ThrowingBack ThrowingUp in Kyoto 🇯🇵 c. 1994. 🇮🇱 Juggling Festival Next Week! Pre-Contortion I was all Juggling & Magic, from 13 years old when my family moved from Michigan to San Diego. Balboa Park Street Performers and Brad Burt’s Magic Shop fueled my love for performance and massively indebted to my parents for supporting my habits driving me everywhere and balls, clubs and finally torches for high school graduation. Almost all my Jr/Sr High school jobs were performing: birthday parties, Sea World, restaurant tableside close up magic. Academics happened, UC Berkeley happened, a Fulbright to Kyoto happened and through it all always juggled. This shot was taken at The Metro Club, where Non Hetro at The Metro happened and performances with Dumb Type happened. I’m really excited about this Juggling Festival...I’ve been to Magic Conventions, taught and performed at Contortion and Pole Conventions and now back to one of my first loves just to go to explore past present future...all coming together in that magical way we ❤️ (oh yeah...that silver shirt?
