remember how i said once ace exclus were bored they’d attack the next “acceptable” minority, possibly advancing it against trans people. Lmao I’ve never been more right in my life. All these anti trans men people literally be out here saying trans men don’t face oppression, and therefor shouldn’t have access to trans spaces because we don’t need them. Ace exclus need to answer for what they’ve allowed to happen. Because its *you* who paved the way for this anti trans men movement, its you who allowed people to bully, harass, and stalk queers yall didn’t like. And now those queers are fucking TRANS PEOPLE.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
This one really sounds like “Ace people don’t face prejudice, its misplaced homophobia!”
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
And so many more. Ace Exclus fucking paved the way for this shit.

Out of curiosity- what's the weirdest thing another trans person has told you regarding transhetness?
probably the most offensive one has to be that time someone said i would never have to worry that people wont accept my sexuality. because in my life that has not been the case lmao. like i am still TRANS so generally someone who doesnt accept homosexuality isnt gonna be thrilled with trans ppl either, like those kinds of people who are homophobic but not transphobic really only exist in terfs brains lol
and the least personally offensive one would have to be that one person who said "you cant be straight as a trans person, this push for sameness is really hurting our community" like damn rly didnt think i was gonna get called an assimmilist for like, being a heterosexual lmao my bad
also im not straight passing irl either, but i am cis passing, so whenever i bring up that im dating a girl i get to visibly watch the gears turn in peoples heads as they try to figure out how this little gay boy fucks women which is always fun
i think generally a lot of weirdness i get probably comes from the fact that for one, a lot of people view queerness and gayness as the same, and queerness and heterosexuality as opposites, and especially people in my specific generation (older gen z) and especially the cis people/recently cracked eggs rly have put emphasis on "gayness" and "being gay" and take on "being gay" as the same meaning as being queer, so when they meet someone who is queer but is explicitly NOT gay (and this is more than transhet people, this can be anyone who is queer but doesnt identify as gay, including same gender attracted people of all sorts of sexualities/genders), they really dont know what to do with us, and for two im southern and live in the south and people here are not usually very imformed about different flavors of queerness and for some people im lucky if i get them to understand that im trans at all, let alone telling them im a heterosexual, because im not exaggerating when i tell you that pretty much everyone expects me to be gay no matter the fact that i have a girlfriend and havent dated a man since 2021 lol
and heres a photo of me close up if that helps you understand why everyone thinks im gay (i really dont get it myself but)

it’s still so sad when trans guys are like “transandrophobia is real, i lost my support systems when i started taking T” like i’m sorry baby but that’s just transphobia. they don’t particularly care that it’s a man you’re transing into, it’s the transing at all that makes those people stop being around you. losing friends/etc after transition is not a transmasc-specific experience, it’s a trans-specific experience. i’m not downplaying anyone’s struggles when i say this i’m literally pointing out the systematic oppression you experienced and calling it the correct name

(draft from my main, disclaimer for anyone who sees this: this blog is primarily a porn blog and stupid debating will be ignored or laughed at, you can try it but i dont care)
reading stuff about trans rights (especially in the south) on places like twitter is SO fucking frustrating because SO many people uncritically say "people never judge trans men for not meeting/meeting male stereotypes!!" "conservatives/republicans/gender criticals/etc don't care about trans men, they only hate trans women!" "no one cares if a trans man wants to play sports with cis men!" "trans men dont have their presentation criticized!" etc because that's not fucking true! its not!
trans men have all of that and more thrown at them, we're the forefront of a lot of anti-trans talking points (IRREVERSIBLE DAMAGE: THE TRANSGENDER CRAZE SEDUCING OUR DAUGHTERS. do you remember this? do you realize this is still one of their huge sources?) and our bodies are seen as mutilated and disgusting, often even more than trans women's, because they see us as women, as ruined women, women they dont see as sexually appealing, potential mothers/incubators, and they take it out on us especially violently. i didnt go through DIY conversion therapy from two conservative transphobes (that included straight up illegal shit) in texas/oklahoma to see people online uncritically parroting the idea that trans men/trans masculinity arent just as fucking hated by people like that. fucks sake.

