Anthro Au Survivor drafts feat. too much worldbuilding because I cant just put pants on a slugcat like a normal person & my godawful handwriting
The Survivor (Their full, scavenger-given name includes the 'The') was separated from their family while traveling between colonies and stranded in the dangerous unpopulated wilds.
Against all odds they managed to survive (and wander) far longer than they should have been able, but rather than reconnecting with their (or another) slugcat family, they instead made contact with one of the many wandering scavenger troops- But unfortunately not one that had ever met a slugcat nor had any idea what to make of a stranded one.
Regardless the group gave it their best, ended up committing to the role of slugparents, and The Survivor and their troop still consider themselves close family long after Survivor finally reconnected with their sibling. (They're a bit of a mess though, understandably)

spare lee!scara?🙏
"You can't even complain," Childe says, managing to pinpoint the exact, tiny little spot right beside Scaramouche's hip bones, the one that makes him shriek and kick and nearly beg, if only he wasn't so stubborn. The sensation it produces is overwhelming, sending awful, unbearable, electrifying, ticklish shocks throughout his entire midsection. "You asked me for this."
"I a-ahahasked for ehehendurance training!" screeches Scaramouche, barely able to get his words out without crumbling into a mess of helpless laughter. "There ahahare other wahays to—fuhuhucking stohohop!"
Childe smirks, and Scaramouche knew it was a terrible idea to ask him for help, but he's the only Harbinger around that Scaramouche can tolerate, so he had to make do. He should have realised that he's experienced, that he has a million unfair, dirty tricks up his sleeves, but Scaramouche wasn't thinking and now he's never going to recover from this humiliation.
Of all things, it's almost infuriating that tickling is the one thing that brings him to his knees.
He's been tickled before, a few times, years ago by a face he can hardly remember now. But that was at least gentle, and all this time without being tickled before suddenly being tormented by it is making everything worse. And the absolute worst thing is that he almost li—
He doesn't dislike—
He's going to kill Childe once he's able to stand.

This hurts me so much because-- Meg is free. She took in her foster siblings. Nero can't harm her or her family anymore. She's free. She killed the Beast --- she got rid of Nero
She's showing her siblings that the world can be kind, and that they have the chance to be too. She's showing them love, just like how it was shown to her
And Apollo went back.
When he gets his goodhood back, he's in Olympus. Olymps, where his father, his abuser, rules. Olympus, where his family is. That place isn't his home. He didn't have a home to go back to. And even if he loves his siblings (or, uh, some of them), they still took part in Zeus' abuse; they ignored it, acted upon it, took their anger out on others, and unlike Apollo, they refuse to change
But he knows better now. He knows not to seek his father's aproval, knows that what they did and are still doing is wrong and that he doesn't deserve to suffer because of it
He's not like them, not anymore. Maybe he never was (everything about him was a lie, after all), but now? Now that he knows the truth, now that he sees so clearly how fucked up it all is, how can he bear to go back? He'll stay as far away from Olympus and Zeus as possible. He'll be kind in his father's place, but he's still under his rule
Apollo knows, now, that even if they're all powerful beings --- even if they're gods --- they're still people. And this is something his family is too afraid (an ungodly emotion) to accept
Zeus puts his hand on his shoulder and says You have made me proud. Apollo doesn't cry nor scream-- he doesn't hug his dad, knowing that this might be the last time he gets the chance to
A unfair king, a tyrant, knowing that he may have gone too far this time, attempts to put his child at ease, making him believe that everything is fine now. But it isn't. And the child doesn't believe him
Apollo knows now. And he'll try to change things for the better

FINALLY CHILD AU!!
I probably will do a another post with thus au because I love them like this 😌😌
(he never liked lillipops 😔) I’ll try to develop more this au
All I can say for now is (and sry for my english ;w;):
I can’t really imagen a situation of how they met but I imagen Artemis Senior not agreing with this friendship, but Angleine says that Arty needs friends. Holly’s is always getting and trouble, falling from trees, running (you know, that tipe of child tat can’t be quiet for 2 seconds) and Artemis is the quiet id that is always secretly worried about her when she hurts or something but he tries to hide it. He’s also a bit severe with here because of her ways but in the background he likes her as she is :3 And I named the worm as “Henry” because every time I think about worms the name “Henry” cames i my head. Maybe I’m weard.

The part in the first Artemis Fowl book where Artemis & the Butlers escape the time stop is actually so funny.
In the past eight hours, Butler has dealt with a loose hostage, a dwarf intruder, a squadron of cops, and a troll, seen his sister be deeply hypnotized, and practically died, and his last thought before falling unconscious after his twelve-year-old boss essentially poisons him by mixing liquor and un-prescribed pills is (understandably) "I am so ready to kill this little shit but won't for my sister's sake."
Whereas Artemis's last thought is just "I'm a bit sad I couldn't tell my friends that I drugged their drinks :( . Oh well. Bottoms up!"
Like...c'mon, Artemis. I know you're twelve, but let's develop a bit of self and situational awareness, yeah?

give me dc!au artemis being the rumored illicit lovechild between bruce wayne and angeline fowl. he DID go MIA when her husband vanished-- and artemis is the spitting image of young bruce.
but also he's as smart. as cunning. as capable. he was masterminding a criminal empire before he hit puberty. oh no that party boy lifestyle was coming back to bite him in the ass.
