As a romantic asexual I headcanon just about every single character (and ship) I like as asexual/on the ace spectrum. I just feel there's not enough representation of non-sexual beings engaged in romantic love in popular media. I'd really love it if more stories explored good and fulfilling partnerships that thrive even without sexual intimacy. I'm not against characters being sexy or having sex I think it's just really neat when figures can exist and fall in love without a big part of the relationship revolving around fucking. I love when people, ace or not, can explore their sexuality on their own terms and set boundaries that are accepted and respected by their partners. I love when they realize they're more than their body and what their body is able to provide in terms of sexual fulfillment. I love emotional intimacy independent of the pressure of sex.

Guys, I made Four Arms a joyfriend (neutral term for boyfriend/girlfriend) and now I'm fricking--AAAAAAGGGHHHHH. Okay, so--

They're name is Morgan and they're a Tetramand

They're a nonbinary guy, and their pronouns are they/them; they're toric and MLM and polyam

Morgan is Manny Armstrong's younger cousin

They're a mechanic that helps fixing and building (such as making cars and repairing heaters)

They're still muscular like most Tetramands, but is somewhat a bit scrawny; they always wear a black tank top with pants of the same color.

They also have three other partners: a gay male Petrosapien, a trans male gay Kineceleran, and a bisexual male Pyronite. All of whom they live with together. The Petrosapien is a part-time scientist and technician; Kineceleran is a full-time pastry chef; and the Pyronite is a manager at an art and crafts store.

Morgan's family is also queer: has two grandfathers who are married and are Morgan's mom's fathers; and Morgan has three parents. Their mom is straight, nonbinary and demisexual (she/they, farmer), their dad is biromantic and asexual (he/him, also farmer) and their other dad is pansexual (he/him, and a farmer).

ok ok so . nitw is a fun and funky fall game , the protagonist is named mae and she's a cat person (they're all drawn as animal people but in every other way they're human) who's like 20 , she just dropped out of collage and moved back to her home town of possum springs and it's about her dealing with her past and readjusting to life there and figuring out stuff about the town and reuniting with her friends and it's about the meaning of life and our place in the universe and the nature of humanity and it's all combined and inextricable from all of itself and also the artstyle is really cool and there's a bunch of easter eggs and you can play the guitar :]

hmm... had to think about this for a while and talk about it with co-author, but here's what we got. we mostly base this stuff on how plausible it is in show/if there's evidence for it. with a dash of personal experience. This only applies to residuum, btw. I have different personal headcanons for these characters outside the comic.

april: lesbian. this is mostly based off of the fact that most aprils get with their caseys & the comment she said to dale. which could be taken as disinterest in dale specifically, but she seemed more concerned with impressing that popular girl earlier and that reads as more... saphic, i suppose. or at the very least homoromantic.

raph: raph is just raph. we look at him and basically just *tv static*. go crazy. all we got is jokes or stuff that has too little evidence to support. so, yeah, he's whatever you want him to be i guess?

leo: trans. already said my reason in the other post. also, gay. if gay were a power source he could power the entirety of the united states for five months straight without a single power outage. failing power grid notwithstanding (< thats the actual word. its supposed to be mushed together like that. wack.).

donnie: as much as i'd like him to be ace/aro spectrum rep, he just doesn't have the evidence in show for us to apply it to him in this comic. it's funny, for being hc as ace so often he sure is the most outwardly romantic/sexual turtle in the show lmao. one! cherry: "you're so cute, but you're so mean! why do i always go for your type?" two! astrogirl??
