Art Installations I'd Like To Visit Pt 1.
Tumblr media
As an artist, I have found that our job is to, moreso, feel things so that we may create works to connect with others; to tell a story for the people of our times or on their behalf, and/or to simply relay the message to our audience that "Hey! I was here, and thus, so are you... Look at you looking at me." And to me, this is what makes a piece of art valuable. (To the people laughing at that urinal "sculpture" or that fan from a dead woman's apartment they placed in the LACMA, I'm glad you've found something funny, please pay us while we're here to eat.(haha I digress)) To feel ourselves we must *fill ourselves with other things that make us feel. For a lot of artists, this is art. Art is how we transmute emotions such as enjoyment or personal inquisitions, and art is what gives us or speaks most to such emotions within us; and with that, here are some of the experiential installations that I'd like to feel out. This first one is more of a quest or venture of sorts but, hear me out... ✨James Turrell's skyspaces✨
Tumblr media
I'm so sure you've seen one before. Perhaps in a Kanye music video or clip of his Sunday Service or perhaps maybe even in a college life vlog of an acquaintance, or maybe you've found yourself coincidentally stumbling into one in the middle of the rocky mountains. If not, well, I'm sure you're bound to come across one someday, as there are over 85 of them in the world. Each is a somewhat simple or minimalistic structure, usually built from materials sourced from it's very surroundings,,, a simple room, with a roof that leaves space; for the sky.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Though the concept may seem to be lacking to some, this simplicity is what makes these installments so enthralling and allows for the maximum interaction with its subject matter and that is (arguably) the observation of the viewers' position in space, time, history and how one's senses so fluidly change perception of this based on our surroundings and what our eyes take in. Though I'm sure we were all already hyper-fixating on the matter already, Turrell's skyspaces not only allow space for the sky and it's optical changes, but space for those who experience it to freely ponder, contemplation, or to simply marvel at something, which we are not often privy to do in peace.
Tumblr media
As a main attraction of his art Turrell has prepared a set arrangement of colors to display within the spaces further engaging with the audience's senses, making the difference in perception ever clear with every color change, set to occur at every dawn and every dusk.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Not only would I love to experience introspection, alone, in one of these Sky Spaces, but I'd love to see how such experiences change with a varying number of people and how our own respective perceptions of the same pieces of sky reflect on each other, and if we'll even make mention of it at all. I'd like to experience a skyspace in singularity, as a couple, and in community; surely it will be in-sight-ful ! Haha The closest sky spaces to me are: James Turrell's Dividing The Light at the Benton Museum of Art at Pomona College James Turrell's Three Gems at De Young Mueseum San Francisco James Turrell ASU Skyspace: Air Apparent

This is all you need to know about me, perhaps I really am a bird :0!!
Its surprising I didn't feel like I did much this year with ocs but turns out I had more art I wanted to include!
I hope you all enjoy a bit of an art & artist recap! Time has flown by so fast but in a good way it surprises me how productive I still was despite having less computer time. Things are surely busy I suppose with being an adult that is a norm. Yet I am hopeful for next year. One thing I am proud of is how mentally things have been going up or stable? For me at least for a few years back I genuinely wanted to skip my life no matter what didn't feel like there was much point in looking up at it when so many things impede you for just existing somewhere else. I couldn't care less if I missed "a life" events with family, peers and opportunities as such to the point I was to be in auto pilot until everything fell where it needed to even if it took 5,10,40 years and I could finally "live my life" and not feel any anguish over big burdens or dreams. Yet nowadays I can't help but find myself happy for weekly events or tiny moments a spur of inspiration gives me ^^ Slowly and as corny as it sounds life should be lived in the moment and even if some things still want me to not succeed whether people or systems I shall make the best of it. Hay que ir de dia a dia! Quien dijo miedo cuando ya uno esta en la boca del tigre!
I believe that reflects so much in one's art. And with a better mental state well I've been the most productive in AF I did better than when I had free afternoons every day and with a tighter schedule xD Although this year also made me realize how nice it is to be able to hold your own art space per say, share ideas with other creatives get inspired on the same subjects. Truly thank you all for the support and engagement I know lately things have been dealt hard with online artists but to those that still stick around and share what fills their hearts content are the life blood of the art community in every platform. So thank you to the people passing by and appreciating my art once or twice. EVEN MORE to my followers here and everywhere else I have grown as a professional artists these years as well with your help and kindness that I will forever remember (also the fact that you all like to see and comment on my blorbos or silly thoughts/aesthetics? makes me overjoyed haha) AND TO MY FRIENDS YOU ALL KNOW THE MVPS OF ALL THIS TY FOR BEING HERE there has never been a dull year for me interacting with you all and getting to know more about the art and characters you all have <3 Thanks for reading this o/ Enjoy the holidays and have a great time however you like to spend it, and to those also going through similar things try to treat yourself in any way you can. Wishing things get easier for you at some point very soon!

