What about when they were ambushed and he checked on her the second they crashed, asking if she was okay? Or him laying out broken glass so that he’d hear anyone that came in to where they were sleeping? What about how he sleeps in between her and possible danger? Or taking his time to find her, despite being shot at, and having his arm across her back while he guides her to safety behind a car? How about how he started shaking when a clicker climbed in the car with her? Or how she shouted twice for him while being tackled by a runner and how he was prevented from helping her? How he was prevented from getting to her and meeting her where she is to comfort her and calm his own fears of worrying about her safety and well-being? Because they’d be in each other’s arms; a place where both of them aren’t afraid? You mean that?

My brain is being...unhelpful

#intrusive thoughts o'clock apparently #but simultaneously all of my professors put all of the projects in the same week #and i intended to work ahead but didn't manage to bc of work+health #and i don't mean just usual health stuff that I should plan for I mean like I was in the hospital #and then had a bunch of follow up appointments #and now it's almost the end of the week with a project in every class #and guess who has not made any progress #i don't know if i'll get any of it done and it's worth so much of my grade #the cutoff for dropping classes was literally last week #and i didn't think i would need to bc I was getting everything done DESPITE work and health #literally that's so good!!! #and yet somehow #this week #plus i have work tomorrow at 2 am #which is like a reocurring thing #but this particular week every time i have work scheduled I get anxious because I KNOW it will kill my day #how much time do you think i have around work when I need sleep + my health is bad #it is so hard to get things done in the gaps #i want to quit both my jobs #but i actually don't #i like working #school is just waaay more important #and i WAS managing #but now i'll probably fail because of this one (1) week #i always hate when a class is doomed because of missing 1 assignment #and this week is that but for ALL of my classes #they make projects worth like 20% of your grade #and then put them on the same week as all the other classes #which is also the week juuust after the drop date #like are you kidding me
