Random Headcanons from Random Characters in 'The Girl in IT' Pt. 3 - Minor Characters

Have you always wondered how Tess came to work at Miller Construction Group? Or how Ellie ended up being adopted by Joel? Here are the headcanons for the rest of the gang at Miller Construction Group! Read Joel's and Sugar's lists!

Tess Servopoulos:

Tess actually met the Miller Brothers by chance. She was fresh out of a divorce and went to Austin on a whim- they met at a pool hall. She did have a minor attraction to Joel - before he met Sugar, but their tempers and clashing personalities never allowed a romantic relationship to flourish. Joel helps Tess by giving her a Job, which gives her the fresh start she was desperately searching for.

For those curious, she and Joel have never been intimate with each other, not even a kiss!

She IS slightly jealous of Sugar, though. I think it's more because everyone sees a different side of Joel with her around, which solidifies the fact that Joel never saw Tess as a potential romantic partner.

Joel also helped Tess further her career by paying for her MBA.

Tess lives in Joel's old house (in the show). It is completely renovated, of course.

Tommy Miller (& Maria):

Tommy is the Construction Superintendent for Miller Construction Group. He's the man on the ground, managing the project from the site.

Before Sugar, Joel would never watch porn at work, but Tommy would. He once disabled the entire company server with a virus, and their old IT specialist, Gloria, subsequently quit afterward from all of the stress.

Tommy would sometimes "spy" on Sugar before she started to work for the company. If he saw her in passing, he would mention it to Joel, asking him why he just doesn't get his head out of his ass and just talk to you.

Maria is the official "office mom". She runs the odd errands, offers to pick up lunch for people, and acts as a recon for Sarah. Like Connie, she knows everything that happens in the office.

Joel and Sugar are not the only ones who fool around in the office...

Sarah Miller:

Sarah is slightly younger than Sugar (Sugar is 36, Sarah is 32). Sarah was initially weirded out by this fact but being that her husband is older than her by ten years, she's a lot more open to her relationship with Joel. She also found an old Polaroid photo of Sugar in Joel's nightstand drawer once while looking for something, and she tells herself that she won't get in the way of her father's happiness.

She is married and has one child, making Joel a grandfather. Sarah's husband also works at MCG as an Electrician. They had a secret romance - Joel had walked into her office, catching them making out which led to him punching him out. Her eventual husband then spends a year trying to convince Joel that he is in love with Sarah, and only ends up relenting when he witnesses a sweet moment between the two of them, realizing how happy Sarah is with him. Joel still gives her husband a hard time, though.

Sarah kept her last name after she got married.

She has a bachelor's degree in communications.

It is rumored that Sarah was only placed as the head of HR only because she had to keep cleaning Tommy's messes (because let's not forget- he watches porn at work too), and Joel didn't feel comfortable with an outsider handling their business.

Ellie Williams-Miller:

Ellie moved to Austin with her Guardian, Marlene. Marlene was hired as the Head Architect for MCG, so Ellie was always hanging around the office in her youth. When Marlene suddenly passed away when she was 14, Joel felt like he owed it to Marlene to adopt Ellie. This happened five years after Joel met Sugar, which makes Ellie 19 going on 20 in TGIIT (I did age her up a bit).

Ellie loves music and noticed Sugar with her Sennheiser Headphones in her office, naturally, she waltzed into her office asking about it. They bonded with their love of music - Ellie feels comfortable enough with Sugar to talk to her about her problems. Sugar is the person she comes out to first, asking her for advice on how to approach Joel with the topic.

Ellie has a crush on Riley, an engineering student working under Bill.

When Ellie finds out about Sir Bubbles (Sugar's cat), she begs Joel to help her make a cat tree for Sugar's birthday. This cat tree is massive.

Ellie is tattooed, just like how she is in TLOU 2. She got her tattoo at the same time Joel got his - she drew the Sunflower that eventually ended up on his hand.

If Ellie didn't apprentice for MCG she would like to be a tattoo artist.

Bill & Frank:

They are married.

Bill teaches a self-defense class for women, including weapon handling.

Frank is an interior designer.

Frank has a secret group chat with all of his fellow gossips in the office, including Maria and Connie.

Bill cooks for all of the company meetings and seminars. He refuses to be compensated every time.

To my fellow Willem Dafoe simps and writers I have some ideas/requests from some of his characters if anyone is interested in writing them. It would make me the happiest person in the world please 🙏😁

The following ideas/requests below:

For Joe Cribbens from Dead for a Dollar the reader is Max Borland’s daughter and is a hunter like her father but more young, beautiful and kind. When she meets the infamous Joe Cribbens in prison he is smitten by her.

For Bobby from The Florida Project I’ve had this idea in my head that the female reader is young and works as a maid at the motel and watches over the kids sometimes and that Bobby appreciates how hardworking she is. They have a crush on each other and end up confessing their feelings to each other and it leads to smut (if you are comfortable with that).

