something about "your anger isn't scary to me" is making me so emotional. something about as above so below, cassandra as a mirror of kristen. something about "I've been dropping the ball a lot lately" and kristen's struggles with adhd. something about teenage girls and rage and fury and justice. something about adaine's vision of ruining fallinel and the sylvaire looking for revenge. something about sadness and doubt and anger and love. something about "I choose to understand" being the absolute core theme of d20 in general. something something.

so much happened in this whole episode but i’m still on fig infiltrating ruben’s dream, making it look like the place where his friend was murdered, and then disguising herself as kipperlilly & repeatedly saying different variants of “somebody needs to take the fall for this, and it’s not going to be me. it’s going to be you.” while adaine as the elven oracle shows up next to her. can you imagine waking up from that, the idea of a horrible truth being pinned on you by your friend to save her own skin while the personification of fate and destiny stands there, almost as a promise that this is GOING to happen to you. we don’t even know if this kid is guilty. my god.

Levi is so clingy in the morning-
As soon as you move to get up, or your alarm goes off and you mumble “….time to get up.” Levi’s arms wrap around you tighter and he lets out a huffy little sigh…not actually saying anything, just trying to keep you in bed. You’re so warm and the blankets are so comfy…..he know it's time for you to get up, both of you actually.
But he doesn’t want to lose you, not yet. he knows the second you get out of bed he has to share you for the rest of the day, fighting for your attention.
And it’s just not fair!! He’ll miss your warmth and he always craves your attention, your scent, your touch- just you. Even if he knows he’ll see you later it’s not the same. so every morning he tries to keep you in bed just a little longer…..just keep your attention on him for a few more minutes.
and you know he’ll do it every morning so you just sigh and kiss his forehead, “Come on, guppy….I have to go….”
"No…..not yet….just…just five more minutes… please…”
….well- five more minutes can’t hurt, can it?

you have to love people for real. and that means loving them as people who have flaws, and will annoy you or get on your nerves some times. treating them like a toy or product you can throw away when you get bored or upset is not acceptable. it's what we've been conditioned to do, but it makes the world worse.

Here's something to think about when it comes to age discourse in Baldur's Gate 3. All character in our party are adults, and have you seen their voice actors?
Neil Newborn, who plays Astarion, is 45 years old.
Jason Isaacs, who plays Lord Gortash (!!), is 60 years old.
I'd guess that Dave Jones, who plays Halsin, is also around in his 50s? I couldn't really find much info, but he's a perfect guy for the role. Even his personal description of his voice states: "naturally confident, friendly voice with warm, earthy tones". The description alone even SOUNDS like Halsin.
Devora Wilde, who plays Lae'zel, is 33 years old.
Jennifer English, who plays Shadowheart, is 28 years old, which I think is very fitting since you can see how Shadowheart is supposed to be younger than all of them. Jennifer's voice is soft and genuinely suits Shadowheart. (UPD: I stand corrected. Shadowheart is supposed to be around 35-40 years since she's half-elf, which makes Lae'zel the youngest of them.)
My point is: there are no children in the party & the actors are chosen accordingly. It's wild to me that people keep talking about characters looking 'too old' when it's a natural 'being alive and growing up' experience, and not some kind of a problem.
