#and he learns to love and embrace his korean side thanks to her

Ok so I've been learning Korean recently and thought it was so cute how 포포(popo) means kiss and 포도(podo) means grapes.
So Ive been thinking of a cute scenario with Mark where his s/o is learning korean and mixes the two up when asking for grapes and it makes mark super flustered.
omg my boy mark lee 🥹 i could easily imagine his flustered face lmao should i name this "the grape mistake"? 👀 sorry anyway, thanks so much for requesting this! let me know what you think ♡ hope you liked this! a/n: not proofread. lowercase intended.
mark was working in the studio late at night when you texted him that you'll be visiting him at the company to bring him some snacks and just hang out until he finishes work since you didn't have anything to do the next day anyway.
he mentioned about craving some street food the other day, and so you went to the night market. of course, knowing how much your boyfriend loves watermelon, you started looking for the nearest fruit stand. much to your dismay, the only fruit stand that was open that time ran out of everything else except grapes.
it hasn't been that long since you have moved to korea, but you were already quite quick to learn the language (also thanks to mark's help). however, you never really bothered to learn some of the most basic words for some reason. like fruits, for example.
you were just standing in front of the fruit stand quietly for about a minute, trying to remember a word you never even learned before. you were just about to say grapes in english when the stall owner decided to speak first.
"do you want to buy some grapes? they're fresh," she said. you knew she was talking about the grapes (because obviously there was nothing else in her stall but grapes), but it was the first time you've ever heard of the korean word for it.
"i'm so sorry, but what do you call this fruit in korean?" you asked, hoping she wouldn't find your question too silly. the stall owner gave you a bit of a puzzled look before realizing that you were a foreigner.
"it's called podo," she kindly repeated. after thanking the kind lady and memorizing the word in your brain, you went on your way to mark's studio.
on normal occasions, nobody else but strictly the company staff and artists were allowed to enter the building. however, thanks to mark's popularity within the company and the company actually owing him a lot of gratitude, you were given a bit of a special treatment as his girlfriend.
you were about to knock on the door of his studio but decided otherwise, thinking he might be in the middle of recording something and end up disrupting his work. instead, you sent him a text message that you were already outside of his studio, and thankfully, he was able to immediately open the door for you.
"my babyyy," he greeted in english, clearly delighted to see you again. more often than not, the two of you spoke in english whenever you're alone together. when his members are around, however, you'd mix korean here and there.
he ushered you inside before taking the food you bought for him and placing it on an empty table. he then opened his arms wide and patted his chest for you to come to him for a hug.
"you know you didn't have to bother, but thank you so much for all of this, babe" mark said as he tightened his embrace. "really appreciate it, thank you."
right after eating, mark went back to work while you quietly scrolled through your phone. the two of you were in comfortable silence though, and that was one of the many things that mark appreciated about you. you weren't the type to constantly seek for his attention, and you knew how to entertain yourself when he's busy.
"babe, there are still some grapes left, right? can you please get them for me?" he asked. you got on your feet and passed him the remaining grapes.
"thank you," he said before putting his headphones back on. he placed the grapes on the right side, which was on the other side from where you were seated.
while you were scrolling through your phone, you could see mark pop a grape or two in his mouth every now and then while he was on his computer. you never got the chance to taste one while you were eating earlier (because you were too full), and looking at mark just eating it so deliciously made you want to have some, too.
mark was about to put another grape in his mouth when you lightly poked his left arm. he then looked at you, the grape still between his right thumb and index finger.
"podo juseyo~" you asked in an aegyo voice, both hands open in a gesture to receive. mark blinked at you twice, suddenly feeling flustered while you were there just cutely blinking your eyes at him, waiting for him to give you the grape he was holding.
"w-what?" he nervously asked, his ears turning red at seeing you ask for a 'kiss' after briefly having a coughing fit (poor boy just choked on his own spit). it was definitely not the first time the two of you have shared a kiss, but it was the first time for him to see you ask for it so cutely.
"podo," you repeated. "isn't grape called podo in korean?"
mark's mouth fell in an 'o' after realizing what you have just said. he took off his headphones and asked you again if you were asking for podo, and not a kiss.
you broke into laughter, with mark sheepishly laughing along with you for his mistake. after laughing for a good minute or two, you then took mark's right hand (which was still holding the grape).
"babe, we can get the best of both worlds," you said, still chuckling and smiling in between. mark looked puzzled, wondering what you meant.
"we get to split the grape in two and kiss each other at the same time. like this," you raised mark's hand to your mouth, placing the grape between your teeth and motioning for him to lean forward.
mark chuckled at your idea but leaned in for a kiss and a bite of the grape anyway. needless to say, it was literally the sweetest and juiciest kiss he ever had.
- end.
requests are OPEN! feel free to send me an ask ♡

if the vb gang could go anywhere in the world, where would they choose to go? - space :D
ah vb au asks my absolute beloved <3
kurt: paris is a must for him. i'd say he probably has been there at least once for work (bc vogue) but i think it quickly became one of his favourite places to travel to. i'd also add europe in general tho! i can't think of specific towns/cities rn but i think he would love visiting castles and small towns and wanting to reenact scenes from movies like roman holiday
finn: ok mist n i were talking and we considered stuff like the natural wonders of the world (grand canyon, great barrier reef, etc)! i think he would've seen the ocean once as a child/teen (thanks to santana) and realised that he is just very in awe of nature's wonders and wants to see more of them, yknow? which i think is one of the reasons he n britt end up getting along so well. but also he'd see iconic locations in movies and want to visit those. so places like the rocky steps (aka the philadelphia museum of art. would he go into the museum? who knows. but he would take a photo on the steps bc rocky <3)
santana: i think that as much as santana likes the liveliness and energy of big cities like nyc, she ultimately finds herself longing for her extended family's home in mexico. not necessarily for long-term stays but more like an escape and a place where she can just relax and recharge bc she definitely needs that
britt: getting to go to like,,, the international space station would be her biggest dream. but she knows it's not likely to happen so if we're talking on earth she'd try to hit up the observatories/planetariums in/near every city she visits. which becomes a bit easier once she's travelling internationally ofc
quinn: i think she'd want to road trip through europe. some of the stuff i wrote for kurt might apply more to quinn in terms of visiting castles, museums, medieval cities, stuff like that. she'd probably really enjoy immersing herself in these places and learning more about their histories and cultures :)
tina: i think at some point in her life, tina would feel the urge to learn more about/try to connect with her korean heritage, so i could see her wanting to go there and just. really embrace that side of her?
sugar: in some ways i'm inclined to say sugar probably could go almost anywhere in the world bc... she's rich... so i think her destination would 100% depend on her mood and her schedule? but she could just go "oh i feel like going to europe for a week <3" or "haha what if i just went to LA for the weekend" on a whim and just do it without any issues and i love that for her

DANIEL AND DELLA INTERACTIONS🤲🤲🤲🤲🤲🤲🤲🤲🤲🤲🤲🤲‼️💥💳💥💳💥💳💥
sorry this took so long ☹️ i was just gonna include this in upcoming i-land chapters but that’s gonna take a whiiille (since daniel was in ground in majority of pt 1)
bringing back mini chapters since long ones are.. hard for me rn... i have the ideas but i can’t seem to put them down on paper
“Dude, if I call you Dani, are you D-A-N-I or D-A-N-N-Y?” Della asked. “-and in Hangul, is it 다니 like 다니엘 or 댄니?” [dani — daniel — daenni]
“D-A-N-N-Y no? Isn’t D-A-N-I short for Danielle or something? And I guess it’s… 다니.. wait no 댄니..? Both don’t sound right.” [dani — daenni]
“Right?! 다니? 댄니..? It’s just Dani, y’know? Also- D-A-N-I can be short for Daniel too I mean- it’s completely up to you.”
“True, and I guess D-A-N-I seems more fitting to me rather than D-A-N-N-Y ‘cause it sounds a bit too-”
“What are you guys talking about…?” Sunoo couldn’t take it anymore.
“All I heard is 다니, 댄니, D-A-N-I-N-N, why, why,” Jungwon chuckled.
“Right, me too,” Sunoo laughed.
“I hope my dad is proud of me,” Alice smiled to herself as she was flipping her salisbury steaks. Double D were assisting Jay and Alice in the kitchen. “Embracing my American side.”
“Wait! I just realised!” Daniel exclaimed. “The chefs are the Korean-Americanz!”
“Dani, I’m not American” “She’s not American” “Della’s not a foreigner,” Jay, Alice and Della said in unison.
“You’re not?!” Daniel looked at Della with wide eyes.
“Where did you hear that?!” the girl looked so confused.
“Huh.. I guess I was hoping for us to seem more like siblings.”
Tumblr media
“It’s kinda hilarious how most of the hyungs have a crush on you,” Daniel blurted out while they were waiting for everyone else to finish getting ready for the stage.
“Dani!” Della’s eyes widened. She removed her head from his shoulder to slap his arm. “The staff!” she whisper-yelled.
“They’re all busy tending to the others, they can’t hear us,” he assured.
The girl turned her attention to the crowd of people. Half of which are the I-Landers (excluding K, Hanbin and Alice since they were also done) and the other being the staff.
Just in time to catch all the I-Landers staring at her and Daniel. She sent a wink over to Jungwon, who was the only one who didn’t immediately look away.
“As much as I love you and see you as my noona. Try not to hurt them, okay? Most of them are going to be in the same group and you will most probably be in it too so I hope you come to a conclusion that doesn’t mess up the dynamic or anything,” she sighed at his advice.
“Honestly- I’ve never caught feelings for more than one person before, and I’ve also never rejected someone I actually like-like,” he wrapped an arm around her and pushed her head to lay on his shoulder again.
“You’re a smart girl, Lala. I’m sure you can figure out what’s best for everyone.”
Tumblr media
“Oh my God- I just realised you’re born in 06, you’re really young,” Della suddenly said while laying down on the other blue room bed. “I keep forgetting since you’re so tall and mature.”
“That’s flattering, Delle, thank you,” Daniel shifted in his bed to show her his smile. “We’re almost exactly three years apart.”
“Plus we’re both INFJ and our initials are KD,” Daniel’s eyes widened while he pointed to the girl.
“Broo,” Della reciprocated his gesture. “-and we both speak English and we’re both tall.”
“And we both like romance and horror!” her eyes widened again. “And we both need something to hug while we sleep!”
“Okay- well you just learned that a couple hours ago from my PR video but yes!” he sat up from excitement. “Ah but you’re not an only child.”
“Nahh. I was for seven years though,” she let out a small smile while looking at the younger. “I might introduce you to my sister when she gets older and you’re both single or something.”
“Noo, why are you saying that like we’re not gonna debut together?! I’m gonna meet your sister and parents soon, Delle, and you’re gonna meet my parents too.”

“We Really Are Just Friends” - Seokjin
-------------------------------------
"I don't know, (y/n), this guy you've been seeing kind of seems like a goofball if you ask me..." your best friend Kim Seokjin told you, keeping his eyes fixated on the road in front of him.
You turned away from your phone and stared at his tall, lean body in the driver's seat next to you. The bangs of his dark brown hair covered his forehead and his brown eyes were shielded by a pair of dark sunglasses. He wore a pair of medium wash jeans and a simple white t shirt under a gray zip up hoodie. Classic Jin.
You scoffed.
"Gosh, Jinnie, tell me how you really feel," you replied sarcastically.
Jin chuckled to himself.
"He is not a 'goofball'," you continued, "he is literally one of the nicest guys ever. And how would you even know, you've never even met him."
Jin shrugged.
"So how about I meet him then."
You stared at him in disbelief.
"Sorry, what?"
Jin stopped his Lamborghini at the red stoplight, removed his sunglasses and turned his head to face you.
The butterfly feeling formed in your stomach when his gaze met yours, but by now you had learned how to ignore it.
"If he's as great as you say he is, how about you introduce him to me?"
You turned away and fiddled with the hem of your shirt.
Introduce the guy you were dating to one of the most famous people in the world? Introduce him to your best friend, who also happened to be male?
But most of all, introduce him to the man you were trying so hard to admit to yourself you didn't have feelings for?
None of that sounded like a good idea.
"Uhh.. I don't know if that's a good idea, Jinnie..." you mumbled.
Before Jin could respond, a black car pulled up next to his side of the car and the sound of a camera clicking and voices shouting in Korean interrupted your conversation.
"Aiiishhh, come on..." Jin mumbled, putting his sunglasses back on as well as pulling the hood of his sweatshirt over his head.
Despite the windows being expertly tinted, you froze and looked down at your phone, mentally willing the light to turn green.
You had been in this situation before and Jin knew how uncomfortable it made you; not every gossip company followed the laws that were put in place. You knew it was all part of being best friends with Jin, but it still felt weird and invasive.
"Why won't this fucking light turn green?" you heard Jin say under his breath as he continued to ignore the men trying to get a good look at him through the window. He anxiously tapped his foot on the car floor and gripped the steering wheel so tightly his knuckles turned white.
Finally the light turned, and Jin stepped on the accelerator so hard that the engine revved and your back hit the seat.
He quickly turned down a side street and was able to lose the car that had been following.
You let out a sigh of relief.
Jin glanced at you, then gently placed his large hand on your bare knee.
A shock went through your whole body at the mere contact of his skin on yours.
"Sorry, (y/n)-ah. I know you hate that. Are you okay?"
You turned to him and nodded.
"Yeah, it's okay. It's not your fault." you replied quietly.
The two of you drove a few minutes in a content silence, the only noise was the soft tune of Jin's music playing in the background.
"So, can I meet this new boyfriend of yours or not?" Jin suddenly questioned, breaking the silence.
Was there a hint of jealousy in his voice or had you just wishfully imagined it?
"Okay, a)he's not my boyfriend and b)..I just...I don't know..." you responded, biting your lip.
"Well what's the problem?" he asked, still sounding playful but also slightly annoyed.
You pointed towards his window and exclaimed,
"This kind of stuff Seokjin! People follow you everywhere! If we run into them he might get... intimidated or something," your voice got softer, "it's a scary thing to deal with at first..."
Jin removed his hood and ran his hand through his hair. The muscles on his face twitched slightly, a sign he was either thinking hard, feeling stressed, or both.
"Yeah, okay, I understand..." he said with a sigh.
You looked at him for a moment, trying to decipher what he was feeling.
"It's just, well, you've been my best friend for almost three years now, (y/n)," he said suddenly, "And it's the first time you've had serious feelings for a guy in that time. I guess I just think it's important I meet him. I know you best out of anyone in the world and I care about you, you know? I want to make sure you're not with someone who will treat you badly."
You smiled. You loved when Jin got protective.
"So you're like my older brother now?" you joked.
Jin didn't take his eyes off the road and furrowed his eyebrows.
"I don't know if I would say that exactly..." he mumbled.
You let out a heavy sigh. You knew he was right, Jin did know you best out of anyone. And if another guy was going to be in your life it was best to start off honestly; no surprises later about being best friends with an idol known all over the world. So you knew you should definitely tell him about Jin... just maybe not everything about Jin...
"Okay, fine, you can meet him," you grumbled.
A huge smile spread across Jin's face.
"But it's going to be at my apartment, nowhere in public, okay? I'll make you guys dinner or something," you told him.
Jin briefly glanced at you with a cheeky grin.
"Yah, this guy as no idea what he's in for."
You rolled your eyes.
"You better not try anything, Mr. Kim... don't make me regret this."
*
The night Jin and the guy you were seeing, whose name was Andrew and was also a fluent English-speaker studying in Seoul, came faster than you expected, and with every minute leading up to it you became more and more nervous.
Around 6:50pm the doorbell to your apartment rang. You took a deep breath, straightened out your mid-thigh length black dress, ran your fingers through your long hair and opened the door.
"(y/n)-ah!" Jin threw his arms out, smiled wide and wrapped around you in a tight embrace.
"Oh, I thought it was going to be Andrew..." you said, releasing yourself from his grasp and shutting the door behind him.
You felt your heart pound against your chest. Why were you so nervous?
"Well, sorry to disappoint," Jin sat down on the couch and propped his feet up, "So why is this Andrew guy late?"
You leaned against the wall and glared at Jin.
"He's not late, you're just weirdly early."
Jin glanced at his expensive watch and knitted his eyebrows.
"Oh, I guess I am early, sorry (y/n)-ah. But my mother always said, it's better to arrive early than on time!"
You cocked your head and sighed.
"Why are you being so weird?"
Before Jin could answer the doorbell rang again.
He stood up quickly and followed you to the door.
Your shaky hands smoothed out your hair and dress once more.
"Don't worry (y/n), you look beautiful," Jin whispered in your ear, sending a shiver down your spine.
You opened the door and there stood Andrew, holding a beautiful bouquet of pink roses and a bottle of white wine.
"Hi, Andrew, come on in," you smiled.
Andrew smiled back and leaned in to kiss the side of your cheek.
"Hey, (y/n). I, uh, brought you these," he handed you the flowers and held up the bottle of wine, "And I brought this, too, though I wasn't sure if you liked wine..."
"She's more of a beer person actually," Jin chimed in from behind you.
Andrew glanced nervously at him then back to you.
"Oh, uh, I'm sorry, I didn't know..."
You shook your head and gave him a reassuring smile.
"No, no, it's okay. It was so nice of you, thank you."
You turned to Jin, who towered a good 4 inches over Andrew.
"Andrew, this is my best friend Jin, Jin this is Andrew."
They shook hands as Andrew said,
"Hey man, nice to meet you. I've never really heard your music but I'm sure it's good stuff based on how popular it is."
You noticed Jin's grip on Andrew's hand get tighter.
"Mmmhmm thanks, you really should listen to it sometime," Jin replied.
"So, dinner is ready if you guys are hungry we can eat now," you suggested, leading them into the dining room.
"Oh, yeah, I'm starved, eating sounds great," Andrew responded following you, with Jin not far behind.
The boys took their seats; the table was set with you sitting at the head and Andrew and Jin sitting across from each other.
"The roast is in the oven and the vegetables are on the stove so I'm going to go grab them and bring them out. I'll be right back."
Andrew started to get out of his chair.
"Do you need any help?" he asked.
But before you could reply Jin shot up from his seat.
"No, no, I got it" he said to him, walking towards you and the kitchen door.
"Oh..okay..." Andrew hesitantly sat back down as Jin and you entered the kitchen.
"Can you please STOP?" you whispered harshly at Jin, shoving the pot of green beans in his hands.
Jin failed at hiding the grin on his face.
"Stop what?" he asked innocently, giving you a wink.
You rolled your eyes.
"You know what, Jin. Come on, give the guy a break."
The two of you went back into the dining room and placed the food on the table. Then you dished it out and you all started eating in an awkward silence.
Andrew was the first to break it, turning to you and asking,
"So how long have you guys been friends?"
Jin spoke up quickly, with a heap of semi-chewed green beans still in his mouth.
"Oh we've been best friends for about 3 years now. We actually met at a fansign event for my band. It's a funny story, (y/n) came down the line of my fellow members and started massively freaking out when she got to me. It was the cutest thing ever. She had the absolute BIGGEST crush on me, like to the point of obsession-"
You quickly cut him off.
"It wasn't THAT big..." you laughed nervously, glancing at Andrew.
Jin shook his head.
"No, it was, it was. Remember? After we became friends you even admitted you were that obsessed with me. Anyways, she just seemed so goofy and adorable and sweet I just knew I had to see her again. So I asked for her number and the next time I was in America we hung out. Then she moved here for graduate school and I guess the rest is history!"
Andrew chuckled slightly and cleared his throat.
"That is, uh, yeah, a funny story..."
Then there was silence again.
"I actually just got back from a trip to Japan with my family," Andrew said, "It was so beautiful. Have you ever been to Japan, (y/n)?"
"(y/n) and I went to Japan last year, just for a fun vacation right after I finished my world tour," Jin answered for you, "you're right, it was beautiful. Not as beautiful as Nice in France though, right (y/n)-ah? We went there a few months ago. All around Europe actually; England, France, Italy... it was a great trip. I didn't really want to go at first, but of course she convinced me. She had wanted to go for years so I just couldn't say no."
The rest of dinner went mostly like that. Andrew would direct questions towards you, but Jin would always answer them before you could even open your mouth. By the time the three of you were finished with the meal, you had barely spoken at all. You knew Jin was doing it to keep an eye out for you, but it was getting very annoying.
And apparently you weren't the only person who thought so.
"I made pie for dessert," you said, starting to rid up the plates, "I'll go grab it from the kitchen," Jin started to get up but you stopped him, "And I don't need help, thank you, I'll get it myself."
You went into the kitchen and placed the dirty dishes in the sink, sighing to yourself. Tonight was not going how you had planned.
You grabbed the homemade apple pie you had made off the countertop and turned around, only to be met with Andrew standing behind you.
"Andrew," you said, "hey."
He scratched the back of his head and looked down at his feet.
"(y/n), listen, I think I'm actually going to head out..."
You looked at him in shock and put the pie back down.
"What? You don't have to go... why are you leaving?"
He sighed and looked up at you.
"Well, if I'm being honest... it kind of seems like there's something going on between you two," he gestured toward the dining room. Toward Jin.
You stared at him in disbelief.
"Look, don't get me wrong, you're a great girl, I just... I don't feel comfortable. It just seems like you guys have some things to work out. I don't really want to stick around like an idiot just waiting for the girl he's dating to tell him she has feelings for her best friend."
You shook your head and put your hands up. Was this really happening? You were getting rejected because of Jin?
"No, no, no, I don't have feelings for Jin... we really are just friends."
But it came out way less convincing than you thought it would.
Andrew sighed.
"Okay, well, it was nice hanging out with you," he kissed your cheek, "good luck with everything."
And with that he walked out of the kitchen and you heard the front door open then shut behind him.
Suddenly you felt furious.
Furious at Andrew because he was right, you did have feelings for Jin. Furious at Jin for wrecking any chance of getting over those feelings. But mostly furious at yourself for still wishing Jin felt that way about you, too.
Your hands balled up into fists as you walked back into the dining room.
Jin was standing up, a smug smile plastered across his face.
You glared at him and stomped towards him, pushing his chest with your hands.
"What the hell, Seokjin-ah?? I thought I told you to be nice! Now he's gone and-" but before you could finish Jin grabbed your wrists, bent his head down and put his plump, soft lips on yours.
He kissed you tenderly as your body melted into his. Your heart started to feel fuller than ever and all the anger just seemed to disappear.
You pulled away and was met with Jin smiling down softly at you.
"Aiisshh, it's about time he left," he said, holding you at your waist.
You stared at him confusingly.
"I-I don't understand.."
He tucked a piece of your hair behind your ear and studied your face.
"Listening to you talk about another guy, thinking about you with another guy, and especially seeing you with another guy made me so... mad. Right when he came in it hit me how much I wanted it to be me with you, not him, not anyone else. I love you, (y/n), I've loved you since we met that day three years ago."
You smiled wide and couldn't believe what you were hearing.
"Oh Jinnie-ah... I love you, too."
Then you both shared another wonderful kiss followed by a delicious slice of apple pie.