makes a personal post about how insane it is to be harassed over just existing as i guess the wrong gender.
the person telling me i'm painting a "victim narrative" in my notes whilst they prove my point that its impossible to exist on Tumblr unharassed as a trans man, especially once you start calling people on their shit:
ah yes... the victim narrative.. that us not wanting to be called slurs and harassed is transmisogyny but them using slurs and dogpiling complete fucking strangers for not taking it quietly is self respect. yeah. uh-huh.
fastest way to know how you think about trans people and what their gender "really is" socially is to cross-reference whats permissible to some of us and not to others. the narrative that its ok for trans women to bully if they want to and that trans men are "hysterical" for pointing out its fucked up paints a gruesome picture. that random cruelty is rather necessary almost "discipline" and dissent is an inherent unworthiness to ever being allowed your humanity. idk, i'm not organizing my thoughts well and while an academic can do it better i am fkn tired of being clung to by these people. i'm tired of being a target. the only reason you cowardly people act this way online is because you know you will not face real consequences even if you drive someone to suicide.
y'all think anyone acts like this in real life? extremist or not, most are probably not so stupid as to think that behaviour will fly in most of the real world. you are not some sort of freedom fighter for harassing trans men. you are just a spiteful and self loathing bully who is too much of a coward to own up to that behaviour. you're not special, you're not gonna get a gold medal from the fucking radfem platoon. you are just one bully of many who would rather put others down than work on your own problems. someone who acts with the misdirected anger they were always allowed. if your reaction to "you shouldn't harass and bully others" makes you pull out some bullshit statement about trans women you are not only a liar you are fucking smearing my trans sisters who do not want to be involved with your bullshit crusade. who don't have such a weird inferiority-superiority complex to say "because i am the most oppressed in the world that gives me the right to come after anyone i want." i don't think all of these types are like that, some of them just listen to the loudest and most self-assured voices. still the result is the same. you drag both trans people like you and unlike you through the mud for no reason other than a horrible coping mechanism. genuinely just do some drugs if you only like unhealthy coping mechanisms; instead of spouting vitriol at strangers. i have no quarrel with trans women-- in fact many are unfairly judged and some even manipulated into picking sides when there ARE NO sides. trans women are unfairly followed around by this reputation of angry bullies. and thats not her fault for being trans, you know? its the fault of those who want to live the high school mean girl phase forever. the people who genuinely don't give a shit if their supposed only insular community is collateral so long as they can continue to bully. sure, maybe you'll speak out against someone being accused of your beliefs as unfair. and it is unfair. but will you stop and reconsider what your beliefs are doing to those they claim to care about? no. because putting your painful feelings on other people is more important than protecting the few you like or care about. if your hate is more important than your love for the "in-group," you have far beyond lost the ideology game. in fact, its no longer ideology at all. its just being hateful and using ideology as a cover.

Dick or no dick confirmation Pickles was always going to be trans to me anyways; if he's swingin' somethin that's phallo babes, if he's not then his t-dick fat. What's not to get.
#metalocalypse#jay talkin#I'm sorry they wrote that awful gross little man far too likeable and relatable to on a trans level#for me not to hoot and holler and cheer for the trans pickles agenda#changes nothing about his character arc or any of the show anyone is capable of being the kind of person he is#don't make the mistake of thinking thats exclusive to cis men#his transness wouldnt change that#only adds on an extra layer to him that i think works fantastically.#Listen that dude was rejected by his family driven to drink and drugs young to escape that ran away to be in a band#is called fucking Pickles of all things and refuses to tell anyone his real last name;#over the span of four seasons and two movies he slowly starts to learn to be for others what he never had#he becomes more caring more supportive#it's not a stretch to say he undoes some of the toxic masculinity he's been keeping himself shielded behind#and learns how to be a kinder man.#all of which have no contradictions with him being trans!#In fact it doesn't take much extra thought to find ways a lot of this can line up with some trans masculine experiences#i mean. Did no one else have a younger phase where they swung as far as they could into crass rude and uncaring ways#to try and assert their masculinity only to grow and realise that you can be a man and be more caring.#Did no one else have father issues. 1 800 come on now i know those are both shared experiences a lot of us have had LOL.#at the end of the day this show aired nearly 20 years ago and is finished. we're not getting more of it#so nothing is altered nor changed if pickles is canonically trans or not ok. its fine#i mean hell i dont even need canon confirmation hes trans to me and thats all i care abt#but i think if yr getting suuuuuper weird abt needing him not to be canonically trans you have some issues#and bio essentialist ideals of gender if you think only a cis man can act like he does#again. anyone can be like that. its not exclusive. him being trans would not change him in any way shape or form lol#AND ALSO GODDDUUUGH for once i love getting to see a guy pushing 50 whos depicted as trans#do you have any idea how dire and barren it is out here. we never get to see a trans guy older than 30 and whos not a pristine model#I WANT MORE OLD SHLUBBY SHITHEAD TRANS GUYS IN MEDIA

