Belated Jaime x Brienne Week Speed Fic Recs

Sorry to bother you, but what is Summerhal Secrets in regards to Dunk and Daella? It sounds interesting.

It's no bother at all! Summerhall's Secrets is a fic written by BecauseBraime, where Duncan the Tall takes Barristan Selmy as his squire after he enters his first tourney as a mystery knight at 10, and this single event creates a lot of divergences in the canon from 247 to after 300.

The Dunk/Daella takes a good place in the story (there's lots of hurt/comfort with them) and impacts many people through time (especially Barristan and the Tarths)

It's a great fic, and if you like it, there's also a second part, The Crown's Secrets (with Jaime/Brienne and Barristan/Genna)

Hi! I'm sorry to have such a vague clue, but here goes. Lol. Do you know of a fix fic with a scene in Winterfell where Sansa comes into her room at Winterfell and Jaime is in her bed. Sansa asks her to go to Kings Landing to (I think?) get Arya. Jaime tells her no, and Brienne silences him with a look. I believe both Brienne AND Jaime end up going.

Ah, yes that is very specific and vague at the same time! At first I thought it might be A Reason to Stay by BecauseBraime or something else by the author, but nothing seems to fit.

I don't remember reading something like that, I did look around some more, but I can't find it, I am sorry!

I hope someone else can help!

Currently Reading:  So many lovely Braime fics! I love starting every day with whatever BecauseBraime is offering - at the moment it is "The Past Shapes But Does Not Define."

I just started the audio book of Patrick Rothfuss' "The Name of The Wind" after being enchanted by his short stories "The Lightning Tree" and "The Slow Regard of Silent Things" via Audible. (Have you all heard Gwendoline Christie narrate two stories in the "Rogues" anthology?!? So captivating! That's what led me to Tree and Things.)

Favorite song: Oof. Too hard! By which artist? For what context? I love the Dave Matthews Band. I have been known to listen to Peter Gabriel's "Solsbury Hill" on a loop, as well as George Michael's "Fantasy" and Queen's "Best Friend." Last night in a dream I was listening to the original "Freedom" from Wham! Totally random, but I do love that song.

Last movie: Ventured back to the theater for "In The Heights."

Last series: Currently watching "Loki." Looking forward to watching the last two hours of "Mare of Eastown" and finally seeing "Ted Lasso" this week.

Sweet, savory or spicy: Savory. I like a little kick, but spicy is not for me.

Craving: Sustained motivation. I'm feeling too uncentered and unenergized lately. I really want to hold on to the times I feel determined and active and be able to tap into them daily.