can u PLEASE write a fic where chayenzo is together but they want to hide it from the rest of the crew so they’re trying to bang in the office but mr nam is on the way so they have to pretend that nothing is happening
read on ao3 : https://archiveofourown.org/works/30911159
I only realised after writing this that this does not follow the prompt but I hope you like it nonetheless.
“It’s not a secret. I just want it to be private. We’re colleagues and business partners, it’s inappropriate for us to be in a relationship”, Cha-young had said after Vincenzo asked her why they couldn’t just tell everyone. He had just nodded, still unsure as to why Cha-young suddenly seemed to care about what was appropriate and what wasn’t.
Their whole secret-relationship thing would be way easier if Mr. Nam wasn’t always the first one to arrive at the office.
Somehow, the paralegal has never once been late in his career.
Cha-young has been working as a lawyer for almost a decade now, so she’s used to waking up at dawn, and Vincenzo wakes up naturally with the sun.
It’s weird that, ever since they’ve gotten together, they can’t seem to arrive at the office before 8:30. Sometimes, they swear they’re going to make it, but Vincenzo forgets his phone and they have to turn the car around.
Often, Vincenzo’s 10 minute morning shower turns into a 30 minute love-making session after Cha-young sneaks behind the curtain. Other times, they give themselves 5 more minutes to enjoy each other’s embrace, unwilling to get out of bed.
Vincenzo is slowly learning that greed isn’t just about money, gold or power. Sometimes, greed is never having enough of Cha-young’s touches, of her voice moaning his name, of her hair in his fist, of her. It’s refusing to let go of her hand in public, it’s fighting off sleep just to listen to her rant about something that happened with a client that day, it’s never wanting to be apart from her.
And so, they all but move in together. At first, he stays over at hers because he’s too tired to drive back. Then, the next time he comes over he brings a toothbrush, and his favorite pair of pyjamas. After that, it’s because he’s renovating his place at Geumga Plaza. Weeks turns into months, and suddenly they’re looking for their own apartment.
Cha-young doesn’t like all the nostalgia the house carries, and she thinks it’s not appropriate for them to sleep in her teenage bedroom. She decides to rent it and they move into a cosy two-bedroom close to the office. It’s nothing extravagant like what he’s used to in Italy, but it’s new and it’s home. Living together, however, makes it harder for them to keep their relationship a secret.
(“It’s not a secret. I just want it to be private. We’re colleagues and business partners, it’s inappropriate for us to be in a relationship”, Cha-young had said after Vincenzo asked her why they couldn’t just tell everyone.
He had just nodded, still unsure as to why Cha-young suddenly seemed to care about what was appropriate and what wasn’t.)
It meant that they couldn’t be seen arriving together in the morning too often, which proved difficult when they drove Cha-young’s car every day.
“Oh, you guys are early today!”, Mr. Nam had once noticed.
“Uhm, yes! Mr. Cassano’s car is in the garage. I gave him a ride. Because that’s what business partners do. Haha”, Cha-young had quickly clarified. As if clarification was even needed in the first place.
Mr. Nam vaguely acquiesced, engrossed in the folder he was reading.
“Smooth”, Vincenzo mouthed at her, teasing.
Clearly, he was unappreciative of her efforts to protect their relationship.
It was only a matter of time before they got caught. It was a late evening in the office, later than their usual ones.
They’d been working on a big case for a union going up against a huge chain of supermarkets and their key witness suddenly declared he could not testify anymore. Midnight turned 3 am, then 4. Suddenly, it was 5 am and the three of them had pulled yet another all-nighter, reading thousands of pages of obscure legislations and jurisprudence, desperately trying to find a loophole.
“I’m going home to shower. I’ll come back in an hour.”, Mr. Nam said, rubbing his eyes before putting on his coat.
“Make sure to call a cab, riding Cheetah would be too dangerous right now.”
“Thank you, Mrs. Hong”
Vincenzo and Cha-young were now alone in the office, the first rays of sun peaking through the blinds.
The Italian-Korean man got up from his chair, massaging his neck while walking towards their coffee station set-up he’s learned to love.
“Oppa, I’m so tired.”, his girlfriend calls, using the annoyingly high-pitched voice reserved for when she wants to play around.
“Don’t.” She pouts. “Coffee?”
“Mmh, yes please.” It’s her turn to get up now. She walks up to him and wraps her arms around his waist while he prepares their drinks, letting her hands roam on his upper body.
“Cha-young-ah.”, he warns.
“What?”
“Aren’t you tired?”, he sounds unsure but interested. Good.
“I am. That’s why I’m trying to wake myself up.” She stands on her toes and kisses the spot where his jaw meets his neck with an open mouth. She feels his hair rise before she sees it.
Vincenzo abandons their coffees and turns around, one hand resting just above her ass while the other runs through her hair. “Mmh. Be careful, at this pace you’ll wake up our friend over here too.”, he says, looking down at his trousers.
Cha-young shrugs before circling her arms around his neck. “Oh well, the more the merrier, am I-” He cuts her off with a kiss and she smiles through it. Of course he’d beat her to it.
They start making out, enjoying each other’s taste. His stubble scratches her skin but it’s not unpleasant. Kissing him feels like a gift and a punishment wrapped in one, always exhilarating yet never enough. She needs more.
Soon enough, she tugs at his hair. He bites her lower lip, ‘Be patient.’. He grabs her ass with both of his hands and lifts her up. She can feel him, hard against her inner thigh, and Cha-young thinks for a second that if he doesn’t take her now, she might die on the spot. Luckily for her, he wastes no time in sweeping all the piles of documents off the central table before putting her down. The office is a mess they’ll have to clean up later, but neither of them care.
They’re both panting now, Cha-young sat on the table and Vincenzo in between her legs. “Can I?”, he asks, his hand hovering over her zipper. She nods enthusiastically and before she knows it her trousers fall to the ground.
“Someone’s eager...”, she’s about to tease but the sight of him loosening his tie and dropping to his knees silence her.
Oh.
Slowly, he trails wet kisses up her leg until he reaches her inner thigh. She feels hot all over, the ache between her legs impossible to ignore. Looking up at her, he smirks, clearly satisfied by her red cheeks and laboured breathing.
“Now.”, she commands and he obeys. Pulling her closer, he positions her knees over his shoulders, ready to start pleasing her. He’s about to kiss her where she so desperately needs it when they hear a scream.
They both jump when they see Mr. Nam, who’s now facing the other way, head in his hands. Scrambling to puts their clothes back on, Cha-young thinks she’s about to faint.
“Oh my God, I’m so sorry, I-”, Mr. Nam starts.
“You said you were going home to-to shower! What are you doing here?”, Vincenzo is clearly just as embarrassed as she is.
“I forgot my keys! I got in front of my house and I realised- Wait! That’s not the issue here. What are you doing in the office? I know you’re dating but still, I work here too, you know. Sometimes, I really feel like the third wheel and I know it’s not intentional but-”
“WAIT, you knew?”, Cha-young cuts him off.
“Knew what?”
“That... Mr. Cassano and I... we’re together?”, Cha-young is now hiding behind Vincenzo’s back, only her head pocking out.
“Was I not supposed to know?”, Mr. Nam asks, and from where she is Cha-young thinks he might be crying.
She doesn’t know what to say, and Vincenzo is the one to hand Mr. Nam his keys. They apologise profusely as he leaves, probably scarred for life.
Cha-young sinks to the ground, hugging her knees. Her boyfriend crouches down next to her, a reassuring hand patting her back. “Everyone knows? About us?” He nods. She screams. She gets up again, flailing her arms and pulling out her hair.
“Why would you not tell me? I’ve been making a fool of myself trying to keep this a secret-”
“I thought you said it wasn’t a secret?”, he interrupts.
“Aaah, whatever. I’ll just never show my face again. I quit.” She’s on her way to the door when Vincenzo pulls her into a hug.
“Don’t worry, tesoro. He’ll forget about it soon enough.”, He kisses her forehead, her cheeks, her nose and finally her lips, trying to comfort her. He’d always been better with actions rather than words.
“You think?”, again, Vincenzo nods.
She shrugs and kisses him softly, her hands cradling his cheeks. “Thank you, oppa. Now, where were we?” She asks, wiggling her eyebrows.
He bursts out laughing, eyes closed and mouth wide open, a sight she didn’t get to enjoy often.
Yes, everything will be okay, she thinks. How could it not be, when she has him by her side?

I've never done a match up before but it sounds like it would be fun! Valorant match up please!
I'm M, I got by she/her & they/them pronouns, I'd really prefer to matched with a man. I'm 5'2, have messy short hair that is cut above my shoulders of dyed black hair with red tips, dark brown eyes.
I really like my quiet, loud noises can kinda irk me after a while, I do like music though. I can play any string instrument (including harp) and also play piano but I prefer upright bass and electric bass. I sing as well and sometimes hum when I clean or work. I prefer aggressive and rock music but enjoy all music. I'm really sensitive to the temperatures. I don’t really watch movies or tv, I prefer books or watching streamers. I have OCD and it makes me need everything to have it’s own spot but I can still embrace a little mess.
I’m a little stupid sometimes, get very confused with directions and my words sometimes. I know Latin and I’m still learning Korean currently.
Ive always had a very teasing and borderline almost flirtatious personality and want my partner to be able to slap back at me with witty comebacks. I've always valued humor in my partners. But I need someone can still be serious while having humor. I don’t really like pda at all, handholding is probably the farthest, maybe a hug even. I kinda like a partner would be vocal with their affection but not physical. I tend to be kinda timid so I’d want someone a little more dominant to help me.
I know this was a lot I’m sorry, I just really like listing off stuff, I hope it at least help. I think this matchup stuff is so cool!
[A/N: Hello darling! Don't be sorry, I'm honestly glad that you gave me a lot of information, it made it much easier to find a match. And thank you for participating in this event and thinking it's cool, I might do this more in the future.]
I pair you with...
YORU!
Tumblr media
Why? Because...
Just like you, Yoru loves peace and quiet, which can be rarely found in the Protocol. Loud noises irritate and annoy the shit out of him, especially Breach loud and talkative people. He likes that he can spend time with you in silence, just taking in each other's presence, no words needed.
He's a fan of music too but his taste differs from yours. While you like aggressive rock music, he prefers Japanese hip hop. He jams to his playlist while riding around town in his customized motorcycle. Even so, he's open to listen to your type of music and will even make a playlist of rock songs he thinks you'll like, he'll even go as far as to get concert tickets. And sure, he's not a big fan of classical music but it's not gonna stop him from wanting to see and hear you play, he wants to support you after all, and he doesn't mind if you practice in his room. Just hearing you play, sing, or even hum reminds him of your company and it makes him smile (on the inside).
It's fine if you don't really watch movies or shows, he can understand that and even be considerate to you. He's a big Marvel fan and he actually has a collection of comics in his room which are very well hidden. While you're reading a book, he'll put on his earphones and watch the movie on his phone so that he won't disturb you. He's a big gamer too and he'll often watch streamers with you while eating takeout he ordered.
You can say he's somewhat of a neat freak, you can tell by the way he keeps his room clean and well-organized. He just can't focus and work in a messy room, it greatly irks him and wonders how can someone live in this mess.
He's always on your side, he's a little impatient but he tries his best to explain things a little easier for you if you don't understand. He'll introduce you to Jett so you can learn and improve on your Korean, he knows how notes are important in learning a language so he goes ahead and buys notebooks for you to write in. If you ever want to learn Japanese, just ask him, he'd be more than willing to teach you.
Yoru is the king of insults and comebacks. He's witty and a quick thinker so it's not hard for him to come back at you, though he's more gentle with you, he doesn't want to accidentally hurt your feelings. He loves to exchange flirtatious comments with you, knowing that he has the ability to make you blush, his favorite thing to do is mutter something in Japanese, loud enough for you to hear and watch as you beg him to tell you what it means. And the fact that you're easy to fluster, he'll 100% kabedon you whenever there's an opportunity. He lives to see the surprised look on your face.
He's not really big on pda too, handholding, cheek kissing, and putting an arm around your shoulder is as far as he'll go. He's much more intimate in private. Unfortunately, Yoru has trouble expressing himself, vocally, so be patient with him.
💝~Happy Valentines Day!~💝

goodnight n go | one | pjm.
Tumblr media
pairing. single dad! jimin x female teacher! reader
synopsis. jimin was a single dad of three and one unfortunate mishap caused him to meet you: his best friend’s coworker and daughter’s teacher. will feelings of petty loathing develop into something more?
genre/prompt. fluff, angst
word count. 4.3k
content. jimin is a pole dancer and has 3 kids as well as is 9 years older than oc. even if they’re both well over legal age, if that makes you uncomfortable, please consider not reading. thank you <3
writer’s note. I deleted it originally because I was unhappy with it as I wrote it when I was younger and didn’t have much experience in writing and my approach to it wasn’t as elaborate as the one I managed to develop all these months of practicing. so! here she is! she’s longer and has less parts so you won’t be annoyed with the constant changing haha. an important thing to note is that the oldest son’s name Songyoon was changed to Haneul, the little girl’s name Sooyeon was changed to Eunbyul, and the youngest’s name Sanghoon was changed to Hayun as their names were too similar and made it difficult to remember who was who. There was also many major plot changes as well as small ones, so it’s somewhat completely different to the earlier version. Anyways! Enjoy :)
parts. one / two
Tumblr media
The window curtains glittered under the moonlight’s loving, motherly kiss, this gentle caress closely similar to the unnaturally blond man’s embrace of a little girl–his precious little girl– in his arms. She was quite positively almost a copy of himself, down to his natural jet-black hair and plump, pink lips. The expensive curtains—most notably one of the most expensive things in the vicinity as what his little one wants his little one gets— danced with the wind let in by the open window softly, bringing the loud car horns and yelling of bustling city life with it. They’d been rendered to a simple ambient hum, considering how high up in the building they lived, however. The glitter scattered all throughout its length caused it to look like various constellations spread gracefully, causing his little one to refuse any other option that wasn’t it, unfortunately for his bank account. The neon lights of signs outside their New York City apartment, which would otherwise be annoying, entered only carefully tonight, as if to not disturb the gentle moment between the father and daughter.
“And so, the little princess was elated! The dragon had taken her to his cave filled with shiny little things all around, away from the princess life she hated.”
The raven-haired girl’s little eyes had shined in anticipation; the blonde man often mused it seemed like the night sky was trapped in her gaze since her birth, hence her name. She practically shook from excitement, her little brain unable wrap itself around how the princess pulled it all off so effortlessly! She didn’t know what to do with herself, so she clung to her dad’s silk night shirt as tight as her little fists would let her (which kind of hurt but he wasn’t going to stop her, he loved her too much to repress her). She liked to think of herself as close to that of a big, scary typhoon. He begged to differ with the more accurate description of the whirlpool one makes when circling their fingers in water repeatedly.
“The dragon taught her all she came to know! He taught her to read and write. Taught her to do basic things and they lived happily for just a few months. Then, the guards in the palace found her and came to get her! Do you know what they assumed, my beautiful little star?” Jimin had started looking at her fondly, the term of endearment coming out in their native tongue of Korean, accent prominently and endearingly laced in his English, soothing into every word he spoke. The nickname made her chest fill with warmth and her cheeks puff in reluctant happiness. No matter how many times her dear daddy would say it, it was her very own little term of endearment. Just for her and no one else. She loved it.
“That he was a big scary mean dragon! Right, daddy?!”
Jimin beamed at her intelligence. Then again, he does read her this story whenever she asks—and that’s nearly every weekend. He tickled her and held her tightly in his arms, her soft giggles reaching his ears just as the melodies he would dance to as a young boy would. Although he could still fit her in his arms, she was getting big. Give it two more years and he couldn’t do this anymore with her, hold her without difficulty and discomfort. The thought of such a cruel future made his heart sink a little. He had to stop himself often from thinking about how she would act when she became a teenager, it would be too much for his fragile heart to handle.
Jimin had always chastised her, as he was the only parent she had left. He took care of her and taught her valuable life lessons, sang her to sleep, and learned to make pretty hairstyles “just like a princess”, she’d say. He corrected her when needed as well as took on the role of both mother and father to her younger brother, Hayun (she preferred to call him Sunny after Jimin told her the meaning in English, which always made his heart melt), which was only a month old when their mother decided to pack her bags. Her older brother, although still a junior in high school, helped as much as he could to alleviate the toll that taking on both roles took on Jimin.
He was a great father, as one wouldn’t really expect. He was the right mixture of incredibly compassionate, well-humored, and empathetic with a dash of sternness to go along with it. He wasn’t a tyrant ruler, he listened to all three–well two, Hayun hasn’t even been able to string together a coherent longer-than-3-words sentence, only simple sentences, as a toddler does– and implemented all change that was agreed on by the majority. He always tried to pay equal attention to all of them, although most of it went to her younger brother. She didn’t mind though, she enjoyed playing with her older brother, Haneul. Jimin always packed him lunch, even as he whined that he didn’t have to do that, but he always enjoyed when he did it. She knew, noticing he always left to school with a small smile on his lips after.
Jimin has to assume complete responsibility once their… “mother” … turned up one day and decided she wanted nothing to do with her kids anymore. After taking her routine every night visit to the bar, she found someone older. Wealthier. “Much more fun” and “like you used to be before they showed up” she also gracefully added. Not like it was his fault he’d grown up once his first child was born, unlike her. Always looking for convenient fun, never tied down to anything. Proposing to her would just be in vain since it’s not like she would’ve accepted marriage anyway. Even during high school, when she first had come to him announcing her pregnancy, he knew how little care she held for him. She always thought of him as harmless fun, a man on the side and he couldn’t say the same of himself.  The first child was purely an accident, the other two was him desperately trying to convince himself it could all work out and she could change. After their third, he knew how wrong he was. He held feelings for her at one point, although, with time, it all disappeared. He could only hold feelings of loathing towards her at that point. She thought of the kids as nuances. She got sick of it. Sick of him. Sick of having just one person to kiss. She couldn’t be tied down, but just because he knew that, it didn’t mean it hurt any less. She’d left once Hayun was born, but Eunbyul didn’t know why. She always thought she didn’t love them anymore after seeing her mom with a man that looked uglier than her daddy for sure, but she seemed happy. Her mom said something to her before she’d left, looked at her weird, and screamed at her dad some more, but she couldn’t remember what it was. Often, she’d ponder when her mommy was coming back. Well, not like she could, anyway. They did move across the globe after, from Busan to New York, with no way to contact them. She didn’t mind not having a mommy for now, though, it’s not like she was ever home before anyway. It was always comfortable with daddy.
“Daddy! Please continue the story! Why’d you stop?! Pleeeeeeease…!” She pouted and looked up at him with those puppy eyes children knew to use when they wanted something to make their parents cave in fast in response to his hesitance to continue the story, her fake tiara skewing just a little to the side. One day, he’ll buy her a new one. One with diamonds and various other gems. His features seemed to light up and playfully mirror her own, his nose scrunching up as well. She, of course, as a sensitive, princess-y 4-almost-5-year-old, did not know how to differentiate someone being mean between someone playing, so she smacked him on the shoulder as hard as she could in her blind anger. Jimin yelped at the contact and sobered up, expression turning stern. Had she messed up? Did she do something wrong? Daddy’s face did the same face he always did when he was mad at her for doing something wrong. Eyes sharp. Lips in a straight line. Eyebrows drawn together.
“Eunbyul, you can’t hit anyone ever, you hear me? Especially me...” His voice was stern, but less confident as he trailed off. One look in her eyes and one could easily tell she was on the verge of tears. Why had the atmosphere changed so much? Why did the breeze still? Why was it so hot all of a sudden, but just on her face? Her tears were almost spilling out of her doe eyes, so his expression softened and panic flashed through his face. He had too soft a spot for her.
“...Not without expecting payback!” He announced out as a save and initiated a tickle attack by removing his arms supporting her back and wiggling them on her sides, causing a sea of reluctant giggles and laughter to erupt from her lips, tears of sadness now turned into ones of happiness. A wave of relief passed through her consciousness. He wasn’t mad at her anymore!
After he stopped tickling and her giggles piped down, he took her in his arms again and minimally rocked her back and forth again, attempting to continue the story. She gazed into his eyes. There, were two crescent moons filled with stars picked carefully right from the universe. They held warm nights of him wrapped in a blanket and always holding her in his arms while rocking her back and forth, looking back at her like she was his most valuable treasure. Nights of drinking lukewarm chocolate and sharing it with her while telling her countless stories he remembered or made up, her brother’s occasional snorting making her giggle. Those crescent pools of love staring right back at her with so much fondness, she couldn’t not trust him. He loved what he created with every inch of his being, even if she resembled her mother somewhat. She never felt so safe in any other person’s hold, even in Haneul’s. She felt safe and happy, sure, but not to the extent of her dad’s.
Pouting and closing his eyes as well as lifting his head up high in mocked snub, he opened one of his closed eyes.
“Well, if you’re done being rude, I’d like to finish this story for this week.”
A beat of silence went by as she looked at him with slight shame and tucked her head against his armpit. He sighed, breathily chuckled and shook his head slightly.
“You were right, princess. They did think he was a big, mean, and scary dragon that took the pretty little princess as his own treasure! The princess came back from getting berries just before the guards decided to kill the dragon!”
A gasp. A smile.
“She explained what happened and the guards decided to keep to themselves that they had seen the princess. The dragon and the princess lived what, my little star?”
“Happily ever after, right, daddy?!” She looked at her dad excitedly, completely engrossed in the story despite it being probably the hundredth time he told it to her since her birth.
A pause.
“That’s right, my love. The end…”
Although little Eunbyul understood simple Korean, she could barely speak it. Jimin planned on teaching her a little more down the line. Now, she barely understood some of the words, any longer than two syllables being too dang hard for her little brain to grasp at this late hour, right before her bedtime, but she didn’t care at this time. Not when his soothing voice graced her ears with the background noise only that of the far away beep of cars, the rhythmic rumbling in his chest every time he’s uttered a word soothing her to sleep. As she laid there in his arms, fast asleep, little snores leaving her nose, all that was in his mind was how he could never bear losing her.
He felt absolutely heartbroken and stressed, raising three kids on his own was unbearably hard. He loved them so much he had to look for a job in this new country. A job that paid well but let him work while the kids were asleep so he could care for them while they were awake.
He also made friends with his co-workers and shift manager, so it wasn’t too bad re-adjusting. They barely hired new employees since they had a very high criteria, so he barely had to deal with new hires that made his job harder. His kids are growing up, though. He knew that.  He feared they would leave like their mother did almost two years ago, so he’d decided to enjoy them and raise them as well as he could while it lasted. He was scared they’d decide they were sick of him just like she did. Irrational since his kids shared a strong bond with him and each other, but valid.
Jimin got up, arms still wrapped around her, she was growing and he could no longer able to hold her like how he used to. He moved the covers to make place for her and gently laid her down, taking her plastic tiara off her head. Covering her and laying a gentle kiss on her forehead, tears dangerously threatened to spill. The moonlight hit his face, making his eyes’ shine intensify into thousand galaxies in his beautiful, soft chocolate eyes as he got up to turn off her mermaid lamp.
“Sleep tight my little universe,” he chokingly whispered as tears freely fell from his eyes.
An abrupt sound made way to his ears and he turned around, finding his sixteen-year-old son holding Sunghoon. Jimin vigorously wiped his tears and gave Haneul a weak and quivering smile. The boy moved to put down the toddler he was holding in his crib and turned on the mobile, then mouthed to his father if he was okay, used to him being bubbly and strong for them, though it certainly wasn’t the first time he’d seen him cry. He took the role of confidant, listening to his father whenever he let himself be anything less than closed. He always looked so small, like a little boy. It always scared him. This wasn’t his big and amazing role model of a dad, was it? The one he bragged about to all his friends and anyone who would listen? Would he become like that, too? Out of the three kids, he was the one who remembered his mother the clearest, having been fourteen. He despised her, to put it nicely. He was the one that got to see to the extent that that woman caused their father to feel anguish, he got to know what not being loved by his mother was like.
Nodding, he ushered his oldest son out the room, more unrestrained tears rolled down his tear-stained cheeks. No matter how vigorously he wiped at them, they’d come back anyway, so maybe he should give up on wiping his tears just as he’d given up on trying to make his relationship work. It didn’t help that Haneul was the spitting image of his mother, either. Haneul wanted to press on, to question him and help him, but he decided to leave it. Glancing at both of his younger siblings sleeping, he decided maybe some things were better left unsaid. He slowly made his way to the door and once he reached it, pat his dad in the back and continued to his room. As Jimin tried to control his upcoming violent sobs, he shut the door behind him.
He couldn’t do this alone anymore. It was too much. He needed someone there.
Tumblr media
The cool autumn wind blew against Jimin’s cheek as he shook his hair to clear his fringe from his eyes. He brought his dainty hands into his jacket pockets as he puffed out air. While his breath may not have been visible, it sure as hell felt like it could be.
It was cold as fuck, to put it simply. Having a car would be absolutely beautiful right now, but circumstances really don’t line up with his wishes on the regular. He always kept forgetting to look into which car he would like best and to go purchase it, but the subways facilitated his route home and to work somewhat. His life would improve tenfold once he remembers to buy a car. He was very forgetful since there’s only so much he can keep up with, his brain take up with his three kids and problems. He could do that in the three days he had left, he guesses. Maybe tomorrow if he sets a reminder, even, would he be able to get a car. Before he left, he had saved up money for a living space able to hold all 4 of them and a mode of transportation. He could get rid of his subway card and buy a car or something, anything but dealing with the surplus of rats and drunkards at the time he used it. His credit wasn’t bad either, which could probably lower his purchase a little. His oldest used the same transportation he did, but he just wanted to drive his kids to school in the mornings and drop them off. Even more so, Eunbyul was starting school in just a few days, so he couldn’t afford to just walk her to school as it was half an hour away from their apartment building or even use public transport. It just didn’t feel right to him. All those cute hairstyles he planned on doing on her would be ruined by the time they got there.
Jimin kept pacing along the sidewalk towards the apartment complex where his kids are expected to be sleeping. Expected. It was 1:05 A.M., after all. A father can only hope his children listened well to him. He could probably assume Haneul was studying or something and the other two were knocked out, children being unable to be awake for very long.
He sighed as he scratched his itching nose and gazed around the well-near-empty streets, save the occasional drunk or workers of the same hours as himself.
Work was everything but slow, as always. Obviously, as an exotic dancer, he should’ve expected that. He really thought he’d made it clear to the manager that he had to be home early to put his kids to bed and give Eunbyul her first out of five pep talks before she starts kindergarten for the first time ever in a week, but maybe he didn’t remember. He’ll put his money on that, Seokjin was always preoccupied with everything in the club and the additional two other locations. Being a considerate manager and good owner is hard work, after all. His forgetfulness caused Jimin to be overbooked and end his shift two hours later than he’d requested. At least he was getting paid very well for that, anyway, so he had next to no complaints.
Checking his phone, he saw 5 collective texts from his friends, Yoongi and Taehyung. These were two childhood best friends of his, every summer when he would visit his grandma in Seoul he would hang out with them. They were both neighbors from Daegu and would go to Seoul for the summer for the same reason Jimin did which caused his grandmother to meet them. A chance encounter leading to a life-long friendship. Taehyung, however, moved away to become an art major at NYU and Yoongi had followed behind, falling victim to Taehyung’s prettily warpped descriptions of the city. He was a kindergarten teacher and assumed the same role in the states and Taehyung became a critically acclaimed, wildly successful painter. Taehyung actually had children of his own in his time in New York and his twins were the same age as Eunbyul. He, however, was married to their mother, and happily too. For that, he always felt jealousy, despite not wanting to.
Tapping the notification to see all the texts displayed, he saw Yoongi whining about the fact that the first day of school is way too close for comfort and Taehyung’s smiley face reply to Jimin’s own “i’m going home now, if i don’t text you that i’m home within 20 minutes, use find my friends to go after me”. Nothing out of the ordinary. He lived in a crime-filled part of town. He was saving up to be able to buy either a nice enough house close to the school or an apartment of the same caliber in cash. Mortgages seemed messy to him, in all and he was frankly scared to do it.
Now, Yoongi’s whining is normal, but now it has increased tenfold as the news of him getting an assistant teacher was broken to him. Yoongi felt as though the school was insulting his ability to teach by putting another adult in the classroom (they’d assured that he needed an extra hand in the classroom as there were more kids than before in his class–he called bullshit though), but nonetheless, all Jimin could hope for is that he doesn’t “accidentally” show up to class with vodka in a water bottle again. Not after what happened last time.
Locking his phone and walking faster, his longing for the warmth of what he liked to call his “luxury” apartment shining through and suddenly beginning to be extremely prominent which resulted in a whine of I-have-to-walk-like-five-more-steps-to-get-inside-so-life-isn’t-fair escapes Jimin. He stared ahead, gaze landing on the once-silver gate. It was once beautiful, but since the new owners bought it, they paid no attention to outside view, or so he was told by the old lady next door, Janet. They knew everyone went there for the cheap prices anyway, she’d sigh. He really had to move into a house or something. He already had the money for a nice enough house or better apartment where all 4 of them could live happily though his job. Maybe he could look for a house only a few minutes away from the school. Mental note: look for house around school.
Quickly opening and speed walking to the elevator, he checked his phone once again. More drunk texts from the absolute best friend that he loves so very much in this very moment, Yoongi. He really did take his devastation seriously, as he shared a selfie with him and vodka with a text after saying “my news befrenddf!!!!!!!!”. Jimin let out a huff of amusement and disbelief. The man was almost in his late 30s and he still acted like he could be the age of his students.
The unlocking to the apartment was bittersweet. Suppressed memories always seemed to float into his conscious one by one when coming through the door, when silence and darkness met him. That house of cards-like mirage he’d fabricated all on his own tormented him because how could he be so stupid and naïve to believe two children would fix their doomed relationship. He was never happy, not after she barely showed up at home after giving birth. Not after she’d come home often with the stench of alcohol, cigarettes, and sex on her. She was the one who could never be a parent. The one that selfishly left when offered money and riches. The one who didn’t even think twice about accepting the offer. The one that left him for a richer man despite their various kids. The one he’d had to lie to his daughter about when asked of. The one that never thinks of her own kids and has started a new life with brand new kids and husband. The one that’s too late to fix things. The one he and his teenage son loathe with every fiber of their being.
He really had to move away to a nicer place. Sighing, he dragged his boot cladded feet along the living room towards his room to begin his night routine. His two jobs relied on his face and his body, so taking care of both was extremely important, mental stability somewhat important too. He kicked off his shoes and snaked out of his clothes, took his pj’s, and padded towards the bathroom. The most relaxing parts of the day for him were most simply when he saw his kids in the morning and taking a shower after being in a packed and hot night club, full of dried sweat which gave him a not-so-pleasant stench. Eunbyul just knew her daddy was a dancer; she didn’t need to know the explicit details. At least not until the age of thirteen, or maybe older (he hoped), when her very own older brother found out.
He scrubbed every inch of his body until his skin turned red because god, he could not stand the stench just rolling off him in waves. Now, he was fine. He was happy, scent of the bubblegum body wash Eunbyul insisted on buying filling his senses. He was finally home, and his daughter was turning a new chapter in her life. She was going to learn how to read and he would teach her the same things he’d taught her brother. How he loved that, the feeling of satisfaction reached after your child now knows something they didn’t before. He loves the way her eyes light up when she learns something. He loves it all, and he hopes it’ll last forever.
He remembered he should probably invest in a car and a house closer to the school, a 30-minute walk was no joke. He finally dragged his fatigued fingers to set the reminder.

