Tooth fairy

Its early October,you know what that means, its Halloween time

The time where the vail between the spiritual world and the living is the thinnest

You and tooth usually celebrate together,she does get more work during hallowing because of all the candy but she spends the most of her time with you

She helps you hang up the decorations and spread the Halloween feels

However you havnt done that yet,not only that but you dont have that much time left you only have a month

Once tooth realizes that somethings wrong she'll immidatly do ask the other guardians if they had seen you or if they had heard something from you,the results all come back the same,you were seemingly no where

She decided to check the globe,that could have a clue right?

That's when she noticed there were many less lights then usual,and that when it started to line up..

People were forgetting about you.

The last time you had spoke before going radio silent you had mentioned that it wasnt even October and people were advertising Christmas things

She had realised that you had probally hid yourself away becuase of this

When she does eventually find you shes understandable very worried for you.

After she gets a thorough explanation she'll waste no time in helping you with preparations

However first off,she has to get you in the Halloween mood,as your current one is rather sour,and we cant have that!

She cheers you up by bringing you around and showing you places that are getting ready for Halloween

She brings you to see a small shop that has cobwebs,spiders,skeletons,ghosts the whole lot,she smiles as she sees a small one form on your lips

She then brings you to stores as parents and kids are choosing out pumpkins,baskets,sweets and costumes

When a smile finally Grace's your lips she hugs you tightly and tugs with her to get more decorations up and around

She understands what it feels like to be forgotten and she dosnt want that to happen to you

Bunnymund/Easter bunny

Hes used to people neglecting his holidays for others

But hes surprised when there seems to be lesser lights on the globe

Things line up really quickly in his head as the cogs start working

He dosnt waste a second,immediately searching for you in fear you've disappeared

Once he finds you he tries to calm you down reassuring you that aslong as hes there he wont let you disappear

He even decorates Easter island with some Halloween decorations

He gives you Halloween styled eggs as a way to cheer you up

He will decorate pumpkins with you aswell

since halloween takes place in fall he might take you to forests where the leaves have turned orange and are starting to fall

he will help you decorate places and even though hes not the biggest sweet tooth,with a big oof bribery im sure he'll try a sweet oor two

he'll constantly be there and comforting you

easter isnt all ways widley celebrated so hes probally had a fear of fading aswell

he wont ever say it but due to the fact that your holidays is overlooked in favour for christmas,he holds a small grudge

he knows its not norths fault but hes just salty

Jack frost

Honestly hes kind of tone deaf

hes very happy go lucky and isnt used or very good at adapting to change

id like to think that he was quite close to you even before becoming a guardian,because halloween is in the colder months of the year

it might take another guardian to point out your abscents or off behaviour

however just because hes abit tone deaf dosnt mean hes not smart

once its been pointed out to him hes going on a man hunt for you

altough he wasnt in an entirely similar situation,he still knows what its like to feel isolated,scared and alone,and as his S/o he dosnt want yuo feeling the same

once locating you the first thing he'll do is make sure your not fading away

if you are then he will moost likely panic

he will eventually calm himself down,realising that panicing wont help it at all

his first priorety is to make sure that your ok

mentally and physically

afterwards he takes you to do things to take it off your mind

some of his favorite things to do are skating and carving pumpkins,if your not good at either he'll help you

he loves decorating everywhere with fun decorations

his favorite halloween decore are those door bells that grab youor finger or smth(i hate those things with a passion,so i can imagine him loving them)

north/santa claus

if anyones going to find out the fastest,itts north

he has to keep a keen eye on the months and probally realise that its your holliday

his first reaction is to celebrate your holiday with you,he feels alot like a father figure to you and as such he feels he needs to celebrate your holiday with you

though the smile on his face dosnt stay long as he finds that many stores,instead of having halloween decoration.have christmas things

thats not right.

at first he thinks it might just be the store,and so he checks others

thats until he becomes aware that its most stores

why are they all decroated with christmas decore,they should be deced out with sceletons and pumpkins

not snowmen and gingerbreadmen

after coming to this realisation he checks the globe before visiting you#

he gets quite anxxious once checking the globe

hes quick to find and omfort you,hes quite furious people are neglecting your holiday for his.christmas is still months away!

after calming you down he will go ALL OUT on halloween decorations,the north pole dosnt even look like what it once was,white robes with dark circles are hanging around the celeing,skeletons have been placed everywhere in different positions,fake spiders and fake spider webs have been thrown enywhere they can.

all the elves and yeti's take a day off,to decorate pumpkins.

he'll probaly also reach out to the other guardians,inviting them all over so you can all celebrate together.<3

sandy/sandman

sandy is very intune with the going oon in the world,aswell as being extremly intuitive

hes probally seen this coming though he didnt think itd be to such an extent where it'd cause you distress

after feeling a particullary cold gust of autaum wind its clear something is wrong

after checking the globe it seems that his hypthesis had become reality

he wasnt very surprised since he had a nagging feeling it'd happen,apart of him thinks that he might have just been denieing that you had the possibility to fade,that he was in denial

either way he had to push his own thoughts away as he had more importtant things to do,such as comforting you and restoring your holiday to its former glory,or at least try to.

after locating you hes quick to alert you of his precents though he may not be the best at calming you down since,he cant really speak.

hes most likely to put you to sleep and give you good dreams whilst brainstorming ideas to help your current dilema

once your awake and calm,he'll try his best to relay his ideas and help you

cutting pumpkins is a must

he will try his best to make candy with you

if you ever need some comfort just say the word and hes hugging you and trying his best to comfort you

he makes sure you have good dreams for days

he promises that he'll try his best to help you

he'll be dammed if he ever didnt go through with that promise to you.

the other guardians will most likely notice both of your distress and end up helpping,either that or sandy asks them directly.

