Last couple days left to shop over at FMD!

I'll be closing for a Christmas break on Wednesday 7th December at 5PM GMT. With plans to reopen on Monday 26th December with pre-orders for new products!

These pin designs are inspired by A:LTA and repeating Kaledescope imagery. Each pin is themed around an important character from the show, their element as well as an Avatar State pin (with glow in the dark arrow!) to bring the whole set together!

Perfectly trained to be an outstanding Princess, she has the grace and sensitivity of one paired with the strike and precision of martial arts and bending skills of a Fire Nation Royal. Rather than fake, there has been no confirmed or official source aside from AvatarNews who has posted substantially and grievously wrong information before. AvatarNews is claiming they have sources both at Paramount and AvatarStudios but neither Paramount nor AvatarStudios themselves have confirmed this. And it's weird that this hasnt been blowing up even bigger considering so many people love Avatar

Ah! Okay okay, gotcha. So it's very likely not true or very inaccurate.

Yeah I've definitely known them to post bad information like you said, just not in a way that seemed intentionally misleading. And I guess with that article being so much , it seemed like it had to be intentionally misleading if it isn't real

But you're right in that it should be a bigger story, but it's like it had no reach 🤔

We'll see, huh, they also claim to have more news coming tomorrow that supposedly clear things up

Okay, so, this is @avatarstudios, but I want them to make the next avatar tv show about the second avatar. Wan's successor. The little air nation child that follows after him. I want that. I want to see Wan and Raava and the new avatar all being very confused and maybe the child freaking out a little bit because one day they're just a peaceful little monk minding their own business amidst this war going on, and the next they're in danger, life threatened, and they glow up and scare the bejesus out of everyone around them, and then they panic, cause "oh spirits, what just happened?!?!" And Wan is suddenly there, old, confused, trying to figure out why he's suddenly appeared in front of this child who is decidedly not from the spirit world; Raava isn't much help cause she didn't know she'd be moving on to a new person--let alone a new born baby--and have to watch that mortal thing grown into a person.

Idk, there's some kinks to it. I just want to watch the confusion and the learning curve and the mentor/apprentice relationship, the bonding, all that ooey-gooey sweetness. I just...I crave it.

#wan thought hed figured it all out during his life time #and then the afterlife throws him a curveball #id like the child to be a girl #but i dont actually have a preference #i want the funky airbender tattoos from wans time #i want raava to be indignant about being merged with the body of a baby #and being sassy with wan and the child #i want the child to be meditating and then suddenly have the earth under them raise up and theyve just got a knack for earth bending #i want their community to be so confused about why they can bend more than air #and they start telling them about that one guy who use to be able to do that too #but he died years ago #and then BOOM #wan appears #i cannot express how strongly i crave the confusion they would all be feeling #i want it #i NEED it #avatar the last airbender #legend of korra #atla #lok #bhndthhd

Costume Title: Raava’s Day Out

Costume Description: Re-creation, The Legend of Korra (part of the Avatar The Last Airbender universe)

The Raava costume/puppet is a combination of a wood, plastic, and wire frame, with a hand-painted fabric overlay which has a mesh panel for visibility by the wearer. The overlay has an outer layer of chiffon to add a ghost-like affect, with curling tendrils along the edges. When worn by a person instead of being used as a puppet, the costume includes a skirt, leggings, and split-toe shoes (the only part not made by hand). The Bumju plushie is made of fleece, felt, cotton batting, and faux fur, with wire and embroidered chiffon ears, button eyes, and a hook at the back for using it also as a puppet.

Bio: Kathryn Henzler is an award-winning designer and creator of theatrical costumes, cosplay, skating costumes, and geek couture. She has exhibited at conventions and art museums and is a four-time Her Universe Fashion Show contestant. In her day-to-day, she is also a Japanese-English translator, composer/musician/audio engineer, actress, activist, archer, and adult figure skater.
