ok i just saw the new dr strange and i ahve a theory

america only started being able to control her powers after she touched the book that gives you the ability to defeat your enemy, right?

and it’s the antithesis of the book of evil or whatever

and people get affected just from touching the evil book

so it would make sense that she got some power from touching it