For Raven from Streets of Fire I was thinking that Raven x female reader where he kidnaps the reader who is opposite of him sweet kind and understanding and wears cute dresses. He takes her back to his gang’s hideout and within time they grow romantic feelings for each other and it turns into smut.

For Vance from The Loveless like Streets of Fire the female reader is opposite of him. She is a regular at the diner in the beginning of the film always reading and drinking a milkshake and when Vance enters and both set eyes for each other it’s love at first sight/opposites attract. They get to know each and as the reader hangs out with him and his friends for the day, it becomes to much that they can’t keep their hands off each other leading to smut.

For The Writer from The Night and The Moment I was thinking that the female reader is like Belle from Beauty and the Beast who loves to read and is opposite to all the other women from the film. The Writer becomes intrigued by her and tries to charm but she keeps pushing him away and eventually falls in love with her. You can include smut if you like to this one.

For The Electritian from Basquiat the female readers power goes out in her apartment and is in need of an electrician. When he comes over to fix the readers power it’s love at first sight. As he is fixing her power they get to know each other and he eventually asks the reader out for a date maybe to an art gallery and when they come back to readers apartment they make love to each other.

For John Geiger from Speed 2 on the cruise he sees the female reader from a distance with her family who is cute and innocent and becomes enchanted by her. During the heist he kidnaps her and they are able to escape with the diamonds to an island and it turns to a Stockholm Syndrome relationship.

For the Prison Guard (whatever you want to name him) from Cry-Baby the female reader is a cute and sweet nurse at the prison and she has a crush on the Prison Guard. While she is treating a prisoner from a fight the prisoner tries to hurt the reader but the Prison Guard comes to save her like a knight in shining armor. After the incident she confesses her feelings for him and he returns the same feelings to her.

For Klaus from Life Aquatic of Steve Zissou I was thinking that the female reader works with Jane as a photographer. When they meet with the Zissou crew at the beach in the night it’s pretty much love at first sight for Klaus when he sees the reader. And as her and Jane travel with the crew their relationship starts to develop into more romantic

For Barillo from Once Upon A Time In Mexico the readers father has a debt to pay him back but doesn’t have the money. He decides to visit the mansion along with the reader who is sweet, innocent and shy to tell Barillo he can’t pay him back, but once Barillo sets his eyes on the reader he knows how her father can pay him back by letting him marry his daughter/reader.

For Earl in Animal Factory the female reader is sent to prison for a crime she didn’t commit but it was actually her sister. But because she loves her family so much she decides to take her place. After the trial she is taken to the male prison instead of the female one because their is no more room for her. When she gets to the male prison where Earl is at because she is the only female she is harassed by the other inmates. Once Earl sets his eyes on the reader him and his crew do everything they can to protect and make her feel comfortable. As time goes by Earl and reader become more involved with each other and eventually she is moved from her solo cell to the cell where Earl is in.

For Dick McMahon from The Last Thing He Wanted the reader is a home nurse and is taking care of Dick that they start to fall in love with each during their time together.

For Gerhard Hardman from Murder on the Orient Express the reader is an artist/dancer and is on board the train where she meets Gerhard in there shared quarters. It’s love at first sight and during the journey they get to know each other and before they depart they decide to stay together.

For John Petty from Out of the Furnace the female reader is the younger sister of the Baze brothers very sweet, kind and has a crush on John. When she hears her brother is fighting for money again she heads to John office to please help her brother and when he agrees to help her, the reader kisses John that they end up confessing their feelings to each other.

For George Deckert from XXX State of the Union the reader is the president’s daughter and Deckert is both obsessed and possessive of her that his plan is to have her all to himself once his plan is succeeded.

I know this is probably a lot to ask for. I don’t expect all of these to be written, but I just wanted to put my thoughts out there. I would love if at least some of them were written but I know that’s not up to me. I apologize if I sound very demanding. I also apologize if some of these ideas/requests sound lame lol 😆.

TWD OC's: "The Micro Group"

Alrighty, and aside from a couple of more who come in earlier in TWD timeline, these are my main OC's!

Seth and Lucas Wilburn - Brothers who were separated from their parents during the panic and chaos amid society's fall and ended up in a safe zone with the rest of the gang that eventually was destroyed. Although the youngest, Seth was designated to carry the medical supplies and often made himself useful by attempting to decipher first aid manuals and delivering a healthy dose of unsolicited snark. Lucas was of a less intellectual sort but he made up for it in street smarts particularly in favor of keeping his baby brother safe.

Maile and Benjamin Hardy - Engaged Masters degree students who met during their undergraduate years when he was planning on studying botany and she wanted to pursue environmental law. While Ben could be considered the brains, Maile was more so put in the position to be the brawn. Yet, both were kindhearted individuals more often than not.

Rob Kahnwald - Ex-military turned car mechanic and one of the older members of the group, often butting heads with nearly everyone over everything—especially Tom—but has made it his personal mission to ensure the safety of Seth and Lucas since being with them in their original safe zone. In contrast to the rest of the group, he's very rough around the edges and perhaps the most hardened by the collapse of humanity.

