Bobcat kitten brothers by Jamie Felton
Via Flickr:
These two bobcat siblings paused along the brush line, among the cypress knees for a second, deciding if its safe to come out and play with the others. Taken December 2 . I have not had another chance to see them again, but I have many more photos . I hope I wont get boring, posting a few more. But they were just so rare to see in the wild, I cant help myself. Again the lighting conditions were horrible for photographing fast moving little kittens. Please view large here: View On Black

Until we meet again by Valerie
Via Flickr:
After 3 years my business in South Florida is finally complete. Unfortunately this means no more visits with one of my favorite animals, Hera, the Striped Hyena. There are a lot of things I will miss, the 13 hour drives not being one of them. There are so many places we want to discover in the USA that it may be a few years before I get back to Florida. Until we meet again, thanks for the memories.

Glen Affric stag by Iain Harris
Via Flickr:
Seen just below the viewpoint at the end of the public road in Glen Affric. I'd been up the hill to look at the view and had stood there quietly for about half-an-hour. On the way back down I chanced across this stag munching in the deep bracken. I could only see his velvet antlers to start with and had just enough time to get my camera ready before he realised I was there. It was a shame to startle him and he crashed through the braken to get away. He stopped here though, beneath this tree, and had a look back before legging it up the hillside. A fantastic chance-encounter!
