It never ceases to amaze me how inspiration and ideas work. Sometimes I’ll see one image and a dozen new ideas for drawings will pop into my head. My desk this morning. I finally settled on an Inktober 52 concept for this week’s prompt! I stressed over this because my earlier ideas just weren’t executable, and I could tell I was going to hate them once I finally started. 😅

I want to use dip pen and india ink for this week’s piece, so I’m breaking out the antique porcelain ink well and dip pen set my husband gifted me for Christmas last year. Good luck to meeeee! I’m just happy I actually get to play with my supplies and explore ink like this.

I’m also resisting playing this new game he bought for me. Ahhh! I beat the demo for Bayonetta Origins recently and have been so bummed out I couldn’t keep playing it. But he surprised me and got it for me yesterday! Eeek! Now I need to resist playing so I can finish this prompt before the week is over. 😂
