When we pull into Chan’s designated parking spot I’m so nervous I could puke. 

“Hey,” Chan says, gently putting a hand on my knee to stop its bouncing. “They’ll all love you just as much as I do. But if you still want to go home I’ll drive you ‘kay?”

“No, I want to meet them.” I force out of my mouth. He just nods and we both get out of the car and begin to walk towards the door. When he opens it, the first thing I notice is the smell of freshly baked brownies. Then, I hear yelling and laughing coming from the living room.

“YOU landed on MY property. PAY ME THE DANG FINE.” 

Then I fear another voice scream

“YOU’RE IN JAIL! I’M NOT GIVING MONEY TO A CRIMINAL.”

All of this over a game of monopoly? 

“Boys” I mutter with a playful roll of my eyes. “I know right” Chan responds with a small smile.

Chan leads me to the living room. “Hey guys” he greets the six men casually.

“Hey Chan hyung.” one with mid length dark hair and glasses responds. “Who’s that?” he asks, pointing to me.

“This is Y/n. She’s a good friend of mine and older than half of you so show some manners and introduce yourselves.”

There is a pause, a moment of silence, and for a second I regret saying anything.

“Uh yea, I’m Han Jisung. How did you know my name?”

“Chan talks about you gusy all the time. I just assumed it was you because you were the only one missing. I’m Y/n''

oh my gosh, oh my gosh, oh my gosh there is no way HAN JISUNG the man who is (partially) responsible for my villain backstory is the eighth member of Chan’s band

“I’m gonna run to the bathroom real quick” I say, trying to excuse myself from the source of my impending panic attack. I speed walk to Chan’s bathroom and lock the door behind me. Once I get the feeling that I’m safe, I slide my back down the door and sit on the floor, bringing my knees to my chest and burying my head between them. Then I try to regulate my breathing before I start hyperventilating.

Breath in, one two three, breath out. Breath in, one two three, breath out

I repeat it over anad over again until my breathing is as regulated as it is going to get. Then, I get up and fix my mascara and blot away the bits that escaped with my tears.

I walk out of the bathroom and find Chan alone in the kitchen. “Hey Chan, I’m feeling kind of sick so I think I’m going to head home.” 

“Are you okay? You were fine when we were at lunch.” he looked concerned. Great, now I feel bad for lying

“I just got really bad cramps out of nowhere. And you know I get crabby wehen I don’t feel very well.” I try to end the conversation quickly so he doesn’t catch me lying. “Oh, I didn’t know you were on your period. I would have just brought lunch to your place. Let me go get my keys so I can get you home, kay?” 

My period? Ohhhh, he thinks I’m on my period. Thank God he thought I was on my dperiod because I hadn’t thought that far into my lie. While celebrating that little victory, Han walks into the kitchen. 

“Oh hey. I saw you were looking sick and I wanted to come check up on you” he said while grabbing a soda from the fridge. “Yea I just have really bad cramps.” I lied again.

“That sucks,” he started, taking a sip of his fanta. “Hey, I was just wondering if you went to Fairview High School. You kinda look like this girl I used to hang out with.”

“Uh yeah, I went there. I thought I knew you from somewhere but I couldn’t tell.” I responded. ‘A girl I used to hang out with’ huh. Was I really the only one that was thinking about our relationship for the past seven years. Not gonna lie, that kind of hurt. Because up to a couple moments ago I thought very highly of Han, I still considered him a friend. Because he had been my only friend for so long, I sort of held hope that he would be my friend forever. But I was too naive, I should have known he would forget me. I mean, I’m not that memorable; but I thought I would at least be more than a girl he ‘used to hang out with.’

Not a moment later, Chan comes back into the kitchen with my shoes. “Oh, hey Han. The kids are waiting for you so they can start a new game of uno.”

“Ok. Nice catching up with you Y/N.” I mustered the nicest smile I could at the moment and responded with a bitter ‘you too’ before moving to hop off the counter to put on my shoes. 

Chan holds me down by my knees and kneels down to lace up my converse himself. “What were you guys talking about?” he asked after tying the first shoe. “We used to go to the same highschool.”

“Cool, were you guys friends?” Chan asks, now finished with tying both shoes. “I thought so” I mumble, mostly to myself.

