#and that he's just using these people to help him get Kurogiri back

I think it’s funny that people are calling Shoji and the Heroes stupid because they put Kurogiri in the hospital. Was it dumb? Yes. It was a stupid choice, a choice we have no idea why they made.
But the 15,00 random heteromorphs attacking the hospital are just as stupid.
Here’s the thing, Hori did not explain why so many people got behind Spinner. This isn’t like with Stain who had his speech recorded and put online. Spinner just exists and I assume there was some news footage of him escaping with the LoV at the end of the first war arc.
Spinner has never made any public speeches about how he wants to help heteromorph people, nor have his actions ever hinted that that was part of his cause. His only claim to fame is that he is a part of the LoV/ PLF. The LoV certainly have never made their stance on heteromorph discrimination clear, and all there actions have only made things worse for literally everyone. The PLF/MLA want some sort of Quirk freedom, but it’s entirely based around better Quirk=better person philosophy.
There’s also the whole AfO thing. He is literally pure evil and that’s not really a secret. Before his public fight with All Might and getting put in prison his existence was kept on the down low, but what reputation he had was as a shady guy who ran everything from the shadows. Once he was arrested I’m sure a lot more came out about his past crimes (plus he leveled a city block and the Nomu are publicly his doing so whatever they do is linked back to him).
So, you’re telling me these 15,000 people just looked at a heteromorph, who is only known for working with AfO, the evilest villain of all time, and picked him to be their mascot for anti-mutant discrimination? These people watched and know about how the LoV/PLF leveled multiple city blocks killing and wounding thousands, upending everyone’s lives, without any show of fixing it and decide to join him? Why? He hasn't even shown that he cares about discrimination anyway--hell right now he can barely talk!
These people are obviously some of the dumbest people around, or they just legitimately want to kill everyone and this is their excuse. AfO has never been shown to be a supporter of heteromorphs--but even if he was, that’s not who they’re following. These people are only storming this hospital because they hard core Stan Spinner for no discernable reason, except he looks like them.  They don't care about Kurogiri--I don't even know if they understand why Spinner wants them to attack this place.
Are the Heroes dumb and even reckless for keeping Kurogiri in a hospital with innocent people there? Yes, they are.
But these 15,000 people are also, not just stupid but apparently just violent assholes. They looked at a guy helping to mass murder random people for seemingly little reason and they just decided to hard core Stan him, and do whatever he said even if it means killing a lot of people. Spinner hasn't even told them if this will help their cause, mainly because he is now a giant and can barely talk anymore. But I guess their mascot can just foam at the mouth and yell and that’s a good enough reason for them to shank sick people to get back a guy they don't even know.
No wonder Shoji is mad at them--they are absolutely idiotic and bloodthirsty.

I remembered your idea about Grimmjow mentoring Izuku and I have world building/background.
Grimm got to the bnha universe because some idiots were trying to summon a demon to kill some heroes and since there aren't any in universe the magic spell outsourced. The idiots did not survive their stupidity. Grimm is really annoying because he's pretty sure it's going to take at least a year to get home.
Finding and starting to teach Izuku delayed his plans, but not by too much. Grim figures he'll just wait for the kid to die and bring Izuku's soul back with him. Classic Arrancar adoption tactics.
Inko is a little uncomfortable with a demon adopting her son with a plan of making him another demon, but honestly Izuku's just so happy these days that she's cool with it. She does the paperwork to make Grim a distant relative.
People in the bnha universe don't really have reiatsu but they still have souls. Grim just has to teach izuku to reform his soul so it's bleach style instead. He's pretty sure that any of the many mad scientists he knows would tell him it's impossible, but izuka did it anyways so there.
For paperwork they claim that it's a family inherited work that is super finicky and requires a lot of control and often doesn't activate without life or death danger or knowing how to activate it beforehand. Which it is true, using reiatsu for stuff more complicated than "be stronger and hardier," let alone kidou, takes decades of learning. Even if hollow style kidou is easier to learn, it's not by that much. Grim mostly focuses Izuku on learning the basics of combat and maybe sonido.
Izuku ends up good at kicking people in the face like canon, but he also has throwing knives and a tanto to complete the danger gremlin evolution.
He kicks Bakugou in the face and breaks his nose. Their relationship isn't great but it's not as awful as in cannon.
Grimmjow is setting up connections with the villain community one day when he hears about some mysterious, powerful fucker called All For One. He hasn't eaten in a while, and that seems like someone no one will miss so he eats out for the day. The villain underground immediately falls into chaos but that isn't his problem.
Coincidentally, Inko's deadbeat husband finally stopped sending money. (Whether he's AfO or just some asshole who died in the chaos is up to you.) She shrugs and moves on. She saved and invested most money he gave them anyways.
Grim ends up running a dojo. First he just needs space to teach Izuku but I firmly believe that despite his general misanthropic tendencies he actually likes kids, so the whole thing balloons pretty fast. He ends up with this weird teenager who calls himself Dabi as an assistant, since the kid already knew how to fight pretty well.
With an actual support system Dabi ends up significantly less burned and significantly more sane. He works as a vigilante, killing marital and child abusers. He's really uncertain about what to do about Endeavor, because he wants to kill him but the man also scares the shit out of him, and he doesn't want to free his siblings just to put them in the spotlight. Grimmjow is less than zero help, but Inko gives him a big hug and helps him start to set up a legal case if that's what he decides to do. He's like Izuku's weird, obnoxious older cousin.
Speaking of the lov, Kurogiri got out and took Shigaraki with him when AfO died. They end up picking up the rest of the league overtime. All the kids try to convince Kurogiri to reach back out to his friends from when he was Oboro. They might or might not be vigilantes.
What are you talking about, this isn't a fix it fic.
The UA staff are deeply baffled when they meet Izuku's guardians: the sweetest little lady you ever did meet and what Aizawa is pretty sure is an actual, literal demon from hell. In hindsight, though, it makes sense.
Thank you for the idea! Sorry for shoving this thing in your inbox.
Never apologize because this is fantastic.

Shinsou: *baking a cake for Kaminari's birthday* Friends are a distraction
Shinsou: *in a group hug* Disgusting

Vigilantes Izuku and Shinsou: *watching the neighborhood kids play*
Vigilante Shinsou: Look at them. They're having so much fun. They're so happy
Vigilante Izuku: Yeah
Vigilante Izuku: How long do you think it'll be until they lose their will to live?
Vigilante Shinsou: I don't remember ever having one
Vigilante Izuku: Yeah, those kids are doomed

MHA chapter 420 rant
New chapter new rant it's become somewhat of a thing at this point 😭
So hori's out here deflating any stakes or tension as always. I personally hated what happend last chapter with Izuku losing both his arms but I did wish for hori to continue on the path he chose instead of completely reversing it with some bs in this chapter. Heck I don't understand how Eri even had enough energy to heal his arms considering it was stated chapters before that she couldn't and shouldn't help Izuku it wasn't her fight and neither should she be forced to watch what's going on but here we are.
Tumblr media
Heroes are hypocrites when it comes to Eri and she deserves better. Oh Eri the ever so lasting plot device. As someone that likes Eri's character and wished for her trauma and what she went through to be explored this is just bs and shows that the heroes are incompetent hypocrites at their jobs for allowing Eri to mutilate herself (the same thing overhaul did to himself) so she can be useful to these people who she views as her saviours?!?!?! Let's not even tall about the fact that ECTOPLASM stated that he helped her with that and allowed her to do that like?!?!? You're an adult who is supposed to be supervising the child and you almost failed to stop her from running away into the battlefield but allowed her to do that to herself. Let's also talk about how aizawa horribly failed as a guardian like its clearly stated in the chapter that she did want she did because she was inspired by aizawa and how he cut his leg off so she mimicked him so she can be helpful?!?! Aizawa isn't angry, worried or disappointed but shocked and that's it nothing else he doesn't even reprimand her like seriously 😑.
Tumblr media
Present mic and kurogiri deserves better. We still don't know where present mic is but he deserves better than this I still hate how his feelings aren't acknowledged in this bs and he is just there pushed to the side as support. Kurogiri is a mix at this point they seem to realise that oh oboro is dead he ain't coming back but kurogiri is acting on memories that haven't died and to be honest Iam sick of hori drawing the same memory panel over and over we should just get new content show us them play fighting or doing something that friends do idk 🤷‍♀️
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Wasted potential aizawa at this point. I lasted made a post about aizawas wasted potential but dam does it really show and basically at this point hori reduced all the characters involved in the kurogiri situation to just that and it's sad like we could of had more and we should of. Aizawa was doomed from the start as he was hori's mouthpiece which sucks
Tumblr media
Iam not a fan of everyone coming in to fight AFO. I already hate the fact that AFO is back but having everyone who hasn't had a big moment or can still fight yet come into the fight is horrible. Iam ok with having a few characters come in but having some endgame avengers type of thing is horrible especially because class 1A and izuku aren't shown to have a strong bond a lot of the time it's one of the reasons why the vigilante arc fails and why a lot of other moments concerning class 1A and izuku fail.
Tumblr media
Iam a fan of the civilians trying to help however they can but no inko?!?!!?!!. I loved that we got the page of civilians genuinely wanting to help Izuku and offering their shirts to stop the bleeding also even though we don't get much from the all might guy I genuinely loved the development he has gone through. Sadly, I was expecting to see inko in this chapter and considering we had a whole page dedicated to the civilians it's sad that we didn't get any update on inko as she was probably there watching what happend to her son
Tumblr media
Eri's dream. I loved that Eri's dream is something way outside of heroics and it's something that doesn't involve her quirk at all. It makes me remember of izuku holding her hand and telling her that he supports her dream. I wonder if Eri and jirou hang out often or anything considering that jirou is Eri's inspiration or if present mic also inspired Eri. it's sad that Eri's character is never truly explored considering what happend to her this chapter and the double standards that are with both heroes and villains.
Tumblr media
ALSO MONOMA YOU DESERVE BETTER YALL TELLING ME THAT DENKI ALREADY QUIRK EXHAUSTED IS OUT HERE FIGHTING BUT MONOMA CANT FOR SOME REASON IS VILE

“Let me help you” + Dabi @ reader after she gets injured from a mission (fluff)
“𝑳𝒆𝒕 𝒎𝒆 𝒉𝒆𝒍𝒑 𝒚𝒐𝒖”
EVENT DRABBLES
Dabi x Reader (tw: mention of blood)
Tumblr media
“Fuck!” you heard the curse spit out from his mouth as he ran towards to you. You had fallen on the ground, your hand pressed on the wound on your hip, blood already soaking your clothes. As the pain took over your body, your eyes remained glued on the arsonist, his face wearing a panicked expression as he reached for you. You’d never seen Dabi like this, he was usually the calmest, most nonchalant in the group even when things didn’t work out and plans failed horrendously, his face remained stoic and emotionless every single time. Nothing got a reaction out of him.
But this time, it felt like you’d just seen the rarest thing in the world happen. He was worried, he wasn’t even bothering to hide it anymore. And most importantly, he was worried over you.
“I-I’m okay!” you struggled to breathe. “Don’t stay behind! The mission is not over, the heroes are still ahead of us and if they-"
“To hell with those fucking heroes!” Dabi growled in annoyance, quickly reaching to inspect your wound. “Let me help you”
Accepting help from Dabi out of all people was something you never thought that would happen, mostly for the fact that he never offered it in the first place. Sometimes you even questioned if he actually cared for any of his comrades at all.
Though the answer was clear enough as he kept treating your wound as best as he could, preventing further blood loss until you got real treatment.
“Hold on a bit longer f’me yeah?” he said, noticing the way you were almost dozing off, your face already losing color. “You can do this c’mon, be strong for me”
You simply nodded, exhaustion and pain taking over your body. Kurogiri’s warp gate appeared on thin air, the black void ready to take you both back in the hideout. Dabi kept you on his warm embrace the whole time, his hand never leaving yours while your wound got treated. Thankfully it wasn’t anything major, though thanks to Dabi you didn’t lose much blood or that would’ve had an unpleasant outcome.
“You’re reckless” Dabi whispered as he looked at your bandages. He was lying down next to you in your bed, while your brain was going through the recent events. Specifically at the way he behaved towards you.
“And you’re weird” you replied. “I’ve never seen you be so worried over someone before. Not that cold nonchalant Dabi this time yeah?”
Dabi didn’t respond, simply rolling his eyes at your comment. Though his chest felt a bit tight, confused at those strange feelings he experienced when he saw you wounded. It felt like the whole world went dark, like nothing else didn’t matter anymore when he saw you hurt.
“I could care less about you” he scoffed. You gave him a knowing look, and all he did was smirk and get up to leave. The both of you knew what a big fat lie that was.