hunt: Who or what is your OC hunted by? A person, a feeling, a past mistake? Is your OC able to let their guard down, or are they constantly alert?

its been so long that he isnt constantly on guard or anything. like in a literal sense dyheri is hypervigilant but its becauses hes a rogue and a thief so he Has to be alert to survive. but specifically the person whos hunting him is so far in the past and he believes he never even cared for him at all so dyheri would have no idea that his fathers even looking for him. the regret haunts him definitely, he wonders if he did the right thing running away, but then quickly will stamp the feeling out with resentment instead. meanwhile his dad khnorvir HAS been hunting him since the day he left hes just never found him to the point that he thought he was dead and began practicing necromancy

wound: How does your OC handle being wounded? Are their wounds mostly physical? Mental? Emotional? What's the worst wound your OC has ever experienced?

the two most obvious answers are the trauma from his childhood and while not a "wound" in the practical sense more like a gradual adjustment into disability his blindness. normal wounds are treated with the appropriate amount of lone practical care to keep him moving and hes pretty detached about them. his childhood however fundamentally changed how he views relationships - he was born to parents who didnt care fully for him and unintentionally or not taught him by sending him on rogue jobs with their associates that rhe only way to get affection was by doing service for other people and all love was conditional and temporary. so not only did that cause him to run away from his foster father out of abandonment issues, now long into adulthood he doesnt trust anyone and solely shows platonic affection through trying to awkwardly share his spoils with those he likes / doing tasks for them.

his blindness. he came from the underdark so already has sensitive eyesight attuned to pitch black + was born with albinism which made them even more sensitive so when he ran away from home and found his way to the surface he quickly learned to start covering his skin and eyes to prevent injury. but more than a century in sunlight with delicate eyes like his will worsen his eyesight no matter how resilient he was. hed probably have a lot of internalised ableism about it at first - fear, mainly, because hes afraid of relying on other people and believed losing his eyesight would disadvantage him and make him lose his independence and Have to depend on others. through surviving on his own throughout this change however he'd realise this isn't the case, he'd adapt his own ways to accommodate his new needs and additionally meet a faerie dragon named scrimp that would become his service familiar. by the time he's lost the majority of his eyesight he's made peace with it as much as any newly disabled person can - he still has spells of despair and frustration but on the whole he copes well and is now used to thinking even faster to keep ahead of those wanting to use it against him.

ghost: Who or what haunts your OC? What happened? How do they live with their ghosts?

simple! his foster father kh'norvir. as ive said before dyheri had very uncaring birth parents but theyd hang around a tavern where a gloura bard played. he saw how badly mistreated the child was and through his charms managed to get the parents to pass custody under the guise of an apprenticeship and raised him as his own. dyheri though had already learnt that the love he was given was conditional so was convinced khnorvir would get sick of him and give him away like anyone else had. he acted out on purpose to make this happen quicker but it of course dient happen, so in his teen elf years he finally decided that if he ran away first then khnorvir wouldnt habe the opportunity to abandon him. so he did

on the whole hes successfully let his mind paint khnorvir as just as villainous as his parents and their colleagues over the decades so hes convinced himself he was right and doesnt miss him. he gets lonely so often because of his inability to let people in but he just resigns himself to believing this is how he has to live to survive in a cruel world

Geraskier - android Jaskier

@sirencipher and I came up with something wonderful today and thought we gotta share. (they're wonderful ya’ll please give them all your love)

- a post-apocalypse AU, in which jasiker dies. Geralt, heartbroken, and unable to tell their family and friends that Jaskier had passed; builds a droid Jaskier out of desperation (and desolation.) ‘no one can take the anguish of losing anyone else’ he thinks. ‘but, they can assume this is the real Jaskier.’ Geralt, employing magic, pulls Jaskiers memories from his physical form, and stores them into the droid Jaskier. and for all the droid Jaskier knows, they’re real, alive.

- it’s a profoundly morbid creation, a hollow thing, ‘but it keeps Jaskiers memory alive’. and for now, that’s enough for Geralt.

- Geralt covers up that the droid is not real, just until everyone is ready to lose Jaskier he reflects, just a ‘little while’.

- and droid Jaskier cannot die on Geralt, which offers some consolation.

- but looking at them makes him feel as if he has betrayed original Jaskier, but somehow he can’t let it go.

- in some moments, it’s easy to forget they aren’t the real Jaskier. he always fails in the times the droid is with other people, they look so real. but droid Jaskier isn’t the same when they are alone; it’s like having Jaskier there, but any time Geralt moves to touch, he dissolves into dandelion fuzz. Geralt could program how Jaskier felt about anybody else. but, Jaskier had never confided how he truly felt about Geralt. “Jaskier had tried as he laid dying, but the bullet had gone straight into his throat. the sole thing that graced his lips was blood and ocean waves.” the part of Jaskier he needs desperately is missing. was rinsed away in the sea’s salt.

- Geralt had used as many of the memories he could pluck from Jaskier. but himself and the droid could not work out how the memories had threaded together to make up Jaskier. Jasker had always confounded the Witcher, now Geralt desperately wished he had made more of an effort to understand the man. he’ll never wholly know now, with Jaskier - his Jaskier, his lark - changing into the larkspur flowers he adored so much in a small unmarked grave Geralt had dug him.

- but Geralt fears that if he dies before he can admit to everybody about Jaskiers death, Jaskier grave will be lost to everyone. he’ll be forgotten. but he cannot risk putting a name to the unmarked grave, he can’t risk everyone finding out.

- ‘but when is their ever a right time to reveal to everyone of the crime he committed out of his own desperation?’

- he doesn’t know, so he vows to himself he will confess to them when he’s moved on. but it’s inconceivable, because everyday he wakes to almost Jaskiers face; it’s almost like the oil paintings in the museum’s Jaskier used to drag him too before the war. all the portraits of beautiful individuals, those individuals who were created perfect by other people. Jaskier was born perfect, and Geralt replication of him has far too many imperfections. it was all wrong.

