraid of herself, she’s been careful not to use ‘that’ word. Not to attach. Not to lose herself. Again.
“I know, I miss him and you too. And I want to Chris, I do. But after three months abroad, I’ve got to get home. You know how much of a diva Lois is. And she does not like Kaitlyn. So who knows how mad she is at me.”
“Well then, I guess we’ll just have to make the most of our time before our next visit.”
Chris whips her body around to face him.  She brings her arms up back to their rightful place around his neck, while his roam her back beneath her shirt and his lips instantly connect with hers as if they can’t be away any longer.
“So Mr. Powell. How exactly do you purpose we make the most our time?”
“I’m glad you asked Ms. DuGrant.” He walks them backwards until the backs of his knees hit the couch forcing him to sit, silently looking up, drawing her in. He pulls her body down towards his, bracing her hips so she can straddle his lap.
Tumblr media
She leans forward and kisses him again, slower and deeper. His hands inch up her shirt, slipping it over her head. His lips meet the crook of her neck with his tongue tracing a line down her collar bone, burying himself in the valley of her breasts. She throws her head back at the sensation, grasping at his hair, giving him the access that he craves. She lets her hands fall down to his chest, impatiently making quick work of his belt.
“In a rush Lane?”
“You said we had to make the most of our time. And I plan to do just that.”
“Is that so? What can I do to help?”
The feeling of his hands, give way to her giggles, drowning out the sound of the door opening behind them.
“Well, well, well it looks like the past does repeat itself.”
Startled, she covers her chest with her hands as her body turns to face the brazen intruder.
“Becca, what the hell are you doing in here?!”
“I was packing and came by to get my Hermés bag you borrowed.”
“That’s something you could’ve called for you know? How did you even get in?”
“The front desk agent gave me a key.”
“But this isn’t your room.”
“Amaya…you should know by now that I get what I want. And it seems you do as well.”
Frustrated at the situation playing out in front of them, Amaya removes herself from Chris’ lap to stand and face Becca.
“So how longs thing been going on?”
Amaya retrieves both her and Chris’ discarded shirts from the floor, throwing his to him before putting her own on and heads to the bedroom to grab Becca’s bag.
“There’s nothing going on”. She shouts back from the bedroom.
“Doesn’t look like it.”
Amaya exits the bedroom, throwing Becca’s bag in her direction.
“So?”
“So there’s your bag…get out.” Amaya gestures towards the door.
“Well, that’s rude. You’re not going to invite me in, offer me anything?”
“You’re already in and no!”
Becca turns to face Chris behind her when Amaya stops her. “Wait Becca…we’re going to need you to keep this to yourself.”
“Maybe…that is if you were a little nicer. And if I got some details.”
Chris walks out from the kitchen with three beers in hand, giving one to each of them.
“We’ve been seeing each other for the last two years.”
Amaya turns towards him, eyes wide questioning his hospitality and honesty. “Yes. But there’s really nothing to tell.”
“Two years sounds like something. So, what…are you two back together?” She asks as she takes a sip of her beer and they respond in unison.
“Yes.”
“No.”
“Becca can you just not say anything…please?”
“What’s there to say? Like you said ‘there’s really nothing to tell’”.
Becca turns to leave giving Amaya the ‘we’ll talk later’ smirk.
“See you back in New York. And Chris, I have a feeling I’ll be seeing you back in New York as well.”
After Becca’s exit, Amaya places her beer bottle on a nearby table to walk over to Chris who’s leaning up against the bar. His expression has changed though as he looks off reflectively into the distance.
“Now Mr. Powell, where were we?” She says, slipping her hands through the negative space his arms create as they rest on his hips.
“What do mean ‘nothing’s going on’ and ‘we’re not together’?”
“What?” She leans back from her embrace to look up to his questioning eyes.
“You told Becca that there’s nothing going on between us and that we’re not together.”
“It’s not. We’re not.”
“Then what are we?”
“We’re…”
He sighs, shaking his head and gently removing her hands from him.
“Forget it.”
“Kent we’ve talked about this.”
“And we’re going to talk about it again. I love you, Amaya. Plain and simple.”
“But it’s not. We live on opposite sides of the country. That’s not together, plain or simple.”
“There’s an easy fix to that.”
“We’ve been enjoying each other’s company, what’s wrongs with that?”
“Enjoying each other’s company is what people do at brunch. We’ve been ‘actively seeing’ each other, not to mention sleeping together for two years. Neither one of us is seeing other people, that’s together…such as it is…in my book.”
“And our jobs? What about those?”
“Again, an easy fix.”
“Chris you’re just starting out in the league. I’d never ask you to give that up.”
“The difference is…you don’t have to.”
“Chris you know how I feel about you, but I don’t know what you want from me?”
“I want you!” He throws his hands up in frustration; following his gradually increased tone. “That’s it!” He turns to walk away then abruptly turns back. “No! That’s not it. I want to dance with you at our best friends’ wedding without worrying about what they’ll think. I want to touch you and kiss you, whenever I want without caring who sees. I want to see you more than just every month or so. I want our kids to not have to see us from a screen. I want to not have to dodge interview questions about if I’m single. I want us in one place. Our place.”
“Chris…I…”
“Don’t bother. I’ve heard it all before. He starts to gather up some of his random things that’ve accumulated in her room over the weekend. “And for the record Amaya. I don’t actually know how you feel. Because I just told you that I loved you, and you didn’t say a word.”
“Chris don’t’ leave.”
“Why? It’s not like we’re together. Have a safe flight home. Give me a call when you want to talk to Clark.”
And just like that…he was gone. Again.

Extreme Spring Trends 2018
Everything is well in spring, wouldn't you say? Sun is sparkling, blossoms are sprouting, the grass is getting greener, everybody's looking glowy and (at last) alive, that is the means by which we see the current year's spring in any case. Be that as it may, how about we did not overlook the design that each spring brings along – every one of the hues, examples, and shapes. Despite the fact that not just your preferred dress lines are getting into the spring soul the eyewear is getting really new as well!
THE MOST POPULAR STYLES
Three of our dearest bloggers united their preferred sets of shades for your spring motivation.
Energetic shades
Natalia is in our eyerim family for some time now. At eye edge, we know her as an intense lady who can pull off actually everything. She is amusing, she is perfect, she is challenging, she pulled off these lively unisex Uvex Sportstyle shades and she looks extraordinary. In case you're not into this specific model, however, yet you're still into the brave lively style of shades, examine these other Uvex shades we hold for you at eye edge and we wager you'll locate the one!
Jeweled edges
Ivana otherwise known as Sweet Lady Lollipop is a Slovak design blogger partaking in eyerim fam for a significant long time. She is exquisite yet additionally easygoing and that is the thing that makes her so genuine to us. At the point when gotten some information about these Marc Jacobs sunnies, she replied: "Gold encircled Marc Jacobs shades are an incredible, indulgent and exquisite piece. They go splendidly with basic outfits yet additionally look incredible with marginally retro ones. That is the reason I picked this outfit, with somewhat of a vintage feel. "
Patterns IN COLORS
Striking hues are a significant evident piece of the spring. Possibly you cherish blazing shading combo; perhaps you can't get enough of dark lasting through the year – regardless of where your dedication lies, our bloggers got you.