MASTERLIST
I update this list everytime I watch and review a show.
Disclaimer: These reviews are subjective and only reflect my opinions. There are no drama on that list that I’ve turned off and all are worthy of a watch.
Recs welcome!
#1 Crash landing on you
(사랑의 불시착)
Grade: A++
Genre: Modern, Star-Crossed lovers
Episodes: 16
Happy Ending: Yes
Watched on: Netflix (FR)
Son Ye-jin (who plays Yoon Se-ri) and Hyun Bin (Ri Jeong-hyeok) have amazing chemistry and every episode plays out like the chapters of an excellent fanfiction. Classic romantic tropes, humour, angst, action, CLOY has it all. Moreover, if you’ve never watched a Kdrama in your life, CLOY is a great starting point—not only will it introduce you to Korean culture but also to popular tropes and codes of the genre.
#2 Rookie historian Goo Hae-ryung
(신입사관 구해령)
Grade: A++
Genre: Historical, Age gap
Episodes: 20
Happy Ending: Yes
Watched on: Netflix (FR)
Delightful from end to end, with lots of humour and an engaging story. The romance between Goo Hae-ryung and himbo-prince Dowon will make your heart go soft, especially if you’re into reverse gender dynamics (she’s older and kisses him first *le gasp*)
#3 Memories of the Alhambra
(알함브라 궁전의 추억)
Grade: B+
Genre: Modern; Sci-fi; Fantasy
Episodes: 16
Happy Ending: No
Watched on: Netflix (FR)
Intriguing premise, great cast and tons of special effects but the romance between Jin-woo (Hyun Bin) and Hee-joo (Park Shin-hye) won't go down in history. On top of that, the ending is a bit wishy-washy in that annoying “maybe there’s more to come” kind of way. Give us a clear cut ending, damnit!
#4 Good doctor
(굿 닥터)
Grade: B-
Genre: Modern, Medical drama
Episodes: 20
Happy Ending: Yes
Watched on: Netflix (FR)
Good heart but the writing is really clumsy at times and the hospital politics don’t make an awful lot of sense. On the bright side, Joo Won is great in the role of Park Si-on.
Note: I haven’t watched the American remake so can’t compare.
#5 My love from the star/ You from the stars
(별에서 온 그대)
Grade: A
Genre: Modern, Sci-fi, fantasy, Star-Crossed lovers
Episodes: 21
Happy Ending: Yes-ish
Watched on: Netflix (FR)
Jun Ji-hyun is absolutely stellar in the role of Cheon Seong-yi, a ditzy Hallyu* star whose career is going south while Kim Soo-hyun plays the emotionally closed-off alien to perfection. Lots of pinning, a dose of angst mixed with a pinch of wacky humor.
*Hallyu means “Korean wave” in Chinese and refers to the popularity and spreading of Korean pop-culture outside of Korea.
#6 Hwarang The Poet Warrior Youth
(화랑)
Grade: B
Genre: Historical, Coming of age, fake siblings who catch feels
Episodes: 20
Happy Ending: Yes
Watched on: Netflix (FR)
Cute boys and interesting lore rooted in true facts (the bone rank system and the real Hwarang, the “Flowering Knights” of the Silla kingdom) but the story drags. I guess I expected more bromance and frolicking and less angst. Lastly, the main girl starts off quirky and fun but they quickly transform her into a sobbing mess which becomes real annoying real fast.
#7 Love in the Moonlight / Moonlight Drawn by Clouds (구르미 그린 달빛)
Grade: A
Genre: Historical, Romance, Coming of age, Posing as the opposite sex
Episodes: 18
Happy Ending: Yes
Watched on: Netflix (FR)
A classic tale of a girl raised as a boy who ends up in a situation where she needs to do her best to not blow her cover while catching feels (As someone raised on Versailles no bara and Ribbon no Kishi, it remains one of my favourite tropes)
Sweet romance and good characters. The fact that Crown prince Lee Yeong doesn't turn emo when he starts developing feelings for Eunuch Ra-on before discovering she's a girl is the cherry on top of the cake.
#8 Something in the rain
(밥 잘 사주는 예쁜 누나)
Grade: C
Genre: Modern
Episodes: 16
Happy Ending: Yes, but it still doesn't make you happy
Watched on: Netflix (FR)
Wasted potential!
Great start but the characterization falls apart quickly and you end up wondering why the main characters keep sabotaging their lives. By the end, despite their reunion, you're left with the impression they've learned nothing and that their relationship is doomed to fall apart.
On top of it all, watching Jin-ah fight sexism in the workplace and gaining nothing is depressing af (I don’t need realism in my escapism, thank you very much).
Too bad because Son Ye-jin and Jung Hae-in look really good together and the acting is top-notch. My advice is to watch the first 8 episodes then make up your own ending in your head.
#9 Moon embracing the sun
(해를 품은 달)
Grade: B+
Genre: Historical,Star-Crossed lovers
Episodes: 22
Happy Ending: Yes
Watched on: Netflix (FR)
A traditional historical drama with all the tropes that go with the genre + a hint of esoterism.
If you love ill-fated relationships, tragic love triangle, evil queens, and amnesia, this is the show for you. Beware, the interrogation/torture scenes are rather brutal.
#10 My sassy girl
(엽기적인 그녀)
Grade: B-
Genre: Historical, Rom-Com
Episodes: 16
Happy Ending: Yes
Watched on: Netflix (FR)
Cute and lighthearted but easily forgettable. Still worth a watch thanks to Joo Won & Oh Yeon-seo's chemistry.
#11 Coffee Prince
(커피프린스 1호점)
Grade: A
Genre: Modern, Posing as the opposite sex
Episodes: 16
Happy Ending: Yes
Watched on: Netflix (FR)
Solid story, great cast but be ready for a lot of bickering.
Yoon Eun-hye is a precious bean who manages to sell the story of Eun-chan, a struggling androgynous working-class girl who mistakenly gets hired by a rich guy to play his boyfriend, then becomes his employee, then falls for him while not correcting his assumptions about her gender. Opposite her, Gong Yoo (from Train to Busan fame) is 🥰🥰🥰
Sidenote: Despite Han-kyul's struggle to accept his feelings for Eun-chan, homosexuality isn't treated as a joke or a shameful thing. The one time he goes seek “medical help”, the doctor is depicted as an old, clueless idiot. And honestly, the story would work too if Eun-chan was a guy.
#12 My girlfriend is a Gumiho/My girlfriend is a Nine-tailed fox
(내 여자친구는 구미호)
Grade: B+
Genre: Modern; Fantasy
Episodes: 16
Happy Ending: Yes
Watched on: Viki - Available on Netflix (FR) too
Campy and goofy. It does look a bit dated (it’s from 2010) and the story is a little predictable but Lee Seung-gi as Cha Dae-woong, an aspiring action film actor and Shin Min-ah as “Gu Mi-ho” the nine-tailed fox looking for a mate are super cute. The show is also a good introduction to Korean folklore.
#13 Goblin / Guardian: The Lonely and Great God / The Lonely and Great God – Goblin
(쓸쓸하고 찬란하神 – 도깨비)
Grade: A+
Genre:  Modern, Historical, Fantasy, bromance
Episodes: 16
Happy Ending: Yes-ish
Watched on: Viki
Unpopular opinion but since I’m not into older guys, I wasn’t invested in the romance between Bride and Goblin until late in the series. I loved everything else though. The show has such a unique tone and atmosphere. It goes from super serious to goofy in no time. The cinematography is gorgeous (especially the historical sets) and you'll cry your eyes out.
#14 Healer
(힐러)
Grade: A
Genre:  Modern
Episodes: 20
Happy Ending: Yes
If you're into toll broody guys and fearless smoll girls, you’ll love Healer. The story is great, the characters are great and the way Jung-hu (played by Ji Chang-wook) and Ji-an (Park Min-young) are horny for each other is peak drama! *chef kiss*
#15 Kangchi the beginning/Gu family book
(구가의 서)
Grade: B-
Genre: Historical, Fantasy
Episodes:
Happy Ending: No
Watched on: Netflix (FR)
Engaging coming of age story of a half-human half-gumiho looking for his place in this world. If it wasn't for the wishy-washy ending it could have been the perfect mix of action fantasy and romance.
Special mention for Dam Yeo-wool (played by Suzie Bae) who is a female character who's allowed to be a bit of everything at the same time (strong, kick-ass, funny, cute, romantic)
#16 Queen for seven days
(7일의 왕비)
Grade: A
Genre:  Historical, Romance, Villainous crush
Episodes: 20
Happy Ending: No
Watched on: Netflix (FR)
With that title don’t expect a HEA but there are plenty of sweet moments along the way to make you appreciate the journey.
Chae-kyung loves the Prince and the Prince loves Chae-kyung but the King wants to kill the Prince and Chae-kyung is loyal to the King but the King is a tyrant and everyone wants the Prince to take his throne. On top of that the King wants Chae-kyung. Big mess. Lots of feels.
The story is (very) loosely based on real-life Queen Dangyeong, which makes it even more poignant. I cried my eyes out at the end because I’m a big softy.
#17 Korean Odyssey
(화유기)
Grade: A-
Genre: Modern, Fantasy
Episodes: 20
Happy Ending: Kinda
Watched on: Netflix (FR)
The show (very loosely based on Journey to the West) has its faults including the wishy-washy ending and the fact that Jin Seon-mi/Sam-jang starts off as a doormat but I ended up liking the relationship developing between the assholish Monkey god and the naive human girl more than I expected.
The side characters are compelling, and the banter and bickering between the deities work really well. If you grew up with Dragon ball, you’ll have a blast trying to match-up the Japanese and Korean names of everyone without looking up Wikipedia.
Lastly, not something I imagined saying after seeing him in Gumiho and Gu family book but Lee Seung-gi as Son Oh-gong = BDE *fans herself* 🥵
#18 Strong Girl Bong-soon
(힘쎈여자 도봉순)
Grade: A-
Genre:  Modern, Super-Heroine
Episodes: 16
Happy Ending: Yes
Watched on: Netflix (FR)
Trigger warning: Graphic depiction of violence against women
A++ super-heroine story, bad side characters
First, every girl should aspire to find a Min-hyuk in their life. Someone who'll love them because of their strength, and support them unconditionally. Someone who won't ask them to change or pretend to be somebody else.
Second, western media should learn that a super-heroine can HAVE IT ALL—the superpowers AND the love AND the family.
My only complaint with the show (and that's why I gave A- instead of A++) is the inclusion of many cringy side characters/situations that spoiled my overall enjoyment (see the caricatural flamboyant gay co-worker, Bong-soon’s mom hitting her dad, the mobsters...)
#19 The K2
(더 케이투)
Grade: B-
Genre: Modern, Political
Episodes: 16
Happy Ending: Yes
Watched on: Netflix (FR)
The romance is bad and the political story far-fetched but Ji Chang-wook is 🔥🔥PEAK HOTTIE🔥🔥
Tumblr media
That being said, I didn’t completely dislike the political intrigue and it was interesting to see the good guy working for the villains (sort of).
#20 Weightlifting fairy Kim Bok-joo
(역도요정 김복주)
Grade: A+
Genre:  Modern, Coming of age
Episodes: 16
Happy Ending: Yes
Watched on: Netflix (FR)
Uplifting coming of age story and super sweet romance. Bok-joo (Lee Sung-kyung) & Joon-hyung (Nam Joo-hyuk) are precious children on top of being cutie-patooties. Bok-joo’s insecurities hit hard, especially if you’ve ever been outside the norm of beauty standards.
I liked how the show normalizes therapy and taking care of your mental health.
In one word…
SWAG!
#21 The scholar who walks the night
(밤을 걷는 선비)
Grade: B
Genre:  Historical, Fantasy, Vampire, posing as the opposite sex
Episodes: 20
Happy Ending: Yes
Watched on: Netflix (FR)
Guilty pleasure.
Don’t ask me about the details of the main storyline, I’ve already forgotten most of it. Sometimes all you need is a show where a hundred-something years old good vampire with a sad backstory and the main girl who is thirsty for the good vampire are fighting a sexy evil vampire.
PS: Did I mention the sexy evil vampire?
Tumblr media
#22 Romance is a bonus book
(로맨스는 별책부록)
Grade: A+
Genre: Modern, Friends to lovers
Episodes: 16
Happy Ending: Yes
Watched on: Netflix (FR)
Imagine reading a relaxing book under a cozy blanket while sipping hot cocoa. That’s how that series made me feel.
Everything is sweet and soft from the characters' fluffy jumpers to the soft palette of color used for the sets. People make books and love books. There’s a mystery but no unnecessary angst. If you need a break from everything, jump in that ship.
#23 Hotel Del Luna
(호텔 델루나)
Grade: A-
Genre: Modern
Episodes: 16
Happy Ending: Sorta
Watched on: Viki - Available on Netflix (FR) too
Interesting world-building and a good cast of side characters but the romance lacks a bit of oomph.
On the + side, the hotel sets are gorgeous and Man-wol's wardrobe is to kill for.
#24 Suspicious Partner
(수상한 파트너)
Grade: A-
Genre: Modern, Star-crossed lovers in an office
Episodes: 20
Happy Ending: Yes
Watched on: Netflix (FR)
Toll serious who hates criminal falls for smoll weirdo falsely accused of murder. A must watch for anyone in search of a quirky romance.
#25 Touch your heart
(진심이 닿다)
Grade: A
Genre: Modern
Episodes: 16
Happy Ending: Yes
Watched on: Viki
Tooth rotting sweetness. The series is just a pretext to watch two good looking people (Lee Dong-wook and Yoo In-na) being nice and awkward around each other. What do you need more? 0
Note: If you watched Goblin you can also pretend it's a spin-off series about the reincarnations of Grim Reaper and Sunny. 💡
#26 Because this is my first life
(이번 생은 처음이라)
Grade: A
Genre: Modern, Fake marriage
Episodes: 16
Happy Ending: Yes
Watched on: Netflix (FR)
The Fake Marriage AU you’re looking for, mixed with slices of modern, messy, complicated life.
The main storyline revolves around Ji-ho an assistant drama screenwriter who struggles to find her place within the patriarchal structure of Korean society, and Se-hee, a socially incompetent computer designer who only cares for his cat and his mortgage. The way they end up in a fake marriage as well as the development of their relationship feels organic and doesn’t rely too heavily on comedy like it’s often the case with that trope.
The show also follows the stories of Ji-ho’s friends, Su-ji and Ho-rang who have different aspirations in life—Su-ji’s goal is to become CEO while Ho-rang only cares about becoming a housewife. I loved that the show makes a point to not pit women against each other and advocate living your life the way YOU want rather than trying to follow societal expectations of what love, work and marriage should look like.
Also they have the cutest cat.
#27 What's wrong with Secretary Kim?
(김비서가 왜 그럴까 )
Grade: A-
Genre: Modern
Episodes: 16
Happy Ending: Yes
Watched on: Viki
I wish Secretary Kim had more agency in certain situations but the romance develops well and the horny moments are caliente 🥵🔥
#28 Where your eyes linger
(너의 시선이 머무는 곳에)
Grade: A++
Genre: Modern, BL, Coming of age, Friends to lovers
Episodes: 8
Happy Ending: Yes
Watched on: Viki
Bite-size BL gem to devour in one sitting.
Stellar acting from the two leads and the balance between fluff and angst is just right. There's no graphic violence that sometimes plagues yaoi and BL and the story is believable. I got emo remembering my first love.
#29 Live up to your name
(명불허전)
Grade: A-
Genre: Modern, Historical, Time travel, Star-crossed lovers
Episodes: 16
Happy Ending: Yes
Watched on: Netflix (FR)
Trigger warning for graphic depiction of violence
Big surprise. I was looking for a cheesy comedy but it was actually a thoughtful story about humanism. I even teared up a little.
Trigger warning for needles. They do some pretty impressive procedures with those acupuncture needles.
#30 W - Two Worlds Apart
(더블유)
Grade: A
Genre: Modern
Episodes: 16
Happy Ending: Yes
Watched on: Netflix (FR)
Imaginary men > Real men, especially when they're played by Lee Jong-suk. Nuf’ said.
Imaginary men > Real men, especially when they're played by Lee Jong-suk.
The silly premise hides a solid story that keeps you on your toes and I was suprised by the rollercoaster of emotions I went through.
“Option 3″
“That’s 4 fingers”
#31 Life
(라이프)
Grade: C
Genre: Modern
Episodes: 16
Happy Ending: Kinda
Watched on: Netflix (FR)
Unless you want to learn how fucked up the private health sector is becoming in Korea, there's not much to gain watching this show.
The story starts off well though. The problem is that by the middle of the series the writers have dropped the main mystery (the circumstances surrounding the death of the director) to deliver an exposé on the political machinations of big corporations, and then shoehorn an explanation at the last minute (“it was all but a misunderstanding”). Very underwhelming.
The relationship between the two brothers played by Lee Dong-wook and Lee Kyu-hyung is the only bright spot.
#32 Pinocchio
(피노키오)
Grade: A-
Genre: Modern, Fake family members who catch feels
Episodes: 20
Happy Ending: Yes
Watched on: Netflix (FR)
On paper, the story sounds a little crazy but it all comes together nicely.
Lee Jong-suk and Park Shin-hye have great chemistry and deliver a stellar performance as “uncle” and “niece” (not related by blood) who can’t fight the romantic feelings they harbor for one another. The main storyline has enough twists to keep you entertained and surprised.
My only complaint is that it drags a little. 16 episodes would have been enough.
#33 My Holo Love
(나 홀로 그대)
Grade: A
Genre: Modern, Sci-fi
Episodes: 12
Happy Ending: Yes
Watched on: Netflix (FR)
Fake men > Real men
Imagine a Black Mirror episode about a love triangle between a woman suffering from face blindness, an emotionally supportive AI boyfriend and the disenchanted creator of said AI, minus the nihilism. *chef kiss*
#34 Legend of the blue sea
(푸른 바다의 전설)
Grade: B++
Genre: Modern, Fantasy, Fairy tale, Star-crossed lovers
Episodes: 20
Happy Ending: Yes
Watched on: Viki
Park Ji-eu (the writer) read the little mermaid and decided to give her a happy ending. Great chemistry between Lee Min-ho and Jun Ji-hyun but the spark is missing for me.
The antics of modern-day mermaid Shim Cheong are a little predictable and Joon-jae needs to be less of a control freak at times but the story remains enjoyable. I was pleasantly surprised to see Shim Cheong’s character grow, making the power imbalance between the clueless mermaid and the con-artist less pronounced by the end of the series.
The side characters are interesting but underused, and I wish Tae-oh was more developed. On the other hand, the Joseon area sets and costumes are absolutely gorgeous (Don’t tell anyone but Joseon!Lee Min-ho is hotter than Modern!Lee Min-ho 🥵)
#35 Tale of Arang / Arang and the Magistrate
(아랑사또전)
Grade: B
Genre: Historical, Fantasy,
Episodes: 20
Happy Ending: Yes
Watched on: Netflix (FR)
One word: Campy.
Interesting lore but the pacing is a little off—there’s a lot of back and forth between the characters and the locations and the love triangle doesn't add much.
#36 My ID is Gangnam Beauty / Gangnam Beauty
(내 아이디는 강남미인)
Grade: A+
Genre: Modern, Coming of age
Episodes: 16
Happy Ending: Yes
Watched on: Netflix (FR)
If you’ve ever been bullied for your looks, you’re gonna bawl your eyes out.
The show does a great job of calling out the unhealthy beauty standards imposed on Korean women but the topic is universal enough for the story to resonate with everyone. I love that you never see Mi-rae’s old face because it’s not our perception of her lack of beauty that matters but the fact she suffers greatly. Don’t you hate in western shows when they take a beautiful actress, give her a pair of glasses or a fat suit and call her ugly, making sure the audience feels shittier about themselves? Here, the writers concentrate on Mi-rae’s transformation and her coping with the consequences of her decision to do plastic surgery.
It’s also not a revenge fantasy where the ugly duckling suddenly becomes the most popular girl at school. Being a “Gangnam beauty” leads to a new form of suffering.
Romance-wise, it’s the slowest burn of slow burns because Mi-rae and Do Kyung-seok are the most socially awkward beans on the planet. I love them, Your Honor.
#37 Tale of Nokdu
(조선로코-녹두전)
Grade: A
Genre: Historical, Posing as the opposite sex
Episodes: 32 x 30mns
Happy Ending: Yes
Watched on: Viki - Now available on Netflix (FR)
Fun and lighthearted all the way through.
The story of a guy who puts on a dress to investigate a village of widows could have gone very wrong but it was well handled. It’s refreshing to see the classic trope of posing as the opposite sex reversed and Jang Dong-yoon is never cringy when he’s pretending to be Lady Kim Nok-soon.
#38 Bride of Habaek / Bride of the Water God
(하백의 신부 2017)
Grade: B
Genre: Modern, Fantasy
Episodes: 16
Happy Ending: Yes
Watched on: Netflix (FR)
Content warning: Crime against fashion
Promising premise and lore (I'm interested in reading the original comics now) but the writing fails to deliver an epic romance and a cathartic ending. Moreover, the sets lack imagination (or money?) and in the end I failed to ever feel immersed in a fantasy world.
The unfortunate consequence of the clumsy writing is that the male characters who are meant to be arrogant/confident Gods (Habaek and By-ryeom) sound like they're negging their love interests more than wooing them, and the relationship between Mu-ra and By-ryeom particularly irked me.
#39 Strangers from Hell / Hell is other people
(타인은 지옥이다)
Grade: A+
Genre: Modern, Psychological Thriller
Episodes: 10
Happy Ending: Spoiler
Watched on: Netflix (FR)
Content warning: Violence
What a departure from everything else in that list! Absolutely worth a watch if you enjoy thrillers and shows like Hannibal. If psychological horror isn’t your cup of tea though, you might give it a pass.
The storyline and the characters are a little cliché (it goes with the genre) but the cinematography and photography are fantastic. You can notice how the pension becomes more and more sinister throughout the series via the use of dark greens and browns and pale yellows, as opposed to the mundanity and coldness of the city (greys, and cold blues).
Last but not least, the acting is top-tiers. Im Siwan does a great job at portraying Jong-woo, an aspiring crime novelist who slowly loses his marbles but the true revelation for me is Lee Dong-wook. After seeing him so many times in roles where he plays awkward yet charming men who can barely express emotions, I was intrigued to see him take on the role of a serial killer, and holy cow, he's the perfect mix of sinister and alluring. Towards the end of the series, his character Moon-jo acts like a black-hole whenever he appears in a scene—a towering, dark presence who sucks the light out of the room (If he carries any of that darkness in the upcoming Tale of Gumiho, it’s gonna be *chef kiss*).
#40 Empress Ki
(기황후)
Grade: A
Genre: Historical, posing as the opposite sex
Episodes: 51
Happy Ending: From a certain point of view
Watched on: Netflix (FR)
Trigger warning for violence against women (not graphic but implied)
51 episodes.
Fifty.One.Episodes.
That's a lot of episodes considering the story starts with the ending.
Did I enjoy this show? Yes, very much so. Do I think it's for everyone? Nope.
You'll enjoy Empress Ki if you're into old-school historical sagas or you wished Game of thrones had no gratuitous nudity and violence. If you’re looking for an historically accurate biography of the real empress Ki though, then look away because Empress Ki is basically a lengthy fanfiction trying to justify how the Goryeo native Seung-nyang married the wimpy Emperor of the Yuan dynasty whilst trying to portray her as loyal to her motherland and to her first love, the Crown Prince of Goryeo.
Personally, I didn’t care for the love triangle formed by Seung-nyang (Ha Ji-won), Wang-yoo (Joo Jin-mo) and Toghon Temür (Ji Chang-wook) but I liked the politics and the backstabbing. Also, contrary to GoT, the bad guys get their comeuppance at the end so it makes watching the side characters die less painful.
#41 Meow, the secret boy / Welcome
(어서와)
Grade: B-
Genre: Modern, Modern fantasy
Episodes: 24 x 35mns
Happy Ending: I guess
Watched on: Viki
How do I put it? It's not *terribad* but it's not *good* either.
I was super on board with the concept—if Lee Seung-gi can bang a nine-tailed fox in My girlfriend is a gumiho, I have zero issues with Sol ah, our heroine, falling in love with Hong-jo the cat-person after being dumped for no reason by Jae-sun her boyfriend—but it didn’t exactly develop that way, and as soon as they explained why Jae-sun had broken up with Sol-ah, the writers lost me because I like when things happen for a reason.
#42 Clean with a passion for now
(일단 뜨겁게 청소하라!!)
Grade: A-
Genre: Modern, Rom-Com
Episodes: 16
Happy Ending: Yes
Watched on: Netflix (FR)
Super zany and tropey but that’s why it works so well. The only reason I’m giving it a minus is because it’s trying to be woke but in the end there’s still a lot of unsolicited grabbing and some iffy remarks/pick-up lines said by every male characters (IRL that’s the kind of story that ends up with a restraining order and a lawsuit for sexual harassment).
#43 Mystic pop-up bar
(쌍갑포차)
Grade: A
Genre: Modern, Fantasy
Episodes: 12
Happy Ending: Yes
Watched on: Netflix (FR)
Trigger warning: Heavy themes (miscarriage, pregnancy, loss of a child, death of loved ones)
You know how the meme goes... Sometimes a family is a hot-tempered bar owner, a cursed kid and an ex-Afterlife-Police officer with a secret past.
It took me a few episodes to get into it, but once the characters were established it became really enjoyable.
The tone of the series leans toward wacky but the core of the story is actually pretty dark if you look into it. Every grudge they solve for their “clients” gives a clue about Wol-joo’s personal story and by the last episode I was crying my eyes out.
Last but not least, Wol-joo’s collection of modernized hanboks is *chef kiss*
#44 My secret Terrius
(내 뒤에 테리우스)
Grade: A
Genre: Modern, Action, Comedy, Bromance
Episodes: 16
Happy Ending: Yes
Watched on: Netflix (FR)
An enjoyable action drama to watch with your family or your significant other.
Koreans prove that you can write a story about a black ops agent on the run who becomes a childminder without reeking of toxic masculinity. Contrary to American comedies where the manly-man-hero working undercover is incompetent and believes that working with children is a woman’s job and a waste of his manly-man talents until he has an epiphany of some sorts, Kim Bon (played by So Ji-sub) never once expresses discomfort to the idea of looking after two kids. In spite of his sober demeanor, he’s a caring and attentive person from the start and watching him gradually becoming a part of this spunky family while investigating a national security threat made my heart go awww.
Opposite him, fearless and resourceful mom Go Ae-rin (played Jung In-sun) brings a lot of energy, and the twins are absolutely adorable.
#45 Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo
(달의 연인 - 보보경심 려)
Grade: A--
Genre: Historical
Episodes: 16
Happy Ending: No
Watched on: Random streaming site
Don’t get attached—Moon Lovers is the missing link between Empress Ki and Boys over flowers, but with a sad ending.
I did binge watch the series but there are some frustrating aspects to it that prevented me from giving a perfect score, notably the fact that Wang So remains possessive and demanding with Hae Soo throughout the years—for instance “You’re my person” is a romantic statement until it evolves into “You can never leave me.”
The other problem of the series is that Lee Ji-eun (UI) does cute and goofy really well, but she doesn’t have the emotional range needed to portray a character who goes through many heartbreaks and betrayals. As a result, Hae Soo appears a little fickle in her infatuations with the princes.
That being said if you’re a sucker for tragic romance and you believe that power corrupts even the purest of love, you’ll have a blast.