I have a question that’s been stuck in my head for a while? OK, so remember the episode of MHA where Kurogiri warps stain to the bar to meet Shigaraki so they can convince him to join the LOV and then stain stabs Shigaraki?
So imagine, what if Spinner, Dabi and Toga (separately) meet Stain BUT…… stain injures Reader (instead of Shigaraki) how would they feel if the hero killer hurt, they are beloved S/O?think about it??
Ohh yeaaa I remember that episode!
Ooooo yeah that’ll definitely set the mood for some killing dear- 😃 very intriguing question/request! Thank you! <3 :)
(gn reader since you didn’t mention pronouns or gender)
Spinner
Tumblr media
⚠️(i think) spoilers at the end of spinner’s I can’t remember if it’s animated or not 😵‍💫💫
The Gif is literally Spinner to stain-
literally nobody liked him before he joined the lov
as we saw in the flash back (I think it’s animated) he was a nobody sitting on his couch watching tv
he joined the lov and now has people that respect him, he started dating you?!
quite frankly the best thing that has ever happened in his life.
no joke this man would do anything for you
He will probably never see what you see in him because of people in his ear from his upbringing but he hopes you continue to see that forever cuzzzz he’s not tryna let you go anytime soon 😋💗
so when you got stabbed by stain? This man was the exact opposite of calm.
What do you mean you just stabbed the only person who loves him?!
this is actually such an interesting request because spinner admires stain!
this dude’s villain costume is a target version of his! (😭)
Yeah he definitely no longer looks up to him. 😐
infact he might find himself hating him 😗
that’s how serious it is!
he panics for a second then pulls out his katanas to defend you in case he comes back for more
he would chase him down, if you weren’t wounded
he instead sheathes his blades and asks toga to wrap you up (until he can get you to the hospital if it’s fatal)
he’s on the verge of tears and is shaking because he could’ve lost you!
there’s no way he could ever let that happen!
Is heavily disappointed in himself that he couldn’t react faster to protect you and ‘realizes’ how much of a weakling he is
vows to protect you even if it costs him his life
of course he was always willing to, but now nothing. and I mean nothing. is ever gonna hurt you again
will track down stain to talk to him and tell him that wasn’t cool (and he doesn’t necessarily curse him out but rest assured he didn’t use the words I did)
⚠️(uh spoilers I think) after he gains the army of mutation quirk citizens he feels much more confident in his abilities to protect you
you should too! His army cares about you nearly as much as he does! They view him as they’re leader and savior after all~
not to mention he for sure changes his villain costume to something else
He asks you to help decide the design and now he looks much more epicc 😎💪
Dabi (Touya Todoroki)
Tumblr media
Dabi is instantly heated abt it
like y’all invited him in here and he STABS his you??!
his lover?!
I don’t think so..😐
bro not finna let that slide🗿
he’s aboutta incinerate everyone and himself (again 😂-) trying to kill him
in all seriousness in a situation where someone he cares about gets hurt he does beat whoever hurt you before helping-
just because he’s angry
BROS SEEING RED- 😭🗿🤡
he does come check up on you after though
Besides he knows the lov will bandage you up
either Toga will do it (but she’ll take some of your blood) or they’ll take you to that hideous doctor dude that works for afo
If it’s a fatal wound he checks up on you a lot and subtly asks if you need anything
he’s not some softy, imma be honest, but he obviously does care
no matter what, he now wants to track down stain and reduce him to nothing but ashes
it doesn’t matter who says what. he’ll never forgive him.
and trust me when I say he’s the type of guy who could hold a grudge forever 😬
will tell you to sit out the next mission if your injury isn’t all the way healed by then
he commits arson to try and ease his anger a bit but after all he’s been through, hurting the only person he loves is the final straw.
he’s noticeable more irritated for a while and will try and kill stain on sight
the hero killer has been spotted in the prefecture? He bouta pull up. Bro is over in the mountains? That crazy cuz Dabi is too 🤷‍♀️
Toga Himiko
Tumblr media
Would be the angriest if Dabi wasn’t more hot headed (get it? Don’t get mad I had to) and if she didn’t like stain too- 😭
the fact that she loves to see you stabbed also comes into play-
But she’s upset she wasn’t the one to make you bleed
although this is all after she bandages you up
if the wound isn’t fatal she’ll probably unwrap you daily to admire you in all your glory 💉🩸😊
She tries to get payback by stabbing stain so it’s even but it just becomes a game of cat and mouse
meaning they’re both too swift and agile to get hit by the other
In the heat of the moment her first reaction is excitement that quickly turns to anger
as i said she’s happy to see your beautiful rose red blood but she didn’t get to inflict it ✋😤
Def woulda followed stain out the door to track him down if it weren’t for 1. Your wound and 2. Twice & magne stopping her
will lick the blood she cleaned
not fresh off the wound, but off the materials she used to clean you up
she knows it could give you an infection directly
and this is of course after your fine and dandy
she 100% tried to get as much blood into a container or syringe as possible
even if there isn’t a lot
If you have a quirk in particular
bonus if it’s a strong one
You two could pair up now!! Aren’t you happy? 🤗
if you are NOT happy and is upset with her for it, (I’m sure your not- your probably used to it in a relationship with her) she’ll gives you cuddles as an apology <33

Remembering your origins is a recurring theme in BnHA. Originating from Nana, it’s a rally to keep fighting, it’s motivation to keep moving when it all seems bleak, it’s about reigniting your dream—recalling the reason you started your journey in the first place. It’s used for Heroes and Villains both, to go Plus Ultra to truly reach your goals.
Tumblr media
Spinner experiences this too in the heteromorph mini-arc, but he first went through several false starts.
In Chapter 371, confronted by Shoji about giving a reason for trying to invade the hospital, Spinner can’t give an answer, mostly because his brain is overheating so he can’t even form a coherent sentence. He does remember receiving quirks from AFO that gives him the overwhelming power to force his way through the Heroes’ defense -
Tumblr media
but that’s the how, and didn’t really matter as much as the why.
It’s when he thinks back to Shigaraki (and note, only Shigaraki) that he gains a burst of strength to attack, because Shigaraki is the why.
Tumblr media
Spinner wants to help achieve Shigaraki’s dream of ‘destroy everything’, and so he’s willing to take quirks from AFO, and use them to lead the heteromorph riot even though he feels unsuited for the role.
That’s not enough to succeed in his mission, though. Spinner gets knocked around by Shoji, who then asks him again to give a reason, this time a broader one - why is he rioting, why he decides this is the path (one of violence despite the violence Heroes also wield to achieve peace) he wants to take.
Here, Spinner regained a bit more clarity, recalling a motivation from further back in his life, before he joined the League; the reason he joined the League in the first place.
Tumblr media
This time, he’s remembering the source of his discontent - heteromorphic discrimination. Living in a society that treats him less than human because of his quirk, living among people who would and had sprayed him with pesticide for daring to venture outside his house. Spinner took up his blades because he didn’t want to be that powerless hikikomori anymore. He wanted revenge, and he wanted change. Anything else than his previous life, where he was nothing - forced by his surroundings to be nothing- a nobody who wouldn’t achieve anything.
With that, Spinner gets stronger, enough to finally break into the hospital.
But again, it’s not enough to succeed in his mission. In fact, this time it’s an even greater failure. His followers have abandoned him, Present Mic manages to hit Spinner with a sonic attack that throws Spinner off balance, causing him to lose and break the tape recorder that was going to wake Kurogiri up, and then Spinner’s out of all juices - extra-quirk wise, physically, nearly mentally too.
In the moments before he loses consciousness, Spinner reflects.
Tumblr media
Why is he fighting, why is he doing all this? When and what had he found something that finally filled his empty heart—because that would be his true beginning, the true place from where his life starts?
It’s not his grudges; it’s not Stain.
It’s, of course, Shigaraki again. Spinner’s doing this for his leader, all he wanted was to follow Shigaraki.
Tumblr media
Though it’s a little different this time.
See, his final memory before he completely blanks out, it’s not a flashback of Shigaraki the leader he’s following, or Shigaraki the boss he’s supporting. In fact, when he’s thinking of those moments (him asking AFO who he is, him putting the hand on Shigaraki, him seeing Shigaraki writhe on the ground in pain), it’s as the things leading up to his current predicament of being separated from Shigaraki.
Instead, what ends up being the thing that he truly wants to fight for, enough that it pushes him past all his limits—
is the friendship he cultivated with Shigaraki as equals.
Tumblr media
Just two nerds bonding over video games. It’s a panel of the two of them. That’s the memory he recalls to propel him to finally succeed.
Spinner’s origin is the moment he became friends with Shigaraki.