Jeanine Waverly - Showjumper and horse breeder formerly married to a celebrity film director, trying to recover from the abuse of her marriage, the following very public and messy divorce, and the end of civilization. If everyone stopped asking her where they'd seen her before and underestimating her ability to survive, it would be too soon.

Tom Nemoto - Electrician by day and community theatre actor by night who was near the end of a performance of Sweeney Todd when all hell broke loose. Arguably the most calm, quiet, and level-headed of the group which has put him apprehensively in the position of the group's leader (up until Rob challenges his decisions). More often than not, Jimena could be found trailing behind him or at his side.

Jimena Marciel - The newest member of the group who was rescued by Tom from a violent and hostile community that kept her in a basement. It wasn't until after a while that she began to open up to the rest of the folks in the group and even still has a lot of trauma to work through that she neglects in favor of being no more than arms-length away from Tom.

I dddon’t have a concrete idea of how everything ought to play out post-canon with Mob but there are a few that I would like to have somebody else write for me because I certainly won’t put the work in.

One is where the kids grow up and enter uni/trade school as planned, get their degrees and certifications, enter the workforce without much incident. Ritsu takes maybe a psych or healthsci undergrad then goes into med school, Tome gets some kind of commerce degree with the intention of starting her own business, Shou…picks up some kind of short hands-on apprenticeship because he’s not sure if he’ll stick with it. Maybe he’s a line cook, maybe an electrician, something of the sort. Teruki of course does education, maybe combined degree with commerce.

Mob…his career path in the least sure of. He might do some temporary construction work before he chooses. I think he’d be good in public service, but not bureaucracy. Maybe education as well. Anyway, everyone buckles down and gets themselves into a good place without too much time for social lives. Graduation (even though it’s like 5-10 years between Shou getting his first full-time job and Ritsu) feels like a watershed. The kids come back to live at home in Seasoning after, to get their bearings. That’s when the friendships that have fallen into amicable distance spring back up.

In that town, there’s not a whole lot to do for people newly free of studying. Ritsu is away at school for longer than anyone else. Having put off schooling, Mob’s gotten a bit lonely with his friends away and has been hanging out with Shou (they’re friends but it’s a little awkward), S&S or the ex-Claw gang. Their friends come back one by one. So then things start to get moving for Mob again.

All that means is that when Teru moves back to town, Mob is in the social swing and Teru has the most free time of everyone with school breaks and such. They start seeing one another more often. It’s just by chance. Compound that over the extra years that Tome’s on the grind and Ritsu is away, they get close to the point of school besties. Common enough when you’re young but not when you’re older. Walking to work together or going over for movie nights on the weekends. It’s just something to do.

All the while there’s a sense of living out of one another’s pockets. When Mob needs something to do well of course he calls Teru. Still living at home, he ends up going over to Teru’s place a lot because most of his other friends live with their families. And if once or twice they sit very close to one another on the couch not touching as they watch First Love (2019), then that’s just how it is.

Then in the course of things Mob finally goes to school. Ritsu graduates, gets a residency, starts practice. Whatever was brewing between them breaks; they’re still connected to one another on the most basic level (the shaving incidents were formative for them both) but Teru is tied to the town and he’s far beyond mature enough not to follow Mob when he leaves. Charming Mob befriends some lovely young woman, she asks him out after a few years of inertia, and Teru meanwhile is content and fulfilled enough with his schoolkids and gaggle of friends that he doesn’t have the time for that whole dating thing.

In short. I think it’d be fun to have a future verse where Mob and Teru grow close in that pseudodating way you do with your school friends as a teenager, but by that point it’s too late for either of them to get impulsive about their relationship. The baggage they have of being a foundational part of each other’s life (good or bad) is something that keeps them from pursuing it, and once something disturbs that equilibrium they never come back to that point. Instead for the rest of their lives they thing ‘did we…no, I must be imagining it’ and they meet up every six months or so for a friendly visit. They don’t go over to each other’s houses alone. They have a feeling it would open up a box best left closed.

soooo i have some... ideas:tm: for skye in the next level

-when fridge ends up in ruby, and tells martha and skye he's gonna 'take the body for a test drive', martha immediately assumes that (due to ruby being a lot younger than both of fridge's previous avatars, and skye appearing like an adult at this point) they're gonna have sex

-also from that scene, when skye sees fridge in ruby's body, martha goes "skye, you're drooling" to which skye responds "i am?"

-when they're riding the camels, skye is on the second hump with her arms wrapped around fridge's shoulders. at one point she says "'m gonna fall asleep, you're like a pillow..."

