The Great Thai Communal Wardrobe Advent Giveaway!
I've currently collected/documented 45 items of clothing (and accessories) that have reappeared in various Thai series over the past four years - these are only the ones that have been discovered, I'm sure there are more.
These 45 items are spread over 38 shows and are worn by 78 different characters (mains, sides, and random extras).
At the most, one item has been worn by 8 different people in 6 series, several have been used 3-5 times, but the majority have only appeared in two different shows (so far!).
There has been one recent show which has featured 15 items of clothing which have been worn in other series! The next highest number is 11 in a show which aired last year. And then the 3rd and 4th spot go to a show from two years ago (with 10 items) and one from this year (with 6).
I have currently ordered all the items by the number of times used and then by air date (with the highest and earliest first), but once I start posting them I will add any new discoveries to the end of the list (from 46 onwards).
And I'd like your involvement to post them!
Between now and Nov 15th send me an ask or a DM with one of the following requests to either have the item dedicated to yourself or you can gift it to another blog. (Anon is also fine but I'd suggest using an obscure emoji so you can identify yourself).
You can request:
A random number in the list (1-45)
The name of a particular show
A specific character or actor
Something funny or stylish or that I think you might like
A specific item (if you have a pretty confident idea of one that exists)
And a specific date you would like your post published if you have one (I'm mainly trying to decide what order to publish them all in)
A point to note: I've already published number 3 and number 6 (although the latter is now wrongly-numbered 😥 so I might consider editing the original post...again).
My plan is to post two a day from Dec 1st in the run up to Christmas, like an advent calendar, so I've set the deadline for requests early enough to give me time to organise the posts (since work does get in the way sometimes).
And if you do spot any more shared clothing across series, do let me know!
Tagging some people in case you're interested and to help me spread the word: @grapejuicegay @celestial-sapphicss @twig-tea @rocketturtle4 @waitmyturtles @respectthepetty @chickenstrangers @ranchthoughts @slayerkitty @colourme-feral @blmpff @telomeke @nothingsbetterthancoffee @lurkingshan @ephemeral-hiraeth @thegalwhorants @hughungrybear @i-got-the-feels @icouldhyperfixatehim @dragonsareawesome123 @sparklyeyedhimbo @first-kanaphan @italianpersonwithashippersheart @shouldiusemyname @gabrielokun @ghoststookournightmares @morathicain @nongnaopat @lamonnaie @natalias-pierogi @mysterygrl20 @nahaluk @callipigio @multifanofmultifandom @dramarec @cangse-sanren @williamrikers @justafriend-ql @heretherebedork @forcebook @non-binarypal7 @aprilblossomgirl @morkofday @brazilian-whalien52

Depeche Mode - Interview with Alan and Martin
International Musician and Recording World - Nov. 1984
Leaving their beginnings as wide-eyed Popsters behind them, Depeche Mode have become masters of the art of noise and the science of the studio. Adrian Deevoy had a rewarding chat with the Basildon-to-Berlin boys, Les Drennan took some great pictures.
Somewhere, off one of the corporate corridors in the labyrinthine complex we affectionately term Broadcasting House, a woman sits alone. Her job is to create emotion, tension and atmosphere. Her key to this process is a PPG system. Although this is heartbreakingly unromantic it is the ultimate argument for machines in the Machine vs Human debate. It’s also quite a nice little story.
Depeche Mode like this story.
“All the sounds for Life Of Earth,” declares Alan Wilder.
“All those little animals,” beams Martin Gore.
After four years Depeche Mode are pretty bogged off with being told that they make inhuman music. They quite rightly believe this accusation to be untrue. They might accept that their first two albums weren’t cataclysmic – catchy, melody blip-bops if you like your lager warm but nothing to telex home about – but they remain adamant that last year’s LP, Construction Time Again, this years singles People Are People and Master And Servant, and their latest album Some Great Reward are anything less than stirring. For in the last 18 months Depeche Mode have discovered, embraced and subsequently immersed themselves in sound. With the aid of producer Daniel Miller’s matchmaking Synclavier a strange love affair has developed between the band and sampled noise.
Alan Wilder and Martin Gore, the songwriters, seemed most smitten to a meeting between themselves, and a micro-Walkman was promptly arranged in a horrendously loud video wine bar where they both bawled unashamedly of their love for sound.
“I’ll take you through all the sounds on People Are People,” says Martin, eyes glazed, sparing the machine no blushes. “The bass drum at the beginning was just an acoustic bass drum sampled into a Synclavier then we added a piece of metal to that – just a sampled anvil type sound – to give it a slight click and make it sound a bit different. That’s the beauty of the Synclavier, you can edit sounds together to make what we call combination sounds. The main synth sound is the actual ‘synth’ sound on the Synclavier, that’s the one that plays the bass riff. But the bass sound is a combination sound too with part of it being an acoustic guitar plucked with a coin, which sounds very interesting when the two sounds are sequenced together.”
“There’s very little playing going on in People,” adds Alan, “virtually everything is sampled into the Synclavier. With the guitar sounds we altered them slightly once they were in the Synclavier because you sample in one note and then you can alter the length and dynamic of every note in the sequence for the guitar part so it will give expression, but it will still be completely in time. You can justify all the rhythms, you see, so that you can have articulation but it’s all in time.”
Getting back to the People Are People breakdown Martin unveils a short sampling anecdote: Love on a plane.
“I took a stereo Walkman when I was going on a plane from England to somewhere,” he begins. “I originally brought it along to take the takeoff but while the air hostess was doing her safety speech at the start of the flight I decided I’d tape that as well. But as she was telling everyone to ‘Check the instruction cards under your seat,’ the door flew open and all this air rushed in which made a real loud noise and everyone laughed. Anyway I looped the end of what she was saying and the laughter so it goes, ‘…tion cards ha ha ha ha …tion cards ha ha ha ha,’ which sounds funny but I used it in conjunction with a choir sound and it added a really nice texture to the bridge on People.”
“There’s a Synclavier harp sound in the verses,” contributes Alan, “and an ARP sequencer playing very fast in the chorus and there’s some Emulator sounds that we used for adding a few frills here and there.”
The three throaty clunks at the end of each chorus is in fact Martin’s throat.
“That was a combination sound,” says Alan. “First of all we sampled Martin going, ‘Unk Unk Unk,’ with his throat then we added a bell sound and a timpani to give it depth.”
“I felt a bit of a berk doing that,” admits Martin. But love’s a bit like that.