- the droid stays for a long time. too long.

- Geralt realises this was a terrible, terrible mistake. a lapse in his judgement - Jaskier caused a lot of those for him -but Geralt knew better.

- one day he will shut the android down; Jaskier will die a second time. kill the ghost of his love, and that will weigh on his conscience until he’s back again with Jaskier. maybe even after that.

- he questions why he really did this, did he honestly do this to save Ciri from losing another parent? no. it was a pitiful excuse for being selfish, this is the time Geralt had chosen to be selfish? he just could’nt handle remaining in a world where all his love could do is die. love is now a spear of larkspur, will someone rob him of that too?

Geralt is pissed at himself for the situation he got himself into. how will he explain the droids death? its disappearance without hurting everyone? without hurting Ciri?

-he’s on a bed of knives, and any move will hurt himself and everyone else. he’s fucked himself. and he knows real Jaskier would be equally pissed as we as find the whole predicament hilarious.

- he can hear Jaskiers response just thinking of it. “come on Geralt, what we’re thinking? that’s right, you weren’t thinking at all.”

- and perhaps the worse of all, he’s hurt the last remnants of the bard. he’s done a great evil against the android. lying to him about who he is and telling him will burst their mechanical heart. if they have one

- Geralt has gotten himself into a house of mirrors, not matter where he swings it’s going to hurt. he will not escape with no guilt. but it must end, maybe even soon. 'but not today’ he thinks.

- at some point, he finds himself sitting in Jaskiers room, surrounded by the parts of the real Jaskier that were left behind. Geralt had taken up caring for Jaskiers things. the droid couldn’t manage such a task. and they need to keep up appearances.

- you see, real Jaskier is a fiddler, a tinker. he always had something in his hands. it’s one thing Geralt missed most. he always found broken lute strings tied in shapes and pulled apart pens and things around the house. he was constantly doing something. but all the android can do is hold them. blink at them slowly. they have no recollection of what to do with them.

- so Geralt decides that the droid will never see or touch another thing made by Jaskier hands.

- the droid can’t even create any new songs, none that sound right. the soul just isn’t there. Geralt wonders why no one has noticed how pale the world is now. there are so many things amiss with android Jaskier. his eyes are the wrong shade of blue. his hair is wrong. passable. but wrong, and no matter how hard Geralt tried he couldn’t replicate Jaskiers smile. and worse, Jaskier sing-song voice. it seemed as if Geralt had hacked the soul from Jaskier.

- a big part of him is furious that no one has realised the ruse, but they think Jaskier is just under the weather, maybe even heartbroken for the loss of the old world.

-but how could they imagine Geralt doing such a thing like building a fake Jaskier? great isn’t a liar. never. he was renowned for being ruthlessly honest. no one would think him capable of such a thing. but they forget he’s good at pretending. he did it around Jaskier for a long time. everyone.

- Geralt eventually has a break down over android Jaskier not being enough, about what a piss poor copy he made of the man. Geralt questions if he even really knew the bard.

- he didn’t. and it will torment him until he dies. so he looks through Jaskiers notebooks, in hopes to touch some unexplored part of him. he finds songs, notes of Jaskiers thoughts

- he finally cries.

- he cries when he sees Jaskiers drawings. he didn’t know the bard could draw. Geralt finds lots of doodles and pictures of him mingled amongst love songs and stories of Geralts heroism.

- there are unsent love letters, years worths of them. unsent letters addressed to Geralt are tucked amongst the pages. some are sealed, ready to send. others not even finished. Geralt wants to read them, truly. but is it right for him to read them? Jaskier isn’t here to say no and none of this really matters. it doesn’t matter, he’s already surpassed considering morality. so he reads them.

- It’s all too painful, and the realisation has been a creeping thing, and it hits him like a freight train. And here he is, sitting in the ashes of a man’s life, responsible for a fraudulent version of him.

And Geralt decides then and there to get rid of the android. But it won’t be easy now, is it? it’s been weeks, months? And there’s so much he must explain. Even to the android. He may not be Jaskier. But he still wears his face.

- but he has to. so like every other night, he helps the droid to bed. but this one will be different. Geralt can’t help but take the droids to face in his hands - cradle Jaskiers face in his hands for the first and last time. and tell them the truth.

- the droid cannot cry, but if they could he know it would be. Geralt tells them he’s so fucking sorry. love - love makes you do stupid things. horrible things. but it won’t hurt, he swears, it’s just like going to sleep, you’ve gone to sleep so many times

- Geralt slowly raises the droids shirt. pries its chest open - where Jaskiers heart should be. ha, Geralt thinks, this is not the first time he’s ripped Jaskiers heart open, he’s read the bards poems, songs, about how the Witchers hands had dug into jaskiers soul and tore it into two. but this isn’t Jaskier. with tears, Geralt pulls out wires and wheels that made up the droids heart.

- the droid leaves him with the image of Jaskiers face permanently frozen half afraid, half sad look. not too much different from how the real Jaskier looked. just lacked the sea water and blood.

- Geralt catches the droid as it fell. something he wished he could have done for Jaskier. he sets them on the bed. makes it look as if Jaskier had passed peacefully. for his own sake and for their families sake. it’s what he deserved.

I no one really asked what happened. a great many of the things could have happened. Jaskier finally gets a funeral. one he deserves. but Geralt asks to bury him alone. he dismantles the droid. and marks Jaskiers grave; it lays facing the ocean.

By the lack of replies you assumed Seokmin was busy with a client at the parlour. He was a favourite amongst the people and it was funny to see his face dissolve into a state of flutter as he mumbled it out.

You near the tattoo parlour, ready to hand over Seokmin the plastic bag stocked with strawberry milk, but come to a sudden stop.