When the jabberwalker attacked the market, Blake and Yang ran off, but Weiss stopped to look for her and went to grab her. Thats such like a specific little detail crwby added. They didn't need to do that there was no reason for them to add that in but they did bc it shows how much Weiss cares about Ruby.

Weiss being the one to understand Ruby when she ran off. Honestly that was very mature of her and I'm so proud of u bby ur so sweet. You and felix was dating for 4 years, almost from the time he just debut.Felix is always in his work, so you didn't really get a lot from him.

I really don't think I needed to derail my disjointed analysis (that I was upfront about not being fully articulated from the start!!) where the core thesis was "Many traumatized trans men were taken advantage of by transmed spaces" to delve into an analysis on transmisogyny and the transmed -> TERF pipeline. That's really not my place nor was the point of the post to talk about the transmed to TERF pipeline in any capacity. The point of the post was to talk about the other outcome of guys, similar to myself, who realized their issues was actually their trauma and got the fuck out.

I mentioned that transmedicalism often aligns itself with TERF ideology and conservatism to make it clear that I was not defending transmedicalism. That doesn't mean I need to explain TERF ideology or conservatism. I figured the audience of Tumblr users who would see the post would generally know those things already.

There was also an example about my own experience as well, but that was also not a grand sweeping statement about the transmed to TERF pipeline. It was just a statement about my own experience which was not worth a deep analysis because it would've distracted from my main point. Like, I knew a total of 2 people out of my personal 10~ish member friend group at the time that detransitioned and became TERFs over four years ago - that's not "a bunch of transmed trans mascs becoming TERFs" that's me saying "Hey some people I knew did this and were part of this pipeline, and also some people I knew did what I did and got out because they realized it was trauma and community seeking that got them into transmedicalism and I'm talking about that experience right now."

To use your own language in response to you anon, telling trans mascs to go into deep dives about transmisogyny when their posts are explicitly not about transmisogyny does you no good and makes us not take you seriously. It is actually normal for people to not have to get into every single aspect of an issue if it distracts from their main thesis. That's usually called digressing and is something taught against in early writing classes because it can weaken your points (which - Tumblr posts where OP is collecting their thoughts with the intention of fleshing them out later shouldn't be beholden to but that's neither here nor there!). To be honest some people don't understand the importance of some things. How can one say they are a fair person and then, when other lie, they stay with mouth shut?

Well this don't mean nothing to you, but it means to me. I was her friend for almost 5 months. It also means to some of my followers, and I feel like I am in the place to guide them now.

Some people think we have to ignore 'drama'. Drama for me is when a person has a fight with other, a personal silly thing. Now, when someone lie (or someone faked being them) to others, is it a drama? No. It's a big problem with people that were affected. You are there looking only at your belly. What about those who were affected? By deciding not to enter this topic I would be invalidating not only me but the ones who wants my guidence.

The point is: If we don't denunciate and point the mean people we are validating them. And then more of them come.

We let Kira ask how much money she wanted and we stayed in silence, then Thalia showed up and we stayed in silence. How many people suffered, uh? Because I had to help like 20 different people who were betrayed. But you know how people bought from them? More than 300 different people bought it.

story time because what do you MEAN "that one time I was hit by a car" 😰

LOL... I've been in a car accident 3 times, 2 times while I was driving, and once while I was on my bike, and this was that time...

For what it's worth I only ever get into car accidents when I'm worried someone is mad at me, I think my decision-making processes degrade a lot when a lot of my brainpower is spent on pointless anxiety.

That day I had just gotten some money from the ATM, which is located on one of the corners of a T-intersection like this:

For context: cars drive on the right here (like in the US) and there are no sidewalks for bikes; they always ride on the shoulder alongside scooters and other "slow vehicles".

I get on my bike and I'm planning to go this way, and this isn't best practices but I was not actually ON the crosswalk at the time. The traffic lights were red on the street I was on, and green on the upper part of the T, whose traffic flow I was technically part of if I intended to go that way.

Crucially, there was a street hawker selling douhua. I looked both ways before crossing the street, and saw no oncoming cars. A car, wanting to turn right, saw no pedestrians. This is because the stall was blocking the view of the street.