The vocal line, “It’s a lot… like life,” at the beginning of Master and Servant was yet more fodder for the Synclavier. As Alan explains.
“Firstly we got a lot of people singing the high, ‘It’s a lot,’ and then a low, ‘Like life.’ You don’t have to play one slower or faster than the other to get the octave either because you make a patch on the Synclavier keyboard for each part and then you play the parts in their natural pitches and both at the same speed which is very handy.”
The lead vocals on People Are People and Master and Servant (or M&S as us Depechies call it) on the 7” mixes at least, were pretty well the only sounds that weren’t sampled.
“The vocals,” explains Alan, “were recorded in a big room. That is the vocals were sent down through a PA into a big, live room so we could not only get a great big sound but so we could put effects on the vocal while it was being recorded and afterwards on the disk.
“Although we sample all the snare sounds,” he adds as an afterthought on live rooms, “we always record the initial sound in an ambient space. We like to vary the snare sounds a lot so we record all different acoustic snares in various rooms and we close mike them or mike them from a distance depending on the width of the sound that we require. Simmons pads? No, I don’t like them. After you’ve done all that fiddling around to get away from that factory preset sound you might as well have got a really good sound on the Synclavier. Simmons pads just remind me too much of that Howard Jones factory preset and Drumulator syndrome. Really boring ‘synth’ sounds. They’re just not interesting, they sort of scream ‘DX7!’ and ‘JP8!’ at you.”
The latest Depeche album boasts a myriad of sounds, less overtly metallic than the socialist sentiments that they reflected on Construction Time Again but just as fascinating. Love is all about contrasts.
“We don’t think that we overdid the metal-beating idea on Construction Time,” says Martin, “but we wanted to make this one less obviously metal sounds. We wanted a little more subtlety…”
So instead of belting skips they belted concrete.
“Yeah, on one of the tracks on the album, Blasphemous Rumours,” elaborates Alan, “we sampled some concrete being hit for what turned out to be the snare sound. All that entailed was us hitting a big lump of concrete with a sampling hammer…”
“…I’m sure they’re not actually called sampling hammers,” interjects Martin giggling.
“Anyway,” continues Alan, “the engineer / producer we use, Gareth Jones, has got this brilliant little recorder called a Stellavox which we use with two stereo mikes and it’s as good as any standard 30ips reel-to-real but this is very small and therefore very portable. So we just took the Stellavox out into the middle of this big, ambient space and miked up the ground and hit it with a big metal hammer. The sound was… like concrete being hit. I can’t really put it any other way.”
“Professional Walkmans are good for sampling too,” claims Martin. “Gareth has always got his out. On trains… at home. They’re good because they get a very impure sound that can often be really interesting. But if we want a very pure sound then we’ll take the thing, say a bit of scaffolding, into the studio and mike it up in the proper conditions and get a clean sound.”
If an equipment list had been included in the mentions on Some Great Reward, apart from pavements, buildings, bottles and old people being stapled together it would have incorporated a long list of toy instruments which Martin divulged as he became more intoxicated; by love of course.
“One morning me and Andy (Fletcher) went down to Hamleys, the toy shop in London, and bought as many toy instruments as we could find. Pianos, saxophones, xylophones and we took them all back to the studio and sampled them. One we used a lot was a Marina (?), a toy one, very strange, but after we’d sampled it, it was great. It sounded pretty terrible as a toy but when we took it down a couple of octaves it sounded really good.”
“People tend to think that if you’re using toy instruments then they have to sound whacky,” complains Alan, “but we put some to very good use because as soon as you sample them they take on a whole new quality and when you transpose them it puts them in a completely new context. Like the noises Martin was making with his throat, we only took those down a tone and it was unrecognisable as someone going, ‘Unk’, with their throat.”
But sampling, like love, isn’t all happiness and although Depeche have learnt to take the rough with the smooth, they found out the hard way. Alan breaks off in the middle of another ‘good combination sound’ story to tell how they were stitched up by a sussed, sampling percussionist.
“We were doing this combination with Martin doing his Indian voice combined with a bassoon type sound.”
“It was pretty ethnic,” says Martin launching into his Indian voice.
Alan ignores him. He has something on his mind that he’s not sure if he should tell us.
“I’m not sure I should tell you this,” he tells us, “but we got this percussionist in for the afternoon to sample his drums and the different techniques of playing them. We didn’t try to hide the fact that we were sampling him. We said, ‘We hope you don’t feel r*ped,’ and he agreed to be sampled literally just hitting one drum, once at a time. Anyway we sampled all his drums once, maybe twice. Now, the Musicians Union haven’t really caught up with sampling and this bloke had obviously contacted them when he got home because he gave us this bill for about 50 different sessions, plus sampling time plus a consultation fee. It was enormous and the stupid thing was that most of the sounds weren’t even as good as that (bangs two pint glasses together) and we only used about two for maybe two seconds each on a couple of songs.”
Another problem came when the band had to divide their recording time between Music Works in England and the 56-track, Solid State luxury of Hansa Mischraum in Berlin.
“There were all these builders in next door at Music Works,” moans Martin, “and we’d have the track running with us hitting skips and concrete and they’d be next door tearing a wall down and we couldn’t tell which was which. It was very confusing at times.”
Like love and marriage, sampling and timing tend to go together like the proverbial horse and jockey.
“Although it makes the whole process even longer, when you get into one you can’t really help but get into the other,” says Alan. “You can’t help, after you’ve been involved with sequencing for a while, noticing three millisecond or five millisecond discrepancies. So you end up time-shifting every sequence until it’s perfect. Then we got into consciously putting things slightly out of time. Like, for example, the choir sound on People again we used a combination sound of different choir sounds on different synths and then put them slightly out of time with each other. Like we took one sound from the Synclavier, one from the PPG and one was on the Emulator. Are you familiar with the Friendchip? It’s a time code reading clock that can monitor every single click output from all your drum machines and all your synths so when everything is going via the Friendchip you can adjust the feel by pulling something, say five or six milliseconds in one direction.
“The thing is so many things can’t play in perfect time anyway,” reveals Alan, “the Linn isn’t in time when it’s meant to be playing ‘drum machine’ perfect time without human error programmed in. It can go out by 20 milliseconds. We set an oscilloscope on several things to see how well they kept time. The one that came out best was the TR808 which only as a two millisecond shift. That’s better than the Synclavier. Rotten sounds though. But we actually ended up triggering stuff from the 808 just because it’s so tight within itself.”