-due to spencer messing with the game, skye picks up a lot of spencer's quirks and attitude. the gang notice that skye is a lot more cautious than before

-she also has better knowledge of video games as a whole due to spencer's dna and memories mixing with the game - while he still has those aspects on him, skye's able to use that to her advantage on multiple occasions

-she also ends up playing the field medic. while that is a role that could be broken, she mostly uses it to heal minor scrapes and never uses it to like ressurect anyone

-skye is introduced after the gang crash land in the desert, in the exact same way as she was introduced in the original, with fridge landing and looking up to see skye haloed by the sun. she even asks him if his mommy told him it was impolite to stare!

-at the end of the game, while she wants to return with the group, skye stays behind to take care of cyclone!milo

-however, she does end up missing her friends, and breaks out of the game, using the electrician and spencer's mom opening it as a way to free herself

Gene Kelly tours US Army hospitals to entertain troops during WWII

“The committee wanted me to organize a unit and go out on a planned itinerary of Army and Navy hospitals – some of them in out of the way places that had never been visited by Hollywood personalities,” he reports. “They intend making this hospital entertainment a post-war project, if possible…for the poor guys who are invalided, and who’ll think they’ve been forgotten.”

The committee picked five entertainers to go with Gene…juggler…pianist…singer…dancer…comedian.

“They were a swell bunch,” says Gene, “and wonderful entertainers. I built the show so that the boys in the hospitals could feel that they were seeing a regular Broadway revue. I sang with the girl singer and danced with the girl dancer, and I played in sketches, and m.cied the whole show.”…

“We were actually out only three weeks,” says Gene, “but we covered enough territory for six weeks. They were all one-night stands…We usually played three shows in the hospital’s auditorium, for an average of 550 boys per show, and then we would play all the wards for the fellows who were unable to leave their cots. It was wonderful playing to those fellows. Their enthusiastic applause did my hammy heart good. After playing to the electricians in Hollywood for two years it was swell having a real audience, not that I don’t like electricians.

“The schedule we had practically knocked us out after the first five days, but we managed to keep going on nervous energy. However, towards the end of the trip we were staggering around like dilapidated zombies…most of the time we rode day coaches and did our sleeping, if any, sitting bolt upright bundled up in overcoats and newspapers to ward off drafts that swept in straight off the North Pole. Seems that we were always getting off trains at some strictly unconventional hour, such as 5 A.M. and seems that it was always raining….We would be revived with gallons of hot coffee. And then we’d start our shows.”

“In the day coach going into Louisville,” he relates with a typical Kelly smile, “I heard two ladies across the aisle discussing me. ‘I think,’ said one of them, ‘I’ve seen that man in the movies. Wasn’t he in a picture with Judy Garland?’ ‘Now, listen, Nan,’ said the other one, ‘don’t be a fool. If he was a movie star would he be travelling on a day coach? Now I ask you. He’d have a private car, believe me.’ Her friend talked her right out of recognizing me,” laughed Gene.

“On the train from Cincinnati to Chicago we had a real touch of luxury – we had chair car reservations. I went to the diner for a bite to eat at noon and was put at a table with three soldiers. One of them recognized me, and after lunch asked me if I’d go up front to a coach where there were a hundred or more boys being sent to an embarkation port. I was kidding around with the boys, cracking a few jokes that were not too corny, I hoped – when suddenly it occurred to me that we ought to give them our regular show. I rushed back to the chair car to round up the gang and a few props. For a second I didn’t have the heart to wake them…But I explained about the kids in the front coach, and not one murmur of complaint out of the entire troupe. A swell bunch. I think that was one of our most successful shows. When the train would lurch around a curve we’d land in the laps of the boys. They’d yell with delight when it happened to one of the girls.”

When Gene returned to his wife and child… he looked pretty well shattered. “My wife decided I needed building up,” says Gene with a smile. “But when she saw me eat three weiner sandwiches and drink three beers for a midnight snack she said that anybody who could pack away all that wasn’t anywhere near a breakdown.”

how do you think charlies characterization could change if at all in seasons to come

Ok ive kinda been sitting on this one. I feel like im going to have a lot of trouble explaining what i want to say.

Judging from the entire show's backlog, the characters dont seem to have... see, i already cant figure out how to explain this. I want to say consistent personalities, but thats not true. Charlie is-

Ok fuck my brain is not working for this. At all.

You know how charlie can be split? He's dumb enough to drink a gallon of paint and torture a little person bc he thinks hes a leprechaun, he can't read english (thought at one point he certainly could cause he did graduate), he doesn't know what a calculator is, he asks people about their spaghetti policy, and yet he can do whatever it is with charlie work, he can do mac bang's dennis's mom, he can rule the (virtual) world, he can speak irish and read and write it (but still calls it gibberish), he can create his home alone scenario, he can fix plumbing and hes not an electrician but he can figure out his own creative solutions (kind of like how a child solves his own problems). Think of the pizza box hat.

I think this is all to say that his characterization in this isn't new or unusual and im not sure there is much to change. Hes already had issues accepting he has/had no father (but fuck man that scene runs deep), he had those comments about leaving the gang, but they proved themselves to him and he remembered why he loves them (and america). Also, just from other season finales, they dont usually change much. They just exist to leave us all wanting more and to give each character their moment (dee trauma when?)