“Seok’?”

The scene was far enough for anyone to not notice you, but near for you to see Seokmin stopped from going into the parlour, a box in his arms, as a girl blocks him.

Although you couldn’t hear what was going on, the actions spoke for itself. You counted how many times this girl touched Seokmin and compared it with how many times Seokmin touched her.

When Seokmin moved, she’d block him again; she pokes at his chest, one time, two times, three times; her hand will grab the male’s wrist and almost drop the box as she pulled him back; pushing Seokmin a step back whenever she’d turn to scoff.

You move in a little closer, now hearing the words firing.

“Yuri, I’m really busy right now so-“

The quiet voice was cut off by the girl, much louder and powerful than his. “Running away again, huh?” A scoff comes out, smirking a little. “That’s all you do, don’t you Seokmin?”

“It’s — That’s not true-“

“Of course it is! You’re always running away from me because you can’t man up and take this seriously. It’s quite sad to see you think like that.”

Seokmin’s mouth hangs open for a bit, wanting to say something but his jaw trembles.

“What.” Yuri backfires. “Something to say?”

Seokmin denies it, closing his mouth before he looks down at the ground, visibly sighing.

“Hey- Hey you! Look at me!”

You don’t fail to catch the flinch Seokmin has when she addresses him as ‘you’. You don’t fail to see his hands beginning to shake, his eyes moving around everywhere to see at the few people looking at him and Yuri, the fear seeping through.

So she attacks yet again. It was beginning to make your blood boil.

“You can’t even do something simple, how stupid. Face it, you still need me-“

“Just leave me alone Yuri — Leave — Leave me the fuck alone okay!”

“What… What did you just say to me you-“

“I’m so tired of feeling like this for years now. Do you have to go through what I went through? Did you know how I felt? I hate it — I hate it. Just go away, you need to leave-“

Yuri’s face changes drastically. “Why- You asshole!” Her hand lifts itself up. “Think about what you say next time!”

And when he hand moves towards Seokmin’s direction, the latter doesn’t feel the stinging pain. He doesn’t feel his darkest moments that come along with it. His eyes are shut tight, but opening them slowly, his view is covered by a figure.

And Seokmin could see the faint view of a bruise forming on your cheek.

“Who are you?” Spits Yuri, clearly thrown off guard.

“I could ask the same, but I think the slap tells me enough.”

“Shouldn’t you be minding your own business?”

“It’s my business now that you slapped me.”

“That wasn’t for you!” She screams, frustrated as she stomps on the ground. “Now leave us the fuck alone!”

“Seokmin doesn’t deserve to be harassed like this! Don’t you realise how humiliating you look right now? He’s right — You should leave.”

“Is that right? What if I don’t want to? What are you gonna do about it?”

“Don’t challenge me, I have plenty of reasons of why you should leave-“

She rudely cuts you off all of a sudden, and you take a step back to feel the box meet your back. “Where?” She further challenges.

You hand instantly points to your cheek. “I can easily call the police if I wanted to, and everyone around me saw it for themselves so…” You shrug, watching her face change to disgust.

But she ignores you, looking back at the man behind you. “You know her? Your friends a sorta rude y’know-“

“Shut up.” Taken aback by Seokmin’s response (surprising you too), Yuri shuts up once again. “You can say whatever you want about me, but never speak a single word about my friends. You’re the one who hurt her anyway.”

“Why are you saying I hurt her?! I didn’t hurt her, she did it herself! That bitch did it to make me look bad. Seokmin please!” Yuri panics, laughing hysterically. Seokmin pulls you back a bit, dropping the box to the floor so he can step in front to shield you.

His hands are shaky by the touch, but he tries his best to steady his breaths. “That’s enough. I’ve had enough of you and I don’t want you back in my life ever… ever again. I’m sorry you’re like this but — but I’m done with you.”

You smile at his confidence, proud that he was getting out the words he wanted to say — despite there being more unspoken words that should be told — it was a start. One day, he’ll be all healed and ready to free his worries, and you quietly promised yourself to stay with him to see that day, and stay with him after that.

With Yuri’s tantrum going on, you slip your hand into the male’s, speaking up for her to hear. “We’ll leave you to it. If you aren’t going to go then we should — Next time think before you act. Goodbye.”

Not knowing where to walk, you cast the thought aside and walk to wherever you can go, preferably a quiet and spacious place.

You knew the perfect location.

After walking hand and hand for quite a while, keeping quiet as the atmosphere was tense and Seokmin was doing his not-talking thing, you arrive in front of the homely shop which you call your second home and the place that began it all.

The store was closed for the day, as it was your grandparents wedding anniversary and were spending the day to themselves before you joined them for dinner with your family — They’d be very surprised when they see you with a ugly discoloured mark on your face.

Seokmin and you settle, letting him sit on the counter as you find a seat from the back to sit on. The male is staring at his hands when you come back.

“Hey,” You call out softly, “how are you?”

“Thank you.”

His voice is small, barely echoing through the shop. You smile a little at him, tucking some his bangs behind his ear. “You’re welcome Seokmin. Can I? Sorry I didn’t ask earlier on.”

He knew you were talking about his hands, and you did feel the slight flinch when you held his hand before leaving. Seokmin shakes his head, translating to its okay, before nodding, lifting up your hands gently.

You ghost your fingers, rubbing your thumb on his skin before exploring further and shifting his sleeve to show the inked lock on his wrist, smiling sadly at it. He too is smiling sadly, as he could probably guess what you were thinking.

“We’ll get through this Seok’.” You promise, no sound of an empty promise anywhere. “I don’t know how we’ll do this, but we can find a way. Is that okay?”

Seokmin nods again, now looking at you. He’s thinking. His eyes shift slightly when he’s thinking, and his hands tense up before loosening its grip, before loosening again.