Number 22 on the artist questions: List at least one of your “artspirations.” ❤️
The art inspiration that I've had for most of my life was Ken Sugimori, aka the guy who came up with the Pokémon art style.
Though as a kid I was also exposed to a number of late 90s/2000s Maho Shoujo art styles that I loved and tried to imitate and I think they did have an impact in my own artistic growth ... In fact, up until when I was around 11, the way I drew actually leaned more into those Majokko influences rather than Pokémon.
At around 12, however, I began to truly wish to get good at the Pokemon art style (specifically the one from the anime), and so this influence became very prominent in how I drew, while the Shoujo influences toned down. I would practice copying Pokemon anime frames pretty often and this continued for a few years including when I got my first drawing tablet at 14.
At 15, however, I not only lowkey got into another Shoujo (Kirarin Revolution), but I also discovered BL, which led me to discover quite a few new anime/art styles that definitely started to influence the way I drew. Much like the Shoujos, I don't feel mentioning any series or artist in particular because I think at this point they just influenced me as a whole rather than one specific series. The first BL anime I've ever watched was Gravitation though, if you're curious 😂
At 16, I finally came into contact with what has definitely been my biggest inspiration: Hetalia!! 💗 I truly fell in love with not only Himaruya's art style, which I soon started to study to try and copy, but also with lots of fan-artists that drew in such a plethora of different art styles 😍 Of course, there were fan-artists I admired and looked up to even before Hetalia, but with the Hetalia fandom, I think it truly impacted me more than my previous experiences, and it keeps impacting and influencing me with all the amazing fellow fan-artists I come across 💗
... Besides that, there are also other inspirations I've had that I genuinely tried to study and learn from in the past 10 years or so. A notable mention is definitely Cute High Earth LOVE!, not only the anime but even moreso the promotional manga, which is the one that actually inspired me to leave the pupil white ... Funny enough, though, the artist usually only makes it white in actual manga pages and colors it in in most full color artworks 😂 But I think she didn't in my own favorite art from her, which is where I realized that hey, I really like the effect it gives to eyes a lot, I love how it makes them naturally more glowy without having to add lots of lights in the irises, which is something I've never liked doing. Then I've seen this also being done in some Pokemon human artworks especially for Gen6-7 👀✨
Recently, a friend told me something in my art (especially how I draw Spain??) reminded her of old shoujo anime/manga from the 70s/early 80s and that made me quite happy 💕 She was referring specifically to Kaze to Ki no Uta, which is actually the only anime/manga from the time I'm acquainted with other than Versailles no Bara, so it's pretty interesting how she saw that in my art despite the fact that I've never told her before I actually watched (and started reading, though I suck at reading manga I always forget to continue) Kaze to Ki no Uta lol Maybe it's because I often draw SpAus in historical scenes and that's pretty much the aesthetics both KtKnU and VnB convey 🤔 Either way, I'm happy because I'm a sucker for that kind of vibes 💕

Famous german Artist SEAK Claus Winklers process dairy: just fapped karazza style ( Japanese sxmen Rentention technique with orgxsm). Did that from late teens to late twenties. While fapping, reflecting on the thought process/ triggers to rise/ self aphrodisiac. How pictures influence? How the colors, with in the photos where effecting me. Must keep my male essence. Might do the Rentention without carazza ( dry orgxsm) for a few days/ week. Yesterday late workout. Weight lifting in the studio. Then bathtube, rp videos, videos decamoflaging/ questioning all the different political/ societal movements/ directions. How left/ right, the woke clownworld, etc is mixed, remixed. That the rp/ pro masculinity goes mainstream. How people bend/ steer/ form personality’s, playing there games/ cultivating there personas/ playing there roles, gaining followers, catering, setting triggers. Reflected during the day what needs, my art serves for my customers/ collectors/ investors? Asides/ beyond, the paintings speak for themselfs. What are they speaking, to whom? What is there result? People buy/ invest in what they want, what they become marketed. It’s not about what they need. What are the implict effects from my art? Which need, which wanting Iam fullfilling with my art? Enjoyed the weightlifting. Progress. Soon heavier weights. Realized how super quick the people draw there there blades with in the current stxbbing wave we having here in Germany. It’s the new culture. 7 Meter distance is nothing. Yesterday all day on the couch. I guess that’s part of the process. Realized, felt, the steady wave dopamine hits from YouTube video signaling. Glad iam not successful on socialmedia. When having money again i will invest in a bundle all seasons ticket for english southpark ( iTunes). #SEAK #ClausWinkler #SEAKClausWinkler #paintingoftheday #artcollection #classism #Artnews #artworld #insidecollectorhomes #artspiration #artinfocus #collectorcrib #artful #artfulhome #livingart #artlife #modernart #studio #atelier #bildendeKunst #selectedwork #selectedworks #digitalarchive #artcollector #artistportrait #artmagzine #dailyart #zeitgenössischeKunst (hier: Lichtenstein - Vaduz) https://www.instagram.com/p/CqH5yMQo1uv/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=