But i can see his and franks relationship changing, kind of similar to how it changed when charllie found out frank could be his dad. The occasional joke and one-liner about it, but overall it'll be the same. Im prepared to eat my words though. I honestly want to eat my words. If season 16 comes and it turns out frank moved out ill bring this post back up.

Idk how well this post makes sense bc like i said my brain isnt quite functioning with this concept but i hope i made it mostly understandable

“With our current line up? With you?” He said, with a tone of cavalier respect and a nod, so she knew it was a compliment “Sounds like the roster is already full.”l, crossing the white tiled floor to the gold balconies. The transparent white curtains above the open glass doors stirred slightly with the wind, a welcome if small relief to the heat that permeated the air even though it was night.

“An old VILE faculty’s base. A welcoming gift from them. Apparently he had a few of these all around the world. He’d tried to keep a few of them private. They got rid of most of them, had them “cleaned” to avoid evidence.”

Carmen stopped at the entrance, gave an exaggerated flourish of her hand as it left the wall before bringing it near her face. Carmen stared at the dust that had gathered on her fingers. She paused, leaning against the frame, before rubbing her fingers to grind the dust off with a frown.

“But this ones all mine now,” She said.

Gray whistled as he took in the house's size. It almost looked like an amphitheater, the way the semi-circle design did its best to accommodate columns, a double staircase, and tall walls to envelope a second floor only a third the size of the house. The rooms still managed to be vast somehow. Empty too save for a few pieces of aging, if expensive, furniture; some bookshelves, fancy globes, and empty picture frames.

“This place is huge. Faculty money really does go far.” He said in an appreciative tone. He walked to the balcony, leaning over the railing to admire the large pool. Soft lights illuminated the bright green leaves littered on the otherwise clean chlorine blue waters.

He turned to make a remark about how the cleaners were slacking only to notice she hadn’t joined him. She was still trying to grind the dust out of her gloves.

“With a bit of work this place...” He trailed off, looking at the slightly ragged curtains blowing and the expensive tiles.

“Thinking of settling down, Gray?” She replied as she finally looked up, the slight amusement in her voice easing him a little.

“Ha, hardly. But throwing a party here wouldn’t be a bad idea eh?” He grinned, expecting her to react positively to the idea. She’d been all work lately. Even her tendency to wander, a habit that exasperated everyone, only ended with new prizes to show off to faculty rather than celebrating with the rest of the team. But here was an opportunity to shake that routine up a bit.

“Work up some lights, install a sound system, invite the gang, and we can be the highlight of the town for the weekend.” He mused lightly, snickering at memories of throwing bashes back in Australia. Broke into a house much like this one with some temporary mates to throw a huge one there too. Best concert he’d played in his opinion. Blew out a few speakers.

She didn’t answer.

“Carmen?”

“Apparently Shadowsan burned one of the other hideouts. Right after he killed Dexter Wolfe.”

“Dexter who?” He raised a brow at her.

“Wolfe. The VILE faculty member who used to live there.” She glanced back inside the house. He followed her gaze to the empty shelves, layered with perfectly even dust.

He leaned back on the railing and watched her glare, like something would appear on the empty picture frames, or disturb the dust, or even just make the room less vast. More emptiness dispelled by the bit of leftover furniture.

Then she was back to her nonchalant poker face. Looking for a challenge in the situation.

“Wolfe was probably hard to find. He didn’t seem to like staying in one place. I wonder how long it’ll take me to find Shadowsan.” She smirked, clearly expecting to beat whatever unknown record Shadowsan had set.

Tigress had given him the story in an outraged burst, Le chevre and El topo with scoffs, and finally the faculty had given him a more calm report of what had happened. For unknown reasons Shadowsan had defected to work with Carmen. They had given her information that should have destroyed their new bond. Shadowsan had killed her father. Instead of falling apart they had instead continued working together, stronger than ever in their efforts to topple VILE.

Carmen wouldn’t have worked with Shadowsan if he’d actually killed her father, he thought, absently rubbing his jaw of a phantom ache. That’s who Wolfe probably was.

“You never did get along with Shadowsan.” Gray replied, thinking of all the times she’d complained to him that Shadowsan was clearly picking on her, the way he went undermining her achievements.

She gave him a confused look.

“I mean, are you still really going to try to show him up? There’s no real point now.”

“What can I say? I like a challenge.” She smiled arrogantly at him.

“And I wouldn’t say never. He seemed to care a lot when I was younger. He only started acting like a prick when I wanted to join VILE officially. “ She said, finally walking over to the railing to where he was.

Gray stared at her now seemingly dispassionate profile as she gave the luxurious pool a glance.

She wouldn’t have just let VILE tell her something like that without getting to the bottom of it. Shadowsan might have constantly acted like a heel to Carmen but there must be a reason she kept him near after. He was probably more important to her than she’d let on. He was probably a better person than he’d let on as well.