UST in the woods (Dat first kiss 🥵🥵🥵)
The characters and the story are a little cliché but who doesn’t love a story where the protagonists are clearly attracted to each other but can’t act on their desires because their moral values are opposite?
*slams fist*
San Hyeok is your typical heartless businessman who refuses to confront his childhood trauma, and Yeong Jae is a surgeon who suffers from panic attacks and cares too much about other people. They’re both good looking and fate brings them to a remote village in the middle of the forest where they have to share a house. Really, I wonder what’s gonna happen?
#47 100 Days My Prince / Hundred days husband
(백일의 낭군님)
Grade: B+
Genre: Historical
Episodes: 16
Happy Ending: Yes

Trigger warning: Important character death.
Cute and charming but also very annoying at times. Obviously, the story is tropey af (fake marriage doubled with amnesia, you can’t really beat that) but it also includes elements I’ve never seen in any other dramas like the fact that the Crown Princess is pregnant with another man’s child (le gasp!). The things that annoy me the most were the unnecessary flip-flopping of the heroine towards the end of the show for the sake of creating artificial drama (just let them be together FFS!) and the fact that the male characters take a lot of decisions for Yeon Hong-shim.
Romance wise, Do Kyung-soo and Nam Ji-hyun are really cute together but in the end I found myself more interested in the political intrigue and the side characters than the main romance because slow burn has its limit. In essence, it’s the perfect drama to watch with your conservative family because whilst the main couple is living under the same roof and is technically married they don’t get frisky.
#48 I Am Not A Robot (로봇이 아니야)
Grade: A++
Genre: Modern
Episodes: 16
Happy Ending: Yes
Watched on: Netflix (FR)
Angsty with a good pay-off.
With a premise like that, things could have gone wrong really quickly but the writers managed to write a story that isn’t a man wanting to fuck a robot because real women are scary so big kudos for them. Seeing Min-kyu celebrating his Roomba’s birthday because he has no other friends will instantly melt your heart and from that point on you’ll cheer for his recovery. The show has the right amount of angst without becoming a mess and they handle the big reveal very well, making sure to show how hurt both Min-kyu and Ji-ah are by the situation, without making you doubt that they can find each other again. The other strong point of the show is that it’s not just about romance, it’s also about friendship and learning to let other people in your life.
The acting is incredible to the point that by the end I wondered if Yoo Seung-ho and Chae Soo-bin were making out in front of my salad or if I was still watching the characters Min-kyu and Ji-ah being lovey dovey.
#49 Sungkyunkwan Scandal (성균관 스캔들)
Grade: A
Genre: Historical, Posing as the opposite gender
Episodes: 20
Happy Ending: Yes
Watched on: Viki
Hana zakari no kimi tachi he with gats.
This show checks so many boxes when it comes to my favourite tropes story-wise and character-wise that I instantly fell in love with it. It might feel a little dated for a younger audience and it definitely suffers from the second male lead syndrome (who wants unseasoned boiled chicken when there are not just one but two juicy rotisserie chickens on the table next to you?!) but it’s still very much enjoyable. Also, they don’t shy away from using the word “homosexuality” and having one of the second lead confessing to having romantic feelings for his friend (I’ll take any scrap of bi-representation, okay?)
#50 It’s Okay to not be okay  (사이코지만 괜찮아)
Grade: A
Genre: Modern
Episodes: 16
Happy Ending: Yes
Watched on: Netflix (FR)
Found family.
In spite of one ridiculous plot twist (that I was aware of when I started the show) this show has made me feel all the feelz. The three main actors all did a phenomenal job portraying their characters in all their complexity and fragility and I ended up crying so many cathartic tears in the second to last & the last episodes. The relationship between Sang-tae and Gang-tae is one of the best sibling relationships I’ve seen on-screen in a long time while the romance between Moon-yeong and Gang-tae blends perfectly elements of comedy and melodrama. Mental illness isn’t treated as something to be ashamed of, whilst showing that you can grow and recover from trauma and finding your own happiness.
PSA from my boyfriend, who dropped the show before the end:
The plot twist is so stupid that it takes away from the rest of the series. In my opinion it negated the positive portrayal of mental illness built up until then. They completely lost me.
^ We discussed a lot about it which is why I wanted to share his POV to balance my own review.

Chapter 41
“Are you two like together now?” Namjoon eyed the two lovebirds with so much interest followed by whistles in the background by the rest of the members. The tease went on when Seul moved away and hid her pink face in Yoongi’s arm practically clinging onto her dear life.
“Obviously. For some reason, Seul is being extremely clingy around hyung” said Jungkook with his eyes fixed on his phone playing the usual online games.
Offended by the remarks, Seul finally let go Yoongi’s arm and glared at his way “I am not being clingy. The thought of dating Yoongi is too much for me to comprehend” she murmured lowly.
“Wait until you live under the same roof as him then you know, it is not easy to handle Yoongi” Jin stated in the matter of fact tone receiving a dissatisfied look from the pale man.  “Are you done exposing me to my girlfriend?” Yoongi snickered.
“Girlfriend” they responded in unison as though it was not enough to tease the two with mere look and the members were practically ganging up on them. With a proud smile spread across his face, Namjoon nodded in satisfaction “I am glad both of you are together and there is no bad blood between us. Not really all of us but the rest of you whom actually see Seul more than a friend” he stressed that part and glanced at Jungkook and Jin.
Jungkook and Jin exchanged a meaningful look as they heard their leader continued “We have known each other for as long as I can remember, this issue should have not jeopardized our friendship. And, I am proud of everyone for taking this matter maturely. Especially, you Gukk” Seul sent a grateful smile to his way, and he winked in response.
“I.. want what is best for Yoongi hyung, for Bangtan and for Seul-ie. I can handle this” “I am sorry” Seul mumbled before Jungkook could finish off his words.
“I don’t want the guilt consume my heart, but it can’t be helped sometimes. I am sorry, because of me you almost ruin everything that you build together” Jin and Jungkook shook their head, heaving a soft sigh.
Yoongi’s arm was automatically wrapped around her shoulder as a comfort “Baby, you don’t need to be sorry. It is not your fault” he gave the top of her head a soft peck. “We care for you and we love you dearly” Seul blinked his tears, allowing Yoongi to pull her small body into his embrace.
“Seul-ah, your existence in our life is the best gift that we ever had. Thank you for being our friend and to treat us not as a celebrity but just us” Jin professed earnestly. “It is a wonderful feeling, to be able to love you. We will cherish that deep in our heart” Jimin murmured watching the girl turned fifty shades of pink in Yoongi’s arms.
“Me too nuna. You will always be my first love” the maknae muttered shyly as Jimin nudged him with a teasing smile.
“I bet Jungkook has learned a lot from it” Jimin retorted.
Sitting quietly at the corner was Taehyung with a worried frown evident on his forehead “I am sorry for losing my shit that time and hurt your feelings. I can’t forget the foolish mistake that I commit, ugh stupid me” he puckered his lower lips in protest of his own demeanour.
“Taetae, I thought we have settled that stop blaming yourself. I understand why you did that so, let’s forget about those horrible fight okay?” her smile radiates the room.
“So, when can we meet ahjumma? I am dying to meet her!” Hoseok eyes glimmered with hope as others nodded in agreement. It is about time to meet their caretaker ahjumma considering the issues of her contract has been resolved. Therefore, it wouldn’t be a big problem for them to meet Seul’s mother.
She grinned widely “Oh, mother talked to me about that. She wishes to meet all of you soon probably after undergoing her kidney transplant” their face lit up in pure excitement upon hearing the news.
“Mrs Hwang finally get a donor, that’s cool! when is the date of her operation?”
“Next week and I will be taking few days off from work”
“But..we will be in Osaka next week” pressing his lips together, Yoongi hummed lowly. He really wanted to be by her side when the day come but knowing how it clashed with their Wings Tour in Osaka, Yoongi face harden at the thought.
Realizing his sour face, Seul slipped her arm around his waist admiring her boyfriend’s soft feature “I will be alright, focus on the tour okay?” at this point the rest of the soul inside the room were immune to the couple’s romantic gesture. As though watching them being touchy towards each other wasn’t enough to send chills down their spine.
“Maybe you can take the first flight after the concert end?” Jungkook suggested.
“No way, you guys need rest. Don’t think of flying anywhere after the concert” she frowned deeply despising the idea of leaving Macao without proper rest.
Yoongi seemed to be reconsidering the idea while glancing at the younger man with a grateful smile “That is not our first time. I like that idea Jungkook” Jungkook responded with a small salute.
“Baby you are not flying anywhere after the concert?!” Seul look bewildered as her eyes found its way to Jungkook, throwing daggers at his way.
“Baby~~” the guys chortled in unison once again causing the girl to squirm shyly. The eldest cringed not be able to handle more sweetness from them “As much as I like both of you I am so not used to see Yoongi and Seul together without fighting even for one minute” Yoongi swung his arm around Seul bringing the girl close to his body.
“She is using that mouth of hers for good things from now on” that remark earned a dissatisfied grunt from every member as they totally got what he meant by the good things. Rolling her eyes in annoyance, Seul chose to remain silent not going to get herself involved in the boys’ childish conversation.