“We always thought the 808 had a good feel,” chips in Martin before adding a bitchy, “even though Alan has a grade eight piano his playing is still incredibly out of time compared to the Synclavier sequencer… and even that’s out!”
All this and the Emulator II?
“Yeah,” admits Martin realising that his love has almost turned him into a technocrat, “the sampling time is about 17 seconds now, I think, and you can get more sampling across the keyboard, it gives better quality than the Fairlight and it only costs about seven grand which is a lot but it will be a big help to us live.”
And there’s a pianillow ballad, Somebody, to be sung love. Martin promises some. Kinda wonderful.
“We’re going to go for a completely human feel on that one. Just a piano played by Alan and Dave singing and Andy playing tapes on the Fostex X15. It’ll be very different.”
So the love for sound can take you backwards but what of the future?
“I don’t know,” confesses Martin, “the Synclavier can already go further than your imagination and they’re thinking of getting new software for that. Then there’s re-synthesis which might happen in a couple of years where you can take a sampled sound and change just tiny parts of it. It’s really impossible to say. Maybe we’ll just get the guitars out and make a Rock ’n’ Roll album. Who knows?”
…and somewhere, within the folds of Auntie Beeb’s ageing skin, a woman sits alone wrestling with a similar emotional predicament. Is she really in love with her PPG system is has it been David Attenborough all along?

Personal log, Stardate fuck this shit
So I’ve had this little Tumblr since November 2017. It’s my “processing feelings about Star Trek” blog, obvs. I did not expect nearly a thousand people—okay, dozens of people and hundreds of bots, lbr—would end up reading my feelings about Star Trek.
Well, here we are. And the thing is, I don’t think I’ve ever had this many feelings about Star Trek. I don’t mean since Nov. ’17. I mean since 1991.
You’ve been warned.
Last week—and I mean the one we literally just had—was the worst week of my entire life. Instant winner! That’s right: worse than the week I got divorced, worse than Christmas-to-New Year’s 2002, worse than the third week of high school. I’m not going to process those feelings in public—it’s not 2002 anymore—but, unfortunately, that’s important context for the rest of this.
More important context: TNG specifically was my comfort blanket throughout a “let’s call it difficult” childhood. I’ve loved that starship and that crew for over 30 years. When I’ve been at rock bottom, not totally sure I’m going to survive whatever bullshit is in front of me, I put on an episode, or an interview with the cast on YouTube or something, and things feel infinitesimally more okay.
At this point in my life, they’re the best and only family I’ve got. The bridge of that fictional starship feels more like home to me than anywhere I’ve ever lived. I don’t consider myself superior to, or even separate from, any brand-new fan who discovered Trek yesterday—honestly, I prefer their energy—it just hits differently for me, you know? I can’t be rational about it.
Anyhow. This season of Picard. What a ride, right? A stupidly plotted, stupidly slow ride to a disappointingly obvious conclusion, if I’m going to be harsh about it. But I don’t actually care if it sucks. I’m 90% here for space-family feels and 10% here for Seven of Nine: Leather Jacket MILF Edition, and that’s about it.
And… like… fuck. Fucking shit, y’all. My heart and soul have been pulverized to powder for non-Star Trek reasons since last Sunday. I’ve been feeling like I just got kicked in the stomach for about 170 hours straight. I have never had a stable life; I have never felt so destabilized. Basically everything sucks 47 different kinds of ass, and it’s not going to stop sucking those asses for a long, long time.
So it fucking goes. None of that other shit killed me. I’m not going down now.
But. Or maybe and? In the middle of this waking nightmare, I got to come home. The LCARS. The aggressively flat lighting. The carpet. My family.
I used to sit so close to the TV when Next Gen was on. When I was like 8 or 9 years old. I wanted to be there, so badly. To be completely honest with you, I still do.
And I get to spend one more hour there. I get to watch my space family be together again, be awesome again, watch them save the day from the beautiful beige bridge of the USS Enterprise-D one last time.
Now. This week. When I need it more than ever. A glass of ice water in hell.
What a gift.

Fanfic Writer Questions
Alright so, @optiwashere tagged me in this question thingy, how fun! I was looking for an excuse to discuss this stuff. Oh, and I will be tagging @zawazawanightmares, @modusoperand1 and @trygrievousbutgirl-blog, though ya'll are under no obligation to participate if you don't want to.
1. How many works do you have on AO3?
Twelve, though that number is a bit misleading because one of those has 15 chapters and has been getting sporadic updates since December of last year.
2. What's your total AO3 word count?
115,036. Which seems about right, I tend to get wordy.
3. What fandoms do you write for?
I started with Baldur's Gate 3 but pretty quickly expanded to Chainsaw Man, which is mostly where I hang my hat these days. I'm also planning on writing for Kakegurui eventually, and maybe Dead by Daylight and Warhammer if the mood strikes me. Oh and I wrote one fic for Werewolf: The Apocalypse that wasn't very good, but I'm probably not returning to that universe anytime soon.
4. What are your top 5 fics by kudos?
In descending order: Stress Relief, In Lust and In Leaf (E-rated Karlach/Shadowheart/Tav feat. recreational drug use) Through You (E-rated Power/Kobeni, chapter-based longfic) A Matron's Mercy (E-rated Minthara/Tav with lots of gender affirmation) Underdark, Under Pressure (M-rated Shadowheart/Tav, the first fic I ever published!) Waning Moon, Not A Moment Too Soon (E-rated Shadowheart/Tav, ball-slapping sex in a broom closet)
5. Do you respond to comments?
All of them! Though it occasionally takes me a while because of things like time zones and me needing time to think of decent responses. I love getting comments!
6. What is the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?
I don't really do angsty endings, I keep that stuff to the beginning and middle when it comes up at all, but by default this one probably goes to Would You Still Love Me if I Was Several Worms? because the ending is only very hopeful that things will work out alright instead of outright confirming it beyond a shadow of a doubt.
7. What's the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?
Oh, hm... It's kinda hard to rank them, but I guess probably Hearts of Fire and Darkness, Eye Enough for Both, though there's no fic of mind that'd refer to as having an "unhappy" ending per se.
8. Do you get hate on fics?
Nope! Not yet at least. I'm sure there's at least one person out there who hates my guts and thinks my work is trash, but so far they've been cordial enough to keep it to themselves.
9. Do you write smut? If so, what kind?
Yup! I like to think of it as pretty character driven, I always try to keep track of the characters' emotions and mental state during the intense gay sex.
10. Do you write crossovers? What's the craziest one you've written?
None yet, but I definitely want to write one for BG3 and Chainsaw Man eventually (as in, some time before the heat death of the universe). Both fandoms have a basically immortal lesbian and they deserve to meet eachother.