One of a kind beautiful shades
Regardless of whether you need to light up your rich, all dark outfit with the striking point of interest or you need to shroud your "no make-up" tired face, you'll be knocking some people's socks off with these dark, green and red Gucci shades. Take Natália, she is the ideal model - she knows well that Gucci is dependably a smart thought.
Straightforward smooth edges
"Pink shading, particularly the fuchsia conditioned one, is harder to join on the off chance that you would prefer not to look excessively sweet," said the exquisite Rebeka from the Style of Becca who has clearly an unmistakable vision of what is in style. "I never consolidate clear hues with dark since this combo appears to be shabby to me. I attempted a blend of pink and numerous shades of tans – camel or bare and I'm getting a charge out of this blend a great deal! This outfit will work out for me once more." Want to look like Becca? All things considered, we realize we do. Get these dazzling Michael Kors shades or any of these comparable ones and appreciate a reasonable view amid radiant spring days.
Fantastic pink focal points
"Viewing the world pass by through pink shades? There's not much. Particularly in the event that they resemble these Dolce and Gabbana ones! These pink squared shades are the fantasy of (nearly) every fashionista and Dolce and Gabbana is never a failure. In my eyes, they're somewhat cutting edge and that is the motivation behind why I joined them in a moderate style," Ivana said. What's more, we can't help but concur! Everything is better with pink shades. Attempt it.
States OF THE SEASON
Style changes its shape each season thus does the shades. They change their shape constantly: one season they're enormous and larger than usual, and after that, they're the most modest seemingly insignificant details.
Curiously large feline eye shades
In case you're adoring Sweet Lady Lollipop's outfit as much as we do, get some motivation from her astute design counsel: "Mother pants, stripe tee, military-style coat, and a beret – I needed this outfit to intrigue however uncomplicated and young. Such outfits look incredible adorned with these Prada shades. Albeit apparently looking exceptionally circumspect and reasonable yet on eyes, they have very surprising jazz. I adore they're variable – the shading and the style. You can wear them with an exquisite dress, however, they're incredible with easygoing outfits as well." Wondering if Prada feline eye outlines are for you? Investigate this face shape guide and head to the eyerim site at that point, eh?
Vintage browline outlines
Style of Becca is infatuated with these Ray-Ban Blaze Clubmaster pair of shades! She said it herself: "I cherish the mix of red and blue, in a wide range of shades like coral red and turquoise blue together, or even strawberry tones with mints. These blends are made for spring! Reflected shades are a MUST HAVE for me! They look astounding, fun loving and new." You see now? Go get them, these Ray-Bans are selling like new bread!
Great round focal points
Round Ray-Bans are a work of art and you can never ruin anything with them. Little or larger than usual, Natalia looks extraordinary wearing them. So will you! As yet pondering whether round shades would be the correct decision for you? the eyerim blog has your back again - here is another face shape manual for the assistance you choose.
There you go, people – we trust our dear bloggers enlivened and roused you to stage a touch of your customary range of familiarity this spring. We stick by our conviction that each design diva ought to have in any event one sets of somewhat insane, erratic, vivid shades. Trust us, the world will change monstrously in such shades. Still, however, in case you're not propelled enough, look at this blog entry where we chose our preferred looks from the current year's design weeks so you're elegantly roused and prepared for the spring's blossom in a major style. If you buy sunglasses then you connect him.we provided shipping in all over the cities like Lahore, Karachi,, Faisalabad, Islamabad, Gujranwala, Multan, Sindh, Peshawar, Quetta, and etc

-
Now, it’s the year 2034.
It’s around 6 pm in Sydney. Luke stood by in the arrival area of the airport, wiping some sweat on his forehead when he was bombarded by some paparazzi on his way inside earlier. As he recovered, he feels a vibrating buzz on one of the pockets of his jeans. Bringing out his phone, it was a text.
“Just arrived, dad! Give me around 5-10 minutes, just waiting for my luggage.” He reads. It was from *Rebecca*.
Jokes on him, it’s actually Stella. Originally, it’s Rebecca with Luke then Stella with you. Nope, they switched. But hey, let’s just stick to *Rebecca*.
This trip to Florida was the first time Rebecca travels abroad by herself, and boy he missed her, even it’s been a month and a half.
His little girl alone and gone? Shit.
He was hesitant at first when she asked you about this camp, adding how Scarlett Irwin, Ashton’s oldest daughter, had fun there 2 years ago. Yet, why not? It’s a small start with teaching her some independence, especially since he himself traveled without any family when he was in his late teenage years, not even counting the boys.
But calling each other wasn’t an easy thing, trying to find the middle ground always. They talked for the first two weeks, which then abruptly stopped on the last half of her stay in camp. He couldn’t blame her, especially since camp is physically tiring. Not only that, he grew very busy too with working on new music. Even up to this time, the band is still making music.
But the next album would be the last since he wants to focus on his family, on Rebecca. The boys felt the same, especially since they have families of their own. If that was the case, then he would gladly be satisfied with working as a music producer and lyric composer for other artists and bands. Just as long as music is involved, everything is well.
“Dad!” Luke’s attention shifted. He immediately looks up to see a short, blonde girl with her favorite black ripped jeans and suitcase. His stressed expression turned happy.
“Come here, you little poppet!” He exclaims, kneeling down to her level and spread his arms wide open. Rebecca runs to him despite her luggage, and gives him a warm hug, being lifted by him too. How she missed him, all this time.
Tumblr media
“I missed you so much, dad.” She mumbles in his ear.
“I miss you too, Becks.” He uses her other nickname before he lets her go from his grasp and then they do their special handshake, air-guitaring in the end. He begins to notice a few changes.
“You cut your hair! I thought you loved your black dyed ends?” He starts.
“Well, Florida was just as warm as Sydney, dad! I couldn’t help it.” She states, tugging a piece on the back of her ear.
“You got really tan and a bit sunburnt too, huh?” Luke observes.
“Yeah, but it was worth it. Camp was really fun.” She says as she reminisces what she calls the best summer of her life so far. Suddenly, she felt some tears going down her cheek.
“Oh no poppet, what’s wrong? Did someone break your heart already?” Luke worries, wiping away some tears.
“It’s nothing. I just really missed you, and time felt so long when you’re in a different country.” She answers, sniffing a bit.
“Hmm I see, poppet. But don’t you worry, you’re back with me now, okay? I got you always.” He reassures before getting a hold of her wheeled suitcase.
“How about you talk more about what happened in camp on the way home, yeh?”
“Sure thing, dad.” *Rebecca* bubbly answers, finally glad to use this word after so long.
-
“Here’s one thing I want to point out, dad. I love you and all, but it’s weird when some camp counselors knew you from way before I was born and talked about how good-looking you were and still are and wanted to marry you. They even wanted you to make a sudden appearance!” *Rebecca* cringes, getting a slight shiver in her bones. Luke laughs at her emotions as his eyes maintained at the road.
“Well, I’m flattered. So far as I’m concerned, you’re the only girl I have in my life right now.” He professes.
“Welp, that’s the second time I’ve cringed on this trip home.” She jokes.
“So what else happened? Did you do anything mischievous or rad?” Luke tried to act cool like he says he was, but he did try though.
“Cringing for the third time, oh no.” *Rebecca* facepalms.