Breaking: Underground rapper Stephanie took down her Instagram post with an open apology to BTS’s Suga and Army.
This week, the industry was shaken by Suga’s dating scandal that involved Stephanie, a Korean-Canadian underground rapper. The Instagram’s post by Stephanie which claimed that she’s one of BTS Suga many girlfriends earlier this week was already taken down by the rapper.
Stephanie then in her recent Instagram’s post posted an open apology acknowledging her mistake for causing the unnecessary misunderstanding and worries. She denied the rumours of knowing BTS Suga personally as they had never met in the past. The scandalous Instagram’s post was said to be directed to someone else which had nothing to do with Suga.
Bighit seemed to be taken the matter pertaining to their artiste seriously as Stephanie’s management is willing to give their full cooperation to solve the issues without problems. Netizens on the other hand are not convinced with the news and demanded an explanation from Suga in the near future. Fans are enraged of the netizens who send malicious comment towards BTS and claim that Suga has nothing to explain as he’s not at fault.
Bighit has finally put BTS’s Suga and Stephanie dating rumours to rest with an official statement by the label today. The label states “ The dating rumours about Suga and Stephanie are not true. They’ve never met each other in the past. None of BTS members own a personal social media account apart from the official one. We are looking into this matter seriously and a legal action will be taken to those who spread false rumour about BTS. Please continue to love and support BTS in the future. Thank you”
Sprawling on the couch was Yoongi looking solemn and stress though the official statement by his label had cleared his name from the malicious rumours, he was worried of how it would affect the group as whole in the future. Guess, he must see it with his own eyes this Saturday during their concert.
Namjoon took a seat across him noticing Yoongi low energy ever since the article was out to public “Are you okay hyung? I think Bang Pd’s team had outdone themselves this time” he exclaimed softly fixing the glasses at the bridge of his nose.
“I don’t know. I am worried of how it will affect the group. The scandal was dirty and unacceptable Joon. If it only involve a dating scandal then it should be fine however.. this one.. people will be doubting BTS’s integrity and attitude. I am sorry..that it comes to this” he said in his deep voice.
The leader disagreed “You didn’t ask for this. It is never your fault, you are not the cause of this rumour to spread wildly like this. We know everything was a lie and we are in this together. Nothing can change that. There is no just BTS Suga, it is Bangtan Sonyeondan as whole. So, hyung don’t blame yourself for something you didn’t do” Yoongi sat up, rubbing his back head out of anger.
“What if it makes Seul doubt me?” it comes out nowhere, but his insecurity is severe since start, which is complicated for him to handle.
Unamused, Namjoon raised his brows with a perplexed look “Hyung, do you even hear yourself? Seul loves you with all her heart, what makes you think she will question your sincerity?” the latter shook his head in dismay.
“Both of you really need to spend a day together as if like a legit date. Have you even been to one?” the younger man pried answers from the already distressed man. Yoongi shook his head while recollecting the memories of him and Seul “One time, the bungee jumping” with that statement it brought laughter inside the room.
“Ew, who brings a woman to a bungee jumping for a date. Seriously hyung, you could do better. I am not amused” Namjoon retorted sarcastically.
Yoongi rolled his eyes offended by the leader response “It is romantic, and you should really try it out before laugh to my face” regaining his posture was Namjoon as he had a good time making fun of his hyung choice of date.
“Did Seul enjoy the date?”
“Of course!” he answered without any hesitation.
“I doubt that, knowing Seul, I bet you got cussed so hard that day” he chuckled at the thought of Seul’s fierce side.
Grunting lowly, Yoongi shot the fellow rapper a hard look shutting the guy’s mouth completely “Bring her to stargaze. Just both of you, a simple picnic-“ “Who does picnic at night?” suspicious with the ideas, he fired back earning a displease protest from the latter.
“I never heard picnic being associated with any period of time. I think this date fits both of you. You don’t like being in crowded place and prefer a quiet area. Seul doesn’t fancy an extravaganza date, so that will be perfect” he continued to fish Yoongi’s intrest.
“Picnic also means I have to cook something for us to eat” Yoongi expressed his concern.
Namjoon scrunched his nose in disbelief, if that’s what on his mind all this time then this man really need to get a dating class from a professional. “Prepare a simple one like sandwich. I thought we had enough practice from the Run BTS show, can’t you apply one of the recipes that we learned from that show for the sake of your date with Seul” he facepalmed as soon as Yoongi tilted his head in confusion.
“You do realize you can’t bring your proud ramen to a date right? Gosh, go and ask for Jin hyung’s help then” Yoongi loathed the idea of getting a help from Jin.
“He used to like Seul, I don’t trust him. What if he is planning to ruin my date by sabotaging the food?”
Overdramatic Yoongi was difficult to handle indeed. “Ramen is so unromantic hyung. I am against that choice of food. And, no alcohol. Seul doesn’t drink. Get help from Jin hyung to prepare a simple Kimbap at least. Who needs fancy food when all you do is making out?” his sarcasm has soared to a higher level challenging Yoongi’s ego.
“Yah! That is not true. Don’t turn me into a pervert”
“Aren’t you one?” a faint voice interrupted their serious conversation.  Sweaty Jin sank beside the leader with a playful smile “So are you planning to take Seul out for a romantic date?” he inquired the obvious. “I can help you with the food. I know Seul’s favourite food” Yoongi glared in process while his mind insisted on accepting the older guy’s offer, but the jealousy stopped him from doing the right thing.
“Who is dating Seul here? You or Jin Hyung…” he teased the grumpy man.
“Shut it. What can you cook for Seul?” a wide grin spread across Jin’s face upon hearing the request from Yoongi’s mouth.
Jin chuckled “Grocery shopping in an hour” he threw the used towel at Yoongi as he arose from his seat to get changed. Unwilling to spend the day at the grocery some more with Kim Seokjin, Yoongi pushed his body up considering this thing involved Seul like he could bail on Jin.
 --------------------------
Third attempt.
Fourth attempt.
Fifth attempt but came to no avail. There was no answer from Seul, now he wondered the girl’s whereabout. To begin with, this was Namjoon’s idea to not notify the busy girl beforehand about this date. He insisted that the surprise should start before the actual date took place.
“Kim Namjoon, I am so done with you” he grunted under his breath. Yoongi took this matter into his hand and decided to pick Seul up by his own. He should have done it sooner instead of listening to Namjoon’s fairy-tale.
The journey to Seul’s neighbourhood took approximately twenty minutes by public transportation. It has been a long time since he last used public transportation to anywhere. Even though he sneaked out once in awhile when he needed a fresh air, he avoided crowded place at all cost. Therefore, public transportation was not an option since he preferred to walk appreciating his surroundings.
He climbed up the stairs praying hard in his head that Seul would be home. On top of that, this would be his first time to meet Seul’s family. The thought of meeting their caretaker lady after years numbed his mind.
“Breath Min Yoongi.. Breath” he smoothed his sweaty palm against his dark wash jeans. Pressing the red button, he could hear heavy footsteps beyond the door hollering “Give me a second” not long after the door was opened wide.
Yoongi was welcomed by Hoon confused face “Yoongi hyung? What are you doing here?” he blinked rapidly making sure he’s seeing the right thing.
Swallowing the heavy lumps in his throat, he emitted a soft cough “Hi, Hoon. Ah, I am looking for Seul, is she home? She didn’t pick up my calls” Hoon shot him an unknowing smile and nodded in response to his early question.
“Nuna is home but she’s sleeping though. Do you want me to wake her up?”
“No, it is okay. Can I wake her up instead? I mean not to sound weird but yeah… I can do it, if you allow me” he mumbled shyly, rubbing the back of his neck in process.
Hoon chuckled lightly watching how a renowned rapper like Min Yoongi turned into an adorable puppy at his doorstep “You are nuna’s boyfriend, why should I mind if you want to wake her up. Come in hyung” he provided a space for Yoongi to walk.
“You know?” he entered the apartment.
“It is obvious. Plus, nuna is a bad liar. How can we not know? I am happy for you and nuna, please love my nuna and don’t hurt her” he closed the door behind him and led Yoongi to Seul’s bedroom.
Yoongi softened as a warm smile found its way on his handsome face “I promise to love her and to cherish her. She is an amazing woman, I won’t hurt her” Hoon opened the door to Seul’s room and signalled him to get inside.
“I trust you hyung. Mom would be happy to meet you, I will go get her. For now, go and wake nuna. She is a light sleeper, but it is hard to get her out from bed, so good luck” chuckling softly, he left Yoongi with one last ‘Hwaiting’.
He scanned the room admiring its ambience, simple and minimalistic just matched his personal preference. Now he had seen another side of Seul, it was another way in deepening their relationship.
Smiling bashfully to himself, he tore his gaze to the sleeping figure on the bed. Seul looked ten times cuter than she already did when she was asleep. His heart melted at the sight. Yoongi sat carefully not to wake her lover up.
You look effortlessly beautiful even in your sleep. He mentally complimented the girl before him. Unconsciously, his hand reached out to stroke the strand of her hair from covering her eyes. She stirred a little in her sleep, squinting her eyes in process as Yoongi returned to admire her sleeping face.
“Mmm..Hoon..What time is it” Seul croaked.
“Time for you to get up baby” he whispered playfully.
“Baby what?” reluctantly, she rubbed her eyes in protest. Even in this state, she never failed to amuse Yoongi with her grumpy side. What a thing to witness. Her eyes rounded in sheer horror realizing Yoongi’s presence in her room. Sitting up almost immediately, her hoarse voice boomed across the cold room “What in the world? Why are you here?!” she hissed.
“To take you out for a date, so get up” he grabbed her hands, pulling the lazy to girl to her feet.
“Yah, Min Suga! Don’t invade my personal space, you are unbelievable. And what date? That is so sudden!” ignoring the words that flew like a freaking bullet, he dragged the girl to the bathroom. “What are you doing get out!!!” she squirmed under his strong grasp.
Yoongi rolled his eyes, collecting her hair and tied it neatly into a bun. Dazed by his weird action, Seul didn’t know what to expect next. She watched him grabbing her purple toothbrush, pressing the toothpaste on it. Giving her no time to digest, he shoved the toothbrush inside her mouth softly.
“Open your mouth, wide” Yoongi motioned the girl to follow his action. She stared at their reflection through the mirror in disbelief. Did Min Yoongi just brush her teeth as if she’s 2 years old girl? Goodness, what the hell was he trying to do?
“Stay still, I am trying to brush your teeth woman!”
“I can do it by my own” Seul slapped his hand softly, allowing her to hold the brush instead. To her distaste, the stubborn man turned her body to face him and swept her up, placing her carefully at the edge of the marble top.
His brow flinched, unamused by Seul’s persistence “I will do it so can you just listen to me?” he swatted her hand, finally in charged of brushing Ji Seul’s teeth again. Unromantic and weird. Tired of fighting, Seul rolled her eyes only to earn a light smack on her forehead.
“Don’t be a brat” he snickered.
She puckered her lips, upset with the childish treatment. Seul shot her boyfriend a ‘I hate you forever’ look. Of course, that didn’t stop Yoongi to pamper her like a little girl. Yoongi stood in between her legs, and leaned forward to take a glass of water for Seul to rinse her mouth.
As much as she hated being treated like an incapable person, she enjoyed this soft moment with Yoongi. Something that never happened to before, so it was rather amusing to experience it with a guy like Yoongi. He dabbed her mouth with clean cloth and hung it loosely around her neck afterwards.
“Go shower and change. I will wait for you outside. Or do you want me to shower you? I am up for that” he smirked playfully.
“Ew, no. Unless you stink”
“I am not!” Seul giggled cutely, throwing her arms around his neck. “You smell just like my Min Yoongi” she nuzzled his face allowing the man to pull her body close.
“Stop seducing me, I don’t have self-control” he whispered against her lips, moving it painfully slow just to tease her patience. Murmuring softly, she softened her lips over his warmth one “Then, get out before I change my mind” he let out a low groan.
“I will make you pay soon” pulling the playful girl into a breathless kiss, he set her down giving her space to breathe. The more he stayed in the same room as hers, the dangerous it would be.
 ----------------
“Heol, nuna you don’t expect to go out for a date in that outfit, right?” his jaw hung low as his eyes scanned her sister from head to toes. Seul cringed in displeased upon hearing Hoon’s remarks “What is wrong with my outfit? It is my favourite hoodie and jeans” she puffed her cheeks.
“You look perfect” Yoongi chuckled softly exchanging look with Mrs Hwang whilst Hoon crossed his arm in disagreement.
“You look ugly” he corrected.
“Yah Ji Hoon! It is just a date with Min Yoongi. It is not a big deal! Mom, please tell me I look good in this?” she shoved her hands inside the pocket and pouted in hope to receive a morale support from her dear mother.
Mrs Hwang chided “ To me your outfit matched Yoongi-ah. So, I think you look pretty. Hoon stop making fun of your sister” she warned. “Next time I will dress you up prettily, now go and enjoy your date” she gave Yoongi’s hand a soft pat.
“Take care of my daughter and don’t forget to be careful. You don’t want to get caught by fans” he pulled his usual gummy smile. “I will make sure to protect Seul, ahjumma. Urm, we’ll get going now then. It is nice meeting you. The rest of the members are excited to see you soon”
“I know. Come and meet me once I get better, I will let you know. Seul, be nice to Yoongi. Do not be a kid” Seul pursed her lips and walked up to her mother for a brief hug. “Yoongi is the kid here anyway. See you later”
The lovebirds exited the house hand in hand finally to their very first date which was not a typical date inside Suga’s Genius Lab. Something new and exciting.
------------------
Laying casually on the grass covered by a clean cloth beneath, they enjoyed the cold breeze and the shimmering stars above them. For once Namjoon’s idea worked today and Yoongi couldn’t be happier than this knowing he spend a quality time with the love of his life.
Yoongi had his hand encircled tightly around Seul’s waist, caressing it slowly enjoying the warmth that he gained from this proximity. Scooting closer to Yoongi, she grazed her fingers on his chest while continue stargazing.
“I wish to say like this forever” he broke the silence, followed by a satisfied sigh.
Seul propped her chin on his chest, gazing at Yoongi face lovingly. His lips curled into a charming smile as he pushed her up to match his level “Stop weakening my heart. You are hard to resist even now” his eyes bore into hers.
“I am not used to romantic Suga. Guess, I am going to live with that thought in my mind” she blushed, rubbing their nose together.
“Every moment that we spend together from now on, I will make sure it is something unforgettable. So you will love me even more” his sweet and alluring voice hummed, driving her heart to the edge of the cliff.
She stroked his jaws, trailing a kiss along his nose to the corner of his lips “I think I am falling for you deeper without trying. I am going to miss you, being this close to you” his lips broke into another charming smile.
“When you miss me, just look up. Because the moon is the same wherever you go” Yoongi slid his hand to her neck, caressing it softly. Melted into his deep gaze, she felt his face inched to hers and his breath fanned against her skin.
“I will find my way home because you are my home” nibbling on her lips, he hovered her lips, kissing her sweetly.
You are my home. She repeated in her head multiple time devouring herself into this sweet moment.  Even the short kisses that they shared could render them breathless. Live in the moment and paint it with beautiful memories, because it is worth it.

“4 blueberry muffins and 1 hot chocolate to go please.” I smiled at Sinthia. Her eyes crinkled as she grinned and started shuffling behind the counter.
“No chocolate chip cookies today?” She asked as she bent down behind the shelf.
“Nope, he’s not in a good mood today. Blueberry muffins are for turning the sour mood into sweet, they somehow always work.”
“I think we both know why they work sweetheart.” Sinthia said as she came up from behind the counter with a paper bag in her hand. I tilted my head to the side and looked at her with a puzzled face, silently asking her what she meant.
“Don’t you remember the first time you both met in this very cafe?”
I smiled as the fond memory replayed in my head.
“The usual Sinthia, thank you.” I smiled at the little woman behind the counter and moved to the side.
My phone vibrated in the back pocket of my jeans. Pulling it out I saw that it was my mom calling, my fingers immediately swiped across the screen.
“Mama!”
“Come stai mio caro? (How are you my darling?)
“Sto bene mama, come stai?" (I’m doing well mom, how are you?)
“Sono grande dolcezza, come vanno le lezioni? Com'è Y/f/n?” (I’m great my sweetness, how are classes? How’s y/f/n?)
“Le lezioni sono frenetiche mama.”(The classes are hectic mom) A sigh escaped past my lips, “Ma per fortuna ho Y/f/n per superare tutta la merda.” (But luckily I have Y/f/n to get through all the shit.)
“linguaggio!” (Language!) I chuckled as she laughed in return. I could imagine her shaking her head, eyes rolling at my behavior.
“I-”
“Excuse me sweetheart.” I whipped my head around to see Sinthia looking at me.
“Yes Sinthia?” I asked my mom to wait for a second and muted the call.
“That young man over there” She pointed to a man behind me. I turned around to see a man with blond hair sitting in the corner booth, his chin perched on his palm as he stared out at the street.
I turned back to look at Sinthia, “What about him?
“He has ordered a blueberry muffin too. But the problem is that I only have one of those sweet treats left and he looked really upset. Do you mind if I give it to him? I can pack your favorite chocolate scones instead.”
I smiled, “Of course, it’s no big deal.”
Sinthia grinned and patted my shoulder, “You really are a gem, tesoro.(Darling)”
“Y/n? la mia bambina? (My baby girl?)”
“Shit” I muttered as I realized my mom was still on hold.
“Mama, posso richiamarti prima o poi? (Mom, Can I call you back in sometime?)
“Certo baby” (Sure baby)
“Va bene, ciao mama, ti amo!” (Okay, bye mom, I love you!)
“Ti amo troppo cara!” (Love you too dear!)
Cutting the call, I saw Sinthia circling around the counter, probably going to give the stranger his order.
“Hey Sinthia, wait up!” She spun around to look at me.
“Do you mind if I give it to him?”
“Do you mind if I ask why?”
“Just wanted to see the man who was stealing my favorite food.” A sly smile took over my face and Sinthia giggled, handing the tray to me.
“He’s all yours.”
I looked down at the tray to see a cup of black coffee and the blueberry muffin I had been craving since yesterday. Shaking my head, I made my way to the corner booth.
“Hey, um, excuse me”
He turned around to look at me, “Yes?”
Suddenly, I couldn’t speak. He was gorgeous, absolutely breathtaking. His blond locks were messy on top of his head, mask pulled down to his chin, lips full and red. His eyes bore into mine as I stood there frozen, unable to do anything in front of the Greek-God like human. He also looked awfully familiar.
“Um?” His voice snapped me out my stance as I cleared my throat and let out a breath I’d been holding since the minute my eyes landed on his beautiful face.
“I, uh, I have your order.” I said, placing the tray on the table.
“Oh, thank you, I didn’t see any waitress when I had walked in?”
“Oh no, I’m not a waitress.”
Now I had begun to question my decision of serving him, why did I ask to do this again? This was probably the stupidest decision of my life.
“Oh okay?” He frowned as he looked up at me.
Without thinking, I quickly slid into the seat in front him and began talking.
“I’ve been coming to this cafe for almost 3 years now. I moved here when I got into Seoul National University. This has kind of been my safe place since then, not to mention Sinthia has been a mother like figure for me. She also helps me learn Korean and sometimes gives me yummy treats for free. Anyways, so today we were partnered up for a literature project and I was paired up with this cocky jock who’s so fucking full of myself. Then someone spilled their coffee on my favorite white top. It’s just been a shit day and I really wanted one of Sinthia’s blueberry muffins with the delicious dark roast she makes. But then it turns out you looked upset too so I let you have the last blueberry muffin.”
At the end of my mini rant, I squeezed my eyes shut, face turning red from embarrassment. I had literally just said random shit to a complete stranger who already looked like he wanted to be left alone.
“Here.” His voice made me snap open my eyes.
He was wiping his mouth with a tissue as he passed me the remaining half of the muffin.
“It looks like we both need something to lighten up.” He smiled and I swear I felt my heart skip a beat.
And then suddenly, it clicked.
“Holy shit” I mumbled.
“Is everything okay?”
I looked him dead in the eye, “You’re RM! Oh my god I just said complete nonsense to one of the biggest stars in the world.” I leaned back against the seat and mentally smacked myself for making a fool out of myself in front of one of  the world’s biggest idols.
“Cosa c'è che non va nella tua ragazza!” (What is wrong with you girl!) I muttered to myself.
“Ahh you recognized me, but for now I’m Namjoon.” He took out his hand for me to shake, a small smile still tugged on his lips.
I took a deep breath and calmed myself down and took his extended hand in mine.
“Hi Namjoon, I’m Y/n.”
“You’re Italian Y/n? I heard you speak on the phone earlier.”
“You heard me?” I squealed.
He laughed, “Yeah, it’s 1am in the morning and we’re the only ones here.”
“Wait, you know Italian?”
“A little bit, I could catch a few words you spoke.”
“Half Italian, half Spanish actually.”
“That’s interesting.”
“You bet.”
“Oh by the way, I have no clue why I just came and dumped all of my problems on you, I’m really sorry for that.” I sighed and inwardly cringed at my actions.
“Aigo, stop worrying. Tell me more about your literature project and this jock you’re paired up with.”
“Y/n! Earth to Y/n?” Sinthia waved her hands in front of my face. I jumped slightly and laughed, “Sorry, took a little trip down the memory lane.”
Her face beamed at my words as she passed me the bag of muffins and the cup of hot chocolate.I took out my wallet to pay but was stopped by little hands clutching my fingers.
“Don’t, it’s on me tonight.” Sinthia grinned.
“But I-”
“No buts Y/n, go make your superstar boyfriend’s day.”
“You spoil us too much I swear.”
****
“Noona!”
“Jungkookie!”
Our laughter died in the air as we embraced each other. I pulled back and ruffled his black hair as he gave me his famous bunny smile.
“How are you noona?”
“I’m great Kook, is he still in the studio?”
“Yeah, he’s working on some new tracks with Yoongi hyung.”
“And that of course means he must have not eaten for hours.” I sighed, his habits always worried me.
“You got that right.”
“Good thing I come bearing treats.” I said, raising the paper bag in my hand and shaking it with a cheeky smile on my face.
A big smile stretched across his face as he made grabby hands towards me.
“Gimme Gimme Gimme”
I giggled,”Take one Jungkookie, we have to save some for Yoongi and Namjoon hyung.” Jungkook happily retreated one muffin from the bag and released a content ‘hmm’ after taking the first bite.
“I’m gonna go and see him now Kookie.”
He nodded. “He’ll be happy to see you.”
“알아,준비 됐어 “ (I know, I’m prepared)
His eyes widened as his choked on the muffin. I laughed loudly and made my down the hall to the Rkive.
Knocking twice I heard Yoongi shout, “뭐?” (What?)
Without replying, I opened the door, revealing Namjoon and Yoongi hunched over the studio board. Namjoon’s eyes met mine and a big grin stretched across his face.
“Hi Y/n” Yoongi said smiling while getting up.
“Hey” I said and pulled him in for a side hug.
“What’s that?” He asked, looking at the paper bag in my hand. I opened it and tilted it towards him, “Have one”
He looked down and pushed his hand inside it, pulling out a muffin. A gummy smile appeared on his face as he turned around and pointed at Namjoon,”당신은 자신에게 맞는 여자를 얻었다” (You got yourself the right girl.)
Namjoon chuckled and flipped him off. Yoongi stuck his tongue out at him, gave me one last toothy grin and made his way out of the room, shutting the door behind him.
“Hey” He said as I walked towards him, placing the muffins on the side table. Swinging my leg across his thighs, I straddled him, my arms locking behind his shoulders. His hands take a hold of my waist, face nuzzling in my neck. His deep breath hits my skin, making a shiver run down my spine. I took my right hand and massaged his scalp earning a little whine from him. I giggled, the soft boy in my arms making my heart turn to mush.
“You’re too cute.” My soft voice broke the comfortable silence.
He looked up at me and snorted, “I’m sorry, have you looked at yourself in the mirror jagi? You’re literally the definition of cute.”
Now it was my turn to snort, my hands cupped his rosy cheeks as he leaned in my palm, “Stop being cheesy Joonie.”
“Can’t help it when it comes to you.” He placed a very soft kiss on my lips, letting it linger for a few seconds. My heart combusted at the action, senses fogging as I lost myself in the feeling of his soft lips on mine.
“I got you something to eat.” I said pulling away and getting up. Picking up the bag of muffins, I threw them in his lap and sprawled across the small couch.
He opened the bag and whistled,”You know me too well.”
He immediately started munching on the muffins, now looking much more relaxed under the dim lights of his studio.
“You can’t keep doing this you know.”
“Doing what?” His voice came out muffled as he chewed on the delicious muffin.
“Neglecting your health, overworking, stressing too damn much.”
“I don’t do it purposefully.” He grumbled, brows furrowing.
“I know baby.” I turn to my side and fold my arm, plopping my head on my palm.”But you have to take care of yourself Joon, your heath should be the priority.”
He wiped his hands against the back of his sweats and came towards me. In the next second, I was squeezed below Namjoon’s body.
I squealed, “What the fuck are you doing?! Namjoon!”
“Hmm” He mumbled as his arms circled around my figure and pulled me closer to him, if that was even possible.
“Get up Joonie.” I whined from under him.
“No” He grumbled, placing his head on my chest, his long legs draped over mine.
“We’re too big for this couch Namjoon.”
“Doesn’t matter, just wanna be close to you.”
My breath hitched in my throat as I repeated his words in my head. He was too good to me, I didn’t deserve an angel like him. I shifted underneath him and he whined in return.
“닥쳐 (shut up), I’m trying to get comfortable.”
He hummed.
I smiled to myself.