So they turned thinking nobody was there, and I went ahead and biked thinking nobody would turn, and then I got hit. Thankfully the car wasn't moving too fast since it was turning and DONT DO THIS GUYS I had a phase in my life where I learned about how adding rotational velocity, ie, pressing down on the gas, gave you a more stable turn than a turn at a constant speed, which was obviously more efficient than slowing down to make the same turn. Again do NOT do this gusy what if I'M trying to make an illegal crossing at a not-quite crosswalks?? ? ? ?

but yeah I think the biggest thing I was lucky about wasn't the fact that I didn't get injured, it was the fact that I had my immensely heavy backpack with my laptop ON MY BACK instead of in my bike basket, which would have surely been sent flying on impact and well. my everything is on there and that's not great.

uhh moral of the story... I should make crossings at crosswalks... there should probably be more legislation on where street hawkers can table... uhh don't be mad at me also. oh and I panicked and (sorry cop behavior) just told the guy not to worry and that I was fine and I should have been onthe crosswalk anyways and he kept asking if I wanted his phone number for my medical bills? and I just insisted that I didn't and then biked away. lol. and when I went to the doctor later she was like girlwwhat are you doing. take the phone number every time. demand it even. so yeah also that. oh and calling the police. I didn't know if that was an america thing or if they also do that here but yeah they do. do that also

HI okay first off THANK YOU and here is all my general advice and personal experience:3

when i first created my account i only wrote stuff for omori and basically nothing else, i didn't post my art or anything like that. and then one day i was like what if i posted my drawings and i did and BOOM people liked it so i kept going!!! i've thought about making two separate blogs for art and writing but that would take a lot of effort and it seems complicated because i know a lot of people only follow me for one or the other so idk maybe i will but ANYWAYS

i say just go for it. it was completely on a whim that i made a tumblr account. before i didn't even use tumblr i had one account years ago that i rarely used, i just wondered hey i like content for my fandoms but what if i MADE content for my fandoms and BOOM pineappleciders was born.

i write because i eeally enjoy these fandoms and communities, and requests are so fun to do because i get to show people my observations and opinions of these characters and their personalities!!& all while bringing comfort to people and making them feel heard. so it's a win-win!

i'd suggest taking any of your interests or hobbies and making it into soemthing. like if you're interested in a video game i'd start posting art or writing or an AU or just talking about the game and theories ans stuff!!!

if you like to draw and are thinking about posting your art, PLEASE do NOT let anything affect you!!! there are going to be rude people ans there will be times where you post cringe and a lot of people see it. even if you don't get a lot of followers or notes at first, do not let it drag you down. i started my blog because i wanted to do something that resonates with my special interests and i wanted to share it with people. don't make content FOR people, make content to SHARE with people.

if you want advice about how to get more followers or likes and stuff, all i can say is just do what makes you happy. i've never really been in a situation where i've felt i have to get more likes on this one post or i need more followers or anything like that, because i post for those 2 people who immediately like the post .4 seconds after i post it. i post for the people who like my interests just as much as i do, and most importantly i post because it makes me happy!!!

moral of the story is find the community that you want to be in and start there. give yourself a pfp of a character from a fandom or make your blog all pretty or relate it to a fandom or whatever, the point is to just do what makes you happy and post what you want to post!!!

i have about 1,800 followers, and i still remember getting happy over 10 and 50 fillowers. i'm so glad that people like my content, and i hope i can keep sharing it with you gusy. also remember to take care of yourself and don't pressure yourself into working overtime, you always come first. also never be sad if you don't have a lot of followers!!! literally 10 people is a lot. 20 people is a lot. 2K PEOPEL IS A LOT. if u think about it like all of them r in one room looking at you or your post and liking it then THAT IS A LOT. be proud of your milestones!!!!

idk if any of that made sense but basically if you're looking for likes and shit go to tiktok or instagram. if u want to share love and content wiht a community because creating is something you enjoy and you want to share it with others use tumblr. it's all about making a blog for something you enjoy and utilizing . basically if u also want a place to freak out about yoru interests and have others freak iut about them too then tumblr is the place. i've found that i can post the weirdest shit and only lose a few follwkers. pretty based tbh

You're getting dogpiled because you made 2 call-out posts proclaiming you're "concern for Mark's well-being" while trashing his comics, that aren't even canon, because it's your PERSONAL OPINION that his comics are bad. you got it into your head that if your unnecessary posts got enough notes, then Mark would feel pressured to take a break from an activity he enjoys and shares with the fandom, FOR FREE, just so he come back with "better" comics.