11. Have you ever had a fic stolen?
Not to my knowledge!
12. Have you ever had a fic translated?
Again, not to my knowledge.
13. Have you ever co-written a fic before?
I've definitely had writer friends of mine look over sections of fics I'm working on to provide feedback and criticism, but nothing quite so involved.
14. What's your all time favorite ship?
This is going to sound so stupid, but it's actually an OC x OC ship. See, once upon a time I joined a Vampire: The Masquerade 20th Anniversary Edition roleplay server on discord. I played a terrifying, gay monster woman with way too much shit on her shoulders, and she ended up becoming the girlfriend of a blood-curdling, bisexual monster woman with a machete and a vicious streak. The scenes we wrote together there were beautiful and romantic and did wonders for my mental health. I am never going to forget those characters. Valerie and Jelena forever.
15. What's a WIP you want to finish but doubt you ever will?
I wanted to write a novel that was basically just me throwing a bunch of mine and my friends' OCs into an angsty high school AU. It was going to be an attempt at a complex exploration of queerness, mental health and being born into a privileged but deeply abusive household. I gave up after chapter 2 because barely any of the people I showed it to for feedback got back to me, and I got demoralised. Now I write fanfiction and get feedback all the time.
16. What are your writing strengths?
Apparently, transfem rep and hurt/comfort. Which I guess I can kinda see, I'm good at hurting characters but I can never stand to see them in pain for long, hence copious amounts of comfort to compensate.
17. What are your writing weaknesses?
I'm bad at writing male characters and just flat out can't write hetero romance. Also, I'm slow as fuck.
18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language in fic?
I just don't do it, unless using Japanese honorifics when writing in English counts. If I need to have a character speak in Russian or Infernal or whatever, I just write "they said in X language" or something like that.
19. First fandom you wrote for?
Technically there's a very shitty, unfinished, first-draft, collaborative Hotline Miami fic sitting somewhere in my google docs that's probably the first if I were to check the dates. It's never going to get published or finished, but one OC I made up for it still keeps cropping up in the stories I come up with in my mind, and if I ever go professional they'll see the light of day eventually.
20. Favorite fic you've written?
I technically answered this question here! But the TL;DR version is: Through You and Another Way share the top spot, passion projects that make me a little emotional to think about.

Next Album's Color Palette
In my [ first post ], I explained why the next era is most likely to be monochromatic, with hints of blue. Since I’ve explained this already, I’ll give a little TLDR;
SAI’s color scheme has slowly gone desaturated, between the Livestream and The Outside’s MV + the Icy Tour. Pink and yellow have turned to black and white. Blue is seen as the color of defeat, and the only color to remain out of the initial SAI palette has been that blue. The last MV we got ended with Dema engulfed in the neon’s blue fire.
However, since then, many hints for a violet-themed era have been dropped.
It’s fairly obvious that Ned is going to have a critical role from here on out. With the Ned’s Bayou plush drop came several new pieces of clothing. A majority of them were violet, with the phrasing ‘ Ned Will Show Us The Way ‘.
For the Black Friday promotion, on Nov. 23, 2022, this header was added to the site.
Tumblr media
This proof is very minimal, but I feel it is enough to lean on. Ned was the catalyst for the physical destruction of Dema, and his antlers will continue to be used as a possible means of attack. The finale nearly solely relies on Ned and his antlers.
Also, the purple butterfly that Tyler wore.
Butterflies are strong symbolism for rebirth and change.
During RAB/Vessel, Tyler and Clancy seemed to be small and meek, mindlessly bowing to Dema's will. Both grew enough to distance themselves from their original obedience and will rebuild Dema into something new. A larva will undergo metamorphesis, and morph into a butterfly.
It is possible that violet symbolizes victory, which would explain why it's never been relevant.
NOTE - Pet Cheetah’s audio AND VR video have an unattended purple and orange themed background. It was completely out of place for Trench. The song and Jason himself were rarely brought up. Albeit being on, arguably, the most important album, it serves almost no purpose.
Other than color, I’ve literally got no way to tie it in. Lack of purpose is most likely because Tyler wrote it after Trench was finished. Not too confident in the connection.
Conclusions, as of Nov. 23, 2022.
I still, somewhat, believe that I was correct back in August. The next album will focus on the destruction and defeat of Dema, will be lyrically straightforward as Trench was, and has been confirmed to be their darkest yet. It will also be a continuation and expansion of Redecorate.
A monochromatic tone with hints of defeat-colored blue would be perfectly in line with this.
Ned’s importance cannot be undermined, though. Color has been revealed through merch before, and the bayou drop can’t necessarily be ignored or chalked up to nothing.
Butterflies, although never mentioned, would also perfectly symbolize both Clancy & Tyler’s growth and change from RAB/Vessel.
EDIT - Nov. 30 2022
[ Tyler's most recent Instagram story ] was lit up in purple.
He confirmed that MTV Unplugged was set to release next year, and that he's " excited about the music that [ he's ] working on. "
END EDIT
Both are possible. ~ shesacarver

Eight (8) Shows to Get to Know Me
tagged by @talays-portkey ♥ ty for tagging me and having me walk down memory lane for the past few days (spent too much time in all the tags microdosing on my upbringing)
DISCLAIMER: i wanted to showcase defining eras in my life/made an impact in a substantial way; i’m also recommending an ep to watch with each one, which isn’t part of the tag format but imma do it
--
i. LOST (2004-2010)
this was my whole world for my entire hs existence and into my early college years. half of the shows listed here stems from my first love of the ensemble cast, their interwoven yet clandestine storylines, and the mystery box. at my first sdcc, half of the cast was present when they debuted p1 of the series finale (you’d think i was dead the whole time fksfsk;lv)
the jessi special: The Constant (04x05)
ii. Fringe (2008-2013)
yes, i faithfully followed jj abrams into another insane show. i think it actually altered my brain chemistry, rewired something in me, devoured a piece of me. once LOST was over and Fringe brought in the alternate universe, i dove in head first and never resurfaced
the jessi special: Making Angels (04x11)
iii. Doctor Who (2005-Present)
i think it was technically winter 2010 when i started binging this show because s6 was my first time catching it live (was young and naïve, i caught it on bbca lol) ive been on hellsite for almost two years at the time and fully became a fandom blog, so it was inevitable i would love this series. i think it was the first show i made gifs/edits for???