you knew that he was staging all of his misfortunes. there was something fishy about the way he claimed tragic statements without tears in his eyes, and you were going to stop at nothing to figure it out.
Prompt by: @inkigayeo - I apologize that this took so long. I had written out a whole entire piece related to this but it just got lost in it’s entirety. I hope this was at least somewhat relatable to the prompt. I felt as if me writing the staging of his misfortune would have been poorly done and too obvious. I tried to make his unfortunate scenarios natural and relatable. I’m not a very good writer and this is my first time putting out content with a prompt. In fact I am not a writer but I want to start. Thank you for this opportunity.
It was strange. She lost one man and gained two more. Her hope towards her secret pen pal was dwindling as the days progressed after their failed attempt to meet in person. The meeting that never happened between her and her “secret scribe” was heart crushing, but Hongjoong swooped in and she couldn’t have been happier. His roommate Seonghwa was an added bonus. Although his presence was a bit awkward at first, he became more open to being around her. One, because she was always at the apartment working with Hongjoong on their class project; and two, they worked at the same elementary school together (as part of their major).
The group dynamic was good but there was still something slightly off about Seonghwa being around more and more. A few instances made that clear. In one case, Hongjoong had a few of his other friends over for drinks and midnight snacking. Once the drinks started going, so did Hongjoong’s hands... and his thoughts in reference to her. Seonghwa’s body language started to become visibly uneasy and he couldn’t keep his eyes off of those two. When she excused herself from the group just to get away from Hongjoong, Seonghwa got up as well. She broke off to go to the bathroom for a bit and he went to busy himself in the kitchen. As she was making her way out of the hallway from the bathroom, she caught sight of Seonghwa in the kitchen and decided to kill some time with him there.
Completely unprompted, Seonghwa tells her, “You know you could be with a much better guy. I’m sure you have options.” After that, he leaves the kitchen and makes his way back to where the drinks and food are.
She was left completely dumbfounded.
Another case where Seonghwa perhaps put himself in an unfortunate position was when he walked into Honjoong’s room to check up on him to see if he was there. Seonghwa popped his head inside to see Hongjoong sitting at his desk with his back facing the door. His eyes also fell on her bare-naked back, lying down in his bed, with the comforter covering the lower half of her body. Slowly popping his head back out, all Seonghwa could do was lean up against the wall and think to himself, ‘...to touch such soft, smooth skin; to just embrace her fragile frame and give her warmth when she needs it most... I could have done that; I could have been the one for her. I could have been her first.’
One very telling moment for her was when she was at work. Before leaving the work site, she could be found helping the children pack up before going to meet their parents in the lobby at the front of the school. However, the students somehow became distracted in the middle of their packing to watch the snow fall from their classroom window. She and the Head Teacher allowed them some time to admire the snowfall before ushering them out of the classroom. Once that was done they both came back to do a bit of tidying up before leaving for the day.
As she and the Head Teacher were making their way to the lobby Seonghwa called out to her, just to chat and walk together. She bid the Head Teacher farewell for the day and stayed back with Seonghwa. “Did you see the snow?” Seonghwa asks.
“I did!” She enthusiastically responds. “The children were so fascinated and their fascination brought a bout of happiness within me. I like seeing their joy and intrigue.”
Seonghwa smiles as he hears her talk about her students. The student that ran away from her on her first day. Another that shakes like a leaf in their one-on-one session. The boy that always greets her first but pronounces her name wrong every time, so he gave her a Korean name instead. He always loved reading about it in the letters that she wrote to him. However, that has since stopped. In large part due to him.
“How was Mr. Class President today? Has he learned to pronounce your real name yet?” He asks with a laugh.
She cocks her head to the side questioning whether she has mentioned Mr. Class President to Seonghwa. She only ever remembers writing about him to her “secret scribe”. In this case, she just brushes it off and gives him a short answer with a smile. “No~ he hasn’t.”
“One day. He’ll get it. I’m sure.” Seonghwa says. “Are you stopping by today? I know Hongjoong would love to see you this evening.”
“I~ don’t know.”
“Oh, come on. The first snow of the season fell and you stopping by would be like... his winter dream.”
She cocks her head to the side again. She would always sign off her letters as ~Your Winter Dream. Perhaps she was reading too into these statements, but maybe she wasn’t. “No, I don’t want to disturb him. Hopefully tonight he is working on the audio and graphics for our presentation. So, I might stop by the apartment tomorrow. I have a lot to catch up on anyway. I’ll see you tomorrow Seonghwa.”
“See you tomorrow!” He waves goodbye as she does a brisk walk towards to the train station. All Seonghwa could think to himself was, ‘...did I let something slip; does she know it’s me?’
Once, she was out of Seonghwa’s line of sight all she could think was, ‘is Hongjoong my secret scribe? Is it Seonghwa? Do they talk about me and my letters? Was my first time with HIM or his roommate?’ To stop the thoughts from racing through her head, she just puts her hands over her face and drops her head into her lap.
She will get answers to those questions. She has to. Just how will she go about it?

Kingfield's Fourth Anniversary - Day 5
Dream, Memory, Reality.
David and Dwight each dream a wonderful dream. Later, they find themselves in a trial against a new killer, one who proves to be more cruel than anticipated. They don't survive her wretched performance.
[And hey, read the tags for warnings.]
AO3 Link
David lay curled up against Dwight. He was so warm and soft. The bed was comfortable, but perhaps only because Dwight was there to embrace him. Dwight placed a soft kiss in the crook of David's neck, a hum of approval following. He shifted under the blankets to be closer. This was nice. There was a feeling so unfamiliar, yet so lovely, that David hoped he would never forget it.
-
Dwight was walking next to David taking in the new sights and sounds. It was a beautiful day as they walked down the street. It was alive with hustle and bustle, but not crowded. Then, Dwight noticed that David grazed his hand against his. He apologized, blushing, but Dwight took the opportunity to seize his partner's hand. He gently raised it and placed a kiss on it. Looking straight into the other man's eyes, he confidently reassured David that had nothing to fear. They continued their walk, feeling much more content than before. This feeling was something to live for.
-
Then, David woke up. This dream another reason to pine for him in waking hours. He knew he wouldn't be forgetting it anytime soon now. He turned to face the other way, to face the still sleeping Dwight. He was cute, lightly snoring as drool dripped from the side of his mouth. He turned once more. It was only safe to indulge in his dreams. He didn't need any more reason to want to ruin their friendship. There was only one Dwight to be friends with, and David wasn't good at making friends.
-
Dwight awoke later, remembering that small part of a larger dream a moment later. He let out a suppressed sigh in dismay. In front of him lay David sprawled out on his back, chest rising and falling softly. His rose tattoo was clearly visible. Dwight felt the urge to want to kiss that tantalizing spot once more. It was so inviting, begging to be kissed and intimately adored. So close, yet so far away. No matter. It wasn’t the first time he fell for someone he had no chance with. Dwight stood awake, daydreaming something that would remain his dream.
-
Another. This dream, one of a familiar feeling. No, this was a distant memory. One caressed the other’s cheek, gazing into the other’s eyes with such adoration. They closed their eyes, and slowly leaned in, closing the distance between their faces until their lips met. It was a wonderful feeling.
And then, the memory dissolved.
Dwight was immediately hit with a blade to his shoulder. He screamed out in pain as he fell, the killer proceeding to carry him bridal style. That’s right, this was a trial, one with a new killer and survivor to learn about. This killer a beautiful songstress with an affinity for roses and toying with people with their memories.
A hook was nearby, so he didn’t bother to try and escape. He just mentally prepared himself for the pain that was to come. Of course, that didn’t do much good. She gave him a smile a kind of sadistic, mad smile wouldn't expect from a woman such as herself. But, looks can be deceiving. She turned from him and resumed her beauteous song.
On the bright side, the new astronaut among them seemed to be faring well, and Quinten’s experience against The Nightmare proved to translate well against The Songstress. Dwight just hoped David would fare well. As much as Dwight didn’t want to admit it, he didn’t think David had the kind of strength needed to face a killer like this. But he evidently didn't either.
It was then he noticed The Entity’s claws beginning to form. That wasn’t right. She didn’t show up so soon. Dwight began to panic. He could still hear her song well, so she was still nearby a rescue would be dangerous, especially given that the full extent of her powers were unknown. He tried to unhook himself, but failed, inciting more pain and spurning The Entity faster. He began to hyperventilate. He didn’t want to die again. He had heard of how hard David would take it, seen the aftermath of his demise. He didn’t want to feel that nothingness in him that stole away even sadness. And what if The Entity finally tired of him. He had been there so long. Surely he would be one of the first she would discard. And then he would never-
“Hey, I’ve got you luv.” David comforted as he began to unhook Dwight. Then, they heard a deafening crescendo that traveled throughout the entire mansion, stopping David in his tracks so he could cover his ears. Dwight covered his ears as well, the pain from the hook persisting.
Even more rushed, David hurried and unhooked Dwight. They traversed the maze of a mansion to put some distance between them and The Songstress. Panting, they came to rest in a finely furnished room, the song a now distant echo. She was a powerful foe indeed, but she certainly wasn’t gonna be sneaking up on anyone without memories to incapacitate them.
“Here, let me take care a you.” David offered, and began to patch Dwight’s shoulders with his med kit.
“Thanks David.” Dwight said, wincing at the ebbing pain.
"Welcome, mate. … Aaaaand there. All patched up, mate." David told him with a friendly slap to the back one they got up. Dwight smiled at him, and David smiled back, each wishing for something more.
"Right." Dwight said, clearing his throat after. They left the room in search of a generator. Only two remained.
"So, we know she uses our memories to slow us down, a knife, and The Entity generates a lot faster on hooks, but it resets each time. I think that's because of her song." Dwight theorized. "And then there was when she stunned us with her voice…"
"Well, I'd say we've faced worse." David said, and spotted a generator.
Dwight gave a short laugh. "Yeah, I'd say so too." A feral woman who seemed to have the blessings of Artemis, a nurse who showed up without warning like an apparition, a whole alien filled with determined bloodlust, a demon who used their blood against them. She was just another singing small fry.
They worked on the generator together in quiet focus. As her song grew closer, the duo hurried, and their hearts began to hasten. Then, another crescendo that forced them to cover their ears.
“Shite.”
“Fuck, come on hurry up…”
Almost complete! They were intent on finishing it, lest she reverse some of their progress. The generator hummed to autonomous life, and the two made a run for it. One gen left. They exited the room and saw her down the hall. They ran in the other direction, dropping a pallet along the way. They then split up when the hallways diverged. The song began to decrease in volume, and David assumed she decided to hunt Dwight. Yet, just down the hall, a minute or so later, he caught a glimpse of someone who was unmistakably Dwight limping round a corner.
“Dwight! Hold up mate, ’m coming’ to ya!” he shouted. If Dwight got hooked one more time, that was it for him. David couldn’t have that. He rounded the corner, but there was no Dwight in sight. No blood on the floor either.
“Right. Memories. Bloody memories…” That would take some getting used to. The memories of their life before seemed to be easier to break out of. But these memories from within the realm were much more devious and difficult to discern from reality. Made her more worthy of the title of Trickster than that Korean songster. David just hoped Dwight was alright.
Just as the last generator sounded, David heard a scream he wished he wasn’t familiar with. Defeated, he ran for the exit gate. He waited to hear the entity take him away, but the despicable sound did not come. When he noticed that, he felt a spark of hope. David ran into Quinten and had him open the exit gate while he went for Dwight and kept the killer busy. Time was of the essence. Third hook was a death sentence, but this killer seemed to have a way with hooks and The Entity.
He ran in the direction he saw Dwight’s aura. It was at a lower level, so he had to descend a set of stairs into the basement. It looked like a common basement, unbefitting of the sprawling, exorbitant mansion. But that didn't matter. All that mattered to David was getting Dwight and getting the hell out. He saw Dwight Entity's claws surrounding him, heard him shout his name, but it was too late. A thick claw pierced him, draining the life from his body before his eyes.
David screamed his name. He felt a sharp pain in his stomach, a sinking despair. Would this be the last time he ever saw Dwight? He then realized that pain just wasn't from what he saw or his emotions.
The Songstress had got him. He crumpled to the floor, and reality was revealed. The basement now looked like a decrepit version of the rest of the place. It was an open area unlike the typical basement, but had the four hooks and wardrobes in place of lockers, and a matching chest. But this place was dark, darker than he could recall basements being.
He wasn't sure what was real anymore. All he knew was that he was the last one. She picked him up and gazed at him lovingly.
"Oh, my love, you shouldn't have." she praised as she stroked the tattoo on his neck. David growled in response.
"Now, let us be together. Forever." she decreed, and kissed him. The Songstress showed him the form of a woman he dated, and caressed his face as she once did. She sensed no love as he fought back with every ounce of strength he had. Another woman, another response she didn't like. There was a desperate fear in his eyes. She quickly searched through his memories a little more deeply, and found what she was looking for.
She showed the image of a man from the memory of a dream, the same man she just so happened to sacrifice not too long ago. The sight made him gasp. She saw how vulnerable he became. First, he placed a kiss on his neck where the agreeable tattoo lay. That seemed to do the trick. He stopped resisting entirely, though for just a moment.
"Don't! Don't you focking do this to me!" he demanded. He didn’t want this.
"I love you though…" he pouted. Hearing that in his voice, David grew weak.
He pulled the dagger out from a pocket, and slowly moved from his lips from the tattoo unto David's lips. The dream memory began to make out with the struggling and conflicted man as he kept his eyes closed. The knife pierced through his clothes, and began to break through his skin When he finally opened them, he saw The Songstress, and she began to push the knife into his chest, into his heart. He struggled and screamed and cried in agony as she loved him with tender gestures, as she plunged the knife deeper into his heat ever so slowly. He was lying when he begged for her to stop. She knew he was. He always wanted her love.
The Songstress finally broke away from him, and gently laid him to rest on the floor once his flame of life was extinguished, and set a beautiful red rose on his bloodied chest. Such a beautiful memory. Such a beautiful dreamreality.
-
Dwight awoke in front of the campfire. Just him for now. He took a seat on a log, and did nothing. He heard someone else approach. They sat down next to him.
"Hey."
"Hey."
It was David. Dwight surmised he too didn't make it out alive. Either Quinten and the new guy Heintz would show up soon, or they were already out on another trial.
Dwight noticed that David rested his head on his shoulder, and let out a sigh. Neither man felt anything about the situation. They only stared at the fire. Just them two, for a long time before David spoke up.
"I think I saw The Entity take you." David stated. "Did I?"
"No. The third hook didn't take me right away, but it did eventually. You weren't there when it happened." Dwight blankly clarified.
"Hmph. Guess she did fool me then."
Dwight immediately picked up on the implication. He offered no comfort. He didn't feel any sorrow for the man after all.
Slowly, over the next few hours, Dwight began to feel himself return to normal. That often came with the feeling of the weight of the trial hitting him. He knew David was going through the same. He had since taken his head off the smaller man's shoulder.
"I take back what I said earlier. She's the worst." David declared with a seething hatred.
"She made me see my family. We had some happy memories together, and she used them against me." Dwight said, the hurt now catching up to him. "She used memories from here too. I hate her." he growled.
"She did the same with me. Makin' me see things from 'ere, that is. Saw some stuff from back home I missed. Also saw some junk from when I still played, and…" David stopped himself from saying what he just remembered.
"And what?" Dwight asked, concerned for his friend.
"Nothing."
"David…" Dwight pleaded, and placed a hand on his shoulder. He quickly smacked it off, a look on his face that Dwight could tell was hate and desperation.
"Just focking drop it!" he yelled.
"Well fine!" Dwight snapped, and got up to sit elsewhere, and grumbled "God, I don't know why I even try sometimes…"
That anger I'm David disappeared, replaced by a familiar, sinking despair. Death need not do them apart, just himself. David wallowed in guilt, unsure of what to say. He didn't want them to be like this, but he couldn't say what he wanted to. He was scared, more than any trial had ever made him. Well, there was one thing he knew to say.
"I'm sorry." he apologized. "I shouldn't 'ave done that."
Dwight sighed. "It's alright." He didn't want to be angry at David, but he was tired of the man pushing him away, tired of wanting someone who did that to him, tired of being a weak fool who could love.
"I don't think it is."
"… Yeah. It isn't." Dwight admitted bitterly.
"She used memories of you 'gainst me. Left a bad taste in my mouth. It's not your fault."
"She used you against me too." Dwight revealed. "A memory of you hurt, a happy memory of us celebrating a victory, a memory of you from a dream… What did she do to you?
He wondered what she could have done to make him react so. David was admittedly sensitive, his denial of it is what made it so difficult to deal with, but still.
"She- … I need you to promise me something." David requested.
"What?" Dwight asked. He scooted to the edge of his log, closer to David.
"Just promise me you aren't gonna hate me after this."
"I won't hate you. I promise."
"I- I think-" he began, choking up immediately. Then, an angry growl. "Why can't I say it!?" he cried out.
Words strung together make a sentence, a gestalt. A sentence of words is that from which meaning is derived. Yet, there wasn't any  amount of words, nor no sentence, from which the entirety of what David felt could be derived. It is a familiar sentiment.
The words got stuck in his throat. A deadly gestalt that cannot convey all that is felt, and never will, threatens to choke the life out of him. He wants to live, breathe. But to free those words is to face reality. Cruel, unkind, and wretched reality. Defend the self and seal the words. The sentence a fortress that festers in bliss, safe and sound from all but itself. Or leave thy gates open and draw the bridge. Welcome the truth of reality. It isn't always cruel, unkind, and wretched. But even if it is, it's better than any lie, any dream, for it is real. There, you matter. There, you exist.
Thus, David knows he must say something. It is not like there will ever be something that conveys it all. He decides that Dwight deserves to know how he feels about him. At least that way, he can maybe stop feeling what he feels for their leader. Let reality burn the bridge as it enters. Who knows, maybe that little bit of reality is all he needs to start betterment. Maybe. He hopes for a dream to become reality all the same.
"I love you." With fear plastered on his face, he admitted this unto Dwight. Then he turned to face the dark city behind them outside the fire, and began to break down. "There I said it! He's the only one 've ever felt any love for! Are ya happy!? I said it! I'm gay! A poof! A homo! I love a man! I hope y'are god damn fockin' 'appy you bastard!" David sunk to the floor, tears flowing.
Dwight could only watch as this happened, a menagerie of his own emotions threatening to spill out as well. He thought he had come to terms with himself. Guess not. Then, an anger welled within him, a familiar one. A need to act overtook him. Once the other man seemed to be finished, he walked up beside him, and spoke.
Let reality be an unlonely place now.
"I love a man too, asshole! I- I don't give a shit if you want me to just stick with women! I fucking want to love this man! I'm bisexual! Queer! Fag! Call me whatever the fuck you want, I'm me! And don't you fucking forget it!"
David looked up to Dwight in awe as he too revealed himself. He was inspired, filled with what he could be partially describe as a revitalizing sense of comradery and elation. There was more of course, but words would never convey it all. But, these strung together sentences would have to do. For now, they were enough.
David wiped his tears, and got up. He threw an arm around Dwight who turned to see him grinning proudly.
"You hear that!? Don't you fockin' forget who he is, arsehole!"
Dwight wiped his own tears, and threw an arm around David as well. "Yeah! Don't fuckin' forget who we are!"
They shouted at that dark mirror which cast no real reflection for a long time. Laughing, crying, revelry. That and more.
-
"So, we a thing now?" David wondered, almost abashedly, as he and Dwight sat side by side on a log.
"Depends. I want us to be boyfriends. Do you?"
"Boyfriends… my boyfriend, Dwight." David said, testing the waters, inching his hand closer to Dwight's. "I do like the sound a that."
"I guess it's settled then." Dwight made the move and took David's hand in his. He brought it up, and placed a kiss on it. "We're boyfriends, and you're my boyfriend."
David blushed at the innocent act. He wasn't used to being on the receiving end of such gestures. But, he could very easily see himself getting used to it.
"Can we kiss? I want to kiss you." David said. He hoped he wasn't going too fast. He wanted to actually put some effort into this relationship. “I’ve wanted that for a long time now.”
"I did too. Close your eyes." Dwight requested, and David obliged.
The wait for their lips to touch seemed to be an eternity. But, the wait was worth it. It was gentle, and felt right, more right than anything had ever felt to David. He felt no dissonance in this act, only happiness. To Dwight it was all he ever wanted. Here was someone who knew who he truly was in his entirety, and still accepted him. More than accepted him. Loved him.
They kissed for a few more seconds, Dwight caressing David, savoring these feelings before parting. They looked into each other's eyes, and grinned such joyous smiles.
"I think I wanna do that again." David said, followed by a little laugh that made light burst in Dwight's chest.
"I think that could be arranged." Dwight affirmed. And arranged it was.
-
Later, the couple was sound asleep by the fire, Dwight curled around David, arms wrapped around him in embrace. For some reason, Dwight found himself awoken. Half asleep, he couldn't help but notice how enticing David's tattoo was, a prime spot to kissing.
"David?" Dwight called, hoping to not startle him.
"Mnnn… hmm? Wot is it luv?"
"Can I kiss your tattoo?" he asked.
"… You can." David agreed. He waited in anticipation. It was a soft kiss, one of true adore. David hummed approvingly. In each other's arms, they drifted back to sleep, a dreamless sleep.

