At the end of the play, he's broke...we were using [Carolyn's] money for stage money, and she hands me the five-dollar bill at the end of the play....one day, I was sitting in a bar shortly after [a performance] and I realized I had...her five dollar bill. So I went to the telephone and I called her and I told her I had her five dollars and would she come down and help me spend it?"

Happened sometime between 28 May- 6 June 1942. 💕

Evelyn met Aiyla as a damaged fae who knew very little about what she was. The younger Fae had been through hell and back by the time she met Evelyn who had been surviving and thriving for a long while. For reasons UTP Evelyn took Aiyla under her wing and cared for her. Taught her how to survive, about being a Banshee and more. The two lived together for a good while. They create a peaceful life together in the mountains protected by forest with no one around for several miles. In their years together, Aiyla learns more about Faeries, specifically Banshees. One day she returns home to find the place trashed and Evelyn gone. Evelyn’s mysterious disappearance prompts Aiyla’s journey to Lunar Cove due to a series of clues left for Aiyla to follow if anything ever happened to her. 

I had a few ideas on what could have happened to Evelyn but this is ultimately UTP. All that is set in stone was that if anything was to happen their fallback plan was to make it to the safe haven in Lunar Cove, which is where Aiyla has been dutifully waiting, hoping Evelyn will show up. Where she’d been and why it took her such a long while make it to LC is utp. ac

Another FUCKED UP news of the day: Republicans in Missouri House have tightened the dress code. Women CANNOT show their bare arms in the House and have to wear a blazer or cardigan or jacket. Meanwhile, no such strict dress code was imposed on men. 

"Yep, the caucus that lost their minds over the suggestion that they should wear masks during a pandemic to respect the safety of others is now spending its time focusing on the fine details of what women have to wear (specifically how to cover their arms) to show respect here," tweeted Democratic Rep. Peter Merideth.

What is even more fucked up, Ann Kelley, a Republican and a woman is the one who proposed this law. 

Women of Iran are fighting stupid dress codes and control by men, meanwhile Missouri House is going the opposite way!

Header : 1600x800 version aléatoire Palette terreuse, design complet. Contexte : Le temps passe sans qu'on y prête réellement attention. Il file à toute allure. Les événements de la vie s'enchaînent sans qu'on ne s'en rende compte : on vit notre vie d'adolescent, on entre à l'université, on obtient ensuite notre premier boulot, on quitte ce premier boulot, on rencontre au hasard la personne que l'on finira par épouser, puis les enfants font leur apparition, la famille finit par s'agrandir et nous, par vieillir. Mais parfois les choses dérapent. Rien ne se passe vraiment comme on l'aurait souhaité. Les disputes s’enchaînent et les papiers du divorce traînent sur la table du salon attendant une signature, les enfants s'en vont et on réalise que les choix faits des années auparavant peuvent avoir des répercussions. Des répercussions sur notre futur, notre avenir.
