I have a Oc who's wish is to "live an exciting life and to never be forgotten" but I can't quite think of an ability to go along with that, that isn't too vague of obvious.

I love vague wishes because you now have a chance to delve into what else the character has to offer! The wish is only step one and I think that the abilities can always be expanded to encompass what the goal of the wish was.

Basically, your character wished to have a better life, a life she believed was worth living. All her powers have to do is vaguely relate to that ideal. For her, would it be more exciting to have her attacks be more powerful or she could use a wide variety of different weapons.

Or maybe her wish was more about meeting other people and having others care about her. If that’s the case, then her powers may make others come to her aid more often or influence others to act the way she wants.

It all depends on how your character views the world!

y'all are absolutely free to use tumblr however you please but I want redditors to know that they could, hypothetically, start a sideblog about a particular topic, add moderators to it, turn on submissions (and asks), make an "about" page laying out rules and such, and create a good tagging system. If you want it to be a bit more familiar.

Just found you, luv it. So I've got a magical-boy and his wish was to be loved. I've thought that he'd fall into despair because he would start to question if people Truly liked him and would blame himself. His witch form would be called the "Teen Idle Witch" and the story is the witch adores his groupies but quickly becomes board of them and "discards" them after the show. I don't what to do for a weapon tho, any ideas?

Something that really helps me with deciding on weapons is spending some time thinking about what the character’s vibe is and what they would look coolest with. If his theme is that he’s a prince archetype, heroic and powerful, then a sword, shield, or lance would look great. If he’s more rebellious, then maybe daggers or Molotov cocktails fit him more. If he’s more soft and sweet, then something less weapon-y may be more his style, like exploding stuffed animals or a camera that does damage by taking pictures.

Since his wish was to be loved, then I would consider what that love looks like to him. It seems like he basically ended up being famous (the teen idol reference suggests that) so consider what his idea of being popular is!