#hold on#before the attack on jakku tomura and the lov's highest body count was in deika#meaning the lov had killed more VILLAINS than heroes!#what losers!#even chisaki killed nighteye!
AU where the LoV sucks so much at their job that they keep mistaken for heroes.
Oh my, this’ll be fun.
It first happens when Kurogiri is unavailable so they use a different warp quirk to bring most of the Villains into the USJ. Tomura and Kurogiri finally arrive when the fight is fully underway. This leads one of the villains who'd been just about to murder one of the students to jump at him, thinking he was a Hero coming to help. Tomura dusts him, then gets into a fight with some of his ticked off friends while AM defeats the Nomu.
In the aftermath, Tomura is believed to be a violent vigilante. He's furious and thinking of ways to get back at them, so he finally organizes the Hosu attack. However, he sees Stain attacking some Hero brats and decides that now's the perfect time to get payback on that guy. He lunges at Stain from behind, causing him to break off an attack that might have killed Iida. He's paralyzed and kicked to the curb and kinda forgotten about until Kurogiri drags him away like a sullen kindergartner. He's kept out of the media, but the Heroes assume he's a vigilante who worked to once again save the Hero students.
Finally Tomura has a plot to put himself on the map, the attack on the UA summer camp! He and the LoV attack! But Gigantomachia arrives first, attracted by the scent of the Little Lord. Tomura and the others fight him until he kinda walks away. Oh and Compress snatches Bakugo while nobody's looking. Finally, people will know them as the monsters they are!
Cue UA reporting that a band of vigilantes saved several Hero students by fighting off a kaiju which tragically kidnapped one of the students and teachers. Tomura only holds back from dusting the bar by the threat of Kurogiri confiscating his video games.
They place an unconscious Bakugo in restraints and decide to ask him to join them. Unfortunately the Heroes arrive just as Bakugo wakes up and they undo his restraints, leading them to believe they were rescuing them. Them being forcibly warped to AFO's location (presumably so he can kill them), then warped away when AM arrives (so they can't join AM in defeating them) further proves that they are totally good guys!
They become famous in the media, who track their exploits. They help bring down a powerful Yakuza clan, saving an abused little girl and taking brutal vengeance on the scumbag who abused her, they fight a kaiju in the mountains, they even defeat an entire city of evil quirk supremacist terrorists, allowing the authorities to swoop in and arrest them.
Tomura is at the end of his rope and declares that they're going to do something so brazenly villainous that no one will mistake them for Heroes anymore, or else he's giving up on villainy and becoming a vigilante! They're going to destroy a hospital and an orphanage! Dabi says he knows just the locations.
The next day the papers are proclaiming how the noble vigilantes have successfully exposed and destroyed the wicked operations of Kyudai Garaki who was operating an orphanage to manipulate innocent children into his own weapons, even killing them to create undead monsters in the hospital.
Tomura: Screw it, we're vigilantes now.

hey,, what’s up friends, I bring you... a literal summary of the Yabureme story up until around war arc events. obviously this is spoilery so if you don’t want to know what happens until the relevant comic pages come out don’t expand the post! this is just for people who don’t mind spoilers. also keep in mind that this is a summary so I kind of just. word-vomited. it’s... weird? short and sweet but not in some places. a literal mess. I put 0 effort into writing good and some sections are more wordy than others because I've thought them through for longer and have them more solidified. also things are subject to CHANGE between this and the actual comic pages so read with a grain of salt. the major events are probably gonna remain the same though. things might get inserted or removed. idk. also it’s LONG I’m so sorry. enj... oy ?? ?
Aizawa has been taken. Midnight and Nezu attempt to comfort Mic; there are no leads, but the faculty have already started working schedules out to help search, which reassures him. Though he is desperate to join the search, Nezu refuses to give his blessings until he knows Mic won’t act rashly. Mic hosts the Sports Fest in an attempt to ground himself and find unity with the students.
Hidden away, Garaki has begun his work on Aizawa. The injuries are bad; though Garaki is an accomplished and varied medical professional, he can’t do what Recovery Girl can, so Aizawa is merely stabilized and the bio-engineering in later dev stages will be relied on to do the heavy lifting. Aizawa suffers 2 days and nights of infusions (one for each new quirk) and barely powers through an intense fever on the last night. The capsule is the final and longest stage to allow the quirks to take hold and the body to heal. All for One is a regular voice in the background during the entire process, though those visits stop after an incident in the capsule in which Erasure activated for a solid ten seconds and strikes everyone in the room before going inert again.
Time passes with no news. Mic is becoming frustrated and less willing to listen to reason. Classes 1-A and 1-B attend their summer camp with Vlad and various other heroes that have substituted since Aizawa’s absence. Bakugou is kidnapped by the League in an attempt to recruit. Though the topic is raised, Shigaraki refuses to do more than tease Bakugou about his missing teacher, as well as use him as a bargaining chip. We still have yet to see him since his abduction. The mission to rescue Bakugou begins.
All Might engages in combat with AFO at Kamino. His weakened form is exposed to the world and he musters up his strength for the last strike. Instead, OFA fails, and all heroes present immediately know why. Edge Shot rushes to interrupt Erasure while Endeavor attempts to reach All Might. Neither get there in time and All Might takes a blow straight through his chest. Endeavor takes over the fight against a wounded AFO and Edge Shot engages in battle with Yabureme. Edge Shot is killed and Endeavor manages to subdue AFO.
Hours after the battle ends, Kurogiri searches for Yabureme, who has not reappeared as he was meant to. He finds Yabureme badly injured and hiding after his fight with Edge Shot and warps him back to where the League has taken up to recover. Shigaraki only knew that AFO had plans for Aizawa, not that Yabureme was to be a gift for him, but Kurogiri informs him of this. Shigaraki is unimpressed considering Yabureme’s wounds after only a single fight, but he’s going through some stuff, so he has license to be a bratty child for a night. Once Kurogiri hears from Garaki, he takes Yabureme to be patched up. Later he’s returned to the League, who as a whole are unsure about what to do next now that AFO is captured.
While everyone else is appalled to hear rumors that the supposed-missing Eraser Head was present at Kamino and had a hand in assisting the villains, Mic suddenly has a new fire lit under him. He breaks away from UA and strikes out on his own, against the pleas of friends such as Midnight. He manages to track the League’s movements after much work and finally sees Yabureme for the first time… but is unable to reach or speak to him as his quirk is erased during their escape.
Class 1-A witnessed Mic depart and, with the help of other pros, manage to convince Mic to let them help in catching Yabureme. He is very resistant to putting them in danger but relents with the alliance of Midnight and Gran Torino. During a previous sighting it was noted that Yabureme’s movements slowed and stiffened the more eyes were open on his body, so a plan is hatched to surround Yabureme with as many enemy quirks as possible in order to stun him.
Yabureme is located. He’s alone, which is odd, but not wanting to miss their chance, the operation is launched. Surrounded by what he believes are hostile enemies, Yabureme opens enough eyes to erase the quirks of every student, stunning himself. A short battle ensues; Kaminari is injured but proves instrumental in the discovery of a weakness in the Nomu: that an electrical current will force all of his eyes to close and subsequentially interrupt Erasure. Mic, Gran Torino, Midnight, and Class 1-A succeed in capturing Yabureme.
Too much of a threat for any normal prison containment, Yabureme is taken to Tartarus. They learn: about the nature of his engineering, that exhaustion has nearly killed him, that unlike every other Nomu contained so far he is not a corpse, and that three quirk factors were combined to create Yabureme. Erasure and Dupli-arms (or related) are confirmed, but the third is still being investigated. Because the third quirk is still unknown, containment is at a risk and a shock collar is placed to help mitigate any attempts at escape. The students are brought in to speak to him after everyone else, including Mic and Midnight, fail to get any response out of Yabureme. Unfortunately, the students are also unable to get through to him. Their failed efforts leave them dejected. Yabureme doesn’t speak a word the entire time he is inside Tartarus.
After a few days, the third quirk is activated by an unknown trigger. Yabureme and AFO escape Tartarus with the help of Kurogiri— the timing of the pieces prove that this was orchestrated from the beginning.
In the wake of the escape, Mic is told in secrecy that Yabureme has not removed the shock collar, probably because of its failsafes. It’s been tracked, and his location is known— a new operation is underway to recapture him. Mic rushes to get there first, finding Yabureme in solitude at an abandoned building, having split ways from the League temporarily to avoid getting them tracked while he tries to find a way to remove the collar himself. Mic and Yabureme have a tender moment, or so Mic thinks… but Yabureme slyly uses Mic’s obvious obsession with him to get the hero to take the collar off. Mic falls for it and Yabureme flees.
Though it seemed to be just manipulation, this kind interaction has left the first shred of uncertainty in Yabureme. He returns to the League and resumes his role in protecting Shigaraki and the others. A long period ensues where the League and the heroes play cat and mouse, Mic returning to society in order to accept help from friends and family rather than trying to go it alone as he had before.
Day after day, Yabureme’s doubts deepen as small things burrow into his mind: things like a song on the radio, a familiar black cat, names that he’s heard before. He can’t shake the face of the hero that spoke to him gently and had something warm in his eyes. He meets Eri, but seems to be merely a moment of warmth in her life before departing. Time passes.
The League grows frustrated with Mic, considering his constant interference as troublesome and annoying. Dabi sets a trap for Mic and attempts to kill him. Without any understanding of why, Yabureme takes the worst of the trap himself. He drags an unconscious Mic away from the inferno before collapsing with horrific burns across the right side of his body. Mic wakes in time to feel Yabureme’s heart stop, and in his anguish accidentally causes it to start again with the impact of Voice against the Nomu’s chest.
Mic manages to smuggle Yabureme to a hiding spot, containing him with the only thing available: simple metal handcuffs. Recovery Girl answers his call to the secluded site warily, unhappy that she is asked to keep such a dangerous secret. She stabilizes Yabureme and begins healing some of the burns, but considering his physical deterioration and exhaustion, can’t do much in one sitting.
When the Nomu wakes, Mic and Yabureme have their first real conversation, speaking mostly about the latter and how he’s feeling, what he’s thinking, and why Dabi, his supposed ally, would harm him so badly. He also points out that Yabureme could get out of the cuffs easily, and yet, for some reason, hasn’t.
On the second day, Recovery Girl returns, but so does a second guest: All Might. He is partially wheelchair-bound, the apparent repercussions of the wounds he took at Kamino. He expresses his unhappiness with this situation: Yabureme needs to be properly contained, not hooked to a chainlink fence with fragile metal handcuffs. Mic wants his blessing but plans to keep Yabureme here at least for a short while, highlighting the fact that he’s behaving more openly now than he ever did while in Tartarus. They notice Yabureme watching them and All Might speaks to the Nomu alone. He and Recovery Girl have agreed to give Mic a few days with Yabureme until his burns have been treated, but that he will be returned to Tartarus after that— and now that the third quirk is known, escape will not be possible a second time. He shares some belief that Mic is right that there is hope for Yabureme and that if anyone deserved a path back to normal, it was Shouta Aizawa. He urges the Nomu to try his hardest to remember anything he can.
In the ensuing days, Mic spends time conversing with Yabureme. Unlike the catatonic state he was in while at Tartarus, Yabureme is nervously conversational, answering questions and asking them on his own. He admits his confusion and doubts to Mic, and Mic learns that the whole reason Yabureme was unresponsive while at Tartarus was because of the lights and the intense head pain they cause, utterly decimating his senses and thoughts. He wasn’t shutting down because of his programming or a need to be disobedient— he simply could not function in those conditions.
The morning of the intake comes. Tsukauchi and numerous officers arrive to take Yabureme into custody. Mic attempts to keep everything smooth, warning Yabureme about their arrival and making sure that there aren’t too many men appearing at once. Yabureme nearly panics anyway at the sight of firearms, but is calmed when Mic holds his hands and gives encouragement. Yabureme is taken into custody without a struggle, though he shuts down when he’s led away from Mic.
Mic apologizes to Tsukauchi for hiding Yabureme, but is forgiven considering the relative ease of the capture. The detective promises to keep Mic with Yabureme as much as possible this time around, since his presence clearly helps. He also acknowledges Mic’s request for accommodating Yabureme’s aversion to the bright lights of the prison, especially with the confidence that it might help with getting information out of the Nomu. Yabureme’s shutdown reverses some when Mic reappears in the police transport to travel with him to Tartarus.
Yabureme and Mic arrive at Tartarus and the Nomu is immediately assaulted by the lights. He’s given relief in the form of a sedative. His wounds are checked over while he’s out: it’s discovered that his right eye took far too much damage from Dabi’s flames and must be removed before the dead material causes an infection, shock, or worse. The majority of the burn scars will be permanent because of the lack of proper immediate care in a supplied burn ward. Aside from a handful of new scars and wear and tear, nothing else is noted.
Yabureme startles awake, finding himself in a Tartarus cell with Mic at his bedside. The lights are dimmed rather than blindingly bright. Mic gives him the rundown of what happened, and proudly tells him that the hardest part, getting to the start line of his recovery, was over. He is questioned for the first time the day after waking, and though he is much more responsive to interrogation compared to his last stint in Tartarus, Yabureme still shies away from answering questions that would cause the League a disadvantage… though he is clearly conflicted.
So begins Yabureme’s long road back to someone he didn’t know he used to be. Mic becomes the only foothold of stability Yabureme has, finding that his physical reassurances such as hugs and hand-holding are intensely grounding. The second time he is questioned, he holds Mic’s encouragement in his mind, and manages to talk shortly about some of the Leagues’ hideouts.
He still has doubts about all of this Shouta Aizawa stuff, but Mic works him through stories of his past gently and at a slow pace. The first bit of information that helps Yabureme see that the possibility exists of a connection between himself and this other person is a story Mic tells about Aizawa feeding cats on the street; Yabureme shyly, but excitedly, admits that he does that a lot too. After this, things begin to come more swiftly. Mic brings him his wedding ring, and Yabureme asks to hold Mic’s as well, and remembers the sensation of them clicking against one another in his hand.
With Mic’s help, and the help of a therapist that meets with him daily, more and more begins to come back. Even memories he reclaims are left blurry and dull, but once the flood gate opens, it doesn’t close, and Yabureme’s progress quickens the harder he works. When his memories begin to focus on Class 1-A, he asks to see them. Plenty is still missing, but he apologizes for the things he did to them, focusing on Kaminari and the wounds inflicted during his first capture. He wants to work for their forgiveness, but doesn’t expect it. Midoriya mentions that he seems a lot more like his old self, which fills Yabureme with a hidden relief and encouragement.
Time passes. Yabureme continues to work hard at getting back to himself, and the image of Shouta Aizawa gets more clear by the day. His old mannerisms begin returning in small amounts: rolling his eyes at stupid things Mic says, muttering about things that annoy him. When he gets a surprise visitor, both Mic and Yabureme are surprised to find Kaminari requesting advice for a hitch in his hero training. As Yabureme converses with Kaminari in an observation room, Mic and Tsukauchi watch, and both are amazed to see the clearest image of Aizawa they’ve seen since before his abduction. Mic takes the opportunity to ask about a road that leads outside of Tartarus and, though Tsukauchi doesn’t shut it down, he admits there are many concerns— specifically regarding hidden triggers that might still exist inside Yabureme’s mind. An idea is floated: bring someone in with a voice-copying quirk, and see what happens when Yabureme is faced with orders from Shigaraki or All for One.
Yabureme (Aizawa? Yabuzawa by this point?) agrees to the experiment, though he is clearly discomforted by the idea, unsure of how he mind be effected. The experiment begins. Yabuzawa is secured heavily just in case, but he is clearly determined, if nervous. The voice-copying quirk speaks in Shigaraki’s voice first, ordering him to turn his head to one side. Yabuzawa doesn’t seem to have a problem disobeying, but when the speaker doubles down and becomes hostile about his refusing to obey an order, Yabuzawa spirals and has a panic attack. All for One’s voice cuts in with an order that is obeyed immediately, and Mic is only able to snap him out of it with a slap to the face. The results are clear: Shigaraki’s orders can be ignored with enough work, but AFO’s orders seem unquestionable. Yabuzawa is frustrated by his own perceived failure in the experiment, understandably upset that despite all of the progress he’s made, they still hold some power over him.
Time passes. Yabuzawa improves with his response to Shigaraki’s voice, though still shaken after being faced with it, can do so without panicking. AFO’s orders seem unbreakable. Mic once again breaks the topic of getting him out of Tartarus, and after some debate, it’s agreed that the UA students and the hero efforts (and Yabuzawa himself) would benefit more with Aizawa back in the world. By this time the unknown of the League and AFO and the PLA have long been poisoning society’s trust in heroes; Erasure can’t be hidden away in a bunker with tensions growing by the day.
Mic is permitted to confine him to their apartment under police guard for increasingly longer periods of time, regular check-ins and evaluations, and lots of rules. Yabuzawa isn’t permitted to be alone with anyone aside from Mic, and when outside of the building must cover his neck, arms, and hands. Finally, the shock collar is back as a last resort. If you read this whole thing you’re a certified #1 Yabureme fan sorry I don’t make the rules