“Now come on, tell me more.” Rebecca ponders on other funny stuff that happened, despite most of the time, it was spent arguing and competing with Stella before they maturely put aside their difference. All of a sudden, this one really crazy experience hit her mind: when she lost that game of poker. She changed the perspective into the real Rebecca’s, of course.
“Well one time, after dinner and before curfew, the girls and I played poker and boy, I got a lot of candy and American knick knacks afterwards. Also, this one girl challenged me to a best of 3 rounds and I won! To top it off, I made her do a forfeit!” *Rebecca* excitedly shares as Luke drives.
“Oh no, what did you make her do?” Luke asks, smirking at his daughter’s antics. Rebecca is a very cheeky, mischievous girl, always having tricks above her sleeve and tactics to pursue them. Just like her dad.
“I made her jump in the cold lake, commando. The other girls and I stole her clothes too, leaving only her shoes.” She reveals, followed by a hit of laughter from her.
“You evil little girl. But very smart must I say for an 11 year old to have nudity involved.” Luke commends. As a father, he is very open. If she has questions, he makes sure to answer them as truthfully as possible. Thank the heavens she hasn’t asked the where-do-babies-come-from question ever.
He also doesn’t want to be a harsh and strict one, which could lead to Rebecca lying to him a lot in the near future, yet he doesn’t spoil her too much and corrects her when she is wrong or does wrong things. He wants her to trust him and vice versa.
“Well thank you, 37 year old dad.” *Rebecca* gives a funny comeback.
“Don’t push it, poppet.” Luke chuckled. From his peripheral vision, he noticed *Rebecca* looking the sunset.
“Missed seeing that?”
“Yup. Nothing beats it.” *Rebecca* says as her eyes gleam at how beautiful it was. It was nothing compared to Los Angeles. She was gazing at it when they reached a stoplight, wherein it was a chance for Luke to plug his phone to the aux cord of his car and then presses shuffle on his music.
“I don't mind, letting you down easy but just give it time.” He sings along. It removed *Rebecca* from her daze as she knew this song too, so she sang along with him.
“If it don't hurt now, but just wait, just wait a while, you're not the big fish in the pond no more.” She sings back. When the chorus played, they were jamming hard, not giving a damn with what the other people from the outside and other cars would think.
“I definitely missed singing songs in the car with you, poppet.” Luke confirms, holding *Rebecca’s* hand. Before they knew, Luke saw a familiar white house at the end of Braxton Lane.
“We’re home.” Luke says as he drives through the garage, parking it there. As they got out of the car, *Rebecca* admired how lovely the house was. White and huge, just as the real Rebecca described to her.
“Felicia, we’re home!” He shouts from outside. Felicia is the nanny of the family since the beginning and always helps out in any way she can. He opens the trunk of the car, and yanks out *Rebecca’s* luggage. She just kept looking around while he did such.
“You really missed this huh?” She nods. They both walk the pathway to the front door, and as Luke opened the door, it was dark as they got inside. But when they closed the door, the lights suddenly turned on, seeing a lot of ‘new’ faces from *Rebecca’s* eyes.
“Welcome home, Rebecca!” They burst out. This whole time, Luke planned this surprise a few days before. He wanted it to be perfect. *Rebecca* was overwhelmed with the surprise, yet enlightened to see the close loved ones of her dad. She felt welcome.
“Oh you’ve changed quite a bit, little Becks.” An elderly woman walks up first to *Rebecca* before embracing her. *Rebecca* quickly analyzes her face, trying to recall who she is from the family tree the real Rebecca taught her.
“Aww, Granny Liz! How I’ve missed you!” She remembered. As they let go, a teenage boy walks towards Rebecca.
“Got a bit tan over there in Florida, Becca?” He compliments. *Rebecca* analyzes again, Then it hit her.
“More than here, Max.” Max is her oldest cousin on Luke’s side. He’s 17 and specifically, Jack and Celeste Hemmings’ only child.
“Oh no, this diva is back.” Joining in the conversation is Alex Clifford, Michael’s 12 year old and oldest son. The real Rebecca mentioned to her that he’s her ultimate best friend since they knew each other for so long. But little did the real Rebecca knew is that *Rebecca* finds him really cute.
“What’s it to you, loser?” She banters along with a sassy tone.
“Wow, it’s not even an hour yet and you guys are all sassy already.” The last person to join the conversation was a middle-aged redhead with her arms crossed.
“Oh Felicia, we’re really like this. You tolerated us for it.” The “Felicia” Alex referred to is the nanny the real Rebecca grew up with.
“Hmm. Well if you excuse me, Alex, let me give some love to my poppet while you and the other kids go ahead and play games or whatever your generation does nowadays.”
“Alright. Bye, Felicia. Catch up later, Becks.” Alex leaves the scene, probably going to talk guy stuff with Max.
“So how are you, poppet?” Felicia begins.
“Great, a bit tired from the trip, but still great.”
“That’s nice to here. Anyways, I prepared your favorite meals, like 5-cheese macaroni and cheese, roasted chicken, brownies. Go and get something to munch on, afterwards you better tell me stories about camp.” *Rebecca* nods as she grabs a plate and serving the good food on her plate.
Meanwhile and much later, also to Luke’s dismay, his parents had to leave ahead because they have an early flight to London the following day. Luke was then chatting with the guys with their wives by the patio while the other teenage and adolescent children were playing Frisbee and other games by the backyard.
“Well mates and gals, the night is pretty young. Let’s drink to that!” Ashton brings his beer up, urging everyone to bring their drinks up. They clinked them together, which was followed by a set of “woo’s”.
“It’s been a little while since we’ve had something like this, right?” Luke asks as he continues to indulge his beer.
“Yeah. I feel like we’re in our twenties again. Those were some fucking good years, well before the kids.” Calum reminisced as he lit up his second cigarette of the night.
“We’re lacking weed though.” Michael says with realization, getting chuckles from everyone.
“I have to say, Rebecca’s changed quite a lot, yeh?” Celeste acknowledged.
“Yeah! Her hair is short, which is rare.” Crystal points out. Yes, they got married, which is pretty cute. They have three kids, Alex, Beatrix and a younger boy named Nathan, or Nate.
“She might’ve grown an inch or two since the last time I saw her.” Eleanor, Calum’s wife, adds. They met when Eleanor was one of the tour photographers for the band, wherein she was always on Calum’s side of the stage taking photos. He gradually grew a liking for her, starting with having lunches together and photoshoots pretty much anywhere. Then, then rest is history. Marriage and an only son named Nicholas, or Nick.
“She’s grown a bit shyer and quiet too. I don’t know, but I’m not used to her not like this laid back, and she would always arrive at a party like this with a loud hello.” Bryana addresses. She and Ashton sorted things out and tried again. Now, they’ve been married for more than 10 years, also with 3 kids, Scarlett and two boys named Oliver and Topher.
“Give her a break, love. The poor girl just got off a really long flight.” Ashton intervenes.
“Hold on, is Sierra still coming over, mate?” Jack changes topic, about Sierra. Deaton to be specific, also known as the singer Essy. She’s also a close friend of the band. Even a friend of yours too before.
“Sadly, she couldn’t. Working in the studio still for that next album.” Luke answers. Oh no, this topic.