Jeong Yunho.
A kind child from a loving family of four guardians. The son of Lloyd, Robin, Valeria, and Mei, Yunho spent his childhood learning how to make tea, gardens, and medicinal salves from plants, all while learning about the human body and the illnesses that plague it.
His smiling face is a treat for the people in town when he and his parents travel to gather supplies. His kind demeanor and the calm, earthy mixture of floral and fruit scents that cling to him often lead to him being inviting enough to all animals. He can befriend any animal effortlessly, something his mother Valeria often teases lightly about.
Surgeon Jeong Yunho
Having sought out the man that helped save his loved one, Yunho has dedicated himself to both Captain Hongjoong and the entire Utopia crew. He provides emotional and medical support to everyone in their time of need and his office is often an escape from the hardships that come with being out at sea, all with his serpentine friend Atlas usually wrapped around his neck.
Yunho may be one of the few men who are fully in touch with their…’other’ selves, and as such, he’s been looking into the true nature of their powers and where they come from. Perhaps the gentlemanly voice in his head can provide some answers…
-Mythology-
Geb, also known as Seb or Keb, is the Egyptian God of the Earth. He is the son of Shu and Tefnut, and his wife is sister Nut, the Goddess of the Sky. Geb and Nut bore four children; Osiris, Isis, Set (Or Seth), and Nephthys. (Though some myths will credit Geb with being the father to the god Horus, as well)
Though his name apparently translates to “weak one”, Geb is highly respected and often seen as one of Egypt’s mightiest gods. A protector and a guide, Geb has had many instances in his lore where he is often the support to an allied god through their own journey.
Despite being the God of the Earth, Geb also aided the deceased to the afterlife, and would provide them with food along to ease their long journey into the afterlife. Geb’s name is a powerful one, said to be spoken to heal the sick if their affliction was caused by a natural cause such as a cold or a poisonous sting from a scorpion.
Geb’s laugh is also powerful, said that the sound of his laugh alone can cause earthquakes. The god can have his moments (as most others do), where he will seemingly cause strife for his followers, just because it is within his power to do so. From droughts without warning, to being the reason there is a huge, near uninhabitable desert isolating Egypt from the ancient world, Geb was no stranger to flexing his power and causing hardships.
Despite this, he had his kinder moments, such as the fertile lands surrounding the Nile River. Just as he would cause a drought without warning, Geb would also bless followers with bountiful harvests, with a surplus to keep their livestock alive and healthy for day to day life.
In ancient depictions of the two, Geb and his wife, Nut are depicted with him lying below her as she stands above him in the shape of an arc, covering him, but never touching him. Geb is reclining, often with his knee pulled upwards, as a show to represent the intimacy between the earth and sky. His limbs are often metaphors for the valleys, mountains, or hills.
The most common depiction of Geb himself is that of a dark skinned man with a crown. Sometimes his skin is green. This is to represent the fertile soils of The Nile and growth of crops in the area. He is also often depicted with a goose on his head, as it is his sacred animal. He was also said to be able to transform into other birds, leading to the name “The Great Cackler” (which, given his earthquake laughs, watch out with that one-).
He is also associated with snakes, and less common depictions will have him as part man, part snake. In the Book of the Dead, Geb was credited with giving birth to the serpent Nehebkau.
-Power Applications/ Demon Transformation-
When Yunho unleashes his full power, his dark brunette hair will become mostly blonde. His eyes will go from their honey brown color, to an icy, nearly whitish blue color. A discolored triangle appears over his right eye and his smile is elongated, with earthy, root-like veins appearing around his lips and the edges of the triangular mark. He can see better out of his right eye, as his ‘Demon Self’ can see fully from it and assist during combat.
With the uniqueness of still being able to communicate with his ‘other’ self, Yunho is attuned to the Earth and uses his full body for combat. He mixes Hapkido learned from mother Mei and Capoirea learned from his father Robin with his plant powers to attack with every part of himself, using his powers for extra attacks, or to keep himself steady as he goes on the offensive.
Alongside his strong offensive capabilities, Yunho uses his powers for defense, raising thick trees and slabs of earth to block attacks or keep enemies at bay. He also can wrap vines around enemies to crush them, much like a constrictor would do to prey.
When not in combat, Yunho’s plants have a number of other applications, with the most notable being the ability to grow medicinal and essential plants on the ship for his salves and other medical needs. He can also grow a number of flora for his teas or for Yeosang’s food.
Plants also have a natural bioluminescence, and the kind doctor often uses his powers to  brighten the normally undetectable light to a degree where they can be used to illuminate his room without the need for lanterns. His plants also have a strong scent, and are used for aromatherapy, thus turning his quarters into a calm room for the crew to freely enter to destress at any time.
Ideally, Yunho fares the best with his powers in an area that is heavily wooded or has little to no man-made structures to keep the destruction levels low. If the area is too dry, on fire, or cold, he has difficulty summoning plants, as they will often be brittle or too weak for attacks, but he can use his more defensive stone-type fighting, or hand to hand to compensate for the potential loss.
-Character Song Breakdown-
All of the main boys have a song assigned to them in the AtT playlist to go alongside their origin chapters. Yunho’s character song is Voices In My Head by San Holo. I will go over some spoiler things, but if you made it this far, you may know this already.
Unlike some of the other boys’ breakdowns, Yunho’s is rather simple. The song was picked as a hint to the fact that Yunho is the first of the boys to interact with his ‘demon’ self in a manner that wasn’t self-destructive.
Impressed by his nature and lack of strong negativity within him, his demon self grants him full control of their powers and as a result of their mutual understanding, he’s actually stuck around instead of being ‘overcome’ by Yunho taking control. As a result, he is one of the only boys that has the ability to still hear the previous embodiment of his powers. Ever since he realized his transformation and relationship with his ‘demon’ self were different from the others, he’s been trying to dissect why exactly he was different from the others and provide aid to the other boys.
He can hear the voice in his head. Get it?
-I've got voices in my head
What to say when all is said?
I'm still try to understand
Sometimes words don't just make sense
-You've got voices in your head
What to say when all is said?
When you try to understand
But my words just don't make sense
-I say, "Don't make my heart ache
Don't make my heart ache now"
I say, "Don't make my heart ache
We'll find a way somehow"
-Character Blurb-
“Breathe.”
“I am, Yunho-”
“No. You’re not. Look at me.”
Yeosang held his head and shook as Yunho lifted his chin, frowning at the tears running down the smaller pirate’s face. He was headed to the galley when he found him crying, curled up on the floor, in the middle of a panic attack. He wiped his cheeks and picked him up, barely flinching as Yeosang clung to his form, biting his lip hard.
The walk to his room was quiet as Yeosang cried. Yunho set him down in his lap, thumbing away more of his tears before he looked him in the eyes.
“Tell me what happened.”
“I had a dream about her and...and…”
“Say no more. Come here.” He pulled Yeosang against his chest and hummed a low tune, rocking Yeosang as he shook. As he hummed, he raised a few plants to his bedside, the vines embracing the wood of his ceiling, drooping down to bathe the two in a gentle glow as the now-neon blooms let out a collection of scents that made Yeosang’s shoulders relax.
The gentle scent soothed him and after another half an hour he smiled and wiped his eyes, kissing the underside of Yunho’s jaw.
“Thanks, puppy.”
Yunho grinned and pulled him back against his chest, moving to lay down with Yeosang still by his side.
“No worries. I’ll protect you, okay? Rest easy, she can’t hurt you.”
Yunho wrapped his long limbs around the smaller pirate, nuzzling his soft hair as he exhaled gently, the earthy scent of the room relaxing both of them.

♡ 。• * this is an idol life ship for my goddess @rr0zu !! hope you enjoy your ship sami <3
____________
♡ 。• * your entertainment company
Tumblr media
♡ 。• * your pre-debut days
you’ve always loved singing and had an incredible talent for it but you were uncertain about pursuing it as more than a hobby and make a career out of it. but with your friends’ encouragement, you decided to give it a chance so you auditioned through sm global auditions and was accepted as a trainee.
when first moved to seoul and first joined sm, it was a similar situation as irene from red velvet when she was a trainee. with your visuals and talents, fellow trainees were intimidated by you but that didn’t last long because of your outgoing, charming, friendly, and kind personality.
you have an aptitude for languages so you can already speak basic-level korean which made it easier for you to socialize with fellow trainees.
before even auditioning, you posted one video of you singing ‘a whole new world’ on the internet and that video resurfaced and pretty much went viral for a few days.
you were a very popular trainee and you have had several pre-debut exposures; you appeared in some music videos of exo and nct.
sm originally had plans to debut you as a solo artist after just a year of training but plans changed and you debuted in a girl group a year later. so you trained for two years in total.
♡ 。• * your position(s), role(s), and what you’re known for
your positions are main vocalist, visual, center, and face of the group.
you’re the ‘mom’ of the group; you don’t really dote on the members but you are very level-headed, understanding, and reliable, and offer the best advice. you always know the right things to say and have natural leadership abilities.
you’re known for your amazing vocals and is often called one of the best vocalists in the industry. i mean, as expected from sm, right?
you’re also known as the ‘language master’ because of your ability to be able to speak multiple languages. you’re able to connect to a lot of fans around the world because of this. you’re also very eloquent which is why your members rely on you a lot in interviews, especially foreign ones.
another thing you’re known for is your athleticism. you shine a lot at isac (idol stars athletics championships) where you consistently impress other idols and fans alike as you win medals for your team every year.
♡ 。• * your group
there are five members in your group, including you.
all members of your group has had pre-debut exposures so even before officially debuting, you guys already had a decent amount of fanbase and a lot of people were anticipating and excited for you guys.
there is no official leader in your group. you guys all just help each other during the practice and other activities; each member takes the leadership role in different areas and situations.
your group members (in order of age) includes:
della ( ‘97-liner ) is the oldest and is from new york city. she is half-korean and half-japanese. she’s the main dancer, lead vocalist, and face of the group. she’s also another language master of the group. she also appeared in 1million’s dance videos a lot which is where fans started noticing her. if you’re the mom of the group then she’s the dad. you guys are fans’ favorite ‘mom and dad’ ship of the group. she was one of your first friends in seoul, joining the company around the same time and debuting together. you guys like to debate a lot which is both entertaining and informative. and you have so many playful banters.
suri ( ‘98-liner ) is from daegu, south korea. her positions are lead-rapper, and another visual of the group. she trained for the least amount of time, having trained only for eight months before debuting. she’s your same-age friend in the group. she is also the fake maknae, known for her natural aegyo and cute antics. suri was actually a child model and actress and she still models as a side profession apart from being an idol; she has walked on some runways. you and suri are the roommates.
yun ( ‘00 liner ) is korean and was born in seoul but she grew up in berlin, germany with her aunt’s family. she’s the main rapper and sub-vocalist of the group. she trained for the longest time in the group: four years. she’s actually the most introverted one of the group; she isn’t exactly shy but she doesn’t speak much unless spoken to or if she has something to say. but on the stage, she turns into a charisma-machine. she participated on highschool rapper.
mey ( ‘01 liner ) is from hong kong. she’s the lead dancer, sub-vocalist, sub-rapper, center, and maknae. she trained for around three years before debuting. she definitely fits the “maknae on top” description. she’s the mood-maker and happy virus of the group. she is extremely funny and known for her extra yet endearing antics. tiktok queen.
♡ 。• * your group’s concept
you guys generally have this mature, sensual, feminine, strong yet soft concept. there is also a lot of female empowerment and embracing femininity messages in your songs. the debut song is similar to starry night by mamamoo. a lot of songs by mamamoo are good representations of your group’s discography.
♡ 。• * your female best-friend
Tumblr media
irene from red velvet || queens. your friendship is the sweetest and is one of those fan-favorite friendships. your platonic ship name is samrene.
you guys are pretty similar in some ways so knetizens compared you two a lot but honestly there is no rivalry and only genuine sisterly bond between you guys.
you guys are from the same company so it’s even easier to meet up and hang out.
honestly your group is very close with red velvet. so you guys would often to go their dorm and sleep-over. you and irene would cook for the others and you would eat together while talking, sharing stories, and have the best time together.
other than irene, you’re also extremely close with joy.
♡ 。• * your male best-friend
Tumblr media
dean (soloist) || you and dean sang an ost together for a very popular k-drama and since then, you have become very close and often name each other best-friends. the song also became a hit and became the best ost award at kbs drama awards. that night, you also sang it live together at the event.
since then, you also feature sometimes on some of dean’s songs.
you guys have a very mature and pure friendship. you have a lot of deep, insightful, and eye-opening talks with each other. you often eat out a lot at more lowkey restaurants.
˚   .    ♡ your crush (mutual) ( i was going to go with someone from nct but idk why i couldn’t get the image of you and sehun out of my head throughout this whole ship so yea bby <3 might also be influenced by the fact that you told us a reading said your next partner would be an aries with broad shoulder lmao - you did right ? oml i went to your blog and scrolled a bit to check but i didn’t see any lmao. h e l p. but anyway this is a pretty solid ship i love it. )
Tumblr media
sehun from exo || you guys met when you were a trainee at which point he was already a pretty established idol. the first time you met was at the sm cafe. he was there with chanyeol and you were behind them, next in line to order.
it was kind of late at night and they weren’t a lot of people - only one other customer who’s an employee at the company. anyway they were taking their time choosing what to order and sehun was the first one who noticed you behind them and not wanting to make you wait longer, he let you order first. you were like oh no it’s okay but he and chanyeol insisted, saying they haven’t made up their mind on what to order yet.
but other than that, nothing much happened afterwards for that night and you never saw each other again until about six months later when you were chosen to appear in one of exo’s music videos.
then you guys started becoming closer afterwards and talked often. he was so supportive of your debut and your group as a whole. so many fancams of him and other sm artists dancing/singing/vibing along to your songs at award shows.
he’s pretty shy yet open and straightforward about his feelings for you but you guys are at a stage where you’re just giving more time to learn about each other.
it’s a slow-burn type of romance.
but honestly, everyone at sm can see you’re more than just friends and they’re all just waiting for one of you to make a move at this point.
˚   .    ♡ miscellaneous
a lot of your fancams go viral on social medias
your group wins best girl group at mama only after a year of debuting.
you’re named as an ideal type a lot by rookie artists.
you’re sponsored by burberry and you’re also the brand ambassador of the brand.
____________
thank you for requesting bby !! <3 have a beautiful day/night hehe

What hobbies or activities would your OW crew each try and pick up during corona quarantine?
Tracer
Lena is going to try and learn a second language. She took French in school, didn’t she? And didn’t she graduate school? Right! So this should be an absolute walk in the park. French it is. Her first choice was Arabic, as it was, in fact, the prospect of Amari drama that made her embrace the wisdom of being a polyglot in the first place, but Mercy’s gentle suggestion that she start with something a bit closer to home base made her try for French. Arabic could be her third language.
And it isn’t that Tracer is stupid, so much as she has the full confidence that she can try hard and find success. This has been true so many times in her life, that she was simply the one most dedicated to the outcome, and so she managed to wrench it from the hands of fate. She is quick, and clever, and capable! What’s FRENCH got that she can’t handle.
Lena, five minutes in: Oh, right, I hated school.
She tries, god love her, but it just doesn’t hold her attention. She’s trying so hard to write verb forms and study and study, but she doesn’t honestly care much to KNOW French. It reminds her of Amelie, for starters, and that always gives her a little bit of a pit in her stomach, and without Amelie, there seems very little reason to know it. Only one in the house who speaks it is Mercy, really.
So she takes account of the languages her team knows.
Hana...Korean, of course, and at least some Japanese, mostly for promotional reasons. Lena takes one look at the Japanese rules of politeness and deference and gently sets the language to the side. She thinks about Korean--Korea’s been so much help since the omnic crisis, and it’s a good thing to converse with your allies--but the daunting aspect of having to ask Hana, who seems not even to know herself whether she likes everyone in the house or not, overcomes her.
Fareeha, well, that’d be Arabic, and that’s it, so far as Lena knows, and Ang’s already warned her off of that one. Fareeha’s feeling a it pricky about the whole Arabic situation since her mother’s come back, anyhow, and all her workout music has turned to English, and Lena’s not certain why she seems to be blaming the entire Arab world for Ana, but then again, Lena doesn’t understand Fareeha in the best of times.
Winston, he’d of course help her, but a lot of his knowledge is tied up in Latin and Scholarly Greek, and she’s not sure why anyone would take all the effort when you couldn’t even properly go on holiday. He does know a fair amount of German, she figures, but if she’s going to do that, she may as well go to Ang, and besides all that, Winston dos so much for her. No need to throw in another thing.
Ana: No.
Jack: No, but a bit softer.
Angela seems the natural choice, as she knows so many languages, comparatively. Her father was a linguist of sorts, to hear Ang talk around the edge of it, and so German, French, Italian, Latin, Hebrew, at the least, all come to her quickly and easily. It’s English she likes the least, and she’s better at it than she gives herself credit for, near perfect but for a few stange tenses. It really only Ang who notices. But Angela is, well, Ang, and with all the troubles of the world, she’s lost her mind, a bit.
So there’s no real help to be had, and Lena buys a few Muzzy tapes in French and learns how to say “I am a young girl” and “I like apples” before deciding that her quarantine time is better spent ensuring that she can actually climb the drain to the roof, jump from the roof into the pool, and other extremely valuable information. No one was hiring her for the language department anyhow.
Winston
WInston is more used to solitude than the rest of them, and as far as he’s concerned, it’s not really loneliness if Tracer is with him. THough he feels bad for her, and how stir crazy she’s getting. It makes him sad to see her so bored and glum, though she is trying to make cheer of it.
And so Winston has a genius idea. Tracer LOVES gymnastics, and Winston loves a project. So the idea for the super bounce trampoline is born.
You cannot tell Winston this is a bad idea. You cannot tell Winston this is a bad idea, because, on some level, he already knows. He knows, but he sees Tracer doing her little cartwheels in the yard, running laps, trying to create little games for herself where she creates time trials around the house, trying to improve on each activity lap. At the time where she breaks three plates trying to see if she can beat her time for table service, it even starts to sound like a GOOD idea.
He’s fine making little picnic lunches together and watching TV and having her ‘help’ in the lab, but she is becoming despondent with the boredom of it all. It has been ten days.
And so, he looks at the metals he’s engineered for use in his prosthetic limbs. Couldn’t they also be used to create a spring that would double your strength and energy return of a normal spring? Than Lena could do all kinds of maneuvers on the trampoline, and besides, it’s always important to know the limits of engineering.
Angela tries to remind him hospitals  are full.
Dva
The first day of quarantine, Hana Song pops a soda in her pj shorts and says, “It’s a pandemic! Why do we have to improve ourselves? God, isn’t it enough to be alive?” She takes a deep sip. “I’ll do some charity streams, okay?”
As she’s walking away Tracer asks her if she’ll help paint the upstairs den. Tracer is making little physical projects for herself in varying levels of horror, sometimes while watching the Muzzy tapes to convince herself she hasn’t given up on the bilingual dream. Painting seems tame. Hana stops for a moment, then agrees.
She is the only reasonable person in this house.
Mercy
Angela is in a panic. The entire world seems to be crumbling at her feet, and though she is no epidemiologist, she knows that none of this is good. She wants to go. Pharah begs her to stay. She is afraid for Angela. To put her in some ICU where she could get the illness, where it could be, as such, that Fareeha would not be able to come to her. She understands Angela’s need to help, but also, she says, what if something happened to you? You are the only doctor with any real knowledge of Tracer. What would be come of her.
Angela only looks at her for a moment before her face darkens, and Fareeha shakes her head, ashamed. “I was using Tracer to excuse my own fears. I am selfish. You should go.”
And in that moment, Angela does not leave not because she is the only physician who can properly work with Tracer’s condition, but for the great love of Fareeha Amari, who for the first time since Angela has known her, is truly afraid.
The days pass with difficulty. She is writing guidelines and ideas to anyone she can, coordinating donations and writing out thank yous and pleas, sitting in the bay window of their bedroom as the sleeting snow and rain fall against the window one bleak afternoon. The sun and storm come in patches, she’s noticed, but the grey seems to speak to her most all.
Fareeha comes to her one day. She has a mug filled with hot chocolate and whipped cream and brandy and love. She gently places her hand on Angela’s knee.
“I hear you crying in the night,” she says, though she cannot look to Angela’s face, “You should go. You must go.”
She loves Fareeha so very much.
She goes.
Pharah
Which immediately drives the sort of disconnected and floating morass of ennui that is the Overwatch household into Von Trapp style whistle blowing order.
Pharah’s project, you see, is everyone else.
Fareeha is a lovely person in most respects, all of them would say in one way or another, but she has certain control issues, and these never become more pronounced than when her life seems, well, out of control.
No more laying about. There is a kitchen to be reorganized, there are drills to be done, when was the last time you lifted? There is a color coded schedule posted in the kitchen and we should all take note of the way Fareeha has scheduled our time. Tracer balks, of course, that she’s the leader as well, and Fareeha has a terrible habit of assuming that it’s her who’s the leader entire and complete, and you know what else--
Winston pulls them apart. Neither of them, he tries to say, are actually angry with each other. He shakes when he says it.
And so Pharah tries. God love her, she tries SO HARD. She improves herself, and tries to let others be. She reorganizes the entire kitchen. She labels every bulk container, She scrubs every floor in the house to a gleaming shine. Her clothes, and Angela’s all washed and organized by sshade and season.
One night Lena comes downstairs and sees her looking out the window, drinking a Labatt, rubbing at her wedding ring. Lena wouldn’t embarrass her by asking, but her eyes seem to beglistening, jsut a bit.
The next morning, all three of the rest of the OVerwatch team are lined up, at the bottom of the stairs, at 6 am sharp.
It’s true that Fareeha takes herself on three hour runs across the prairie in all weathers to give everyone some down time where they don’t have to be doing anything, but they broker a sort of peace wherein they spend a certain amount of time doing Fareeha Amari’s Twelve Point Improvement Plan every day, and time doing their own thing, and Fareeha seems genuinely cheered to be plotting out their workout and meal plans, their online seminars to listen to. She and Lena even watch a few Muzzy tapes together.
She even forgives Tracer when the first test of Winston’s trampoline finds Lena sailing through Pharah’s (Thankfully open) bedroom window.
Ana and Jack:
They spend all of quarantine watching 90 Day Fiancee and eating TV dinners.

A/N: Well….This took so much longer than it should have to be finished. I got a random burst of inspo, so I hope you like it. Thank you for giving the rest of the chapters so much love. ^^ (Any quotes in italics is being spoken in Korean)

Four years.
It had been four long years since the day Jimin stepped over the threshold of your small apartment and walked away.
You would have been lying to yourself if you said it was easy to let him walk away. Easy to not pack up your things and take the next flight to Korea. No, it wasn’t easy. It was one of the hardest things you have ever had to do, as you closed your door behind him and cried harder than you ever thought you had in your life.
Not much had changed between the two of you, other than the heightened sexual tension, and even worse, the longing to be in each other's arms once again. You still spoke over skype every day, and every once in a while you would join him and Taehyung for a round or two of video games. Before your job and your intense studies sucked you in like a black hole.
There was one thing that had changed since Jimin left, and that was within yourself. You were firm in your decision to change your major half way through your freshman year of university. Moving from a business major, to a linguist major had been fairly easy, since it was your first year and you were only working on your basics. Your counselor raised her eyebrows so far when you told her you were going to specialize in Korean that you thought her eyes were going to pop out of her head, as it was not an often occurrence for the language to be chosen. Most students chose French, or Spanish when entering this field. But, you had made your decision and you were sticking with it no matter who tried to detour you.
At first, learning the alphabet and how to pronounce the words had seemed daunting, but once you got into the flow of it it was like second nature. The letters and syllables forming the words roll off your tongue as if it was your native language. After receiving the highest marks of your class, you graduated Summa Cum Laude. Walking the stage to receive your diploma was the happiest you had been in those 4 years. As you looked over to where your parents said they were sitting, and met their gleeful, cheering faces, you felt your heart sink and your smile falter. Jimin wasn’t there. He should have been there. Cheering for you alongside your parents. You understood, however. Things were tight with his schedule, as the boys had come a long way since you started dating. He was very busy, and you knew that. It still did not stop your heart from longing for him to be there. You nodded to yourself, thinking the long haul was over, and now was the beginning of your lives together.

Your parents were thrilled, as were your closest friends. All of you were sitting around the table of your favorite restaurant, chowing down on some appetizers.
“Y/N.” You mom called your attention from the plate you were zoning out on. “When will you be leaving?”
“Ah. My flight takes off in a week. I figured that would be enough time to get everything I need in order.” You nodded.
“Have you found a place to live?” Your best friend chirps from beside you.
“No.” You sigh. “That has been the most difficult part, unfortunately.”
She pursed her lips and nodded, you looked up just in time to see the concern passing over your mom’s face before quickly disappearing. “I will make sure I secure a place before I leave, so you guys do not have to worry about that.”
“Okay!” Your best friend held a thumbs up before turning to continue the conversation going on with the rest of your friends.
“Just don’t let anyone take advantage of you while you are there.” Your father gruffed. “I still do not like that we have not met this Jimin, but you are moving across the globe to be with him.” He was almost pouting at this point.
“Dad, don’t worry about me.” You said as you grasped his hands in yours. His thumbs rubbing over the backs of your hands. “I will call you both every chance I get, and you can come visit me whenever you want. I will scold Jimin for you for not visiting last time he was in your area.” You smirked, a devilish gleam behind your eyes.
Your dad chuckled as he let go of your hands. “You were always a tough girl. You can’t blame me for worrying.”
You nodded as your plates heaped with food were placed in front of you, the rest of dinner going by filled with laughter and reminiscing on various memories throughout your life.
As you were all leaving the restaurant, you hugged your mother and your father tightly. Thanking them for everything, and promising to visit them as often as you could. You did the same to your friends, lingering a little longer when it came to your best friend. You cried as you hugged her, thanking her over and over for being in your life. She pulled apart from you, wiping your tears.
“This isn’t goodbye, silly. I will still text you everyday, and will come visit when I can. You best do the same for me! Okay?” You nodded and brought her back into your embrace. Only letting go once her Uber arrived and you were forced to leave each other.
“One last thing,” She yelled, one foot in the car. “You tell Park Jimin if he ever hurts you, it’s not hard to get a flight to Korea!”
You laughed, wiping more tears that fell from your eyes. “I will! I love you!”
“I love you too!” She said as she got into the car. Blowing you a kiss and waving through the open window.
Crazy girl….She’s going to get into so much trouble without me… You thought as you made your way to your own apartment.