Given how UA completely ignored the existence of the spy, what would you say is the most devastating way AFO or Shigaraki could have employed their spy to do the most damage possible? This is assuming hero plot armor won't save the good guys.
My knee jerk answer is a bomb, or poison or something... but that's not quite it. There's something else they could do, something even worse than that, which would take just a little more effort on their parts to do. It's a simple, three step plan; are you ready?
Step One: Have Yuga help get them into records (presumably he'd only be able to do so much, but he'd be able to get Kurogiri parked right next to the room simply enough, so he could take the filing cabinets or computers or whatever and send them to AFO to open with one of his Quirks). Find the homes of everyone, along with any other pertinent information (what Quirk do they have? Are there any heroes that live there? (Admittedly, that one may not be in records, but it seems somewhat likely)). For obvious reasons, this is before the Heights Alliance stuff, because among other things AFO needs to be free to act for this. Return all the records and leave no trace that they did this.
Step Two: AFO and Kurogiri make a night of visiting the students and staff at their homes, making sure to take steps for each Quirk to minimize how much time it takes, and the possibility of anyone noticing (student breaths fire? Prep the ice Quirk). And I mean all of them, starting with the OP bullshit of Aizawa who, yes, does in fact live in a house, with a phone number and information for people to find him because he has professional responsibilities as a hero and a teacher, underground or not (and fundamentally even an underground hero will have that stuff; people seem to think 'underground' means 'off the grid' when it's actually more, 'I'm bowing out of the celebrity portion of the job experience'). Since Aizawa is the most dangerous/important, start the raid when he's home and vulnerable, and just pipe some sleeping gas into his house, and then proceed from there.
Even assuming some are away from home for awhile, that should still be at least... half? Three quarters? Of the students who will be ambushed, have their Quirks stolen, or kidnapped for Nomu experimentation, depending on what seems more useful. If they aren't killed or taken, AFO then puts all the people asleep for a day or two, to keep them out of the ways so they stay under the radar as long as possible. Those teachers he finds will, of course, be killed after their Quirk is stolen because, you know, full fledged heroes. The two of them will do this as long as they can, taking as many Quirks and students as they can, until the news breaks, people lose their shit, and start responding.
Step Three: Profit. AFO now has a metric shit ton of new Quirks, many of which are useful, and including the one Quirk that is the biggest threat to AFO's plans, UA has been gutted of students, and without a doubt their reputation is destroyed beyond all salvation. Mass panic sets in as people realize how vulnerable their heroes are, how weak and imperfect and human they are, and that several generations of their most promising students are just gone in a single night. If he's really lucky, they'll respond by grouping the survivors in one place, letting him go round two on his shopping spree.
His plan done, AFO can now lounge back in his chair and laugh, trying out his new Quirks, while his doctor has a ball with his new test subjects and Japan falls into chaos.