This isn’t Johnny discourse but it is kind of discourse about the discourse about him balding (which he isn’t).
What would it matter if he took off his hat and he was a shining beacon?? The dude canonically fucks (well not canon-canon but I feel like there’s implications of fucks-ing)!! At the most, he would be a Pitbull reference and that would be cool because good for Daisuke. Listen to Timber by Ke$ha (feat. Pitbull).
It kind of felt like they were making jokes at the expense of people loosing hair. It’s like that thing where you shouldn’t make fun of people for ‘X’ because then your friends who ‘X’ will know you think that about them.
John E is cool. I think he’s lame but he’s cool.
-A concerned Jellyfish Pirate
Idk anything about Pitbull, to be honest, but my GOD does he look like he's having the time of his life in the Timber video hahah Been a while since I heard that song...
Anyway, Johnny totally fucks. There's no way a man that toned, running around shirtless all of the time, with that slight yeehaw accent, couldn't find someone DTF with the tiniest bit of effort. He's absolutely gettin it rofl He could still get it if he was bald too, or receding.
I've complained about it on here a bit already, but yeah I don't think people making fun of Johnny because they think he's losing hair realize that a lot of people in real life are going to lose their hair as they age, and their jokes at Johnny are also jokes at these people. It's not even just an issue cis men can have either, everyone's hair thins with age, some just more (and sooner) than others. To make fun of someone, fictional or otherwise, for losing their hair is digging a trench to fill with future self loathing at one's own hair loss. And hair loss in >2023 isn't even that bad anymore!! There are so many ways to manage and style it now.
Johnny's a babe. Big fan of his "dad trying too hard to be cool but is actually somehow still really cool despite that" energy

today i had this Vivid memory flash through my mind of kissing my ex boyfriend (this was like 2018) and i felt so viscerally fucking revolted and I gotta say. it is truly impressive that I didn’t realise I’m a lesbian sooner than fucking half a year ago
#z talks#like the misidentifying as ace was Inevitable i think. that was due to repression that realising i didnt like men would not have fixed#(context: id’d as bi ace like. i wanna say 2016/17-2021/22 sometime and then went into ace and Questioning)#remember the time i really solidly settled on being aro because ‘romance has never not felt like a chore and putting on a facade’#babe no thats because your most recent and also singular long term relationship was with a Man#and thats the only one youre looking back on#its so funny how i dated a guy and it was so thoroughly Meh that i just didnt feel like pursuing anything romantic for a very long time#(A REACTION I HAD NOT HAD AFTER MY PREVIOUS RELATIONSHIPS WITH GIRLS)#And DIDN’T somehow consider that maybe I just Didn’t Like Guys#its nothing i grieve or feel sad about dw its honestly mostly funny to look back on#no wrongs were committed and i dont hold a grudge against the guy it was just me being confused and compheted#(…which is also a weird word to apply because at the time i identified and was out to my friends as a trans guy Binary.#This Was Also Wrong.)#was a weird time man. a truly weird time#anyway. all is well i have now been on 2 dates with a really cute girl and she gave me tulips <3#as part of a Care Delivery bc i had a Migraine and No Painkillers Or Snacks#get well flowers <333333#and now i dream of kissing her under the moonlight#With the uh. Hornetposting lately it May seem unlikely but yes I DO interact with real women! Romantically!#They coexist Wonderfully <3#Anyway. I’m gonna go to bed#Realising that im a lesbian solved all my identity problems including my fucking gender which is just fantastic#I am very happy and whenever I think of being a lesbian it grounds me to reality a little bit stronger and i go yeah. Yeah.

