“I shall consume all the ill fortune, that you are set to unleash”
Well I’ve finally completed digital painting of Whitehead from Ben Wheatley’s amazing film ‘A field in England’. This piece has absolutely tested my resolve when it comes to perseverance with a piece, but I’m super chuffed with how it turned out. I hope you all like it!

Katie Steed Art - A Field in England
Title - Flux of Time
Painted 29th and 30th March 2024
Acrylic, chalk pen, perm marker, and pencil
I'm really pleased with this considering it was made in just a few hours
(all of these blocks are 3.9ix3.9inches (or 10x10cm) and I struggle when it's a lot of detail in such a small space but I still like the dimension that I've managed to get despite the lack of colour.
I'm going to do what I normally do and give it a black border and write "I am my own man" around the border in chalk pen instead of writing it on this because I hate my handwriting and don't want to ruin it!
Will post WIP next.

Recently got some DVDs of movies that I'm excited to watch later (when I have the time that is) which are also from of my favourite hyperfixations rn/fandoms that I'm in! These include:
The 2 Ben Wheatley/Reece Shearsmith horror movies; which are "A Field in England" (2013) & "In the Earth" (2021) respectively
The 2 Monty Python biopic movies (or Pythonpics, I should say); which are "Holy Flying Circus" (2011) & "A Liar's Autobiography" (2012) respectively
Can't wait to watch them :)