A Helping Hand- Shigaraki x Reader
Tumblr media
This is mainly just a fluff story, but i think its very sweet. This is heavily inspired by Anigomi’s YouTube video ‘Shigaraki reverse comfort’ so i highly recommend listening to that!
(Everything in *__* is like an inner monologue! Kinda like a thought)
You were perched in the back corner of the League Of Villain’s hide out, you sat alone- observing as the chaos roared in front of you. The scene that was playing out felt uncomfortable to watch, it was disturbing to see such a bizarre group of abnormal people prance around as if they were normal. Over to your left, atop the bar stood Mr Compress displaying a range of magic tricks, bewildering Magne, Toga and Spinner who sat below intricately watching his show. A few stools down sat Dabi (clearly not one easily impressed by magic) hunched over the bar lost in his thoughts. *Probably scheming some fucked up revenge plot* You imagined. Then, in the back far corner sat Shigaraki. You could practically feel the irritation radiating from him from the other side of the room, you stared, glancing down at his hands, watching them reach to his neck, arms, or face-wherever he could reach before they began scratching. Kurogiri had previously asked if he was to any use to Shigaraki at all, to which he received no response. You let you eyes glance back towards the group, slightly distracted by Compress’ magic trick because, when you looked back, Shigaraki was gone.
You examined the room, wondering his whereabouts before spotting a door closing, *Where is he going?* you questioned. Without hesitating you jolted up, grabbed you bag and followed his trail. Kurogiri glanced your way as you approached the door. “Y/n, everything alright?” You threw a quick smile his way “Need some air” you remarked before going through the same door he had exited from. This door was the entryway to the stairwell which led to the roof, you paused. You waited and just as you guessed, you could hear the faint repetitive clang of his shoes climbing the stairwell, he was already a floor ahead of you so not being seen shouldn’t be an issue. You begun your ascent up the stairs, carefully shifting your body weight from each foot to try and stay quiet.
-You had been apart of the League for a while, though you cant seem to remember why, you suspect it was from being outcasted due to your quirk but you cant seem to remember the exact moment you decided to join. There was something about this found family dynamic that you seemed to enjoy, it made you feel wanted. You had always seemed drawn to Shigaraki though, since the day you joined. You couldn’t decide what it was, but there was something about him that you wanted to protect, that you vowed to protect. And thats been your self decided job ever since-
After getting lost in your thoughts again you made it to the top of the stairs, you pressed open the door and took a few steps onto the roof, the occasional wind was bitter and nipped at your skin but it was still pretty light out, you might even be able to catch the sun setting. You stopped in your tracks. *Where is he?..* you glanced around but there was no sign of him. After huffing and groaning for a moment a voice called from behind you.
“Why are you following me.” There. That tone of voice, you could tell he was pissed and so, you began doubting yourself, *maybe it was a bad idea after all to follow him*, you are aware of what he’s capable of, his capacity for evil and destruction was something you’d never seen before. You shrugged the thoughts away but remained quiet, waiting for him to say something else. “I never gave you orders or permission to come out here.” You winced and opened your mouth to respond but continued anyway “You know, i came out here to get away from everyone, all those people, and yet, now you’re here.” Nervously, you watched as he started scratching again. You shifted your bag on your shoulder,  adjusting its position before saying, “What’s got you so riled up?, like, what’s bothering you?” He stared at you for a moment, feeling a mixture of confusion and anger. He was sceptical about you asking about his feelings. No one ever asks about his feeling or opinions. Letting out a sigh he turned abit, slightly facing away from you.
“Them. The noise. It royally pisses me off. It makes me itch, fuck, its making me itch now just thinking about it” he raised his left hand to his throat and began scratching “they irritate me, i just, i could just turn them all into dust. I could just remake this league. I dont need them, i dont need their annoyance. I could make a whole new team, better than this shitty league filled with all these indecent people.” You switched your gaze from his face to the floor. *does that mean he wants to get rid of me too?* you wondered before stepping a few steps closer to him. You know you should be scared, terrified of the very thought of him disposing of you within a few moments but, you didn’t feel scared or nervous, you couldn’t really decide what you felt. You just wanted to know why you want to protect him, what part of this cold and callous man could you ever want to like or protect? He was now stood in the shade so naturally it was a bit colder, making you shiver. Oblivious of your movement he continued his rant. “I want to just press my fingers against their faces, and feel the tension of their body fade away as they crumble, their muscles and veins slowly decaying just so i can finally get my qui- HEY. WHY ARE YOU WALKING CLOSER?!” He raised his hands up, surprisingly not pointing at you though, and jumped back a step. “And then what?” You question as you finally reach arms length away from him.
“What.” His voice dropped lower, colder. You shrugged and continued “Blah blah blah so you finally get your-“ you pause. “Quiet? That’s what im presuming anyway.” He stayed silent for a moment, watching you, trying to understand you. “We’re you even listening?” He began, his voice raising again “I could kill you with my hand, my mere fingertips, in a split second, and you’re walking towards me?” You heard his voice shake at the end, causing a slight laugh to emerge from your mouth. You both stared at each other in silence for a few moments before he spoke again. “That’s not right.” You tilted your head slightly, confused at his words.
“What?” You replied, awaiting a response. A brief moment passed, “I dont think i could kill you” you freeze. *where was this coming from?* you raise your hand to interrupt but he cuts you off before you could even speak. “Down there- the bar. When i get angry i want to destroy something or someone, i itch and it’s annoying, it hurts pretty bad too, but-” he looked past you, refusing to meet your gaze. “Why is it that when im with you i dont itch, and i dont want to..kill..you? It pisses me off.” You slightly smirk before joking “im such an awesome therapist thats all” before raising a thumbs up in his direction. He groaned and you laughed before walking away a few feet, heading towards where the sun was setting, there was something about the subtle beauty of the sun that captivated you. You could be out in nature or sky gazing for hours. You could tell he was watching you, wondering what you were doing. You sat down cross legged before patting the floor to your right “Sit” you called out, waiting for his arrival, and sure enough, he followed and sat next to you, surprisingly not arguing with your word.
“So, what, you gunna be my therapist again?” His voice was a lot lower but you could tell his irritation was still there. “Hmmm” you hummed. *does he actually want me to or am I just pissing him off?* your thoughts were loud, clouding your mind, you weren’t scared of him, you knew you weren’t. You got lost in your thoughts for a moment and you felt unsure as to what to do next. Your body felt like it was on autopilot and without thinking you started raising your hand towards his face, slowly, cautiously, delicately. “I dont really care do whatever you-HEY WHAT ARE YOU DOING” he shrieked as you grabbed a piece of his hair and began twirling it around you fingers, it was softer than you imagined. This brought you back to reality and you realised what you were doing, “Im playing with..your hair?..” you replied warily. He turned his head slightly to face you, but not too much as to release his hair from you hand. “I can see that.” Shigaraki’s voice was blunt, but not hateful- for once. You stared at him, and you swear that for a moment you saw his gaze soften, just for a moment. After that moment had past he turned his head back, gazing into the distance “Whatever.” He grunted. You paused, letting the hair slip from your fingers,
“Sorry” you began “Do you want me to stop?..” Shigaraki flinched, repositioning his hands onto his legs. “No. Dont.” Even after hearing it you were hesitant. Wether you wanted to believe it or not you knew Shigaraki was a ticking time bomb. He was unpredictable, of course you were nervous. “Please” he added, his voice shaking and breathless, *was he nervous? Why?* you lifted both hands again, sorting through different strands and areas, running your fingers through his hair, gently, precisely, being carefull not to cause discomfort to him. Slowly he shifted and turned so his back was fully facing you. As you entangled your fingers in his hair you swore you could hear a sigh of relief or enjoyment from him, “Is this okay?” You asked, wondering if you were doing a good enough job. “Mmmhm” he hummed from in front of you, you couldn’t help but giggle, you enjoyed this calmer side to Tomura.
After a few minutes he sighed again, this time it was a sigh of..annoyance? You paused, you hands allowing his hair to slip from his fingers “This is stupid.” Those words froze you, *stupid?* this was the unpredictability of his personality shining through, but before you could analyse further he continued. “Not stupid, but, my hands. This is dangerous. Why are you doing this, one wrong move- from either of us, and you’re gone. Dont you fucking understand? Why do you keep getting close?” He was facing you now, his hands clenched in fists. He was angry, but not at you.
“Shigaraki” You smiled for a second before turning to get you bag which laid to your side. You opened it and stated searching “i got these, for you. I dont know, maybe they’re dumb. It was just an idea.” You pulled out a pair of gloves, but 2 finger gloves. They were made of a black silk and comfortably fitted upon the pinky and ring fingers as well as the palms. You handed them to Shigaraki. He didn’t move. You looked up, his expression was unreadable. “I-“ he began before carefully taking the gloves from your hands. He slipped them on and touched his jacket, his trousers, his shirt, then your bag, checking, touching everything he could reach. Nothing decayed. A faint smile grew on his face as his eyes met yours. “Oh and this” you began again, once again searching in your bag before pulling out a strong moisturiser.
“It might help, you could put it on whenever. Or i could show you? If you’d let me.” He nodded cautiously and you shuffled closer, he winced for a moment, throwing his hands away from you, clearly scared of disintegrating you. Carefully you raised you hands and grabbed his palms, now covered by the gloves and brought them down to you, stretching his arms out. You opened the moisturiser and rolled up his jacket sleeves, he drew a breath, a long, heavy breath before holding it for a few seconds. You put a small amount of moisturiser on your fingers before slowly rubbing it into his arms, slowly brushing down the scratch marks and breaking skin from his irritation. After a few seconds you saw goosebumps rise along his arms and you looked up at him.
“I- stop looking at me” he said, embarrassed but content non the less, you dont think you could remember the last time you saw someone touch Shigaraki, if anyone in the League has touched him at all to be fair. After finishing his arms you rolled down his sleeves, before asking “Is there anywhere else, you think you would be able to let me do?” He looked at you for a moment before opening his mouth, hesitating, then saying “my neck, and my face. They would be okay, if you’d want to” once again his breath was shaky. You let your arms drop for a moment and just watched, watched his hair slightly move in the now minimal wind, you watched the colours of the sunset rest upon his completion. The hues of orange and yellow settling on his hair, sliding down his cheek. This was a whole new side to him you’d never seen before. This is what you want to protect, you’d finally found it.
“Dont be scared” you added, in an attempt to reassure him, watching his cheeks redden as he turned away quickly. “Shut up, im not scared.” You shrugged your shoulders before acquiring more moisturiser on your fingers. “Move your hair please.” You spoke softly, and he complied, swiftly moving the shaggy ends of his hair from his neck, and that was your queue, you began rubbing in the moisturiser, hoping this could bring some peace to him- getting rid of some of the inflammation and pain should help make him feel better.
“Cold” he managed to mutter before he swallowed. You could see his Adam’s apple bob with his action, you could tell how anxious he was. “You’re a wreck.” You teased, before moving your right hand down to get more moisturiser. With your left hand, you turned his jaw and positioned his face to where you could easily reach the inflamed area. You watched out the corner of your eye as Shigaraki struggled to make eye contact with you, looking then looking away in swift motions. You finished with the moisturiser but your hand remained hovering over his cheek, you moved you head back, allowing him to regain his space and to your surprise he lifted his hand to meet yours before removing it from his cheek. “Thanks..” he managed. “You should head back, no doubt Toga will be missing you.”
“And what about you?” You replied as you handed him the moisturiser and began picking up your bag. “Dont worry about me, ill be down soon enough.” You started heading to the door but stopped in your tracks. *But I want to stay here* Eagerly, you spun on your heels and marched back to Shigaraki. Puzzled, her looked up at you and watched you sit down without saying a word.
You looked over at his hands, he was creating circular motions on his legs-he seemed happy nothing was decaying. *i did something right* you thought before placing you hand on the far side of his head and guiding his head onto your shoulder. Surprisingly he didn’t move away.
“I will be your helping hand Tomura. Im on your side.”

For the five ask game, how about an alternative universe where Izuku is a clone of aizawa? like he was a failed attempt at gaining erasure after afo failed to nab it the first time
1- Ujiko is unable to nab Aizawa but does get a dna sample. Unfortunately, he can't get a quirk factor out of it, but he figures if he clones the sample into a full human, then they can wait for the clone to have a quirk and steal it. In his tube, Izuku quickly goes through pregnancy and being weaned- he's taken off at about the age of 'two', because to accelerate his growth at that point would likely lead to damage. Since no one in this organization knows how to handle kids, Izuku's dropped off with Tomura who's under strict orders to not decay him.
2- this lasts about three years, when izuku is 'five' and has still not shown a quirk activation. He has no quirk factor on testing, and a few other differences between himself and the man he's a partially complete clone of- type O blood being another. (I guess Aizawa only had one B allele. its weird but. technically not weirder than Shoto's blood type thing.) Now a failed investment, AfO must figure out what to do with Izuku- his cloned and quirkless body would not make a good nomu base, those do better when they have a quirk factor to begin with.
3- but Tomura is not happy- Izuku is.... his belonging, because lets just go all in on the AfO and Yoichi parallels. like he's punted Izuku like a football, but he Will attack anyone who tries to take him away. AfO realizes this could be a useful tool for grooming, and tells Tomura that if he's a good little murderous villain, he'll get to keep Izuku, but if he's bad and disobedient, he'll be grounded from him. Izuku's opinion on the matter is not asked. Since being grounded also means losing video games, whenever Izuku is taken away from Tomura, he's basically stuck in an empty room with a game cube and Kurogiri dropping off food. But turns out those video games are a great medium for Izuku to realize he sure wants to be like the cool protagonists who are heroes and help people, even if he's half convinced there are actually only like, five other people in the whole world.
4- As the years go by, Tomura 'loses his Izuku privileges' less and less often, and also Izuku plots his escape. When AfO is turned into a mashed potato, he runs. Tomura demands where he is because its not like any of this is his fault to punish for, and AfO is like 'uhm. yeah hold on. kurogiri what do you mean you dont know where he is.' so now Tomura is really mad and goes on the hunt for him, ignoring everyone else. AfO bemoans not giving a quirk to izuku in order to track him, then remembers that actually he didn't want to waste any quirk and shrugs, telling the other two to deal with Tomura and get them both back.
5- Izuku runs until he passes out, and a concerned woman calls an ambulance. at the hospital he doesn't have much info to give the worried people when he wakes, just "oh, yeah, my name's Izuku because Tomura doesn't like to share his last name and I think it sucks anyway since it's sensei's. But i ran away because i don't want to kill people or be stuck in a vault alone again. Uh no i don't have any family, oh except pro hero Eraserhead. can i stay here?". The hospital takes a blood sample in their examination and call the police. However they can't do much more before them logging that tips of Ujiko, who tips off Tomura out of sheer annoyance, and the kid shows up at the hospital threatening to dust everyone if Izuku doesn't come back with him right now. Izuku apologizes for the trouble, and agrees. Eraserhead is called to the hospital to give his own dna sample and is deeply concerned by the fact that it's a match and also everything the boy said. but hey, now they can start looking for him!