the jessi special: The Doctor’s Wife (06x04)
iv. Lizzie Bennet Diaries (2012-2013)
oh look, my dna makeup shifts again. i actually started watching this show the week leading up to Darcy Day and can still vividly remember the migraines from binging 8-10min eps times 60ish worth of content. this show got me into writing my first fic, running an rp blog, creating instrumental playlists, making a DWxLBD blog, AND eventually flying my ass back to CA to meet the cast and beloved mutuals at VidCon
the jessi special: A New Buddy (ep56)
v. Orphan Black (2013-2017)
happy international women’s day to this show and this show only! i think of all the shows listed here, this is the first time since LOST i caught all the eps in real time from the very beginning. this was filling the hole Fringe was about to carve deep in me. but if you cut me open, you will find the beth-shaped hole that nothing/no one has been able to fill and likely will never fill til the end of time
the jessi special: The Collapse of Nature (04x01)
vi. Shadowhunters (2016-2019)
im willing to admit that the reason i got into this show was because of the wedding kiss haha i saw the clip, signed the adoption papers on the spot, and went on to write a 100K+ wip series. admittedly, i confess that this was a DNF and never finished the last season... i abandoned my boy.gif
the jessi special: Of Men and Angels (01x06)
vii. Sense8 (2015-2018)
a show about eight children than i gave birth to, that i raised on my own, that i will defend on my death bed and beyond??? that show sense8?? yes that show sense8. fun fact, when they did the screening of the finale in Chicago, the cast ended up sitting three rows behind me in the theater and i could hear them talking in between scenes the entire evening. wish i could bottle that feeling up
the jessi special: I Have No Room in My Heart for Hate (02x07)
viii. Bad Buddy (2021-2022)
and we finally made it to the current decade! its nov 2021, im fresh off leaving my previous job and still getting situated in my new position, yet this show was a siren calling to me in the dark mist of my life. i ended up saving the binge watching for the week of my bday and my whole life shifted again. it must have been so alarming on the outside, seeing me go from making 1-2 edits a month to 1-2 edits a day for almost THREE MONTHS. the fact that i still cont to avg two edits/week since then... oy lol
the jessi special: Ep10 (shocked pikachu.jpg)
and ill also throw some honorable mentions too: Chuck, The Good Place, Vice Versa, Twenty Five Twenty One, Once Upon a Time, and Elementary

ok now that i for real know what my writing commitments are going to be for the next, like, year, at least the majority of them, here is the actual for real i s2g hold me to this writing schedule
Fic in a Box - due 10/15
1 assignment of 2k words remains, write it this saturday
Five Figure Fanworks Exchange - check in 11/11, due 1/20
i expect this will take about a week to finish, and ideally i'll have it done prior to check-in.
Yuletide - works due 12/18
UNLESS i get an assignment that i want to go hogwild on, which i should be prevented from doing, i should be able to finish this the week of 11/26 and not work on it outside of that.
galactic santas - est. due 12/25
my fave event of the year lol, the logh secret santa exchange. uh anyway this one is usually due around christmas and also is the easiest thing on this list by a mile and a half. i'm 0% worried about this one.
tomorrow ye will get your pay - aka the whale novel. - first draft due 3/1, physical product due for display 4/1
this is an extremely short timeline, and while it's not "drop everything else" level short, it is going to have to be my #1 writing priority for a long time.
my plan is as follows
spend the remainder of october getting situated w/ the research i'm going to have to do, figuring out who i need to talk to, etc. as well as put together a detailed chapter-by-chapter outline
nov/dec i'm assuming will be eaten by SMST and other commitments, but get research done and essentially braindump into document
jan/feb, just write as much as possible, take time off of work/quit job if i need to
if possible confine edits to the first 2 weeks of march, get books printed; deliver final product by last week of march.
god this schedule is miserable. well i signed up for it! i did this entirely to myself! lmfao.
anyway i'm going to bracket in that it's a 20 chapter novel, which seems like a reasonable number of chapters. i essentially have ~10 weeks to write this book. this is totally normal and fine, i have written longer books with less of a solid outline in shorter amounts of time. if i can just sit my ass in a chair and hammer out 2.5k words/day i will EASILY make this deadline and have time for editing. the issue will be making myself do that. but having a deadline and like professional accountability should majorly help. esp if i quit my stupid fucking job lol
serpent's mouth, serpent's teeth - due 12/31
i have four chapters left on SMST. i do not think they will be EASY to write but I do think that I'm CAPABLE of getting them done before the end of the year. at the very least i've sworn until i was blue in the face that i would finish this book by the end of the year. i need this book to stop haunting my waking nightmares lmfao. i estimate ~50-60k words remain, but we'll see what it actually ends up shaking out as. hopefully it's not more than that.
anyway this is another just "ass in chair" moment. though if i could have made myself do that months ago, this book would have been finished sometime this summer lol
every link was freedom's name - aka the fucking. arle heinessen play. no due date.
this is my yay you finished all the obligations you had now you get to do something deeply deeply stupid and entertaining only to a tiny number of people project. lyric play about arle heinessen. book of exodus pastiche. probably not that long. estimate it'll take me as long as POD did, so a month and a half? but i won't stress it. aim to finish it mid may?
new constellations - aka the logh rarepairs exchange i run
I'm planning to run signups in late march, with works due mid may. this is slightly earlier than last year but due to my own personal schedule i don't want it to overlap with...
heart attack exchange - works due 6/2
yeah you literally only get 2 weeks to work on this one so it kinda is what it is lol.
life out of balance rewrite. no particular due date.
i expect this will take me 3-4 months to complete. finish by september?
lighting out for the territories augmentation. no particular due date.
i'd like to think that i can get this done in 2 months but i don't actually have a plan for what i need to do to it. so who tf knows lol. assume it'll take me the rest of the year.
every hateful instrument - no firm date
this will likely take between 6-8 months to finish, but it's another thing that i really want to stop having hanging over me. i'll either work on it before the LOFTT stuff or after
WIAW phezzan novella - ultimate TBD
to be completed immediately before starting LL/SS, probably
other misc nonsense
there are other small exchanges that i like to do (space swap, unsent letters, we die like fen) so as those pop up i probably will sign up for them. i'm not going to look up/prognosticate when they will happen at this moment in time
god i owe so many people gifts for birthdays and holidays and stuff >.> you may or may not get them. lean towards may not b/c what the fuck is this writing schedule. i'm so sorry lmao
i've now gotten back around to "oh this goes up to the end of the year again, so the end of the year exchanges (yuletide, fffx, fiab, galactic santas) should be on this schedule" but down that road lies only pain and horror lol
this list has gotten incredibly vague as things have gone on. the last part of this year and the first part of next year are pretty set in stone though, and i just need to like, get myself to the starting block and then start running
literally so funny that i was like "i should relax and take a break from writing before starting LL/SS" lmfao. lmfao.
obviously some of these things could be deleted from the schedule. i don't have to do a bunch of exchanges (but i liiiiiike them) and i don't have to write a stupid play (but i wannnnnnt to), and i don't have to do any rewrites to the early parts of WIAW (but they're a mess). so it's like. idk. maybe none of this is real and i'm just making lists b/c i like making lists lol

16, 30, and 75??
