Anthro Au Survivor drafts feat. too much worldbuilding because I cant just put pants on a slugcat like a normal person & my godawful handwriting
The Survivor (Their full, scavenger-given name includes the 'The') was separated from their family while traveling between colonies and stranded in the dangerous unpopulated wilds.
Against all odds they managed to survive (and wander) far longer than they should have been able, but rather than reconnecting with their (or another) slugcat family, they instead made contact with one of the many wandering scavenger troops- But unfortunately not one that had ever met a slugcat nor had any idea what to make of a stranded one.
Regardless the group gave it their best, ended up committing to the role of slugparents, and The Survivor and their troop still consider themselves close family long after Survivor finally reconnected with their sibling. (They're a bit of a mess though, understandably)
We have been doing Spearmaster campaign recently and started to understand the depth behind Iterators' lore and... just had to make them馃ゲ (NSH to come soon!)
We are so hoping you guys like them馃ゲ
Added them to our shop (made to order) if anyone wants their own Iterator 馃ゲ
During an RP with some of the VanillaVerse members, they all ended up unconscious except Phantasmagoria!PV (also known as Majesty), Phantasmagoria!SMC (also known as Phanta), and Baby Nilla. so I drew them all being carried :D EXCEPT PLOT TWIST, THEY'RE NOW SLUGCATS
Featuring (left-right) Blueberry Milkshake and Baby Nilla (@fluffshi-wxffle/@blueshadowdad), MaMS!PV and MaMS!SMC (@raptor1312), and IO!PV (@scarapanna) (who's unfortunately barely visible, sorry T-T)

25. common fandom complaint that you're sick of hearing
the message of vanilla rain world isnt "go kill yourself". it really isnt. i havent seen this one much nowadays but i still see it and i have seen it. the point of rain world isnt to make it to the end. its to enjoy the journey as you're having it because it was crafted to be strictly unique, with how enemies behave like real creatures and all. personally i dont even think ascension = death but it's ambiguous in canon and i very much understand how someone comes away with that conclusion. my conclusion is a bit different because im unhinged
rain world is about perseverance and determination and exploration and enjoying yourself while you're here. a lot of people see the ends of games as what it's trying to tell you but. dont forget that rain world itself is an experimental game and doesn't follow typical story structure. all of the main story already happened. you live in the aftermath of it all. you are a little creature trying to survive. enjoy yourself to your fullest. rain world only ends when you say it ends
I don't have them really super thought out (lots of this started just as messing around with designs, which i dont even have for these other three) but all the vanilla slugcats are more involved with scavengers. I just feel the need to work out far more details than probably necessary
Survivor lives roughly around the farm arrays area with a young pseudo-elite in a largely isolate colony and Nightcat and Monk both live roughly in the Industrial location. Nightcat used to live in a different scavenger colony but Something Happened To That One (cough), so they were just wandering when monk and them paired up. Of course all this is like, first draft and needs so much work
I've been working on making my slugcat style a bit more accurate to the game (smaller ears and eyes mainly), and now I have three bite sized lil' fellas.