MHA 418 rant
Oh my where do I start with this chapter?
So after all that they're somehow still in an imaginary place thing whatever? So like after all that barrier breaking thing last chapter they're still in the same imaginary place and it hasn't came as actual time travel type plot. I guess Iam ok with that but like dam what was the barrier breaking supposed to represent another way of izuku getting to shigaraki and getting through his bs power of hate and rejection?!?!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Why is it that all of izukus memories have to directly relate to Tenko? Ok like why is it throughout this whole fight and encounter Izuku only shared like one to two memories about himself but they still weren't directly about him like we got the todoroki fighting him at the sports festival and I think that's it. Also why is it that these Memoires specifically are highlighted like they don't impact izuku directly for him to remember them. Also shouldn't at that time izuku be like a 2 year old or something so how can he remember that. Why does he remember it? Was he in that conversation like did his dad take him and he saw kotaro and all that gist or was it not Izuku's memory at all but just vestige AFO's
Tumblr media
Dfo basically confirmed. So the mysterious guy who kotaro met with that's apparently AFO does actually tick off a lot of the checkpoints for who hisashi midoriya really is. My theory is that the man kotaro met with was either afo aka dfo canon or it was hisashi but he works for AFO. Also how does this impact izuku like he never got to fight AFO or interact with him properly (even though they share a lot of parallels) that role was given to bakugo. How will izuku react? I doubt horikoshi will give him the autonomy to do something.
Tumblr media
Hori had to humanise shigaraki so we got the other memories. All of this interaction is basically a huge spotlight on shigaraki and there to humanise him. All we see is the league standing next to him all together and people are thinking that this is some found family type of thing when Iam thinking that they look like soldiers taking or waiting for orders from shigaraki. There's also the baby Tenko memories to show Tenko playing around with his two friends that don't even contribute much to plot. We then see him freak out about Mon chans death and all that to humanise him
Tumblr media Tumblr media
After everything and Mon chan still had to die. Iam just salty about it like why does the dog always gotta die for some reason?!?! Mon chan deserves better
Tumblr media
How did Izuku go from middle schooler to child. Yeah that was some drastic change personally I dont get how izuku went from highschool to middle school to child is it just supposed to be some abstract imagery if it is I wish it was executed better.
Tumblr media
Shigaraki is dying? Crumbling apart? And AFO is back??!?!?? So we see shigaraki basically decaying from the inside out somehow is this supposed to represent Tenko coming to light while the evil and irredeemable shigaraki dies which dam hori really has it out for shigaraki. I vestige afo was dead or he was just dead I get that he was gonna come back but at this point he is like a parasite in the show I just want him gone for good at this point. Maybe shigaraki will kill him and we will get another variation of the dog biting their owner or some stuff like that
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Poor izuku. I JUST REALISED THAT IZUKU NOW CANNONICALLY IS QUIRKLESS AND LOST AN ARM?!?! AN ARM ALL THEM THEORIES HAVE BECOME REALITY AND I HATE IT. ALSO IF THIS IS AN IMAGINARY Place Then HOW THE HELL IS IZUKU Being DECAYED HAPPENING TO HIM IN REAL LIFE AND DUE TO THE QUIRK AWAKENING THAT TENKO GOT SHOULDNT IZUKU BE SLOWLY DECAYING ALL OVER?!?!?! NVM IZUKU IS BASICALLY ALSO DYING DUE TO DECAY THE GUY LOST BOTH HIS ARMS HELP
@doodlegirl1998 just brought up the fact that kurogiri was done injustice again as he is legit the only major lov member that isn't shown directly to us in shigs memories.
In conclusion MHA is going down hill

CG!Kurogiri Headcanons
(with multiple regressors)
Tumblr media
After the war, there were many, many things that needed to be fixed and sorted. Societal structures concerning crime, justice, and people. Once the dust settles from the second war that already near-insurmountable list of things somehow only managed to increase. And Kurogiri—Oboro?—just so happened to be one of those things that needed sorting out. All of the villains fall onto the list technically, but he's...a special case. A special case that is infinitely complicated thanks to the fact that Oboro has finally been "reawakened", leading to the two personas within him to begin to merge into something new. Not only is the change metaphysical, but it is becomes exceedingly apparent that it's a physical one as well—the omnipresent smoke surrounding his body finally begins to recede, at first only in patches but soon enough there is no denying who is under all that mist once it becomes more controllable. Which is exactly where the issue comes in in regards to his innocence, and more specifically what should be done about him. Or with any of the villains for that matter. Locking them away in Tartarus obviously didn't work (not that the place is even remotely functional anymore), and the people demand a system reform, so what does that leave? Why, a shiny new villain rehabilitation program! A program that Kurogiri qualifies for no problem, and a program that really allows him to try and figure out who he is now. Bridging the gap between Kurogiri and Oboro is both harder and easier than he expects, but finding common ground helps. One of the strongest things that seems to be a constant between the two? His ability and desire to care for others! That caregiving instinct wasn't something that AFO and the doctor could drive out of him, and instead actively used once it became apparent that it wasn't going away. So once he reaches a certain milestone in his rehabilitation program and is cleared for it, he starts acting as a cg again!
The decision isn't one without its own challenges, no matter how eager he is to regain some sense of agency over his interpersonal relationships. Primarily because that caregiving instinct is pulling him in a couple different directions. But as Tomura is still undergoing rehabilitation (and medical treatment, due to what his body went through during the war), one direction starts to pull more strongly given that it is both more readily available and encouraged by several outside sources (namely his therapists and the newly restructured Hero Commission). That direction of course being Shouta. And it isn't as if he hasn't been spending time with him; he's been by his side for all of this, even before he started remembering things. There's a lot of discussion beforehand that sees to Shouta middlespacing by the end of it, but it's decided that they both would like to try sharing that space with one another again and that it would be beneficial for both of them. In the safety and seclusion of Shouta and Hizashi's apartment, it's all too easy to slip back into habits thought long forgotten. And as Shouta clings to him, he can't help but feel he's regained another part of himself as he strokes a hand through coarse black curls. During this Hizashi acts as a mediator of sorts just to keep everybody safe and happy, but it doesn't take Oboro more than a moment to piece together that he must have stepped in to fulfill that cg role for Shouta after his "accident". Something is a little off though, something he can't quite place yet, about the way Hizashi can so easily get on Shouta's level in a way that he himself cannot. But it's sweet to watch how easily Hizashi can take his hand and lead him towards the kitchen with an excited if not somewhat conspiratorial whisper that earns him a soft giggle and a nod, and so Oboro doesn't question it too hard (nor does he mind giving them a headstart on whatever trouble they're up to).
It takes far longer than he would like, but after several months Kurogiri is finally given the opportunity to reconnect with Tomura. He has received updates on his recovery, sure, but Tomura wasn't allowed contact with anyone other than his doctors. After everything AFO has put him through mentally and physically, the poor boy is left feeling raw and wrung-out. These feelings in turn lend to Tomura spending a lot of time regressed more often than not, occupying a sleepy babyspace. And the only thing he really wants now that everything is all said and done is his papa. It's more than enough to tug at Kurogiri's heartstrings, and it's also more than enough to spurn him into asking for something out of pure self interest. Because he wants to help. Making such requests is still something he is trying to be more proactive about as part of his own ongoing recovery, and he wants more than anything to be a part of Tomura's recovery too. And once all the legal red tape is out of the way, he's approved for visiting hours! Much like how one might go visit a kitten at a shelter that they are planning to adopt once it is old enough, Kurogiri gets to visit Tomura periodically until he can be cleared to come home—because with help from Hizashi and Shouta, Kurogiri has been working on making a space that Tomura can call home. And every time he visits he makes sure to bring Tomura a small treat, taking note of anything that the boy seems to really like and cross-referencing it with the small list he used to keep when it was his purpose to mind after him, not his choice. He finds there are things he's adding to that list now that it is his choice, things that were filtered out before for being "unnecessary"—things like stuffies when he notices how Tomura tends to hug onto a throw pillow, or pacis when he sees that he still sucks on his sleeve when he's nervous. Which he seems to be doing a lot of, though understandably. His papa looks a bit different than he remembers, after all! Is more open with his emotions, too. But Kurogiri is sure to reassure him that while some things have changed, the fact that he cares deeply for him is something that has not and never will change.
To continue with the kitten analogy, once Tomura does get to come home there are some challenges. Challenges that primarily take the form of "let the kittens sniff each other through the door so they can get used to each other". Even Oboro knows it won't go perfectly smoothly, though that recovered optimism of his is hopeful. And it isn't as if Shouta hadn't had time to get used to the idea—he and Hizashi both had went with Kurogiri to visit Tomura a couple of times even!—but it's different once it's happening. They both know that Tomura wouldn't do anything to hurt them now. But suddenly he feels like maybe it's asking too much of Kurogiri, and he thinks him and Zashi have been fine on their own for a really long time now and, and... And it only takes the one occurrence of him and Tomura being regressed at the same time for any worries like that to be forgotten. Oboro doesn't play favorites and makes that abundantly clear from the start. If one gets something, then so does the other. It helps that both boys seem to fall within the same regression range as well. Their first "sniffing each other through the door" regression session consisting of getting them both comfortable on a cozy blanket pallet in front of the TV and putting on some baby sensory videos for them to doze off to, bottles of chocolate milk and vanilla milk given to the correct baby (because Oboro has his little ones' personal preferences down pat!). Hizashi even helps make sure things go well, which means the world to Oboro. He brings Tomura his stuffed bunny before settling down next to Shouta, sitting criss-cross applesauce as he hands him his Chococat and pulls him into his lap for a hug—an act that Oboro finds endearing of not a little overprotective.
Although this brings us to the fact that there is one little piece of the puzzle that Kurogiri really, really should have connected sooner. And that is that he doesn't have two babies on his hands, but three. As it turns out, Hizashi was filling a cg role for Shouta like he had thought—on occasion, that is, when Nemuri wasn't available. Other times however, he was filling the role of playmate! While Oboro is a bit hurt that Hizashi would keep that from him for as long as he did, he can understand why. Regressing wasn't something Hizashi did before, and it was something he was trying to do less of after they lost Nemuri (at his own detriment). Plus it wasn't as if he was hiding it totally! In hindsight he realizes Hizashi had been middlespacing a lot as if to test the waters. He was good at getting on Shouta's level (and later Tomura's) because he was close to it himself! Oboro can see now that he's been playing the part of his little helper more than that of his fellow cg. Though Hizashi is the master of maintaining a persona, even he can't always hide those little slips. Everything clicks into place during one such little slip when they are having playtime that he notices the blonde's fidgety fingers, the longing look he is giving to the blocks the other two are playing with, the way he chews at his bottom lip as if to distract himself from wanting more than he thinks he deserves. And Kurogiri can relate to that feeling of wanting more but needing permission. Tentatively he finds himself ruffling Hizashi's hair, afraid he might be making a mistake with the way he tenses up but pushing forward regardless. Low voice quietly telling him Go on, why don't you play too? I think they would like that. It's okay, you know. Those words being all the encouragement Hizashi truly needed to let go, to go somewhere decidedly smaller. And Oboro takes in all the subtle and not-so-subtle changes, like the way his words run together and the way he bounces in place. Falling in that toddlerspace range means he's a lot more high energy than Tomura or Shouta, but Kurogiri knows he can handle it.
Three babies spells trouble for poor, poor Oboro however. Not that they always regress at the same time (though it turns out it's rare that Hizashi and Shouta don't regress at the same time), but when they do? Trouble. So much trouble. It's the Hizashi factor. Because Tomura and Shouta? Sleepy babies 85% of the time, no troublemaking there. It's when Hizashi gets thrown into the mix that great incidents of baby mischief occur. Shouta is always eager to follow his lead, and it's only too easy to get Tomura swept up in their infectious chaos. Really, it's hard for Oboro not to get caught up too...until he remembers that he's the adult here and that they probably really shouldn't be cramming Hizashi full of crayons. Kurogiri can only watch in a horror-filled fascination for several seconds while Hizashi devours the crayons paper wrapper and all as he gives his review of the flavor (much to the amusement of the other two) before his brain catches back up to him, but the short timespan is enough for several more crayons to disappear. Razzle Dazzle Rose and Screamin' Green being the latest two additions to Hizashi's stomach, the former apparently being "way more nummy". Tomura is already handing him another to try (Robin Egg Blue, this time) and Shouta is shoving the box of 120 (more like 100) crayons under his shirt by the time Kurogiri is crouched beside them with a handkerchief and the gentle instruction to spit it out, please. All that earns him is a stubborn little boy shaking his head no, his attempts to convince him only causing him to chew faster and swallow the colorful wax anyways. He is (rightfully) appalled when he then proceeds to stick his tongue out and scramble away with a laugh. It takes little convincing to get Shouta to give him the box so he can count just how many crayons are missing, as the four fingers Tomura held up at his question seem unlikely. Given that he counts a remaining 89 crayons, the resulting belly ache is no surprise, nor is the rainbow barf that colors the living room floor. The day ends with a trip to Recovery Girl's office that no one is particularly proud of, but mistakes are only human (and no longer a punishable offense for poor Kurogiri).
While there may be more bumps in the road that may or may not involve eating crayons, returning to caregiving and finding his footing there only leads to Oboro putting more of his life back together and moving forward the best he can. He is still navigating the harsh reality of what happened to him while building those vital relationships that remind him why everything will be okay, that he isn't alone in the dark any longer. Nor does he ever have to be again, the gentle warmth of living seeping into the spaces all around him in his new life. Taking the form of the delicate scents that waft up while he folds Tomura's softest onesies that smell like the Dreft they were washed in. Or of the way Shouta's cat knows just when to rub up against his leg with a purr when he needs a bit of grounding in reality. Or of the Legos that Hizashi has left scattered across the coffee table that cover up some paperwork for his radio show. All of these things makes his life feel comfortably lived in for the first time in a long time, rather than the constant, cold distance and apathy he was forced to maintain. His heart can finally breathe again and seek the connections that bring him so much comfort. Though he has lost much he has also gained plenty, and while it isn't easy he wouldn't change his circumstances. There are still a lot of things Kurogiri is working on of course, but at least he can say he is working on them with those that he cares about most in this world.