“Oh yeah. So when are you gonna tell Rebecca about you and Sierra? She onlys knows you two as good friends.” Crystal brings it up a lot further.
“Shit, I don’t know. Soon perhaps?” He replies, really unsure.
“Well, you gotta do it fast. You’re getting married again in a month, God damnit!” Michael reminds, putting his head on top of Crystal’s shoulder. Luke’s stress levels rose. He didn’t know to approach this situation, especially since Rebecca didn’t have an actual motherly influence after the divorce.
Hmm, unless you count Felicia.
“Again, lol.” Michael points out that word jokingly, which gave an immediate shock everyone in the room.
Picture a lot of Kermit the frogs drinking tea. It was like that, except with alcohol and cigarettes. Shady indeed. If there was the “He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named” from Harry Potter, then this was the Topic-Which-Should-Never-Be-Brought-Up.
Much to their luck, Luke didn’t rage or anything. He was unresponsive and just continues to finish his second beer of the night. But he felt a pang of pain. Regret even, but he didn’t want to set the evening with bad vibes.
“Drunk already, Clifford? It’s only 9 pm.” Calum breaks the silence, getting a chuckle from Eleanor.
“Not really, but I’m not as strong as I used to be, Hood.” Michael mumbles, and right before he takes another sip, Crystal grabs his beer from him.
“And I believe you’ve drank too much for tonight. You’re driving, or better yet, I will.” She says politely out of safety. Michael grins like a Cheshire cat, grabbing back his beer.
Despite those past topics, the group continued on talking, never running out of things to say or share. Not to mention indulging more alcohol, except for Crystal, Ashton, Eleanor and Jack. They’re the designated drivers.
Ashton shared that he tried to answer the where-do-babies-come-from question from Nate one day, while Luke shared what *Rebecca* told him earlier in the car about the camp counselors, Jack told about his trip to Sweden with his family, and lastly, the most amazing one which is from Calum and Eleanor.
“We’re expecting.” Eleanor announces, receiving hugs and congratulations from everyone. Time passed so quickly, and eventually, midnight hits. The boys and girls still had work in the morning.
Good luck to them, especially Michael. As they all left, Luke crashed instantly on the couch, his tipsy eyes about to close after drinking a lot of beer.
“Someone looks dead tired.” It was *Rebecca*, commenting on his exhausted physique and sits beside him.
“Imagine working in the studio, driving for 30 minutes to the airport to fetch you, then organizing and entertaining this little party for you.” He responds, his arms reaching out to her for a cuddle. Hesitant at first, but eh, she wanted to treasure everything she missed out on with him. Kissing the top of her forehead, Luke speaks up again.
“Tomorrow, we are spending the whole day together. Anything you want to do, poppet, let’s go for it.”
“Well, that whole day starts now, dad. Let’s start with sleeping.” She suggests as he nods. Lazily, they stood up.
“Good night poppet. Don’t let jetlag win you over.”
“Noted. Good night, dad.” As Luke was the first to walk away, Rebecca speaks up.
“Good luck with your future hangover.” She adds, jokingly.
Oh this girl, he thought. Today is bound to be good.

A Shade Of Silver
Title: A Shade Of Silver
Word Count: 1,390
Warnings: Mild swearing (None said in anger or malice, but just to be safe!) and the usual fluff overload (BECAUSE HIT ME WITH THAT POSITIVITY!!) Also some characters may be a little OOC (but I've been working on this for 6 hours straight ON MY PHONE! So I don't mind too much)
Ships: Romantic: The storyteller and her shield (Gladio x Myself), The story of the stars (Shiro X Myself), The demon and the choir girl (Nero x Myself)
Platonic: Sunshine in the void (@eons-in-the-void x myself) ((SURPRISE HON!! I thought of one)), Prompto, Pidge, Keith, Lance
Summary: It was seriously beginning to get on my nerves how faded my hair was, so after discussing it with Chris it was decided that he wanted to help me out since I had been through so much recently. Today was finally the day, and let's just say I'm a sucker for hair transformations
Rebecca's hair had been growing out and fading for a while now, and although she was happy with the length she was growing more and more unsatisfied with the color. So after discussing what would be the best course of action with her Senpai and pushing herself to exhaustion to finish her schoolwork, Rebecca took the weekend for herself to put her plan into action.
So after she finished the History class she had in the morning, Rebecca went with her mother to pick up her stylist. Upon returning home, Rebecca's senpai, Chris gripped her wrist and raced to the bathroom with all of the needed supplies, his own plane of midnight flopping around his head as he went.
"Okay sweetie, sit down!! First, we need to bleach your hair since it's so dark." He said as he guided his bubbly friend to the ground then went to prepare the mixture.
After an hour filled with laughter, weird videos, and good, although extremely ranged, music passed the two dashed back to the bathroom from Rebecca's bedroom with her practically aflame from the bleach. Chris helped the excited, now platinum blonde, girl wash her hair and dry it in the way that it sat right. Running back to Rebecca's room, Chris spun her around which earned him a giggle in reply as she stumbled to stay standing.
"Can I take a picture, you cute bean?"
Rebecca leaned forward still catching her balance while she pouted, "I'm not cute!! But go ahead, I wanna show everyone the different stages."
Whipping out a phone that had deep cracks cutting through the screen, Chris began snapping her at different angles like she was a model hot on the runway. Once he had a plethora of pictures he thought captured his sunshine shaded hair partner in a way that was good for her, he sent them over to her through Skype. Rebecca took her time laughing at a few silly ones before picking one she liked and sending the favored photo to a group chat she had made with her other loved ones.
Tumblr media
Becca: Hey guys!! Bleaching is done, what do you think?!?!!
Lance: Woah! Looking good Becca, you pull that look off way better than Mullet
Pidge: Lance we've been over this, Rebecca's punk while Keith's just emo, the prince of it, but still.
But I do have to agree it looks good
Keith: I'm not emo
Lance: Suuureee
Gladio: If anyone's the prince of emo, it's Noctis
You look good like that babe I don't know why you said you wouldn't
Becca: AAAAAA!! O////O THANK YOU FOR YOUR KINDNESS!!!!!
ANYWAYS I'M GLADDY YOU LIKE IT AS MUCH AS I DO!
BUT HAVE YOU READ MY POETRY? I AM THE EMOEST!!
That's a word now...
Pidge: Gladdy?
Prompto: Aww! It's cute!
Becca: GLAD***
I hate my phone...
But I'll be back soon it's time for phase two!
The others had already begun messaging Rebecca, curious at what she meant by phase two. More people had also joined in the conversation, giving their opinions, and keeping the usually quiet chat booming. But alas, it was too late to find out what this 'phase two' was because Rebecca had already discarded her phone to make haste to the bathroom to begin the process of having Senpai put toner in her hair.
The waiting time for the toner was much shorter than the bleach. All the two had done this time around was have small dance session that lasted three songs and beat a song in Project Diva: Future Tone. Rebecca puffed out her cheeks and gradually deflated them, feeling mildly miffed at herself since she knew she could've gotten an 'Excellent' instead of a 'Great'. Though she was so overwhelmingly giddy with how her day was going, she didn't even utter a complaint.