The male wants to do something and you pick up the signals to initiate it for him. Exhaling a small huff, you say, “I’m glad you’re safe. I’m so proud of you.” And pull him into the hug he’s been wanting to initiate, naturally holding each other tight.

His scent mixed in with the flowers, naturally feeling like home to you. This was going to take some time, and the lines may be blurry now, but you were going to make it work. And with some thinking time your voice is now quiet and small.

“Seok’?”

He hums next to your ear.

“My — My cheek hurts.” Your voice cracks. “It really, really hurts…”

And funnily enough you’re crying now, not sure what the cause of it is, but the pain was finally hurting now.

For the rest of that evening, Seokmin hushes you with soft shushes and head pats, before you request him to sing you to sleep.

ive said before that im being self indulgent with posts

but this is really it

im really out here writing this

lets get into this mess

so youre studying right

and you yourself do not have a laptop of your own

bc welcome to being a broke college kid im calling myself out

so you decide that youre gonna go to the library on campus bc sis,, cash in on the tuition money ok

so you go and youre like wow hahahaha i dont have a library card better sign up for one

so you go to the desk and theres no one there

just your luck really

you decide to wander around a little to see if theres anyone who can help you

and low and behold you stumble across someone

this young man knelt down by a shelf with a book rack next to him just humming softly and organizing books

and you catch his attention by clearing your throat slightly

he looks up and his eyes are big over the rims of his wire framed glasses that are clinging to the tip of his round button nose

and his hair is a little mussed from being bent down

but holy hell

youve read enough novels to know that this must be exactly what the characters are talking about when they say things like ‘love at first sight’

“sorry” he says as he standcs and brushes himself off “can i help you with anything?”

starstruck really

you manage to stutter out something about needing to register for a library card and he smiles so kindly it makes u want to melt

“sure!’ he says, motioning for you to follow him back up to the desk

is this what a trance feels like???

he asks you a few basic questions, like your name, your age, and what building your dorm is in so he can put it all on your new nifty library card

and then he turns around this lil webcam on top of his computer and asks you to stand in front of it and smile

and you do, awkwardly

and as hes looking down at the computer counting “3, 2, 1” he has this smile on his face like hes trying to hide it

and if that didnt make ur heart jump you dont know what ever would holy

so he prints off your card as youre still trying to recover from being in the presence of an angel

and he hands it to you and smiles

“library hours are 8 am to 12 am every day, but on the weekends i’m the one that closes. which means if you ever need some extra time to finish that essay you pushed off,,, i wont tell anyone”

like you have a secret with him now and its safe

you wonder absently as you stare down at the black and white picture of yourself on the back of your new card if he tells everyone about him closing on the weekends

you realise as youre halfway out that you came here to study on the computers but you really need some time to sit down and process the fact that you just say an actual angel

you can do your math homework on your phone for one more night if it means you can turn down your body heat from screaming blushing mess to slightly embarrassed rosy cheeks

the next time you get a chance to run by the library on campus, it just so happens to be sunday

you catch yourself wondering if dream boy meant friday and saturday or saturday and sunday when he said weekends

thats not important right now

what is important is that you have actual business to do in the library today

and that business is to pick up hamlet for your english class

you check in and someone else is at the front desk

you try not to let yourself feel disappointed

i mean you met him once for christs sake

the guy at the front is equally as attractive as dream boy from the previous week, but a little more relaxed to talk to since he isnt giving you any flirty subtones

the kid is all business really

he tells you that his name is doyoung if you need anything else

you ask how he got the job there, out of curiousity

because really, both of the librarians youve encountered seem pretty young for the standard librarian stereotype

doyoung explains that its a work-study job, so nearly all the people that work there are students at the university and work in between classes or on their off days to make some extra cash or pay off some tuition

and you can get behind that!!

so doyoung is cool and you decide you can go to him to ask questions instead

because while dream boy is a dream boy with pretty cheekbones and nice lips and a smooth voice and a good sense of style and a great height without insoles and looks great with glasses and has the most captivating eyes

hes a lil distracting lol

anyway you find yourself in the shakespearean section

and you grab a hamlet off the shelf and head back up to the front to have doyoung check the book out to you

and as hes handing you the book back you get a classroom notification saying that, despite common belief, the book rental wasnt due by tomorrow, but the whole book reading is due by tomorrow

you wonder how the fuck professors get away with shit like this and then you remember that you didnt bother to read the syllabus so you cant really get too mad at anyone but yourself

so you find a table that looks like it has the comfiest chairs and cozy up for a long evening of reading and annotating

(depending on who you are you either love or hate hamlet, either way it is exhausting to annotate anything from that man so bear with me ok)

five hours later and ⅔ of the annotations later it is 11:56pm

and you havent noticed

you hadnt noticed much of anything happening in the real world after you popped in a headphone and started reading about guards seeing a ghost

that is until someone plops down in the seat in front of you and asks

“so what are you studying”

and you look up, a little delayed because youre finishing a notation

only to find that its dream boy

and your brain blanks for a sec bc wow every time you see him its kinda like?? ouch???? my heart bro

so you just kind of shake your head and mutter some “im not really sure anymore”

and theres some truth to that!! first there were ghosts and now theres dead girlfriends dads and dead girlfriends and talking about a skull in a graveyard

that play is really a wild ride brother

and dream boy sits there and laughs, wholesomely

you could die happy

“yeah i get that” he says, rubbing the back of his neck

theres a pause that carries on a bit too long

“wanna hear a dumb joke?” he asks suddenly

you smile then, partially out of exhaustion and partially because wow?? cutie

“sure” you say

“okay. what do you call a nervous javelin thrower?”

you pause for a sec bc wtf

“dunno. what do you call them?”

he flashes this cute fucking grin that you know is supposed to be slick but just comes off as wholesome and says