Shigaraki Tomura/Reader
hints of depression
dark content
I don't know how to make notes, yes sorry
in general there will be rape and bullying and very sad topics
not for persons under 18
I don't speak English, so I use a translator yeah sorry about that
Tumblr media
Breathing heavily, you ran forward, sometimes looking back. Every time the silhouette from behind disappeared from view, you stopped and nervously looked around. Your strength was already leaving you, and each such action gave you a chance for a break. Fear enveloped my entire body. I wanted to cry and scream from resentment and injustice. Stumbling, you cursed the day when Dabi came over to “just chat about this and that,” and you still agreed. Who knew that this would end up causing such a reaction from the head of the League of Villains?
You first met him about six months ago. Sitting under an abandoned bridge in some forest, you looked at your feet. There was no longer any strength for any hysterics or banal tears. Everything was going wrong and I simply didn’t have enough strength.
Bend your knees and sigh. You were thinking about how to end your suffering. You are weak. Always been like this. And you understood this. All the people around you constantly told you this. You recalled out loud all the words that your loved ones said to you.
- I think they are right...
You winced. For a second it seemed to you that a homeless person or some kind of crazy person was standing in front of you, but having a better look at the person standing opposite, you realized that he was an ordinary guy, or rather, not quite ordinary: there was some kind of plastic hand on his face, he was dressed very simply, but it’s clear that it’s dirty—both the clothes and the guy himself looked shabby, but you can’t say he’s homeless.
- Who are you? — you asked him in a whisper.
The guy looked at you silently. It was difficult to notice, but the guy looked at you appraisingly.
“It’s a quirk,” the guy said briefly.
- What? - You are perplexed.
— What quirk? — The guy seems to have already started to boil.
- *your ability*
- Not bad... Very good... - the guy fell silent again, lost in his thoughts.
You didn't dare say a word.
— You want to die, right? — the guy suddenly asked.
— Something like that... It’s better this way than to suffer all your life and...
- So yes or no? I don't care what happened there.
- Yes..
- Wonderful. Since you still have no meaning to live, I will give you this meaning. If you work for me, I will need you.
— I guess I have no choice?..
- Well, I can help you end your miserable life, or give it meaning.
- Then I agree.
After that you started working for him. A little later, or rather in the not-so-distant future, you found out his name and Tomura’s approximate age. Working for Shigaraki turned out to be very difficult: for any offense or disobedience you were severely punished, so severely that sometimes there was no living space left on you. Shigaraki's favorite torture was hide and seek. The guy would choose some abandoned building and give you some time to hide. Most often it was 4 seconds, sometimes, when he was in a fairly high mood, he would give 5 seconds. When he found you, he gave you another 2 seconds to run away from him, and then it was more like catching up.
And now you were running away from him. And the situation that caused everything to happen is completely unimaginable. For the first time in a long time, you met with the entire League. Before this, you only knew Kurogiri. You were given special attention by Dabi, a strange guy who kept trying to “get close” to you. Understanding perfectly well what awaits you, if you let him get even a millimeter closer to you, you will get in trouble, you tried to stay away from him. Shigaraki never took his eyes off of you when Dabi was around. Giving up, you supported the conversation about medicine and later regretted it. Slamming his hands loudly on the table, Tomura came up to you and, taking you by the elbow, led you somewhere.
According to Shigaraki, today you had to pay for your behavior. It was not difficult to guess what awaited you.
It began to rain suddenly. And so, from accumulated emotions and fear, my legs began to tremble treacherously. You slipped and fell. It was painful, offensive, I wanted to scream and cry. You no longer had enough strength to do anything, but you stubbornly tried to get up. As a result, having accepted your inevitable fate, you turned over on your back and began to wait for the guy. A little time passed when he was already standing next to you. Taking your hand, Tomura forced you to stand, and when you were already standing on your own two feet, he pressed you against the wall. Cold, wet and dirty, you did not resist at all. Shigaraki did not stand on ceremony: he forcefully sat you on his knees, unzipped his fly, and began tapping his dick on your face. Already knowing what awaited you, you obediently opened your mouth, while closing your eyes. Tomura grinned.
- You're acting like a whore! So she just opened her filthy mouth to take my dick...
Shigaraki put his penis in your mouth and, moving his hand to your neck, squeezed with force, sticking out his little finger so as not to kill the girl ahead of time. You whimpered but shook your head in agreement.
- Come on, work your dirty mouth to please the one you are obliged to please! — Tomura pressed down on your head with force.
No matter how much experience you had, it was very difficult to take it. You began to move your head, swallowing the cock to satisfy Shigaraki. It was unbearably painful and disgusting. When you couldn’t bear it anymore, you started scratching him.
Slap in the face. Tomura grabbed you and pulled you to your feet. Pressed against the wall again, you tried to make as little noise as possible. At this time, Shigaraki had already torn his underwear and entered sharply. The pain was unbearable. Even more unpleasant than when he pounded into the throat. Shigaraki began to move quickly and jerkily. You wanted to scream from the pain spreading through your body, but you understood that this would only get worse.
- Hurt? You deserve this pain. You should feel everything that I felt when you chatted with this garbage. — Shigaraki grabbed your face and brought you closer to him. - Pathetic whore!
It's disgusting and offensive. You understood that you were really pathetic, but you couldn’t do anything about it, and even if you tried, you would make it worse, especially since you already tried and got it badly. There was only one thing that bothered you: everything he said. Is he... Jealous of you? He was jealous of you and Dabi. If he’s jealous, it means... He loves... A smile appeared on your face. Noticing that you were smiling, Tomura was taken aback.
- Why are you smiling?! You must feel disgusting and unpleasant! You must hate me!
“You’re in a lot of pain right now too...” you said barely audibly. - If the fact that it hurts me makes you feel better, then fine, I’ll endure it all...
- What?!
Tomura tossed you aside. Pulling on his clothes, he came up to you writhing on the ground and, sitting on top, grabbed you by the neck and began screaming.
- Why are you smiling?! Stop it! You must beg me for mercy! You should cry and scream, not smile! Stop it! — the guy stopped shouting and continued absolutely calmly. “I’ll wipe that stupid smile off your face forever!”
Tomura moved his hand towards your face. When the fingers were almost touching you, you whispered just two words
- Love you…
The last two words, and the body began to turn into ashes. Tomura watched with absolute incomprehension as your body turned to dust. When he realized what had happened, the guy began to shake his head to the sides and scream.
- No no no no no! You shouldn't have died like that! Why did you say that?! Do you want me to suffer even after your death?! I hate you! I hate it! I hate your stupid eyes! I hate your stupid hair! I hate your stupid smile! I hate you!
A sharp stream of wind lifted what once was you into the air, and the ashes scattered across the sky. Tomura rose to his feet and wanted to run after the ashes, but stopped. There is still something left of you on your hands. Raising his hands up, the guy let go of the ashes, which were immediately picked up by a stream of wind, and they scattered across the sky.
- I hate you! - Tomura whispered, smiling sadly.
Shigaraki turned around and went back. You'll have to explain where and why you disappeared... And you'll also have to look for new people for the League... Kurogiri will have more work... Toga will pester you with questions... And Dabi will make jokes and sarcastic remarks as usual...
And also loneliness...
He will be lonely again...

