why did you decide on the normal heart and scene 14 for the fic? is it a super popular play to do in theatre?

LMFAO no it is not sdfghj. great question. the only reason i chose to do The Normal Heart was because I'd read it super recently!!! and the reason i read it was because I had watched White Collar with Matt Bomer and i was like wow what a talent this guy is lemme see what else he's been in. and he was in the movie adaptation of The Normal Heart and i was like ?? omg ?? i love plays and also learning about the AIDS epidemic. lemme buy this play. it was literally the only thing i asked for for my birthday when i was 17 lol. and then i got it !! and i read it !!! and i absolutely fell in love with it !!!! and id had the idea for Scene 14 around that same time so that was the reason i picked it :) not bc it's popular or anything but just bc !! i really love it personally !! and it's also just an incredibly powerful scene. and i wanted the chance to describe it hehe.

it's kind of fun actually to go look back on the fics I've written and you can tell a lot about me and my interests through them hehe. like, Original Orpheus was during a time where i was learning how to perform that play for a theatre class !! and then in Moonstone you can for SURE tell i was taking a poetry class. and my stats class shows up in Wanna Share? and then in MiM you can definitely tell i was taking a human sexuality class dfghj.

yeah no i just chose that play because it was a little piece of me :)

i do unironically think the best artists of our generation are posting to get 20 notes and 3 reblogs btw. that fanfic with like 45 kudos is some of the best stuff ever written. those OCs you carry around have some of the richest backstories and worldbuilding someone has ever seen. please do not think that reaching only a few people when you post means your art isn't worth celebrating.
