I’m thankful to God for these healthy and delicious foods!! This is a quinoa bowl I made for the first time! I seasoned the quinoa with salt, vegan butter, and garlic powder. Then I added refried beans (I love the Ducal brand), mashed avocado, corn, and a salsa/pico de gallo mix (from @goyafoods)! Then on the side I have vegan popcorn chicken (from @morningstarfarms) which is AMAZING, and then some sesame seed crackers (from @crunchmastercrackers), but I forgot what flavor it was lol (maybe the regular sea salt one). Then there are teriyaki stir fried vegetables (from @yourtaylorfarms) which is also so good!! For the dipping sauce in the middle, it was the Polynesian Sauce from @chickfila!! Such an inspiring weekend in #glouchestershire at @foodinourhandsuk People’s Food Summit talking about building a UK #foodsovereignty movement. Very special to meet so many people in one place working for a fair food system, from food growing to giving. My head is buzzing from hearing about so many inspiring projects and wanting to replicate them all in #lewisham. Unsurprisingly the food was incredible, lovingly made by Two Trees Catering #Bristol who kept us well nourished and full all weekend. like freshly squeezed lime? ell hyeah. i would recommend trying homemade salsa too if you havent made anything like that before. my sister and i made a really bomb salsa one time but we didnt write down the ingredients list sadly. i think (most) of the ingredients were a little onion, a little garlic, tomato, freshly squeezed lime, anaheim peppers, banana peppers, jalapenos, some habanero, cilantro, a little mango, a little avocado, a few drops of hickory and mesquite liquid smoke... probably missing some items but yea we blended it all in a nutribullet and it was delicious. came out a very pleasant green color. p sure we dipped flaming hot cheetos in it too. would recommend

Yes I like to make salsa but I usually make pico de gallo with lots and lots of red onions I love that shit. I wouldn’t have thought to dip hot chips in salsa tho I will try that soon. Also that sounds good minus mango I hate mango it’s so nasty and it smells like armpit but not in a fun boy smell way