“Never heard you talk this much about yourself.” When they’d modified Carmen’s memories Gray had had to offhandedly remind himself that the train hadn’t happened to her. When she’d come back she’d been even less interested in sharing anything about herself. It felt odd to be back to getting fragments of her again.

“...is it?” Irritation dug into her expression, breaking the collected air she kept trying to keep up yet again.

“Carmen, you didn’t even talk this much back at school.” Gray said flatly.

“I’m not as frank as a bored electrician from Sydney. Go figure.”

“Alright then,” Gray said. Drop the subject.

He waved a hand at the house in general. “What are you going to do with it?”

Carmen paused before answering. “Nothing.”

“Nothing?”

“Nothing here for me. It’s not like I need my own hideout. “

“Right. Faculty member now.” He said with a frown.

“Hey, you might make it to a faculty seat one day.” She said in a teasing voice.

“With our current line up? With you?” He said, with a tone of chavalier respect and a nod, so she knew it was a compliment “Sounds like the roster is already full.”

She gave an exaggerated grimace and hiss behind her teeth. “Didn’t take you for a quitter, Gray.”

He gave a short laugh. “Thanks.”

She gave him a shrug, her eyes laughing back with him.

Gray felt like shivering despite the heat. It didn’t feel right. None of this.

“What are you planning on doing when you see him again?” He couldn’t help asking. VILE didn’t like loose ends. As skilled as he was, or rather because he seemed involved and he was skilled, Shadowsan would probably get in Carmen’s path now that she was becoming a bigger threat. Or she’d run off to somehow get to him herself.

“Oh, nothing he wouldn’t deserve.” Carmen said, with a dark cold smile.

Carmen spun the keys around her gloved finger before tossing them to Gray, the small gold keys glinting as they landed coldly in his palm. “The place is all yours.”

"Expensive gift." He said.

"You're welcome."

She started for the stairs.

He propped himself of the railing and walked a bit towards him.

“Where ya headed?”

“It’s a faculty thing.” Carmen said proudly, stopping at the top of the stairs.

“Probably won’t need help for this. I’ll catch up with you on some other mission.” She smiled back at him softly.

“Or who knows, maybe the faculty will have another chair available soon.” She raised a brow at him, the soft smile turning into an unfamiliar grin. Expecting him, he supposed, to rise to a challenge.

He looked at her quietly for a moment before he smiled back.

“That’s alright. Got plans for later anyway.”

“Invite me to the party?” She grinned. A more familiar one this time. One that felt...right.

“Not a party, sadly. Mission.”

“For VILE?” Carmen looked at him curiously.

“No. Just some personal business in Iceland.”

“Is this the second time we’ve both gotten stuck in the same elevator?”

I would like to give a special thanks to @silver-inked for helping me when I went through writers block with this idea. I was able to figure out an idea cause of your help so thank you. :)

Background: The gang are at a Roller Skating competition. It’s sort of an AU that would take place in season three but there are no spoilers or mention of anything that correlates to season three. A character does mention Mitchel but nothing specifically about him is said. Ships included are Lutteo (with angst) and Simbar.

Luna and Matteo both entered inside the elevator to head upstairs since it was their turn next to compete. They stole glances from each other and it was just pure silence in the air. They both couldn’t help but stay angry at each other for their own reasons.

“C’mon Emilia hurry up,” Ámbar demanded outside of the elevator.

“Can’t you see I’m trying!” Emilia replied. Emilia was frantically unscrewing the latch that contained all of the buttons of the elevator outside. She pulled out her scissors from her back pocket and snipped at one of the cords. The elevator stopped.

“It stopped..” Matteo noticed.

“Chico Fresa, what do you mean it stopped? Can’t you just press another button to go up.”

“None of them work. The elevator is stuck,” Matteo stuttered whilst frantically pressing all the buttons at once.

Luna covered her face in astonishment. Out of all the days and all the times it had to be now, right before it was their turn to perform and nonetheless with Matteo. The one person she didn’t even want to look at right now or even be with. Luna pulled out her phone.

“Ugh there’s no service. What are we going to do?” Luna anxiously asked.

“It’s ok, calm down Chica Delivery. Someone is bound to notice and try to use the elevator. They will let us go and we’ll be fine.”

“Clearly you’re forgetting one very important event. We were up next to skate and now we won’t be able to make it on time! Plus how are you able to stay so calm? You must not care so much about this, only your album is all you worry about.”

Matteo rapidly turned towards her. “Of course I care, it’s just in matters like these it’s important to stay calm. Plus you’re not so perfect either Luna. You haven’t stopped holding a grudge on me for what happened with the album and Bruno. You know I’m not like that anymore and I already apologized countless times,” Matteo rebutted.

“Ok maybe I went a little too far there but lately you’ve been just so distant from me and the gang. Whenever we talk about competitions you lose interest and the closer I try to get to you, the farther you move away.” Matteo stayed silent at her response.