“shakespeare”

and you shouldve seen that coming wow

and its so dumb that you actually??? giggle????? and that turns into a laugh??

youre probably just exhausted from annotations but maybe that was actually funny

and his smile softens like hes made progress on something

“y/n, right? i dont think i ever actually introduced myself. i’m jaehyun”

he smiles and reaches across the tabe and you take his hand

its warm and strong and you try not to think about it too hard

“well, y/n, library loses here in another two minutes or so.”

he sees the look on your face fall

“but never fear!” he leans forward and lowers his voice

you hold your breath

“i told ya you could stay, didnt i?”

his smile is closed lipped and cute and genuine

before you can say anything hes up and ushering the last few people out of the library, telling them good night and good luck with their classes tomorrow

youre kind of caught in a brain dead daze after finally being pulled from your studying to watching this cute librarian named jaehyun bustle around and lock doors and turn off lights

and when he finally gets back to you he clicks on the lamp on the table youre working at and sets a cup of coffee in front of you

he mustve made it as you were falling asleep with your eyes open

you thank him copiously before asking

“i thought you let everyone stay after hours when you closed”

he looks up over the rim of his mug with a surprised look in his eyes

he shakes his head as swallows the clearly too hot coffee

“not at all. most of the time i kick them out and study by myself.”

he blushes like its a confession and it makes you feel,,,, something

but you dont want to press

so you just reach out and offer your other headphone to him because if you dont know what to say then you can both enjoy some good study music

so he pulls out his homework for the night and the two of you sit there and study

you sip off your coffee occasionally and both of you nod your heads to the music playing in your ears

he hums along to the ones he knows and a thought skips across your mind

you could get used to this

Han Solo

When he first seen you handle 6 stormtroopers at once, he knew he was destined to crash and burn because damn you’re hot and sassy and everything he wants in a woman. He’d lowkey follow you around all day before ‘unintentionally’ bumping into you at a market and striking up a conversation, because he’s a smooth bastard like that

He got constantly teased by Chewbacca because Han has never been flustered and taken with a girl the way he was with you. But would he tell you? Pshhh, nope. Shameless flirting and insults it is.

You become quick friends through mutual interests and endless sarcasm supply, though it does take you about a year to officially start dating. Han’s a little shy okay

Leia and Luke being really confused as to how the two of you can go back and forth exchanging insults, but also being very entertained. Poor Chewie is stuck being the referee. You’re also that one couple nobody would see coming, but when you do get together, it makes sense

He just loves you so much, he doesn’t say the words often, but you know he does.

Luke Skywalker

Let’s be real, this boy probably has literally no experience with feelings and emotions of the romantic kind, so he’d be confused when he’d feel his heart skip a beat just at the sight of you. Thank god for C-3PO.

He’d be shy at first, so when him and Han(let’s not forget Chewie) rescued you and Leia he was rendered speechless at your beauty

He’d get jealous of Han a lot, because he felt that the smuggler was everything he wasn’t. Whenever he’d see Han playing with your hair to get a reaction out of you, he’d feel a pang of jealousy and pain. This eventually led him to spontaneously kissing you in front of Han to get him to back away

The two of you support each other with every decision, there’s constant communication so the two of you barely ever fight or have a misunderstanding, plus there is nothing the two of you could possibly fight about. He’s passionate and you’re reasonable, so you complete each other.

You become a badass duo powercouple who fucks shit up(in a good way), him with his lightsaber and you with your blaster. Leia and Han take a close second

But he quickly finds out, because next thing you know he looses his cool and has you pressed up against the wall in a heated makeout session.

Obi-Wan is extremely smart, more so than other Jedi, so he quickly realises the dangers of you two being together and tries to distance himself from you.

2 hours later he’s knocking on your door with an apologetic smile and your favourite takeout

The two of you talk to Qui-Gon’s ghost a lot, and Obi-Wan couldn’t be happier that his old Master loves his girlfriend and deems her fit for him

He’s surprisingly dominant in bed, he uses the force to keep you pinned down or to keep the door closed when Anakin has no respect for your privacy(which is all the time)

He does want children at some point, but the two of you aren’t ready to bring little Kenobi’s into the world just yet. The council, the war, Anakin turning Dark Side and all...

Often you’d spend your nights curled up on the sofa reading together, of course people just thought you were good friends. Yoda did not, he knew, but he’s chill with it because since the two of you started dating your performance has drastically improved

He loves to hold your hand, and since he can only do it in the private space of your own house, there’s seldom a moment when his fingers aren’t intertwined with yours, or he isnt touching you in any way

Anakin is like your unofficial adopted child, you’ve taught him alongside Obi-Wan since he was a little boy, so his annoying ways have grown on you

Sex with Obi-Wan can go either of two ways. It can be gentle, loving and caring where he takes his time worshipping your body and making sure no part of you is left unsatisfied. As it was his duty to protect you, he’d spend all of his time with you, and the two of you got to know each other very well. He’s not as whiny as you originally thought

He’s never been one to follow the rules, so he doesn’t care too much when the two of you develop a relationship.

He loves kissing you whenever he can, he’s extremely affectionate and doesn’t care

He loves watching you braid your hair in different, complex styles all the time, or just twirl it around your finger when you’re bored.

You’re the only one who can calm his temper tantrums down, and literally everyone is grateful for that

The two of you don’t have any children, because Anakin doesn’t feel totally ready for the commitment, but you often talk of the day when you do start up a family. He really wants a daughter so he can spoil her

It takes him a while to admit that yes, he has taken a liking to you. He’d ask Snoke to send him on missions as much as possible so he wouldn’t have to train you, because he just didn’t know how to deal with his sudden influx of emotions towards you

Kylo finally snapped when he seen Hux flirting with you, and the overwhelming fear and anger at the thought of loosing you consumed him. Hux ended up with a broken nose and you with a boyfriend.

