i am the second option, which happened just over a week ago. the wild thing is that i was home alone and regained consciousness on my own (!!!) i’m still clueless how long i was out and in what way i passed out, just recovery cues like muscle pain in my shoulders, neck, and an even more messed up equilibrium.

BONUS for those who do remember - feel free to tell me in the tags if you always remembered since the incident or if the memory recovered over time? might give me some assurance if i’ll ever remember or never will

I like to think that Arbok's hood patterns are influenced by their environment. When they evolve, they can take on the markings of their parent, or maybe they take after the trainer who raised them (who may or may not have an intimidating look to them)

Precious Gift

The most beautiful part of @yamujiburo hanamusa's lore for me is Ash's emotional evolution and acceptance. For a character that surprisingly did not evolve much in its own journey (in a show full of evolutions) and made the same mistakes year after year, this proximity with Jessie is my most expected part of this story

this post is a conversation between me myself & i and if it resonates with you in any way, feel free to take this with you - whether i once believed this and then forgot about it along the way OR i didn't really think about this before and just fathomed it now, but if you've created something here (gifs/edits/videos/art/fics/etc) and you labelled it as something "less than" or separate from what you define as art or being an artist, just know that there are people who see you from what this is and it is ART, you are an ARTIST

i am guilty for having the former mindset for quite some time. i was granted some space to think about how i define creative fulfillment and what being an artist means to me and i thought about all the edits ive made on this blog but for some reason, i dismissed and treated it as a separate entity from what i wanted to define my art as. maybe it had to something to do with ownership or having a specific style/having to reinvent my techniques. whatever i said/thought art should be, i didn't think to apply it to what i was currently making. i shared this conversation with someone recently and their response was what i needed to hear:

"how is what you're doing with these lyrics and poems and tying them to media that you connect with any different than how a writer or a painter gets inspiration from the sea or how music makes all of us feel? you are saying to me that what you're doing isn't art, but to me it is." reader, i CRIED

so if anyone hasn't told you lately or you haven't believed in this before -