Luna broke the silence and said, “Well I’m going to try to call for help.”

“How?” Matteo questioned.

Luna yelled whilst banging at the door with her hand as a fist “HELP HELP! WE’RE TRAPPED IN HERE! HELP!” Matteo decided to do the same thing.

“Aww hear that Emilia, they’re trapped. Poor things, well I guess they have to figure it out all on their own.” Ámbar and Emilia cackled together. Emilia picked up all of her tools and placed it in her backpack after screwing back the elevator button latch so there will be no evidence that it was them.

“C’mon let’s get out of here so no one thinks it’s us.” Emilia ran out the hallway and so did Ámbar till she bumped into someone. Her black, fringe shoulder bag falling to the floor alongside her phone. “Watch where you’re goi- oh Simón! Uh what are you doing here?” Her mood and tone of voice quickly shifts when she notices it’s Simón.

Simón bends over to pick up Ámbar’s stuff like the gentleman he is. Ambar always loved it when he was nice to her but now wasn’t a good time. She had to hurry quick before the others suspect it was her. “I’ve been searching for Luna and Matteo. They’re needed now at the rink, they’re up next to skate. Have you seen them?”

Ámbar rapidly shakes her head, “No no I haven’t, sorry. Don’t worry too much about it though, they're bound to be found soon. In fact, they’re probably at the rink tying up their shoes, you know they’re never late to a performance.”

Simón scratches his head. “Yeah I guess you’re right. Hey, what are you doing here?”

Ámbar quickly makes up an excuse. “I was just… looking for the vending machine! I wanted to eat something before I prepared skates.”

“Oh say no more.” Simón stuffs his hands in his pockets scavenging for something. He pulls out two granola bars and smiles. “Here you go. You can have it. It’s not much but it’s something you can eat and not have to buy or waste your money.”

Ámbar couldn’t help but smile at this sweet gesture Simón made. He always helps her, without thinking. Ámbar couldn’t help but wonder maybe there is somebody in this world who cares about her, could it be Simón? Would life be better if she just let her guard down to him, for him.

“HELP! HELP!” The staring contest between Ámbar and Simón spontaneously ended. “Do you hear that?” Simón asked Ámbar. “No no. Must be some kids playing outside.”

Simón immediately ran to the dressing room hallway. Ámbar changed her mentality on a “what if she did change” cause she feels at the end of the day he will always prefer Luna and the others. “Stupid Lunita always ruining everything. Plus, what’s the point of changing if he’s alway going to care for those losers and ignore me or leave me at the sidelines. I’m tired of being thrown to the side,” Ámbar wondered.

Emilia dashed to Ámbar. “I came back. I thought you were right behind me running. If we stay any longer they will figure out it was us.”

“I know we have to hurry but our plan sort of backfired. Simón was able to hear these two idiots yelling from the elevator.”

Emilia puts her hand over her head. “No it can’t be. Well, fixing that elevator shouldn’t be easy and it's their turn now meaning they’ll miss it. We’re just going to have to hope that the judges don’t give them a second chance.”

Ámbar and Emilia escape the scene. Simón runs into the hallway. He notices the closer he approaches the elevator, the louder he hears the screaming for help. “Guys are you ok? Who is this in the elevator and what happened?”

“Simón! Simón! It’s us, Luna and Matteo! The elevator randomly stopped and there’s no service. Ever since then we’ve been trapped in here,” Luna announces.

“Oh I’ll go get Juliana now! Don’t go anywhere ok?”

“Guitarrista, where would we go, we’re trapped,” Matteo answered.

“Oh yeah that’s right. Whoops.” Simón replied.

Simón runs off to go let the team know. Now it’s just Luna and Matteo…. alone. Luna sits down, bends her knees and lays her head on top with a gloomy expression plastered on her face. Matteo can’t help but stare at the way Luna feels depressed. He hates seeing her the opposite of her usual happy, cheery self. “Cheer up Chica Delivery, they’re coming soon to fix the elevator. We’ll be out of here in no time.”

“But Matteo, we missed our turn to skate and what if the judges don’t give us another opportunity. What if, cause of us, our whole team misses out on performing as well. We don’t know how severe the elevator issue is nor how long it will take and -”

Matteo cuts Luna off and tries to comfort her. “And everything will be okay. Look if those things do end up happening then we’ll have another opportunity in a future competition. Some things are just out of our hands, like this elevator incident in this case.”

“You’re right but we worked so hard for this competition.”

“And we'll work even harder for the next one,” Matteo being optimistic, hoping this would make her feel better.

“Yeah you’re right.” Luna sighs.

The elevator turned to silence again. They couldn’t help but steal glances from one another. Oh how it was so hard to just speak to the other, they’re constantly overthinking and worried to put their heart out on the line. “Why do we always end up in arguments with each other,” they wondered. Matteo inhaled a large gulp of hair, tried to put his nerves on the sidelines and his courage to the test.