In the bathroom for the fourth time in two hours, Rebecca's seafoam eyed senpai helped her rinse out the toner. When Rebecca stood and met herself in the mirror, her mouth was agape and her almond eyes were near perfect circles from surprise. It's wasn't that she didn't like the sight before her, it was just far from what she was expecting.
Her locks that were comparable to the glittering rays of sunlight mere minutes before were now more like the shade of sparkling moonlight. This was definitely different from the snow white that Chris had informed her about, but she didn't really mind. To be honest she actually enjoyed the look when it was dried and styled.
"Don't worry hon, it's a silvery gray now but after a few washes, it'll be white as all hell! Do you still wanna add the red today." Chris questioned as the two wandered out of the bathroom, blinking away the lingering burning sensation from the bleach and toner.
Rebecca hopped down into her room and skipped over to her small mirror to brush out her hair a bit more. "I dunno," She paused her brushing, turning her head to view other areas that needed to be brushed out. "I am actually starting to really enjoy the color on me. Do you think it looks nice?"
Chris nodded as he approached Rebecca to hug her from the side, "Yeah Love, everything looks great on you though." He murmured, resting his head on a cream-colored shoulder.
Rebecca bonked his head with the brush she was holding as she laughed. She then hugged him back and whispered how full of crap he was.
"Whatever, you boob!" He replied in mock exasperation. "It's picture time again, so look this way." He tilted her head away from the bright light flooding her room through her window while Rebecca plopped down onto her bed.
When the second photo shoot was over, Chris sent over the new set for Rebecca to send.
Tumblr media
Becca: Toner is all rinsed out and now I have this cool cloudy gray shade! It grew on me quickly
Gladio: Damn that suits you too. You do look great and God that smile
Becca: AAAAAAAA YOU ARE WAY TOO SWEET TO ME! I love you!
OH YEAH
I gotta ask Raiden, Nero, or Shiro if this shade qualifies me to be a badass
Shiro: I wouldn't call myself a badass. Though what do you mean, sweetheart?
Becca: Well usually in any show or game or book even, the characters with white hair are beyond badass! Now I know fiction and reality are two different things, but you guys come along and totally blur that line! So I wanna know if I can join you now that I have awesomely silver hair like yours.
Nero: I'd say you're badass regardless of your hair, which has got to be my favorite you've done so far. Cute as hell. But in your own way, you know?
Becca: ...Senpai says I'm a strawberry right now... but thank you for all your kindness!!
Nero: It is the truth.
Becca: You're way, way too sweet! But Senpai is pulling my arm out of my socket to go outside so I gotta go before I lose it. I'll call later and hopefully, I'll get to hear how you're all doing. I LOVE YOU ALL SO MUCH!!!
Before Rebecca could see any of the upcoming replies she was pulled up from her seat on the bed and drug outside, which caused her phone to be dropped early in the leg race.
"Come on, I wanna dick around at the playground before dinner," Chris explained while he pulled Rebecca down the stairs as fast as he could without hurting her hip.
"The one right across the street?" Rebecca questioned while raising an eyebrow.
She was all for playgrounds even at this age, but this one was so small since it was for the toddlers who went to the church's daycare. Plus it didn't have a swing set which was Rebecca's favorite attraction since she loved the sense of soaring.
"Hell yeah, why not?!" Chris asked excitedly.
"Cool with me." Rebecca giggled, following his lead with as much spring she could put in her step...

the rundown
you would think that january and nick would be able to raise one kid that wasn’t....like them. unfortunately that wasn’t the case with their youngest. kimberly might have only been sixteen but she was kind of a big deal for her age. she was a mini january to put it lightly. she was bossy and cold. kimberly wasn’t exactly a people person unless she had to be. she even proceeded her older sister’s reputation as a diva and that was saying a lot since anya had her moments as well. however not many knew that kimberly was such a handful, mostly because she knew how to play the game and keep people guessing. she had a cute, angel face and she used that to her advantage. she played the sweet little girl card when she was around strangers or other important royals. but get on her bad side or have something that she wanted prepare for a storm. kimberly was an expert manipulator and knew how to get what she wanted.
kimberly isn’t a bad apple all around there’s one thing she did get that her other siblings didn’t have she gained her grandfather’s love of the paranormal. of course she doesn’t say that a loud because that’s totally uncool and everyone would look at her funny. she has a reputation alright? she can’t ruin it by being the freaky ghost girl. despite not wanting to ruin her image, kimberly did love the paranormal. she would often bond with her uncle carter about his ghost encounters and adventures. she’s even been on a few herself with her cousins by her side. those are some of her fondest memories, even if they almost died. it’s fine.
fashion is in her blood. her mother was a model and so is her sister. so, it’s a no brainier that kimberly was going to dip her toes into the fashion world as well. she enjoys modeling but finds it tedious at times. she also doesn’t want to be compared to her older sister who has more than established herself in the fashion industry. thus, leading her to try out designing. it’s not the easiest but she’s already got her foot in the door thanks to her parents. the only thing kimberly has to do is maintain positive relationships with everyone and not have a diva meltdown. let’s see how long that lasts.
relationships
the cousins (zeta & rachel) -  she’s close to them even though their personalities clash a lot but they’re cool i guess
hit me up for connections.

Where The Heck Are The Mallows?
January 23, 2019 (Wednesday)
Hey there, Tumblr!
I had a lot of fun last night because my classmate and I walked around the city area after class. We’ve been planning before that we should have a night photoshoot downtown, and finally, we’ve done it last night. I’m totally posting it on my instagram soon.
Since today is Wednesday, that means, no class for me (cause in my university, Wednesdays are activity days, but it’s more of a lazy day, really). Cassidy, Maddison, Nadia and I had another brilliant plan today: we’re planning to spend our Wednesday at Cassidy’s and watch tons and tons of movies (how’d that sound? Lazy, right?) Just so you know, bitches, Cassidy had the most monstrous television in the world and by “monstrous” I mean HUGE AF (okay, maybe I’m super exaggerating that, but it’s true). They don’t own it actually, but they’re keeping it for the meantime. You’re probably wondering and have a lot of questions right now, but bitches, this post is not about the fucking TV, okay? So moving on now. Maddison and Nadia said that they’ll just be meeting us at Cassidy’s, so it’ll be just me and Cassidy who are going to buy foods for the moviemar (short for movie marathon, obvi). But, one bitch decided to join the fun. At first, I was hesitant to let her join us because I’m not really that close to her yet, but it turned out that she’s way more fun to be with, so hell yeah! Cassidy and I decided to meet at the convenience store where we’ll be buying our yummies. And when I got there, another bitch decided to show up, Jenessa, which made me so so happy because as you all (don’t) know, this bitch is one of the favorite friends of mine, and we missed her so so much (she’s a working student FYI, that’s why we don’t see her that much. But her house is next to my grannies), of all my favorite friends, Jenessa is the most voluble. She’s also the tallest and the loudest (literally), if she talks, you can still hear her even if you’re 3000 miles away (no joke). Okay, that was a joke, but she’s still too loud.