16. How many fic ideas are you nurturing right now? Share one of them?
Okay, so I have the final chapter of Gravity Well vibrating in my head and the entire rest of The Stars screaming at me to fucking get on with it already, but I also have a Mummy AU that I talked about before, and then a very little mostly visual idea I chatted about with one of my mutuals where Anakin is MENA and Padme is Mongolian. In a more interesting timeline....
There's also a little seed of an idea for a one-shot sequel to Sweater Weather where Din and Grogu meets Luke's family and that would end with Din half-joking about taking Luke to Mandalore, but I don't know if anything will come of that. Guess we'll see when actual sweater weather swings around my neck of the woods again.
30. Do you share rough drafts or do you wait until it’s all polished?
I used to post WIPs and they weren't all that edited either, but I had a few formative experiences that made me go the "don't post until polished" route. One was readers at FFN getting fuck-off angry that I took down a Transformers WIP because I was going to rewrite and polish the story. I never posted it back up. I'm so mad I didn't because now the only copies I have left of that fic are oooooooooold word docs and text files, and they're incomplete. Another was just... the sheer number of abandoned WIPs because I didn't plot well and wrote myself into walls. It was really discouraging and I got used to expecting myself to fail whenever I started a longfic. Then I really got into the habit of participating in NaNo every year, and the NaNo method of writing balls to the wall, like you're running out of time, until you hit the end of Nov. 30th. really changed the game for me. Like, oh, I should just writewritewrite until I reach the end, and now I have all this time to go back and see what I can cut out, what I can add, what I can do to put out a finished product.
I think the finest exampe and experience I had with that method was The Storm. It was originally a lot shorter because I was in such a hurry to finish this story that wouldn't leave my ass alone and I really wanted to get the fic out there while the dinluke ship and fandom were starting to take off, but when I was going over what I wrote, I realized that the story was missing time and I needed to create more time for these characters to sit in their heads, listening to the rain and to each other, and to get to know each other better. So I wrote in enough scenes to add a new chapter and create a story with a much better tempo and pace, and that story gave me a massive fic series for the ship. What the fuck.
75. What scene in [Fanfic Name] took the longest to write? What was difficult about it?
Umm.... not sure which fic we're talking about here. But like, just assume that either all the scenes in the chapter after the story's climax or all the scenes in the last chapter of a story take the longest to write. They always do. Coming down from the high of a story's climax (lol) or tying up every loose thread that needs tying up to finish a story is just insanely hard to do. I'm trying to wrap up Gravity Well right now AND I AM STRUGGLING. I've also been working tons of overtime while living in an environment where I can't ever relax, so it's a struggle and a fight to write everything down and feel satisfied.
Play ask games, win ask prizes!

RIP Karyamsetty Namathoti Krupa Bai. This is a place for me to be Petty™️ about the following few days.
1. I made sure not to cry in front of my father so that I wouldn't distress him. And then his COLLEGE FRIEND videocalls him from fuckin AMERICA to cry?? To his bereaved friend? Humanity, I tell you
edit 16 November, 12:30 pm
2. my dad is running on fumes.
edit 19 Nov, 12:35 pm
3. my uncles know only to talk at the tops of their voices. my aunts only know to unload arguably ill-timed cynical commentary. (i was more disturbed than i like to admit by them reading her diary. it’s more of an accounts/records thing than a journal, b u t s t i l l. they/we buried her that day.
4. she was buried with her husband. god fucking damnit my heart.
5. the one thing i can quote (and hope to remember) from the memorial service is what my dad said at the end of the vote of thanks, paraphrased:
we knew our mother’s weaknesses, we knew her drawbacks. but what is amazing, and what we focus on, is not her imperfections; but the love of a God that has blessed even this imperfect woman and her family. the love of a God who loves her and who loves us. my father’s favourite verse and favourite keerthana: “as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.”
6. ✨mildly harassed at the memorial service✨
7. also me at the memorial service:
Tumblr media
i hate non-english memes. oh how the turntables. [ID with translated text: the batman slapping robin meme. robin’s speech bubble reads “what are you studying?” batman, slapping him, replies “i’m working, aunty”]
8. yes i designed the backdrop for nanamma. yes i also designed the flexi for bujjatha. yes we exist.
9. this is the first funeral for a close family member that died of natural old age. (Bujjatha. Aysha aunty.) it’s... very different.
10. general wretched thoughts:
aside from the “what should i have done to keep in touch with her” guilt, and the “she’s my father’s mother” knowledge, offset by the “i know she was very shitty to my mother and her other daughters-in-law”, there is additional “should i have been the one taking care of her in her last years” guilt. because i know my father did that for his grandmother in her last years. (is that because he was at home? because they couldn’t afford care at the time? because that’s the amazing selfless very loving kind of person he is?) anyway. it’s another thing with which to beat myself up.
nana seems fine. but. i’m just feeling very crumpled and useless and wretched thinking of him having lost his mother. he has no living parents left. i know it’s one of the best possible ways it could have happened but goddamnit. how do you go on without parents. why is death.
and lastly: it seems very wrong and odd to be going to work. like i said, there’s no handwringing teary mourning and no compulsion not to smile or laugh or anything. but it felt right, to be in guntur with the rest of the family, and although of course nothing is as physically accommodating to my wretched body as our chennai home is, being here right now seems as rootless and pointless as it ever was.

7 au 13 novembre 2022
Another short week, I’m loving this month. I finished planting all the plants I purchased from Olivier Philippe’s nursery and most of what I grew from seed this year. I also noticed that my Cattleya are sending up flower spikes, exciting !
Monday evening I took Denis to Grasse then over to La Gaude above Cagnes-sur-Mer where I met his new British plumber, Will. Denis happened to mention to Will’s wife that there are agapanthas being given away on the domaine and she decided she wanted them. We made plans to collect some on Friday.