“I’m sorry for avoiding you these past days.”

Luna’s head shifted towards Matteo now. All her attention is now on him.

“It’s just I didn’t know how to react when seeing you constantly with Michel and I was worried there is something more between the two of you. I thought there was and tried to give you space, you deserve someone who truly loves you and cares about you. I didn’t want to get in the way of that but at the same time it hurt seeing you with him so I always tried to leave. Sorry if I ended up hurting you in any way from doing that. Your music deal was very important to you and I shouldn’t always prioritize these competitions, I should’ve been there to comfort you when Bruno cancelled it at the time. You were my boyfriend and I really did care about you, and still do. I think it was just I didn’t want to see you lose sight of yourself and care solely about your album and your success. Life is much more than that but I should’ve expressed myself better. I did notice though you have changed ever since you apologized. You now make more of an effort to get along with Simon and are even friends, which is so cute! I know it has been tough for you ever since Gaston left as well. Just know I will always be here for you, whenever you need me.”

Matteo smiled widely now. Luna’s words couldn’t have been any more comforting. He hates arguing with her but he loves these intimate moments, maybe it wasn’t so bad after all to get trapped in this elevator. Maybe it was meant to be, maybe it was their time for the stars to align.

Matteo and Luna both got up. Juliana and the gang were outside with an electrician fixing the buttons to the elevator. Luna and Matteo were so wrapped up in their conversation they barely even noticed. “Let’s make a deal Matteo. I will try to focus some more time in helping you out with your music if you will do the same with these competitions and actually get excited for them, and train with me.”

Matteo chuckled. He was beaming with joy and anyone who knew him could tell. “It’s a deal.” Luna took out her hand and Matteo shook it. Right after, while holding her hand shaking it, he pulled her in closer. They were only centimeters apart now. The air felt like it escaped their lungs and Matteo knew exactly what he was doing when he did it. “So Chica Delivery, is it true what you said about me? You still care about me?”

Luna looked up. Their faces were so close to each other, their noses touched. “Chico Fresa, you still have doubts, on me?!” Luna joked.

“Do you still have feelings for me too?” The sparks were reignited again and floating in the air. Luna tried to breath and her nerves couldn’t stop from taking over her. Great, now she forgot how to breath. Matteo caressed her cheek and now her skin feels like it’s on fire. Her heart couldn’t stop racing. She wanted to answer but she already knew he knew the answer as they kept leaning closer...and closer… and…

The automatic doors have opened

Everyone stared at Luna and Matteo’s almost kiss. Luna and Matteo frantically moved their faces and stared in shock. They were not expecting the elevator to get fixed so fast. Jazmin had her tablet in hand and exclaimed, “YES I GOT IT ALL ON TAPE! Ja- Jazmin fans you all are in for a real treat this week!” Luna face palmed herself and couldn’t believe Matteo was laughing, even if he was trying to hide it.

Future: Joel Billy Jacobi

First one to leave Mortwood*

Does it mainly bc he has no one at this point and the gang isnt talking to him anymore bc of the situation™ between him and Martin

Also leaves so he can get his head screwed on righ AKA getting clean

Moves two states away

Maybe montana

Or colorado

Or smth

He's mainly bumming around town and picking up odd jobs here and there

Its hard tho bc hes in the process of quitting yknow

He's also contemplating all the mega bs he put all his friends through esp Martin.

Eventually a dude™ he's done a bit of work with gives him a place to stay for a while and hires him onto the team for construction

But under the condition that he goes back to school and gets his electrician and construction lisense

He agrees and he's enjoying it

Even though he dont talk much

Hes just happy to be there

When he eventually gets enough cash for a phone he immideatly calls Martin and profusely appologises which Martin still doesnt accept but dudes got a point

He also calls Rosario and explains everything she kinda accepts his apology and is relived to know hes ok and that she didnt mean everything she said to him but he understands.

By this point he's like mid-thirties and saves enough cash to buy a foresty patch of land with a couple acers

This leads him to begin building his own makeshift place!

Same year he gets a smol crush on a painter the dude™ hired along with other painter bros.

We'll call him Harvey*

The talk around the construction site is that Joel is weirdly good at cutting hair and most of the guys on the site get their hair done by him

Harvey asks if he can get his hair cut in exchange for dinner

Joely agrees

The boy hasnt had a homecooked meal in YEARS

After that they have weekly dinners together and Joel fixes things around Harvey's shithole apartment.

On a wild drunken night just play wrestling n shit

Joel kisses Harvey and Joel immediately freaks himself out

But Harvey is like bro chill and gives him a lil smooch

They start dating after that

When Joel FINALLY finishes building the makeshift house he asks Harvey to move in with him

Harvey's loves the idea and makes their place a cozy safe space.

Joel spends most of his time woodworking or painting or working on the house with Harvey

They fill their home with love and they live there basically forever

Joel's never felt better with anyone else.