The minute we saw each other at the convenience store, she immediately ran into me, screaming and shouting like a total retarded bitch. But instead of stopping her, I just smiled and gave her a big big hug and kisses, because I missed her so much. If Maddy and Nadia were here too, they’ll definitely do the same. Everyone in the store was looking at us, some were smiling seeing us happy, but some were probably pissed off because even a professional artist couldn’t draw their frowning faces. It was around 11am and there were not a lot of costumers in the store, so every time Jenessa laughs and shout, we can clearly hear her voice echoing the halls. Their classmate (the one who shouldn’t be named yet, because I’m still thinking of a perfect nickname for her), kept stopping Jenessa from being so loud, but knowing Jenessa, no one can stop her, not even your mother (*Your Mother* is a funny statement in my country, but you probably won’t get it since it should be spoken in my native language). Back to the store, we’re still having a good time, even though everyone’s eyes were at us already. Who cares? We’re popular you know, so keep those burning eyes at us. Aside from being annoying and the noisiest customers in the store, we also had a lot of funny moments, especially Cassidy. Hahaa. Cassidy, Cassidy, Cassidy, you never fail to own the circus spotlight. That’s why I love my friends so much, because they always bring out the happy giggly side of me. We keep on walking around like we own the place, laughing, giggling and shouting. We leave the store with too much tears of joy. Not to mention, some of the boys who were asking to be our toys (I love it when the words rhymes).
Since Cassidy really wanted to play “Chubby Bunny” challenge for her vlog (which I honestly have no idea what game it was), we decided to go to a pastry shop to buy some mallows (short for marshmallows). We went inside and as usual, we started spreading bitchiness there as well. This is Cassidy and her classmate’s first time here in the shop, so Jenessa was acting little-miss-know-it-all and led us where the mallows were, but ended giving us an idiot laugh because she led us to the wrong place. Can you imagine taking the stairs up and down because she thought that the mallows were upstairs? And how pathetic it is that this poor shop doesn’t own an elevator or even escalators. I had a doubt when Jenessa said that the mallows were upstairs because my mom used to buy stuffs here for her cakes. And every time I tagged along, I don’t remember mom going up the stairs to look for the mallows. But Jenessa looked so sure when she said “it’s upstairs”. And Becca (the other bitch who decided to join us, and yes, the one who shouldn’t be named? Guess what, I found the perfect nickname for her), asked me about my mom and does my mom used to bake cakes? And I said yes, maybe she was also thinking that I knew where the mallows were.
After Jenessa led us to the balloons and party hat’s station, we then went downstairs and searched for the mallows, laughing. Finally, we found it together with the other sweet stuffs. Becca even joked about it and said “It was in the basement pala, that’s why we couldn’t find it”. And she was right; the mallows were placed in some kind of underground floor (I don’t know how to explain it, basta it is lower than the first floor). Jenessa’s stupidity didn’t end there, when she paid for the mallows, she couldn’t help herself from laughing because of what had happen. She even forgot to take the receipt and went back to get it. Crazy J!
This’ll probably be a very long post but I don’t care, I’m having so much fun telling you this story. So, let’s get back to it, shall we?
After all the shopping disaster we had, we decided to go home because we still have to cook for our lunch (brunch for me because I haven’t eaten my breakfast yet, *after a moment of thinking* oh, I actually did, what a forgetful little bitch am I). On our way home, we couldn’t help ourselves from taking videos and selfies from Cassidy’s phone (because she was the only one who had a nice phone, that’s why). So, as you all know, guys, I actually don’t know why did I just say that, ya’ll obviously don’t know, right? Stupid me. But anyway, we live in a mountainous area, so we had to ride another ride (does that make sense?). When we’re almost at the top of the mountain (hahaa sorry, I’m running out of English here), the driver had to unload some passengers because it was too heavy for a bumpy ride. There were five of us all, including Mr. Driver, and since Becca and Jenessa were seated at the far end, the two of them had to sacrifice. The funny thing was, when Becca thought that the driver will just return to fetch them, but actually, he’s not. He just asked them to walk all the way to Cassidy’s (we’re almost at Cassidy’s anyway, so it’s not really that big of a sacrifice).
Jenessa decided to visit her mom first so she went straight to their house and Becca went with her because she haven’t been to Jenessa’s house before (we only have a quiet little neighborhood so our houses here are just a walking distance). Meanwhile, me and Cassidy went straight to their house and started cooking lunch. When Jenessa and Becca arrived, Jenessa volunteered that she wanted to cook the lunch. We all agreed immediately since we all know that Jenessa can cook way more delish than the three of us (even though I’m studying HRM, Jenessa is still the “Cook Diva”, as what we always called her when we’re still kids). We’re genuinely having a lot of fun the whole time, especially after we ate our lunch, we’ve watched movies and talked about a lot of girl’s stuffs hahaa. Until Jenessa decided to go ahead because she still need to go back to school for her exam. Becca stayed a little longer and even had her nails polished by Cassidy. As always, we waited for Maddison and Nadia to arrive but, again, they didn’t. So, we decided to postpone our “Chubby Bunny” challenge because it was getting dark already and Becca also need to go. While she was passionately waiting for her ex-boyfriend to fetch her up *clears throat*, the oh-so-fashionably late, Maddison, decided to show up with a big great smile. Just great. More chit-chats and gossips and we also updated our disco plan this saturday. By 8pm, Maddison and I walked home together since her house is just next to mine.
So, that’s all for today, ladies and gents. A lot more had happen during this day but I don’t think I can still be able to type the rest. My fingers are totally numb and tired already, and my brain is totally empty. So, goodbye and have a good Wednesday night.
Toodles, bitches!
xoxo,
JLa

10 years ago today we were introduced to a rag tag group of losers who, with a song in their hearts, were just looking for a place to belong as they made their way through high school in Nowhereville, Ohio. We met a young teacher trying to rediscover his passion for teaching. We came across your usual high school jocks and cheerleaders, we had our first run-in with a slightly scary, slightly crazy cheerleading coach, and we heard that iconic song for the first time closing out the episode.
Yes today marks 10 years since Glee’s pilot aired. How little we knew then the impact this show about a high school glee club that was littered with song and dance numbers that ran the gamut from top 40 pop to rap to classic rock to Broadway staples would have on our lives. And it’s not just our lives that it changed, it also changed the TV landscape… bringing musicals back to TV, opening up mainstream TV to LGBT issues, and raising awareness of issues from the value of arts education to texting and driving.
Let’s take a look at where the cast are now.
Dianna Agron – Quinn Fabray
Credit: FOX
Credit: Dia Dipasupil/Getty Images North America
Dianna became a household name as the Queen Bee head cheerleader Quinn Fabray with the seemingly picture perfect life… little did we know from that very first episode. Following her character’s high school graduation at the end of season 3, Dianna only appeared in a handful of episodes for the rest of Glee’s run. Since landing Glee, Dianna has had a number of film roles. They include The Hunters (2011), I Am Number Four (2011), The Family (2013), Zipper (2015), Bare (2015), and The Crash (2017). She also made her London theatre debut as Dahlia in the play McQueen in 2015. Dianna married Mumford & Sons’ Winston Marshall in 2016.
