yeah i mean i used to be one of them. i maintain i never hated asexuals though

i think it’s wild to look back on because its so painfully clear that those of us being like, SO adamantly against asexuals being included in the queer community simply had no real experience ever and like BADLY needed to go outside

i have a friend at work who is asexual/possibly heteroromantic and i would call her LGBTQ before literally any straight person. i feel comfortable chatting with her about LGBTQ stuff because honestly it doesn’t feel like chatting with a cishet about the same stuff. she just feels like part of the community idk

there is no rulebook literally no one is harmed by ace people wanting to feel included