He’d let you use his lightsaber and fuck about because it made you happy, but he always kept his eyes on you to make sure you didn’t get hurt.

Eveyobody would be afraid of the two of you, Kylo because he’s got the reputation of a ruthless leader, and you because once you decapitated 12 stormtroopers without so much as flinching or breaking a sweat.

Keith’s been brainwashed and Lance hopes he can snap him out of it.

Summary:

Lance's fingers hovered over the talisman, an inch away from brushing against it. His mind went blank as he stared down at the other boy, who stared back at him with wide, questioning eyes that were a startling shade of violet.

The dazed look on the boy’s face transformed into a frown as his breathing quickened. The more his eyes focused on Lance, the more a wild panic started to set into them.

"Who are you?" he asked sharply. It sounded like he'd meant it to come out with more ferocity, but his voice rasped on the words like he hadn't spoken in weeks.

Lance doesn't know where he comes from––only that he was found in a forest on a distant planet when he was an infant, with no sign of his origin except a blue talisman around his neck. Nowadays he's content to travel the universe with his best friend Hunk, scavenging and selling goods. At first, he hadn’t had any of the mystery liquid out of fear of the unknown, but the second he saw Lance he chugged half of it’s contents. It’s fruity, but sour.

Keith looks up from the cup as he brings it to his lips again. His eyes, almost as if they’re trained to do so, find Lance. Lance is speaking to the short girl — Katie, he thinks is her name, but he isn’t positive — and the larger man he knows to be Hunk. He and Hunk have physics together. They’ve never spoken. Lance laughs at something Hunk says, and Keith finds himself smiling into his cup. He hates it and downs the rest of the cup’s contents, and then grimaces at the taste.

Keith decides he needs a refill.

more destiny oc stuff: avias past and yr 1 destiny timeline

totally inspired by @mrpinstripesuit‘s post last night, also featuring their guardians, also @nattiebug14 and @lostinthehaywoods oc’s carver and cornelia

(im making a lot of assumptions on how grier and avia met btw pin so if theres anything you disagree with or wanna change thats cool!!)

- petra and avia become part of the queens guard - uldren takes an interest in avia, potential for her to become a crow, which she really, really doesnt want - reef wars, petras sister dies, avia begins to question the awoken, why this happened

- petra grieves, avia is alone for the longest time and becomes frustrated, wondering what they're even fighting for - petra is promoted to the corsairs and avia has mixed feelings. petra needs the direction but avia doesnt think a promotion will fix anything, also if avia was a corsair uldren would Leave Her Alone. - tries to convince petra that everything is bullshit but petra just hears jealousy and treason - uldren pulls her up on it, and that's when she knows she needs to Leave - steals a harbinger at the first opportunity she gets - gets out of the reef and into our solar system before the other harbingers find her - it's a long ass fight, avia is able to evade them for the longest time until they shoot her engines out somewhere around the moon - she dies. the harbingers leave. a ghost is born, shakes its shell, and starts searching. - the remnants of her ship, with her nestled in the cockpit, break orbit of earth and crash land in the cosmodrome - she's revived with her memory in tact and her heart broken to pieces - she rejects her ghost and the light at first but her ghost is persistent and she gives in and follows him through the cosmodrome to find a ship - they make it to the tower and she's so fucking scared. the awoken do not speak highly of the guardians. - but her ghost leads her gently to cayde and he welcomes her jovially. doesn't much care for her past (only because he doesn't expect her to know it) - going through the D1 story is what gives her the direction she needed and begins to ground her, making her realise she can be a better person than she ever was at the reef - afterwards she admits to cayde that she remembers everything, after figuring out that it's not a Thing amongst guardians because she's Confused. he's supportive and passes her onto Ikora - huge mistake - she loves Ikora - cayde is kind of sad about it (jk) - Ikora tells her about the thananotauts and at the concept avia kind of puts her nose up to. it sound stupid and weird to her and refuses to explore it, like ‘oh hey actually I don't care that much I'll just keep being a guardian who has my memory as a bonus yay’ - avia kind of wanders around for a bit, patrolling and running strikes with guardians she never keeps in touch with. this is where she learns that she really, really doesnt get along with a lot of other hunters.

- petra comes to the tower as the queens emissary. avia doesnt recognise her at first but petra recognises her and its

- its not a good time for avia. petra tries to speak to her but avia bails all the way to venus and has a good old fashioned breakdown

- ikora calls her back and puts her on a mission to find tolands scattered journals. she fears the worst ones may still be out there and she doesnt want any wayward guardians finding them and abusing what power may lie within

- little does avia know she has another warlock, scarlet-2, searching for them as well.

- this is how scarlet and avia meet, with avia acting like a cat who caught their own reflection whenever scarlet is around

- scarlet doesnt much care even though this pint sized hunter constantly trying to one up her is. amusing.

- petra tries to approach avia again when shes in the tower with scarlet and the warlock very gently diffuses the situation, and has figured out by now that avia likes to Run Away and so she takes them to the cosmdrome

- avia doesnt give a lot of details, but basically explains the situation to scarlet and mentions that ikora wanted her to talk to the thananotauts and scarlets like ‘ew. you dont need to talk to them. they’re weird and desperate for answers youre fine the way you are.’

- and a friendship is born

- petra venj leaves the tower.

- a fireteam takes on the vault of glass, and avia is only slightly disappointed she wasnt there

- avia spends a lot of time with scarlet and by extension lots of other warlocks too. she becomes a running joke to the vanguard mentors that she chose the wrong class.

- so scarlet and eden met after twilight gap, they both helped build the wall and they became really close buddies. scarlet tells eden that she may have finally found a hunter for their fireteam and eden is so. excited.

- eris morn returns from the moon, and avia sees this funny little warlock awoken talking with her all. the damn. time.