Chris Colfer – Kurt Hummel
Credit: FOX
Credit: Chris Colfer/Instagram
Chris was a cherub-faced 19-year-old when Ryan Murphy created the role of Kurt Hummel for him and just like his character, Chris is not taking ‘no’ for an answer and forging his own career as a storyteller. Chris won a Golden Globe for best supporting actor for his portrayal of the fashion-forward countertenor in 2011. During the Glee 2011 hiatus, Chris wrote and starred in the film Struck by Lightning. Chris adapted the film’s script into a novel, which was published in November 2012. While working on the Struck and during breaks in the Glee Live! in Concert! tour through North America, the UK and Ireland, Chris was working on his draft for The Land of Stories: The Wishing Spell, the first in his fantasy children’s series and earning him his first New York Times Bestseller’s list entry. The novel has spawned five sequels, two picture books and a couple of companion books, not to mention a number of other Bestseller’s list entries. It was announced last year that the first book was being adapted for film. Chris will not only serve as writer and executive producer, but will also make his directorial debut on the project. He also released his second Young Adult novel – Stranger than Fanfiction – in 2017. Although his writing has kept Chris largely busy since Glee wrapped, he has had a guest spot on Hot in Cleveland and guest starred in Absolutely Fabulous: The Movie.
Jane Lynch – Sue Sylvester

When Glee debuted 10 years ago, Jane Lynch was probably the best-known cast member. It’s hard to imagine anyone else in cheer coach and Will Schuester/Glee club antagonist Sue Sylvester. Jane had some of the best one-liners throughout the series, with many still littering social media today. From 2013, Jane has hosted NBC’s game show Hollywood Game Night (on which a number of her Glee castmates have appeared) for which she was nominated for an Emmy for Outstanding Host in 2018. That same year was also nominated for Outstanding Guest Actor for her role in The Marvelous Mrs Maisel. Jane executive produced and starred in the comedy web series Dropping the Soap, earning an Outstanding Actress in a Short Form Comedy or Drama Series Emmy nomination for her performance. Her autobiography, Happy Accidents was published in 2011, and Jane returned to the stage, making her Broadway debut as Miss Hannigan for a limited engagement in 2013 in the Annie revivial and touring her cabaret show, See Jane Sing, which debuted in 2015.
Jayma Mays – Emma Pilsbury
Credit: FOX
Credit: NBC
Jayma played the germaphobe McKinley High guidance counselor, who always had a motivational leaflet on hand for any occasion. Her infatuation with Will Schuester provided her with much angst in the first few seasons, but her patience and long-suffering was finally rewarded, notwithstanding her runaway bride escapade. Jayma starred alongside Neil Patrick Harris in the two Smurf movies and had lead roles in the TV series The Millers (2013-2015) and Trial & Error (2017-2018). Jayma and husband Adam Campbell welcomed their son, Jude in August 2016.
Kevin McHale – Artie Abrams
Credit: FOX
Credit: Roc Nation
Former boy band member, Kevin took on the role of wheelchair bound Artie Abrams. Since Glee wrapped in 2015, Kevin spent some time in the UK hosting the comedy panel show Virtually Famous for its first three seasons. He also played supporting roles in the independent film Boychoir and the docudrama miniseries When We Rise, which detailed the history of US LGBT rights advocacy from the 1970s to the 2010s. On the music front, Kevin joined fellow Glee star Darren Criss in Katy Perry’s celeb-filled video for her 2011 hit “Last Friday Night “(T.G.I.F.)” and has recently my working on new solo work, with his song “Help Me Now” released at the end of March. Kevin can also be heard every Thursday with best friend and Glee co-star Jenna Ushkowitz on their podcast Showmance – part of the Ladygang Network, of which fellow co-star Becca Tobin is co-creator of.
Lea Michele – Rachel Berry
Credit: FOX
Credit: Axelle/Bauer-Griffin/FilmMagic
Lea starred as the Broadway-obsessed, New Directions-lead diva, Rachel Berry. Following Glee’s end, Lea joined Ryan Murphy’s new Fox comedy horror series, Scream Queens. Lea played Hester Ulrich for the show’s two seasons. In 2017 she starred as Valentina Barella in ABC’s ill-fated sitcom The Mayor, which despite positive critical acclaim, was cancelled after one season. Lea made her feature film debut in 2011’s New Year’s Eve. Lea has released two studio albums: Louder (2014) and Places (2017), and has recently teased work beginning on a new album. She promoted Places in 2017 with the mini tour An Intimate Evening with Lea Michele, which took her to nine cities in the US as well as Toronto, Canada and London, UK. She teamed up with fellow Glee-alum Darren Criss for the LM/DC Tour in 2018, which saw the pair perform across North America, the UK and Ireland. Lea has also penned two books: the New York Times Bestseller Brunette Ambition and You First: Journal Your Way to Your Best Life. Lea married president of clothing brand AYR, Zandy Reich earlier this year.
Cory Monteith – Finn Hudson
Credit: FOX
Credit: rederick M. Brown/Getty Image
Cory played the lovable giant Finn Hudson, McKinley’s star quarterback who also slayed it on the drums and could nail any classic rock song. While working on Glee, Canadian native starred in Monte Carlo and Sisters & Brothers, both were released in 2011. Cory made no secret of his struggles with addiction, both before and during Glee. Cory was found dead in a Vancouver hotel in July 2013. His two films, All The Wrong Reasons and McCanick were released posthumously. The cast and crew paid tribute to both Cory and Finn in the season 5 episode, “The Quarterback”.
Matthew Morrison – Will Schuester

The role of McKinley High’s inept Spanish teacher who revives the glee club was played by Matthew Morrison. Matt released his first solo studio album in 2011. The self-titled album was followed up in 2013 with the release of Where It All Began, a collection of Broadway standards. Matt also starred in The Muppets (2011) and the film adaptation of bestselling book, What To Expect When You’re Expecting (2012). Matt returned to the Broadway stage in 2015, performing the title role of J.M. Barrie in the new musical Finding Neverland. The role earned him two Broadway.com Audience Awards: Favorite Actor in a Musical and Favorite Onstage Pair (with Laura Michelle Kelly). She starred as Addaperle, the Good Witch of the North, in NBC’s live performance of The Wiz in 2015. Mark released the studio album Pipe Dreams in 2010 where it received modest success reaching 29 on the US Indie chart. In 2013 Mark was accused of sexual battery, which was settled out of court. Since Glee he has starred in Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon: Sword of Destiny and the hit 2018 film Crazy Rich Asians. With a failed audition for Finn Hudson behind him, Darren Criss was cast as rival glee club Dalton Academy’s lead singer, Blaine Anderson, in season 2’s sixth episode, “Never Been Kissed”. Initially a short guest stint as a role model-type character for Kurt, the chemistry between Darren and Chris Colfer and the fan response to both Darren and his debut song “Teenage Dream” soon saw him join the regular cast. Darren made his Broadway debut in a three week stint as J. Pierrepont Finch in How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying in January 2012. He went straight from Glee into rehearsals for Broadway’s Hedwig and the Angry Inch, taking the stage for 12-weeks in 2015. He reprised the role for the San Francisco and LA legs of the US tour in 2016. He has starred in the films Girl Most Likely (2012) and the upcoming WWII drama Midway. The film All You Ever Wished For, which was filmed straight after his first Hedwig run and received limited cinema release, will be available on DVD from next month. Darren teamed up with Ryan Murphy again as Andrew Cunanan in The Assassination of Gianni Versace: American Crime Story, a role which won him a slew of awards in the past award season including the Emmy, Golden Globe and SAG for Best Actor in a Limited Series.