Tuesday afternoon Alejandro came by. We had a good look around the garden and he suggested a few things I could do, though mostly it is under control. We’ve had a few days of rain now, and the prairie is going crazy. It is really filling in and there is so much going on, including several of the Cynara that I thought had died, have reappeared. I sowed some Linaria purpurea that I collected from another garden earlier this year. By luck, Wednesday afternoon, just as I finished planting, it started to rain and it rained for several hours.
Wednesday afternoon I finally got around to buying new tyres for my car. Denis went with me and I have an appointment for next Wednesday to have them fitted.
Thursday I turned my attention to doing one more good pruning of the remaining sages.
Friday morning Will came by with his van and we filled two tonne bags with agapanthas. They decided they will send a friend with an open back for one more load. It’s nice to see them going to a new home.
My right elbow is really hurting this week, unlike it has before, a very sharp pain just in the joint.
Saturday I headed to Italy with André, Denis, Éric and Luc. We caught th 08h35 from Antibes to Vintimille. We walked to Bordighera and enjoyed a nice lunch there. On the way back, during our layover in Vintimille, I ran into town to purchase two bottles of Campari. The company has decided to make it a luxury product, so it’s been removed from the supermarket shelves. It now costs nearly 18€ for one litre. However, I love it and I love negronis.

DURALAST POWER STATION 1200 USER MANUAL DOWNLOAD
Duralast is not a new starter but a rebuild out of junk yards and rebuilt in Malaysia or somewhere over there where they pay someone 50 cents a day, they are recoated with shellac and oven roasted, you need to figure out what is really happening or if your car is supposed to have a starter heat shield on it and someone left it off when they. For example, Napas top selling reman starters and alts are made by MPA, same company makes AZ's bottom line one year stuff. Everyone like to crap on az for cheap parts but you would be suprized if you got to see who actually makes all the parts. Duralast starters and alternators surprised me ans all are manufactured by Remy parts. But for a 200 repair I would rather be proactive. Firestone tested mine and it is down to 500.
DURALAST POWER STATION 1200 USER MANUAL MANUAL
Tested the battery - showing a shade under 12 volts, but may be low due to running off battery as alternator died. While running, the voltage dropped to 11.5 and then kept dropping down to single digits. Duralast Gold Power Station 1200 Manual My batteries cca is starting to go down a lot.
I've had 2 bad experiences where their corporate offices said some regional guy would be calling and 3 weeks later he did. 5, 2020 I use to buy my parts here for the vehicles. Delivering maximum Cold Cranking Amps and Reserve Capacity, Duralast Platinum provides safe, reliable power to vehicles with multiple electronic accessories.
Duralast Platinum is an Absorbed Glass Mat (AGM) battery designed to give you the ultimate combination of power, durability and flexibility.
Two of my current cars have Duralast alternators and they’re both Fords. I’ve bought various starters/alternators from them ever since that time and have never had any issues at all.

ADHD reward system? Please tell me your secret!
My therapist has been helping me find a reward system that works for me, and as it turns out, gold star stickers are really helpful for making me feel like a tangible goal was met, and helps give me that sweet, sweet dopamine release that comes with completing a task, something which us ADHD’ers really struggle to achieve and are already coming at from a disadvantage with our brains regularly not producing enough “happy” hormones as it is.
It was supposed to be “a sticker for every time you finish a chapter”, but after some revision, my therapist said that was too tall of a goal, and that I should pick something smaller. So instead I now get a star every time I finish a 500-word milestone, placing the sticker in my writing calendar/journal thing that I use to keep track of my writing, and ironically, I have started to produce more work than when I was stiving for one chapter a day.
To give you an idea of how staggeringly effective this has been for me, I’ve written over 30k of original fiction in the last week. (75k total if you include my social media and blog stuff, which I currently do not but likely should.)
So this is what it looked like when I was attempting to do a chapter of edits and revisions a day during the month of December 2019 (note: I was supposed to start this in Nov, so you can see how well that worked out for me lol):
Tumblr media
ID: A calendar showing days of the month with a shiny star sticker showing a completed task.
And this is what my writing journal looks like now that I’m doing a star for every 500 words:
Tumblr media
ID: an image of a handwritten journal with the dates mapped out, followed by a shiny star sticker for every completed 500-word milestone. There are 65 stars in total for the month of January 2020. It’s also tinged by a green light cause I’m doing a chronic pain experiment, so far with positive results!
So as of today, January 8th, with ever star = 500 words, then 65*500 = 32500 words totalled in 7 days. This does not include, like I said, my social media output where I am far more productive, this is just my fiction and some editing work for friends.
(Which side note: this is not to flex, or to say that others should be able to achieve this level of output. I am a professional writer, this is my main job and only source of income. And also, I was forged in the fires of understaffed editing hell where we would be expected to churn out 100k+ a week in edits and revisions to keep on track. I have the time and a learned skillset I have spent years amassing to be able to do this and am working towards a rigid deadline. I simply have not been healthy enough in a long time to manage it, and am finally working my way back up to speed after years of illness. Don’t look at this and think, “I’m not achieving enough”, every victory no matter how small is worth celebrating. And I say that with the utmost sincerity, as someone who spent most of the last 2-3 years unable to get out of bed.)
I’ve also started using it to help keep track of bills and chores around the home. So every time something gets done/done on time, whoever completed the task gets a star on the calendar. This includes Oppy the Not-A-Roomba, who does a very good job of taking care of the house on a daily basis:
Tumblr media
ID: an image of a chore calendar denoting various tasks that have been marked off with a holographic silver star sticker, including our robot vacuum who does an excellent job and deserves all the stars. (Our names got blurred out cause ETD doesn’t want his real name out there in the world, so that’s what is blurry.)
This system is useful for several reasons, the primary one being a sense of achievement and continued motivation, and the second, to allow you to review each month to see where you are doing well, and where you might otherwise be struggling.
For example, if I have a bad day for writing or decide to take a day off, I write that down in the calendar rather than leaving it blank, so that I have a record of what went wrong (or right, if I am electing to self care that day and take a day off) and how my overall progress is doing.
In terms of house stuff, this has been especially useful for ETD and myself, as it shows us where we are managing to do a good job with the house, and where our executive dysnfunction issues really trip us up and where we need to make improvements. And I don’t just mean in an “I should try harder way”, I mean you have to actively sit down and be like “hey! What is preventing me from completing this thing” and trying to figure out effective ways to either get around it or resolve a larger issue at hand.