If someone says that they want to be called by specific pronouns and a specific name and you don't that is like the basic form of transphobia. Whether a real person or a fictional character. If it is a real person you should just Stop doing that and if it's a fictional character, you really need to ask yourself is it worth it? Is it worth being transphobic just so you can assign someone or something a gender that they ultimately rejected?

okay i get it but i also think its important to acknowledge that there is a difference between knowing from an audience standpoint that a character should be queer VS it firmly being acknowledged verbally within the narrative as a solid aspect of that character's identity irrefutably
#this reminds me of keeley jones from ted lasso like i get it shes “always” been bisexual but its so hard to tell if the writer is being#sincere in their representation or not#people joke about queerness bc haha lol look a gay person or look hot super model slept with woman#in keeley's case it was literally a joke intended to shock rebecca like that is not confirmation that is a joke the writer is making#it needs to be said or expressed in a way that is outside of a throwaway haha gotcha joke#the doctor has been kissed by men and kissed men in moments of celebration and theyve been laughed off#hes made comments that the audience is SUPPOSED TO think are jokes. queer audiences just see past that and straight audiences dont#its important that it was not only said but talked about even if it was in passing. it wasnt a punchline or the set up for a joke#donna comments that a man is hot > the doctor agrees enthusiastically that the man was really hot >#they both acknowledge the doctors attraction to men and his openness about it > donna says it was always obvious#its not about creating his queerness its always been there its about finally being in a place to say it out loud#from a narrative standpoint you could say now he's the kind of person who talks openly about his attraction and feelings#from an audience standpoint i hope we can acknowledge that its bc they couldnt outright say he was bisexual/lesbian/queer/trans/nombinary#now they can#thats the difference i think#doctor who

people really love to conveniently forget trans men exist when they talk about feminism. or if they dont they make us out as also part of the problem as if we somehow are able to have the same amount of privilege as cis men. absolutely wild
#“not all men” is a valid statement because its fucking true#like guys. seriously. not every single man is evil#feminism isnt about putting men down its about raising women up to be equal and getting rid of gender inequality#sorry im seeing a massive uptick in people hating on trans men for being men lately and its fucking stupid#like yall are doing a great job at making me feel ashamed to be a man who likes men. awesome thanks guys#i dont normally make posts like this but its been rattling around in my mind for a few days now#its always put out like. all men (trans or not) are Inherently Evil and all women (trans or not) are Inherently Victims#which is absolutely the stupidest shit ive ever seen#and they also leave out anyone who doesnt fit into the man/woman dichotomy. and if they dont its always seen as woman lite#which is also stupid as fuck#not every nb/agender/other person is feminine asshole#anways. case in point. can we stop demonizing masculinity while also discussing the effects of misogyny and the patriarchy please.#because both of those things are very real and very much do hurt people#but im sick of people lashing out at trans men as if the problem magically doesn't affect us anymore because we are men#because guess what! newsflash! it affects trans AND cis men too!!#i shouldnt have to explain it should be obvious but like. im tired man#sorry ill forever be annoyed at women who just hate every single man who dares breathe in their direction because they COULD be an asshole#if you hate someone because of their gender no matter what gender it is i Do Not Trust You#anyways thanks for coming to my ted talk. replies are off cause i dont want to argue with people i just want to express my opinion

like, I’m not saying don’t watch “Man for a Day” (2012) (on netflix right now), I’d argue it’s important (english rly doesn’t have good words to include gnc cis ppl w their relevant direction of the trans huh uuuuhh) queer and crossdressing afab history, which we don’t get a lot of representation for, I’m just saying be prepared for what you’re going to witness