Darren’s first solo tour, Listen Up, played to sold out venues in Glee’s 2013 summer hiatus. He formed the band Computer Games with his brother Chuck last year. They released their debut EP Lost Boys Life and played a few concerts around the US and in Mexico. They are set to release some new tracks over the next few months. Darren released his second solo EP Homework at the end of 2017. He toured with co-star Lea Michele throughout 2018 as well as performed intimate solo sets in London and Sydney. Darren realised a long-held dream in 2015, with the launch of Elsie Fest – a Broadway and pop music festival. The festival has been held annually in New York City. Darren married long-time girlfriend Mia Swier earlier this year. They opened the piano bar Tramp Stamp Granny’s in LA last year.

If you’re familiar with this blog, you know I love supporting my favourite beauty influencers with every collaboration they do. I’ve been following Shayla for years, continuously rooting for her success like yasssss sis, get it! She has secured the bag been doing big things with her collabs with major companies such as Tarte (my review is right here) and Maybelline, and has now launched a collection with one of my faves, Colourpop. Can I get a “yasssssss” for all this black girl magic or nah?
What’s in the collection?
Tumblr media
The SHAYLA X COLOURPOP collection includes:
16-piece Perception powder eyeshadow palette ($23)
Neat Freak Ultra Glossy Lip ($6)
3 Creme Lux Lipsticks (OOUUUU!, QUICKIE & C’MON SIS) ($7/each)
2 Luster Dust Loose Highlighters (Boomin’ & Pose) ($7/each)
Tumblr media
This collection was pretty cool in that Colourpop had various bundle options: we were able to purchase the PR collection ($75), the entire collection, and lipstick bundles.
My thoughts
Tumblr media
Naturally, I bought the PR collection because I’m extra and wanted the beautiful packaging and all the excitement, however, I was slightly disappointed to see there wasn’t even a picture of Shayla in the box (especially because the shots from the promo shoot were straight fireeeee), but whatevs… The packaging was still lit.
PERCEPTION Pressed Powder Shadow Palette
Tumblr media
This is 16 pan palette has a mix of mattes and metallic shadows like nothing I’ve ever seen before. A great mix of warm and cool tones that can take you from day to night. You’d think with the random pops of colour this would be a limited palette but not at all! There are so many different looks you can create with it.
Tumblr media
Across the board, the quality of the shadows was impressive. The mattes were pigmented yet easily blendable; the shimmer shades were super pigmented and applied smoothly. There is some kickback with the shadows perhaps due to the pigment intensity but nothing unbearable. The mattes are easy to pack on, then blend – but bear in mind, a little goes a long way. The shimmers apply best with your finger when packed on the centre of the lid, or with a synthetic flat brush. Overall, the unique mix of colours and finishes work surprisingly well together.
And finally, I absolutely love the fact that this palette has a mirror! Ugh! Shayla girl, you know what’s really good!

NEAT FREAK Ultra Glossy Lip
Tumblr media
This is described as a “high shine gloss with full-coverage, metallic pearl finish in a moisturising, and non-sticky comfortable formula.”
Tumblr media
The base is a warm and translucent, with specks of gold and pink glitter. The glitter is noticeable without being too chunky. It’s beautiful and ideal for all skin tones in my opinion. Neat Freak has actually become my go-to gloss for all lipsticks – especially nudes and neutrals. I’ve worn it so regularly the writing on the package has faded away – I just ordered a back-up!!!! It is long-wearing, and fades away leaving bits of glitter on your lips. The consistency is smooth and it isn’t too sticky or tacky, nor does it settle into any fine lines on my lips. I’m also grateful that it wears without leaving that white, chalky residue around the rim of the mouth (especially at the inner corners – hello white squall!). The high-shine gives the appearance of fuller, plumper lips. All in all, this product gets an A+ from me.
DUPE: Maybelline’s Just a Glimmer
Tumblr media
OOUUUU! Créme Lux Lipstick
Described as a “warm peach,” this creamy-matte lipstick was a colour that I was not in the least excited for. I love peachy-nudes, but this orange-peach just seemed not destined to work for my complexion. This colour definitely pulls more tangerine than peach on my skin. It applies fairly smoothly, but it quickly settles into my fine lines. This is definitely one to avoid if your lips are dry and crackly. For my complexion, I find it works best with a brown lipliner (MAC Cork or Colourpop BFF3): concentrate it in the centre of the lip. This combo also looks great when topped with Neat Freak.
DUPE: Bobbi Brown Baby Peach
QUICKIE Créme Lux Lipstick
As previously proclaimed, I love a peachy-nude!!! At first I truly thought Shayla played me – I was like which black girl is wearing this ashy mess?! Boy, was I wrong! This satin lipstick is deep peach with warm undertones. Just like Oouuuu!, this lipstick applied smoothly, however it didn’t settle into any lines. The colour is fully opaque with one swipe and is pretty long-wearing. Quickie paired with BFF3 lip pencil and Neat Freak is the nude combination I’ve been consistently rocking over the past 3 weeks. I am absolutely in love!
Tumblr media
DUPE: Too Faced Melted Liquified Long Wear Lipstick in Melted Nude
C’MON SIS Créme Lux Lipstick
I was honestly. a little underwhelmed when I first saw this “soft pinky brown”, but this turned out to be so beautiful on my complexion. It’s such a great everyday colour, but can be paired with a dramatic eye look for a sexy night out on the town. It is a warm, rosy plum with a satin finish that applies more smoothly than the other two lipsticks. It wears super long without getting uncomfortable and doesn’t settle into any fine lines. This is my fave formula of the three lippies.
DUPE: Maybelline Touch of Spice
Tumblr media
BOOMIN’ Luster Dust Loose Highlighter
A “peachy gold” highlighter, Boomin’ pulls more light gold with a warm undertone. It has a soft metallic sheen with a pearl finish. I’m not a fan of loose highlighters because I find them to be messy and not as easy to control as pressed ones, but this one was so finely milled that it applied and blended with ease. I prefer to use a fan brush (Morphe M601) to apply the product to my cheekbones and a detailer brush to highlight my nose and cupid’s bow. This highlighter worked for my skin tone, however I would not necessarily use it on a darker skin tone. This is ideal for medium to medium-deep skin tones.
Tumblr media
DUPE: Laura Geller Baked Gelato Swirl Illuminator in Gilded Honey
POSE Luster Dust Loose Highlighter
Described as a “warm copper”, Pose is perfect to have your melanin poppin’ like the goddess you are. It is a warm-toned almost rose gold highlighter with a pearlescent finish that applied like a dream. The loose formula is very easy to blend so while a little goes a long way, it’s almost fool-proof. This would be a great bronzer or blush for lighter skin tones. My favourite way to rock Pose is with a hint of Boomin’ on top.
DUPE: Becca Rose Gold Highlighter
Tumblr media
Overall, I was very impressed with this collaboration – everything was super pigmented and high quality. My least favourite (which I still like, btw) would be C’mon Sis lipstick because it settles into my fine lines way too much. If you can only grab a few things from the collection, I highly recommend the eyeshadow palette, the lip gloss and Boomin’ highlighter – those are definitely the most unique products.
