When a civilisation falls to ruin, Chron Knight appears there to save what they can. They scour the planet for centres of knowledge - libraries, universities, temples, museums, and private collections.

And then they take it all.

To accomplish this, they use an Ancient relic from their vast collection - the Dimensional Scepter. See, Chron Knight is a bit of a hermit - they make their home in a pocket dimension within Another Dimension, and they rarely ever receive any guests there. It's a difficult-to-reach place, even if you know of its existence - which not many people do.

This pocket dimension of theirs contains The Archive - an endless space that is filled with countless floating doorways; portals to even more pocket dimensions, folding further into themselves infinitely. This is where Chron deposits the buildings, objects and spaces they have taken, each in their own little dimension, held in an eternal stasis to prevent any further decay.

Here, over the course of eons, Chron Knight has gathered the history and knowledge of the known universe, to save it from being lost and forgotten forever. It's their life's work.

Here, they spend eternity studying the books and relics they've stolen from the brink of oblivion, a task that would surely be impossible given the sheer quantity of knowledge they've gathered - but their own time manipulation magic makes it possible. They could spend months holed up inside a single pocket dimension as they decipher lost languages, study forgotten cultures and learn about technology that no one will ever use again, but thanks to their magic, only seconds will have passed outside of their magic field.

They commit it all to memory, to carry that knowledge into the future. Even as eons pass and not even a mote of dust remains of the planets they once visited, Chron has made it their mission to remember them - all those people and places and civilisations that have long been lost to history.

They mostly observe and witness from afar, and rarely interfere - but they will remember, when no one else is left who could.

Okay so with the game releasing recently, I gotta say I absolutely love it. I've been following the forum for awhile and out of every other IF, the passenger was my most hyped up one. This just scratches a specific niché itch of mine, sometimes you don't want to play the human in the supernatural romance dynamic, yeah being a monster fucker is cool and all, but what if I WANT to be the indescribable lovecraftian horror in the dynamic huh???? And the passenger solves said specific itch.

Anyway I just wanted to say that your game was the first IF I found, sometime around it first demo release, so it was practically like opening door to these games, and I will thankful for that.