So for us, the biggest thing we tend to miss is doing dishes after dinner, meaning we get left with a pile-up of dishes to deal with first thing in the morning, and my ADHD can’t handle that. It won’t let me eat until I’ve cleared all the mess, but I usually don’t have the energy to clean up if I haven’t eaten, so it’s this awful cycle of ineptitude. We’re doing better with the star reward system, cause it’s showing us our progress loud and clear on the fridge door, but we are both usually so fatigued and exhausted by the end of dinner that doing dishes is just one thing too many for our mutual disorders. So, the solution for this would, of course, be a dishwasher, cause if we had one of those, we could load stuff in, turn it on, and let those dishes get done while we go to bed then put them away in the morning. We can’t afford to do that right now, and we have other appliances we need to buy/replace before we can do that (still don’t have a tumble dryer, or a washer I can access, rip) but it does give us a tangible goal to work toward, and also, the motivation to keep on top of things because it goes from “an endless task with no end in sight” to “there’s a solution for this, we can manage a while longer.”
Now you could be saying, but Joy, I’m an adult! Surely I shouldn’t expect rewards for completing every day tasks that I should be able to do?!
To which I say, neurotypical people get rewards all the time and get an unconscious dose of dopamine/serotonin from their brains every time they complete a task. They’re playing the game of life on easy mode, the gold star is your achievement for completing it daily on Nintendo 99 hard mode. IF THE STICKER WORKS, TAKE THE STICKER
YOU’VE EARNED IT.

Pedro Pascal's father says: "Everything that happens to him he deserves it enormously"

Tumblr media Tumblr media
IMDb site established the Chilean actor from "The Mandalorian" as "the most popular star in the world"
The doctor José Balmaceda remembers the difficult beginnings of his son and the current situation that he faces today. “Everybody told him they liked the way he acted but that he was too dark or too blonde for the parts," he says.
At the beginning of the year, the Internet Movie Database (IMDb), a massive international film and TV portal, raised a Chilean to entertainment heaven. It was the actor Pedro Pascal (45), who was crowned by the media as "the most popular star in the world’, according to searches by users of the site itself (which exceed 100 million visits each month). His was explained basically by the resonance of his latest projects that had him starring, for example, in the series "The Mandalorian’ (where he plays the mandalorian, Disney+), the movie "Wonder Woman 1984" (where he plays a villain) and the tape "We Can Be Heroes" (Netflix, in which he plays a superhero). Such a trio of productions — rang, according to the portal, the best professional moment for the actor

"Everything that is happening to him he deserves enormously", José Balmaceda (72) reacts to the information, an expert fertility doctor, proud father of Pascal. “I remember his tough stages, coming out of college, when he started auditioning to have problems. That had many ups and downs, it was almost a lot. Everyone told him that they liked the way he acted, but that he was too dark or too blonde for the parts. That stage lasted like 10 or 12 years. That is why | think he deserves this success very much, he was very persistent to work on what he likes. He stood firm until he was given his chance and showed his worth as an actor, "he adds.
-How do you perceive that your child is facing so much exposure and success?
-| think he is behaving like a super mature person, he continues to keep his feet on the ground, he is a good friend of his friends, very familiar. | have not seen any gesture that tells me that Pedro is behaving in a different way. The way of life he has is the same, in fact, he has not bought any ostentatious or gigantic house. He continues to live in the same house. He lives in Los Angeles Venice Beach (California), which is a simple neighborhood, without fuss, and | think it will stay that way. | think his family history and upbringing have made him act consistent with that.
Tumblr media
Born in Santiago on April 2, 1975, Pedro left Chile at nine months to settle with his parents first in Denmark and then in the United States, where he studied and became an actor. And although he had dozens of appearances in TV series such as "The Good Wife’ (2009-2011), only after his role as Oberyn Martell in "Game of Thrones" (2013), did his name reach remembrance on a planetary level.
Don José takes up the word: “When Disney Plus arrived in Chile (November 17, 2020) I took the opportunity to see The Mandalorian right away. It took me two days to do it. Pedro likes Star Wars and that show is for young people. | see it as a western for young audiences, and in that case Pedro would be Clint Eastwood. He is very good in his role, but if | had to choose | would stick with his performance in Game of Thrones, it was magnificent. "
-With so many projects and things your child has to do, how do you communicate?
-We have a family WhatsApp group called "Abuelo Pepe", where Pedro and the rest of the family communicate. There we discussed things, we send each other photos, we talk from grandchildren to politics.
-And calls?
-Of course. When he was in Croatia and in Budapest filming a movie with Nicolas Cage ("The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent"), we talked many times, because he was locked up for a long time and alone because of the pandemic. Besides, I'm an intruder and | love knowing what he's doing. | ask you to show me the sets a bit, etc ... | am very cinephile and very Tevito, to the point where it has caused me problems with my _ partner, hahaha.
Tumblr media
-| imagine that being a movie fan it must be powerful to see your son as a movie star.
-It is a very great honor, although one begins to get used to it. In any case, it is always exciting to see him on the screen, to be able to recognize his performance between his gestures. | find it interesting to watch.
-When does he come to Chile?
-Pedro usually comes to Chile a couple of times during the year, generally the longest is during Christmas. At that time we usually take a family trip, in the last five years we have done it like that. But this year we did not do it because of the pandemic ... | do not know when he can come, but I am going to take care of making him come in February (2021), although I do not think he will be successful.
Tumblr media
On January 3, the Twitter user @illicitaffers published a video dedicated entirely to Pedro Pascal, which until the closing of this edition had more than 255 thousand views. In it, reference was made to the actor's relationship with Chile, through interviews, television appearances and some jokes, where the actor is ripped off Chileanisms (the account has since been deactivated). "| saw the video, as always | was a little late and it's funny, without a doubt he has a very close relationship with Chile,’ says Don José Balmaceda, Pedro's father.
According to him, this closeness is due to the trips that the actor took as a boy to the country. He continues: “While the children were in basic education (in the US) we always sent them, every summer, up to here... We had a relationship with Chile," says Don José Balmaceda, Pedro's father.
According to him, this closeness is due to the trips that the actor took as a boy to the country. He continues: “While the children were in basic education (in the US) we always sent them, every summer, up to here... We had a friend pilot who helped us, and they spent two or three months with the Balmaceda family or Pascal". "Besides that (his love for Chile) is a translation of the affection that we had for the country, continues the father, who declares himself somewhat responsible for some very Chilean expressions that the artist uses. "That is the influence of the father, who is quite a scribbler,’ he ends.
