Luffy took ONE look at loid and internally went 'oh sweet. He's a spy like sabo' and never brings it up while anya just stares at him horrified and like with ace and sabo, he just never brings it up.

This also happens with yor and anya makes a funny noise

I think loid’s a good enough actor that luffy wouldn’t figure it out immeditely from like just a few seconds of meeting him but give him a minute or a few and he’ll figure it out on vibes alone

Listen, I know it's not really possible because even though Operation Ostrix is supposed to be a long-term mission it realistically should be taken care of in a few months, but.

I just think that it'd be funny if when Damian's 14-15, after almost a decade of tsundere pining, he finally gets his shit together and asks Anya out. So when Anya later tells Twilight that she's dating Sy-on Boy he's like FUCK YEAH because he didn't expect Plan B to go this well, this is the best possible excuse to get invited to the Desmonds' house????

Also the fact that at the beginning of season 6 she was all buddy-buddy with him and then randomly started behaving like an asshole makes no! damn! sense!

As a side note: this rant isn't about me being upset on spike's behalf because he bewitched me body and soul in fact it's not about him at all. It's about me not understanding Buffy and her motives because the writing is kind of strange and silly. It doesn’t really match her character development imo? I feel like at this point she should be a bit more mature🤷‍♀️

(I know this probably isn't logical and wouldn't work because Anya is a mind reader but I have to get it out of my system, bear with me)

Fanfic idea for the far future in which Anya (having been in a relationship with Damian for a while) finally confesses that she tried to befriend him for her selfish ends at first, that she fell in love hard for him and that she understands if he's angry at doesn't want anything to do with her anymore, stuff like that.

Then Damian ask her if she truly loves him and she says yes with her full heart and then says cool, then there's no problem.

She was shocked and ask why and then he goes.

"I found out years ago, I was angry at first but I couldn't stop loving you no matter what I tried...so I thought the best revenge was making you fall in love with me as hard as you made me fall for you...and I did it"

Anya just stares with her mouth agape and she goes "...You're so evil"

"And you love me too" Said Damian smiling.

Anya laughs "Yeah...I love you too Sy-on Boy!"