of people you loved
pt.2
actually, dabi wasn’t your first love. tomura was.
now, it wasn’t a sectret at all, yet very few people knew. you bet, kurogiri knew every detail, but again, kurogiri knew everything. spinner knows, probably, because of how close he’s with shigaraki now. maybe toga had her thoughts, you never tried to hide anything from her.
it wasn’t bad, to be in love with shigaraki. definitely not as bad one could imagine, let alone ideas he may actually murder you for being his ex. you were never official to begin with, and even if you were, you know he would never do that. he might actually find it ridiculous to even think of, which was funny to you too. you get why people might suggest that. it’s just funny to you, who knows him so good. well, at least had known, now spinner might actually be your competitor in that matter. you wish them both the best.
dabi definitely didn’t know that, and he wasn’t able to put two and two together. that was your mistake. to assume, that he knew.
he probably knew the basics. you and tomura grew up knowing each other. he himself knew who shigaraki was from a very young age, it’s just that he never met him till the recent times. you on the other hand worked in a bar since the bright age of fourteen, you helped kurogiri with a simple stuff, after you got discharged and robbed of your quirk.
not very nice, yeah, you agree.
odd times. you drank a lot back then, definitely more than you were allowed, and you weren’t allowed to drink at all. you were a child, that’s what kurogiri had to remind to you every single time when he found bottles you tried to hide. he still found them somehow, and he continued to warn you. you haven’t heard him. it was so painful, the wound still open, you cried in your bed twice a day - so much that your chest hurt from tears. the booze helped to ease that pain for a short second, it was worth it in your opinion, even if kurogiri was so disappointed in you after. you were a failure already. nothing mattered anymore.
you caused a lot of trouble back then.
that gross old doctor tried to stop you forcefully (you still don’t know why he even cared), but you had kurogiri on your side, and it’d hurt even more - after the punishment you recieved, after the punishment kurogiri recieved because of you and your behaviour. you cried more seeing him so vulnerable and how he was almost translucent after all the torture. you stole more that day, you couldn’t bear it, you couldn’t handle what they’ve done to him because of you. you coudn’t even say sorry to him, because if you did you could die it felt like. you wanted your power back. you wanted kurogiri to be happy. you didn’t really need more.
it’ll pass, he said to you, when he found you in a basement, bawling your eyes out while hugging an empty bottle. he gently took it from your trembling hands and hesitantly patted you on the head. you weren’t used to physical contact, yet you leaned to his touch. you wanted to be better so he woudn’t worry that much.
you’ll be fine, he said. you’re strong, so you will be fine.
and few years later, you were fine.
you weren’t sensitive by nature, actually, you were very chill. it helped you along the way, because it was important to stay calm even when the shit has gotten real. you’ve seen a lot of villains of all sorts, and you handled every single one of them. that was your special quirk, to be the one with a cold head. because of it you were useful enough to kurogiri, so he asked for you to stay and help him run the bar. so you did. you were in the league, when there was no league - just you, kurogiri and some guy he sometimes brought along.
and the story between you and shigaraki wasn’t romantic or particularly interesting. it was natural, because you both needed someone to talk to, and later someone to go to after battles, to play games with, to do actual normal stuff. you were the only one person around his age he could talk to, even if you were a little bit older, still, you were on the same level. it wasn’t out of any feeling rather than curiosity, your first kiss. it just kind of happened and it left you feeling nothing. you started sleeping together under the same conditions - he was curious, you were curious. that’s all to it, really.
love came after a long time, you’d say. you certainly didn’t fall in love with him right away, moreover, it was clearly set between you two that no feelings are allowed. and it was easy to follow, because he was your friend, you could say that confidently, and you wanted to protect that.
it was still very nice. not because of the sex in itself (because it only came with time that sex stopped being awkward and messy and started to be something actually enjoyable) but because of the aftermath, when you talked about  something deeper than usual shit, when you cracked jokes and just slept together. you knew he too enjoyed that part the most. he had terrible nightmares back then, and being closer to someone brought him peace. kurogiri definitely knew and he stayed neutral, so you were as protected as you could be. you were good even after new members came and kurogiri introduced toga and dabi to you both. nothing really ever changed.
interestingly enough, you were never afraid of him killing you by accident. to be frank, you never even thought of it, only long after you thought absendmindedly that yeah. he easily could, even if he didn’t want to. maybe that was your secret weapon - you both never thought of it. you refused to worry more.
that was the moment when problem was created. when you started to worry.
you accepted it almost immidiately. he wasn’t an idiot, and you were never stupid, you both knew that couldn’t last forever without any change. you knew he rushed to your room after a mission to sulk about his failures not because you were the only one he had - not now, definitely, since there were toga and jin, yet he always chose you. you knew that was his active decision, and you lulling him to sleep was yours.
you pretended you didn’t care as long as you possibly could. things started to change so fast, you life started to change more than ever. the last time you had something like that was when your quirk was ripped out from you. shigaraki gave you time to prepare for this earthquake, and to himself he gave that time too. he couldn’t continue that anymore, he wasn’t built for that.
so you were ready, when he told you to fuck off in the nicest words he was capable of. you knew that was the most he could afford. he didn’t kiss you goodbye, you weren’t expecting it. he was still there, doing business with league, covering your failures after kurogiri’s department, bringing you along all the way, even he didn’t really need to anymore. your unsaid breakup was smooth and easy, you had no hard feelings after, and for him that was the same. he continued to be shigaraki tomura you knew, its just he needed to be more than that now. he had people to care for. that never meant he had to leave you behind.
he was still there for you, and so were you for him.
life goes on.
and sometimes you really wonder - is it something in your aura or is that just your path, only to be someone temporary, someone to pass along and not to stay? you really don’t know. sometimes you consider stop being so chill and okay with almost everything everyone around do to you, maybe it’s usefull to rip some faces off from time to time. that should teach someone to respect you. at least to consider you actually being a living human too.
you definitely wanted to rip dabi’s face off more than once at this point. it’s just the fact that you suspect it wouldn’t really impress him, considering that he’s already a puzzle of a human. he would probably staple it back with those siver rings and laugh at you.
dabi was every kind of complicated.
it wasn’t even meant to happen. you never liked him since he joined the league, you didn’t like his attutude, his rude remarks and kinda laid-back facade of a very expressive man, who he really was. you learned quite early that he’s a tickling timebomb, and you never knew if he’s gonna stay calm or one innocent remark will cause a fire. you kept silent most of the times, just observing everything around you, and you came to a conclusion that dabi is not a nice one to be around. personally, you preferred himiko and jin far more. even shigaraki, who you never previously considered impatient, was on his wits end. him and dabi didn’t really get along, time only made this worse. at least, that’s what you saw, shigaraki refused to tell you more. that’s none of your business, he said, almost snapping at you, and you, even after years of suppressing emotions, felt offended. that was a new side of him for you. the one he hid really well before. or maybe he just didn’t have it in him back then.
at that time, it still hurt a bit, even if you trained yourself to ignore it.
dabi came in handy, that’s what you thought, while being drunk and almost happy. it wasn’t as bad as it was when you were a teen, but you already felt it’s crawling back onto the same place in your life. there was no kurogiri this time to stop you, to help you sort it out. and you were hurt, even if you admitted it to yourself only after a second bottle of vodka.
you still could go a long way before getting wasted, so that was nice. but you still couldn’t actually drink all of the booze in bar.
that was not nice.
this fuzzy warm feeling you felt - you hadn’t missed it, but that helped, you knew from expirience it would help in the end. you felt nice for once, and even if you didn’t want shigaraki exactly, you still wanted something. maybe not a hookup, just someone to feel a bit nicer.
in general, you wanted warmth. it helped you not feeling so disgusted with yourself.
that’s when dabi came in handy - and you were already drunk just enough to forgive him that it was him and not somebody nicer, somebody more gentle. you were so, so drunk that night, it was fine for you then. he looked almost pretty in those blue and pink lights, while you was hearing another members laughing and talking. his skin looked okay in darkness. his eyes watched you cautiously and with something close to what you might call care, but you doubt he has that in him.
“you’re beautiful” you said because then it was true. he was beautiful in your eyes, when it was so dark, and in when his hair did catch the light, it looked almost snow white. “may i kiss you?”
his eyes was so wide open and pretty. his mouth was shut for once, maybe because he was too shocked by your words. you quicky started to like it, when he was quiet. when you didn’t hear his voice and could imagine it in your head. when his hands was on your shoulders and it was so, so warm, you almost didn’t feel that numb pain in your chest. he looked shocked and maybe hurt, but you’ve never seen him hurt, so that was just you being drunk probably. you thought it was fine anyway.
it really wasn’t.
next day you stand behind bar questioning was it something you imagined or was it really that dabi pushed you away and when you refused to let him be alone and miserable, he actually had to sit you down and explain that no, he doesn’t want to do anything with you. he won’t do anything with you. you need to get sober. you look pathethic.
you feel such hot, burning wave of shame every time you think of it, because yeah, it definitely happened, no matter how much you wanted to pretend that was your drunk fantasy. you wanna burn yourself alive, and you actually might do so rather than meet dabi again or shigaraki or kurogiri. you’ve never fallen so...pathethically.
“look who’s back” you actually jerk, and dabi laughs quietly. he takes a seat in front of you, and you hide after the glasses, as if it could help. “feeling better now? no need for me to be your prince charming again?”
“dabi, please-”
“and i am charming” he laughs again - somehow angrily, you’d say, “at least after... how many you emptied yesterday?”
“shut up”
“no way. i’m not cutting myself some pleasure. what was the reason to get this fucked anyway?”
you think of it for a second. then you speak.
“you can go fuck yourself”
“i thought you wanted it another way” his smile is sickening, his attitude is so unbearable, you want to crush a bottle on his head. he sees that in your eyes, probably. “be nice, c’mon”
“that’s not your business”
“never took you for an alcoholic. guess you’re good at surprising people”
“that was the one time!” you feel your cheeks burn, and his smile just gets sicker, you wanna throw up. “i’m not an alcoholic!”
“you recognise not everyone wakes up this fine and dandy after four bottles of vodka, right?”
it wasn’t four, was it?.. you remember only two.
shit.
your hands are trembling so hard, you need to put glass on a table and take a breath. you don’t want to tell him you started to drink earlier that day. that you started to drink far, far earlier, not even this month. it wasn’t few bottles suddenly, out of nowhere. it was slow, so slow, you thought you had it under control.
“fuck’s sake” he actually laughs, studying you closely “that was a relapse, was it? don’t tell me, i know it when i see one.”
“what do you know about it?!” you snap, and he actually shuts up, looking at you, face unreadable. you never one to raise your voice, you doubt anyone except for kurogiri ever heard you doing it. no one ever pushed you to that limit. “you don’t know anything about me! anything! you can’t just sit here and demand my backstory. you know what? i’m sorry for what happened last night. yet i owe you nothing more, so get the fuck out of here.”
you both stay silent for a few long minutes, staring at each other. then dabi pours himself some water. there’s a fact in your hand - he doesn’t drink, you never caught him with something stronger than a beer, and even that was after jin’s persuasion.
“you done?” he asks quietly.
you want to smack his head on the wall so badly, you regret you don’t have any quirk so hard now.
“so, to your question. what do i know about it? knew some junkies in my time. they’re all the same, really. they all will say whatever you want to hear, just so you would leave them be. they already feel so much shit, they don’t really need anyone else to add to it. so they may appologize, yet they never mean it, you know? if they meant it, they had to feel it in it’s full force. and they’re too weak for that to happen.”
you actually think you may throw up right here. his words - they stab you, you really feel like you’re bleeding. and he, of course, does nothing.
“that’s cruel” you put yourself together even if it’s so painful right now, because deep down you know how right he is, it’s just amusing how he managed to read that so quickly. you hold on to that thought. you’ll be fine later. you will be fine. “you don’t need to be that cruel.”
this time his laugh is almost sad.
“and you don’t want to kiss me right now, on the daylight, do you, y/n?”
you look at his sharp features, that you find somewhat nice even now, in his stark sparkly blue eyes, that look at you with poorly hidden rage and hatred. you understand, why he’s so angry. he didn’t deserve it. he just get caught in the middle, he knew you lied back then. it pains you even more that he understands, why you’re not really sorry. you’re not ready to be sorry yet.
“no” you say, raising your head. “no, i don’t. sorry.”
“that’s what i thought.”
you jerk again when the door’s being shut so loud, you fear windowsmight break. they’re okay, though.
and you?
you need more vodka.