-1 week later-
You slipped your cab fare into the driver’s hand as you tugged your backpack over your shoulders and made your way inside the airport. You don’t know how you did it, but you managed to secure a place to live and movers that would have all of your belongings in your apartment in time of your arrival. You had also been offered a job at a company almost as soon as you woke up the day after your graduation. Your salary was much, much higher than you had expected, as it was difficult to find linguists who would move to Korea. They would be paying you more than enough for your expenses, and you would have lots of play money left over. That did mean that you would have to be on call at all times since you were fluent in English, and would have to account for time differences.
Your parents bought you a first class ticket, among other things for your new apartment, as a graduation present. What you didn’t expect, was for them to buy you a pod of all things! You would have been perfectly comfortable in a regular seat, but now that you were here and saw everything that came with the pod seating, you happily accepted their gift.
The long flight went by without any issues. You mainly slept, but spent your time eating and watching movies where you were awake. You were surprised when the pilot called for all passengers to return to their seats and prepare for landing, as you did not think that much time had passed.
Thanking the flight attendants as you walked off the plane, you secure your backpack and took a deep breath, heading to baggage claim. Finding your bags was rather easy, as they were bright pastel blue and purple.
There was a line of taxis outside the airport, eagerly awaiting passengers needing a ride. You hopped into the nearest one and gave the driver your address. He said it wouldn’t be a long drive, as you bucked up and nodded at him with a smile.
As he drove you took in the sights of Seoul. It was much more beautiful than you had ever imagined. The bright blue sky, further illuminated by the sun beaming down on the tall skyscrapers, basking in its warmth.
“May I roll down the window?” You asked.
“Of course, my car is yours while you are here.” The driver responded.
As you rolled down your window the spring air whipped around your hair. You took in a deep breath and smiled. Letting go of all the stress and heartache the last 4 years had brought you. You were glad it was all over, but now the real stress of a new job begins. A thought you didn’t dwell on for long, as the excitement of being in a new city, and so close to Jimin was stronger. Much stronger.
The driver pulls up to your apartment and helps you get your bags out of the trunk.
“Thank you.” You said to him with a slight bow, he returned the gesture and told you to have a good day.
Typing in the code your landlord gave you, you opened your apartment door to all of your belongings neatly placed in their respective areas, according to what was written on their box. You sighed as you walked into your new home. A closet for your jacket on the left, and a rack for your shoes on the right. You took off your shoes and put on your slippers as you reached out and ran your fingers along the counter to your left, the kitchen sitting on the other side of that counter. To your right, your TV had been neatly mounted to the wall, built in bookshelves framing it on either side. Straight ahead down a small hallway and to the left was the door to your bathroom. A normal bathroom as any, but what made your heart swell was the his and hers sinks. You pictured yourself standing next to Jimin, brushing your teeth getting ready for your day. At night, sloppily trying to take off your clothes between heated kisses, trying to stumble over each other to get into the shower. Shaking your head and tapping your now heated cheeks you closed the door and stepped into what would be your bedroom. To your left stood a door that led into your bathroom. A little bit further to your left was the door to your closet, again it wasn’t anything too special. The flutters returned to your heart at the thought of Jimin’s clothes being nestled tightly next to yours. In the center of your room was your bed. Side tables and dresser being placed exactly where you would have put them if you had moved them yourself.
“Wow...they really didn’t have to go to this much trouble….” You whispered as your hand ran along your dresser, looking at your TV that had been mounted just like the one in your living room. You spoke a quiet thank you to whomever was listening that the kind movers did this, as you did not think you would have been able to do it yourself. To the right of your bed was a sliding door that led out to a small balcony. The view from your balcony almost took your breath away. Since your company was paying you much more than you had expected, you decided to splurge a little on an apartment almost smack dab in the center of Seoul, and if you looked to the left you had a nice view of the mountains outside of the bustling city.
You turned around and walked back into your apartment, throwing yourself on your bed letting the sleep that was nudging at the back of your mind since you walked into your apartment take hold, falling into a deep sleep without the weight of school, jobs, or the move slipping from your shoulders as you inhaled deeply.
When you woke up, the sun had already set. Stretching your limbs, groaning as your muscles tightened, and your bones cracked. You looked at your phone, eyes widening at the 20 text messages from Jimin, and the 5 missed calls on your skype. “What is with him?” You tisked. Soon realizing that you were not in your home town anymore, you were across the globe, where the time is different. Slapping yourself on your forehead, you quickly responded that you had just fallen asleep, and that you were in fact fine. Keeping your move a secret from Jimin had been one of the hardest things to keep from him. Making things up about your supposed major, threatening your friends and family within an inch of their lives not to say anything. You were happy that you would soon not have to keep your little plans a secret. You made a quick trip to the nearest market to grab some dinner and necessities for your home. Giggling to yourself as you picked up a blue cup and toothbrush, and a matching purple one to go alongside it.
After you ate, you began unpacking your living room. Putting your various books, video games, movies, and plushies on the shelves next to your TV. The kitchen was next, followed by your bathroom, and then your room. It did not take you long to unpack as the movers had done a lot of the work for you, and you brought as little as possible from your old home and sold or donated the rest. You smiled a wide smile as you brushed your teeth, looking at the cup and toothbrush that Jimin would soon be calling his own. Turning off the lights and giddily hopping into bed, you texted Jimin goodnight before putting down your phone and quickly falling asleep.
Tumblr media
“Goodnight? Why is she texting me goodnight?” Jimin asked as he showed his phone to Taehyung. Who just shrugged in response.
“I mean, it is 1:00 pm her time….” Jimin twitched his head to the side, staring at his phone.
“Who knows man, maybe she is just taking a nap and misspoke. Focus on the game now, will ya?” Taehyung tutted as he tossed a pillow at his best friend.
“I know. I know. I just miss her. Maybe I’m reading too much into it. Maybe I should go visit her.” He sulked.
“You know you can’t. Our schedules are just too tight right now.” Taehyung sighed. Jimin huffed, and nodded before putting his full attention back into the game they were currently playing. Jungkook screaming in his ear as they won, yet another, match.
Tumblr media
The only person, other than your friends and family, that you had let in on your plan was Taehyung. You needed someone to help you find various items, and of course an apartment to live in. You needed to thank him later for finding you such a good place. “It’s a 5 minute walk from the dorms, too.” You laughed as you heard the playfulness behind his voice. You could almost hear him wiggling his eyebrows through the receiver. “Ah, Tae! Stop it. Just remember, keep him busy and DO NOT say a word to him about this.” You nagged him.
“Yeah, yeah. My lips are sealed. Wouldn’t want to ruin this for our precious Jiminie, now would we. Bye bye now!” You heard the click of his phone directly after that, shaking your head and laughing before diving back into studying for your last exam.
Tumblr media
The next morning you woke up to hear the birds chirping from outside your window. Pulling yourself out of bed, you wrapped a robe around your frame and quickly made yourself a cup of coffee. You sat on your porch inhaling the scent deeply before drinking the warm liquid down. As you were about to jump in the shower, you texted Jimin and asked him for a favor. You had wanted him to pick up something you had ordered online, and send it to you. He asked a million questions a second, before agreeing once you had thoroughly calmed him down. You patted yourself on the back for quickly thinking up the fib. Telling him you found something you liked online, but did not feel comfortable giving the person your address, even if it was so far away. Jimin agreed with you, and said he would be at the address you gave him in an hour, and would text you when he picked it up.
You showered quickly, and wrapped a towel around yourself as you began blow drying your hair. When you were done, you applied a little bit of makeup. You pulled out the lingerie that you had bought specifically for this moment. A black bustier, that hugged your curves perfectly, ending at a pair of lace black boy shorts that you were sure would have Jimin’s eyes bugging out of his head. As a final touch you put on some thigh high stockings, that had cute blue bows at the top. Nodding in the mirror at your appearance, you moved to top it off with your favorite pair of jeans, and a t-shirt. Inconspicuous indeed Y/N….. You laughed to yourself as you checked the time on your phone. Jimin had texted you 10 minutes ago that he was on his way. He should be almost here then… You thought.
You anxiously paced your living room for what felt like hours, before those 3 magic knocks wrapped upon your door. Your heart lurched itself into your throat as you tripped over your own two feet trying to get to the door. With your hand on the door knob you took a deep breath, and put your hand over your heart willing it to stop beating so hard before turning and unlocking the door.
As you opened it, you were met with the top of a black baseball cap with blonde hair wildly poking out of the sides of it. The boy wearing thick rimmed glasses and a face mask staring down at his phone, oblivious to someone opening the door.
“Now, where are your manners, Park Jimin?” You asked in a sultry voice, grateful that it didn’t crack or show how absolutely thrilled you were to have him standing in front of you.
He visibly stiffened as he looked up from his phone, his mouth hanging wide open under his face mask. His eyes opened as wide as they probably ever have, staring at you as you stood there.
“Are you gonna come in, or not?” You said as you lifted your fingers to his chin and pushed his mouth closed. He simply nodded and followed you into your apartment. The second he got his shoes off, his brain seemed to have caught up with what was going on. He turned you around and crashed you into his chest. Wrapping his arms tightly around you, burying his face into your neck. Deeply inhaling the scent of everything that is you. You wrapped your arms around his waist, giggling at his reaction to you being here.
“How, when, why?! Why are you here?!” He asked, you were not sure if he was on the verge of tears, or excitement.
“If you don’t want me here, I can always go back.” You laughed into his chest. He looked at you and firmly shook his head before slotting you back into place against him.
“Let’s have lunch, shall we?” You asked as you pulled away, taking his hand in yours and leading him to the table where you had already placed the take out you ordered shortly before he arrived.
As you were eating, you told him everything about how you had come to live in Korea. He cursed at the fact that Taehyung knew this entire time, but after you told him not to be mad at the poor boy, he nodded and said he understood why he kept it a secret.
“I’m going to have to punish you for lying to me this whole time...you know that right?” He was looking at you from the corner of his eye, but you didn’t miss the mischievous glint swimming behind them.
“Of course, sir…” You replied in perfect Korean.
Those 3 words turned the mischievous glint, into full blow lust. You saw the change in him as he sat a little straighter, started licking and biting at his lips, and of course the way his pupils were blown wide as he looked at you.
He stood from his chair and stalked towards you like an animal hunting his prey. He held out his hand to you, and expectantly raised his eyebrows. You put your hand in his. As you stood he spun you around, your hands bracing the wall as he molded his body to your back. His lips attached to your neck and you sighed into his kiss.
“Do you know how much I’ve missed you? How much I have craved you? To feel you against me, under me, above me?” He said as he punctuated each question with a sharp roll of his hips into your backside.
All you could do was groan as you put your head back to lean against his shoulder. He took the opportunity as your chest pushed upwards to roam his hands from your hips to your breasts. Massaging them in each of his palms. You took one of your hands and pushed it in between your bodies to palm at his clothed erection. His eyes snapped open as he spun you around, pushing you back into the wall while pinning your arms above your head.
“Now, now. I didn’t say you could touch me, did I?” He said as he ran his nose along your jaw, causing you to shiver under his touch. “Words, princess.”
“No, sir. You didn’t say I could touch you.” You sighed out as he pressed his body flush with yours. Eyes looking deeply into yours as he nudged your nose with his own.
“Naughty girl.” He chuckled darkly. “We’re going to have to do something about that now aren’t we?”
You didn’t have the chance to answer him properly, as the second he got the last syllable of his question out he crashed his lips into yours. Tongue immediately swiping your bottom lip to gain entrance to your enticing mouth. As you kissed, he hugged his body to yours, relishing in the feeling of having you with him again. He could break out into tears at the fact that he would now have you with him for good, that you wouldn’t have to part from each other. At that thought he pushed both of you off the wall, leading you into your bedroom without breaking the kiss.
He tossed you down on the bed, with him following shortly after. Settling himself in between your legs as he kissed you deeply, not willing to part from you for a single second. Not yet, at least.
You had been lazily making out for what felt like forever, but seconds all at the same time, he lifted off of you. His fingers skirting the hem of your t-shirt.
“Let’s see what you’re hiding under here. Shall we?”
You returned his mischievous smile from earlier as you stood up from your bed, pushing his shoulders until he was laying flat on his back. Propping up his head on the hands he had laced behind his head. You made a show of taking off your shirt, swaying your hips as you moved to remove your jeans. You noticed Jimin licking his lips as you revealed what was underneath. Climbing up on his lap, your knees on either side of his hips, you continued to put on a show for him.
You put your hands on his chest and rolled your hips against him a couple times before leaning down, giving him a nice view of your chest, and kissing the length of his neck, moving along his jawline, before reaching his ear on the other side.
“I bought all of this just for you, sir. They’ve been under my clothes this whole time and you didn’t even have a clue.” You practically moaned into his ear. You gasped when you felt the palm of his hand reach your cheek in a loud smack. Even more to his liking, you groaned when his hand did the same thing to the other side. His hands slid up your body, landing at your waist as he began to side you over his clothed length. You delightfully moaned into his ear, a sound he wished to hear more of.
He tapped your thighs, signaling for you to sit up. When he did he ripped his shirt off his body, and undid the button on his jeans and you eagerly helped push them off his body along with his boxers. You slid your hands along the length of his chest, spending a little extra time feeling the deep ridges of his abs along your fingertips, moving to sit on your knees on the floor as you did so. He raised himself up, propping himself with his hands, and looked down at your expectantly. He threw his head back and groaned when you wrapped your hand around his cock and gave an experimental squeeze. While he was distracted, you took him into your mouth. Rolling your tongue around the head. Your actions caused him to completely lose strength as his arms gave out and his back hit the mattress. As he regains his composure he completely sits up, pulling your hair out of your face and bunching it up into his fist. You took the action as him wanting you to take him deeper, which you happily obliged. It took your gag reflex a moment to settle down, but once it did you were able to take all of him down your throat. Stilling for a second, he began to lose patience as he began to thrust up into your mouth.
“Ah, princess. That feels so good…” He groaned as he thrust his hips upwards. As he did this, you rubbed your hands up and down his thighs, letting him know you were okay and he could keep going. It was when you cupped his balls and began rolling them in your hand that he pulled you off of him with a loud pop.
“You want me to cum in that filthy mouth of yours, don’t you?” He asked. His voice dropped an octave as he fell deeper and deeper into the lust that was clouding his brain. You wiped your lips as you looked up at him with the most innocent eyes you could muster, and nodded.
“Come here.” He said as he held his arms out to you to pull you back onto his lap. He reconnected his lips to yours for a brief moment before he flipped you onto your back. His hands finding their way to the hem of the stocking you were wearing, he moved to the floor as he began pulling them down. Kissing every area they were once covering, pulling them off as he reached your ankles. Then did the same thing to your other leg. His hands roamed their way back up your body, and slipped under the waistband of your lace boyshorts. He looked up at you, when you nodded your underwear were discarded with your stockings. Leaving the bottom half of you exposed to him.
He maneuvered himself back up until he was eye level with your dripping core. “All of this, for me?” He sighed as he took in a deep breath. When you didn’t immediately answer him, he smacked the outside of your thigh. “Yes, yes. Only for you. Only ever for you.” You yelped. “Now please, Jimin….Plea-ohhhh..” You stuttered as he licked a long stripe from your entrance to your clit. Where he stayed, flicking the bundle of nerves as if his life depended on it. Your back arching off of your bed and your hands intertwining with the light strands of his hair. He chuckled as you gargled out a moan as he entered two fingers into you. Curling his fingers just enough to reach the spot inside you that had galaxies twisting and turning behind your eyelids.
Goosebumps rose along your skin as you reached your high quicker than you thought was ever imaginable. You didn’t even have time to warn Jimin, not that he cared. “Jimin!” You screamed as he continued on his mission, Not letting up for even a second. You tried to push him off of you, but your limbs weren’t working correctly as the pleasure started to overwhelm the pain of overstimulation.
“One more...hmm?...I know you can be good and give me one more.” He whispered as his fingers continued their movements inside of you, moving his mouth back to your clit once you nodded. Your hands were gripping his hair tighter as he sent you hurtling towards your second high in mere minutes. You cried out, your body convulsing uncontrollably as you orgasmed around his fingers. You could barely hear his coos of praise as the rushing waves of pleasure took over all your senses. He waited for you to come back to him before he moved on, stroking your hair, and making sure you were okay. He was sure that was the first time anyone had ever done that for you, and he didn’t want to push you too hard.
“Are you okay, love?” He asked when he saw the light return to your eyes. You nodded with a smile and he put his hands on the front clasp of your bustier, not moving an inch until you gave him the okay. When you simply nodded, his face set into a deep frown. “How many times must sir tell you, I need to hear words, princess. Do I need to make this ass red again since you can’t listen?” He asked while grabbing a handful of your cheeks and squeezing. “No! I’m sorry, sir. I will be good. Please, please, continue.” You rushed the words out so fast you weren’t sure he understood. Your body already alight for more pleasure that was guaranteed to come from the man draping himself across your body. After a quick peck, he moved his hands back to the front of your bustier, undoing the clasp and sliding the garment away from your body. He massaged your breasts as he lavished your neck with all the bite marks and bruises you could ever need or want. When he pinched your hardened nipple, you shoved your chest into his hand with a gasp. Moans escaping your lips as he rolled the pebbled bud between his fingers, while flicking the other with his tongue. He switched sides, drinking every single noise you made in, remembering the sounds as if this were the last time he would ever get to hear them. When he felt like they had gotten the attention they deserved, he moved back up to your mouth. Lazily rolling his tongue with yours as he had done before. As if he had all the time in the world. You reached for his cock, which had been angry and leaking for a good amount of time now, and lined it up with your center. After one final kiss, he slowly began pushing himself in. Dropping his head into your neck, groaning at the way your heat enveloped him, a feeling he was certain he would never be able to get over.
“Jimin, move. Please move.” You signed as you felt him bottom out. “You don’t need to tell me twice.” He chuckled as he began thrusting in and out of you. You thanked Taehyung and his smart brain for finding you an apartment that was on the corner of your building. You didn’t have to worry about your headboard knocking against the wall, clueing your neighbors in on what you were doing.
Jimin’s bangs began sticking to his forehead as he propped himself up above you on his arm. He used his other arm to prop your leg on his shoulder. With one thrust at this new angle, he pushed deeper into you than you thought was possible. He stilled for a moment, looking up at the ceiling and moaned as your nails raked his arms. Leaving crescent shapes in the taut muscles. When he began slamming into you, reaching down to draw sloppy figure eights into your clit is when you lost all coherent thought.
“Are you gonna cum, hmm?” He cooed. “Are you gonna cum around your sir’s cock and make yourself all messy for me?”
“Yes! Yes! Please, sir, please make me cum around your cock.” You yelled as his thrusts became sloppier.
“Cum then. Hurry up, don’t make your sir wait.” He commanded, and with one final thrust you were a shrieking, shuttering mess beneath him. He put your leg down and grabbed your hips. Thrusting in and out of you so hard you had to brace yourself against the headboard to keep from getting a concussion.
“Finish inside of me, sir. Please. I need you to finish inside of me.” You begged, as he came closer and closer to his end. When you wrapped your legs around his waist in an effort to bring him impossibly closer is when his arms gave out, landing on top of you as you felt his warmth fill you to the brim, moaning into your mouth as he sloppily kissed you. Thrusting slowly in and out of you until he became too sensitive to continue. With one final kiss to your forehead, he shuffled off the bed and into your bathroom to retrieve a towel.
When he came back you noticed he was smiling and holding something. You looked over at him as he held up the blue cup and toothbrush.
“Is this….mine?” He said shyly, a complete contrast to the person that was just inside you, commanding you to cum around him.
“Yes…” You said. Ducking your head underneath the duvet. “I got it in case...you know….you ever wanted to stay the night. Or whatever.”
You felt your mattress dip under his weight as he pulled the blanket away from your face. “I would love to take you up on that offer. Now, let’s get you cleaned up.” He said as he set the cup on the bedside table.
Tumblr media
You ordered takeout and watched movies wrapped up in each other for the rest of the night. The only difference was, this time when you fell asleep on the couch and woke up a couple hours later, Jimin was still next to you. Still fast asleep, without a care in the world. You began tracing his features with the lightest feather like touch, moving the strands of his hair out of his face before moving down his nose to his lips. You don’t know when he woke up, but you couldn’t miss the light peck of his lips against your fingers as his eyes fluttered open.
“Did you sleep well, my love?” You blushed at being caught admiring your boyfriend. You weren’t sure why, you’d been together for 7 years now. You had been caught staring at him more than once. Perhaps it was because this was much more intimate. Much closer than you had been over the past 4 years. Your heart swelled as you thought about how you would be spending the rest of your foreseeable life like this. You nodded as you cuddled closer into his chest, feeling his chest shutter with the chuckles rolling through him as he cradled you closer to his body.
“Let’s go get in bed. Yeah?” He said. His voice was heavy with sleep. You nodded and begrudgingly pulled yourself from his warmth and made your way to your bedroom. Pulling back the sheets and laying down, he took the other side of the bed and pulled you flush with him. Both of your breaths becoming deep and slow as sleep once again pulled you under.

-6 months later-
Life in Korea was far better than anything you expected. Although, if you were honest with yourself you did not know what you were expecting. Your job was fantastic and you got along well with your coworkers. Being on call 24/7 wasn’t that bad, as it was only once or twice a week you were called by a potential investor outside of work hours. Even then, you were able to speak with them from the comfort of your own home.
Jimin was spending more time at your place than the apartment he shared with Taehyung. Tae of course pouted at this, but you made him feel better by setting up a second TV in your living room so you could all play your favorite video games together. You also relished at the fact that you made Tae blush when you told him he could now find a girlfriend of his own to bring home, and not having to worry about Jimin being there. The rest of Jimin’s friends were great. You met them slowly, one by one, as their schedules are getting busier by the day. The couple of times you hung out with them all together, you compared them to a pack of wild hyenas. Which sent Jimin into hysterics at the picture forming in his mind, telling you it was true between giggle fits.
Jimin and his company made a deal that they wouldn’t force him to continue the fake relationship with Rose, if he would make his relationship with you public. Thinking it would boost their sales if his fans knew he was happy and healthy. That they would believe the words behind his music more than they already had.
You were lost in thought walking down the streets of Seoul after lunch, hand in hand with Jimin. Your thoughts had drifted to how happy you were to be here with him, and patting yourself on the back for making the decision you did.
“What are you thinking about, love?” Jimin asked, turning to face you, stopping you in your tracks.
Wide eyed, you answered him honestly, without so many words. “I love you.”
His eyes closed with how big of a smile he was wearing, pressing a tender kiss to your forehead before saying, “I love you, too. Always have, always will. Thank you for moving here.”
You began walking back towards your apartment when he ran around to face you, once again forcing you to skid to a halt. You looked at him as he began rummaging around in his pocket. You looked at him questioningly, before it all clicked in your head as he sank down to the ground.
“J-J-Jimin….?”
“Y/N…” He began, swallowing his nerves. “Will you marry me?”
You began crying as you nodded at him, your hands covering your mouth. You held out your hand to him as he placed the beautiful silver ring with a single diamond in the center around your finger. He wrapped you in a tight hug, tears of his own falling from his eyes. Even as the clicking of cameras could be heard from all around you, all you could focus on was Jimin, and all that made him, him.
He planted a loving kiss right on your lips, and whispered in your ear, “Thank you for making me the happiest man alive, Y/N. I will do everything I can to make you happy for the rest of yours.”
That was a promise that he kept, for the rest of your lives together.