- eden and avia meet, and avia is overwhelmed. she thinks that eden must be a new guardian and doesnt care to ask anything about her and wonders how the hell her and scarlet of all people are so close

- she doesnt really give the friendship a chance (although eden is patient and knows avias type all too well) until zavala asks eden to do routine sweeps of earth and the moon to make sure these blades of crota are kept at bay

- of course, eden drags avia along with her and it takes a wayward mention of building the wall for avia to get off her damn high horse and start taking eden seriously

- they dont really take part in the dark below campaign, just keep on top of the rise in hive activity whilst scarlet talks to ikora and eris and studies the hive at the tower, in the middle of one of her ‘not leaving the tower’ phases that eden tells avia about

- which causes avia to a) worry about scarlet and b) begin to realise shes starting to care for people

- emotions are weird you guys

- avia starts to ask eden about the wall, twilight gap, everything that came before she got to the tower. eden answers all her questions with a raw truthfulness, although she doesnt know the specifics and laughs that scarlet would be better to go to for the history of the guardians and such, but avia is just fine with what eden tells her

- and avia tells eden about her past, about dying but still remembering everything and petra. eden is very chill and happy for avia that shes somewhere better now, that shes trying to be better.

- yay now avia has TWO whole friends. they become an official fireteam and eden is far too excited about it.

- avia starts seeing that funny little awoken warlock less and less, and asks scarlet about him. she knows hes gone missing but kind of shrugs it off as a thing that warlocks do. avia says if scarlet ever does that avia will Hunt Her Down. scarlet just laughs.

- (she says this in earshot of ikora)

- crota is killed. again, avia wanted to be there. she needs more friends

- avia basically sticks like glue to scarlet and eden, kind of refusing to run strikes and missions with any other guardians which is a problem

- avia meets carver and cornelia through eden and scarlet but is still really prickly. her fireteam are at their wits end.

- ikora straight up forces avia on a mission with another warlock, and of course its the funny one who went missing a while back

- she sees something in ikoras eyes when they meet for the first time but knows better than to question it

- this. kid. is. a. handful.

- their mission is something hive related, a big risk on ikoras part but avia guides them through safely.

- ‘ooh a hive thing!’ ‘do we need to know about the hive thing?’ ‘no, but I-’ ‘then lets move on grier.’ ‘but-’ ‘now.’

- ‘youre mean, avia.’ ‘im also keeping us alive.’ ‘you dont have to be mean about it.’

- ‘fine, i will stop being mean if you start doing what i tell you to. deal?’

- idk i kind of imagine grier latching onto avia for reasons that i cant explain bc grier isnt my character but hes basically exactly what avia needs at this point in her life, a funny little warlock who gets under her skin.

- she massively underestimates him, reminding her of what she did with eden so she loosens up and gives him a chance.

- they run more missions and strikes together. she asks questions about his gun, his attire, why he likes the hive so damn much.

- he tells her about toland and the hive, and the weapons of sorrow whilst explaining bad juju. she makes a mental note to keep an eye on him whenever he uses it (and somewhere ikora smiles gently to herself. it scares cayde.)

- she tells him about the journals she found in the wild and he just :oooooooo asks a lot of questions about where and what was in them and what that could infer

- ‘wait avia, i thought you didnt care about hive stuff?’ ‘what? no, i just... dont like getting off track during missions.’ ‘oh. then does that mean you also actually like me and arent mean to me cause you dont?’

- she begins to find him quite endearing.

- he gets them out of a lot of jams during missions just from his practical know-how and shes impressed too.

- also asks a lot of questions about his sunsinger abilities and esp reviving himself. shes only ever seen scarlet be a voidwalker so sunsinger amazes her endlessly. she sees grier as a lot more powerful than he sees himself, and again, its totally endearing to her.

- he introduces her to rook and eve. avia steers clear of rook at first, even though she finds him handsome straight off the bat.

- they play a few iron banner matches together, a mixture of griers fireteam, hers and carver and cornelia. avia starts to develop a crush after realising how laid back and relaxed rook is.

- also how freaking good at crucible he is.

- he’s really easy to be around, she can be herself around him, around another hunter which is something she never thought she’d have. i imagine that means they talk about their class a lot seeing as avia never really did that with anyone else, or really cayde for that matter. it helps to get an insight into what being a hunter is all about from a guy who doesnt take it so seriously.

- the flirting starts, playful and nothing serious and we allllllll knowwwww where that leads to

- then the wolves revolt.

- before the tower even find out, she receives a message from petra, apologising. asking her questions about being a guardian, how she is. avia ignores it, the first of many.

- she Refuses to get involved.

- not even scarlet and eden can convince her. or ikora. or cayde.

- but grier comes back from the reef one day and looks really dejected and hurt and avia is just. who hurt you. what happened. and he explains that none of the awoken at the reef like him??? he thinks a couple of them looked at him weird he couldnt tell it was all confusing and avia kind of sighs and. explains some things.

- she tells him that she used to be Awoken and that she knew petra and basically tells him everything about her past whilst explaining that the Awoken have a very high opinion of themselves - they go back to the reef together, but she still doesnt want to get involved in the uprising.

- she goes and patches things tentatively with petra another day. its a case of avia explaining how she became a guardian and petra explaining why she was forced to become an emissary after accidentally killing a team of guardians. its an amicable, but strained relationship. they basically realise that they were never friends, just competitors. theyre both happier where they are now.

- avia grows closer to grier to the point where they’re inseparable, she flirts with rook, runs missions and strikes with her fireteam and really starts to come into her own as a guardian

- she runs a lot of prison of elders with cornelia and carver and grows closer to them too, eventually apologising for being a little standoffish when they first met

- now avia has SO MANY FRIENDS and gets really emotional whenever she thinks about it

and then taken king and rise of iron happen and they deserve posts of themselves tbh but!!! avias D1 experience!!! i love this kid so much
