Dangantober asks

So, you may or may not have seen, I've been posting Dangaronpa Ghost Photos as a daily october drawing and writing challenge

This is just a collection of asks about them, and I'll be posting a little breakdown of my thought process behind each character tomorrow

But first, the most pressing question:

I'm afraid not, it's just gonna be THH and SDR2 but I do appreciate the enthusiasm👍! I'll be honest, I kinda ran dry on the ideas front. It might be different if I'd planned it all out in advance, but since v3 isn't a direct sequel, it doesn't slot in as neatly with the prev 2 games. I'd have had to do a lot more juggling to fit it in and I hate to admit it, but I was already starting to repeat myself a little bit. There's always next year tho perhaps...

Fair point, Well we know what happens when you break ALL of them, But if you break a few all at once I think it'd the first option. They won't come for you at the exact same time though, the haunts cascade, one after the other depending on when you broke the rule, and how fast the ghost haunts you.

I did try to make most of the rules things that'd probably get you in trouble anyway if you were caught, but there's gonna be that one unlucky fecker who accidentally throws a new pen away and gets their ass ghost stalked by Nagito, no idea of what's going on.

@cat0901h3 Originally I was going to include a bit with Makoto as the headteacher The idea was that Junko lured you into the headteacher's office to kill you THERE, essentially framing Makoto, and starting up her whole campaign of despair again. I decided to leave it more ambiguous instead like the ending of THH, and have Junko be your unreliable narrator instead

Course this au crumbles a little if you look too hard since the sdr2 lot are actually dead and not in a simulation (and I did not plan this lol) I like to think of it like a Battle Royale situation. Junko set up the killing games but it never got outside Hope's Peak, it was kept under wraps. there wasn't an actual apocalypse.

In this scenario I do see Makoto as the headteacher, he'd probably know about the hauntings, hence why there are school policies in place that match the 'rules', I figure Hiro helps out a fair bunch working out the haunting parameters, they're trying to help their friends rest in peace.

@emberz7 AH!! Thanks so so much! I'm blown away to hear that folk were actually spooked! A little creepy vibe was definitely was I was going for I think I like Chiaki's picture the most, I just really like how it came out with the screenshot vibe. In terms of story, honestly Sayaka's it was the one that inspired me to start the whole thing, and at the beginning it was the only one I had! I think it's also the most robust in terms of flow, it feels like an actual ghost story someone might tell.

Kuroko Tetsuya

Inside of this headcanon, even though Kuroko doesn't seem like it. He would love all of your books even though your books have a horror or crime genre.

The first time he knows that you are working as an author of horror and crime fiction. He was surprised but not in a bad way. He was rather surprised because he did not expect that from you.

However, after that surprised reaction was thrown away. I can see that he is very proud of you and he would be very supportive to you to become an even bigger author.

I believe that Kuroko likes to read any kind of book even though it is not mentioned in the wiki or in any canon. However, I do not think that he likes horror.

I believe Kuroko would prefer your crime fiction books to horror books. I just believe that he is slightly squeamish if he had to read a gore part and the part where there's a jumpscare (or some kind of paranoid sensation after reading the book.)

I believe he enjoys crime fiction books, especially the one that looks like Sherlock Holmes because I do think that he likes to solve the mystery as he read the book.

Kuroko would also gladly help you to make better crime fiction while helping you write the story by giving you some of his suggestions to make the reader even think more to solve the problem inside of the book.

He would also watch all of your crime fiction movies that were adapted from your book. I don't think he would mind if it ended up slightly different but he does wish the movie followed the plot unless if it is too gory then he understand why it was removed.

Opening the front door of the house, a loud creaking sound could be heard along with the sound of sighing in exhaustion, "I'm home..." the person said as his eyes tried to look around his spouse. It was rather strange because usually she/he/they would go home more late than him as he could hear a clicking sound behind the kitchen.

Kuroko was silent for a moment before he closes the door, putting his shoes away, changing it with the house slipper and locked the door. He steps away from the living room as he trudges slowly, following the sound of the typing. His hands grab the knob of the door before he twists it open to see you on your computer.

"(Y/N)-san? I thought you will stay in the office," Kuroko asks, not expecting that you're not in your working place.

"My office room in my working place is under repair with the employee and editor's room too because there are broken water pipes with short circuit . So everyone can work in their house for a few months until everything is fixed," you told him without looking at him in the eyes.

You did not feel his presence getting close to you as Kuroko slightly bent down to see the words in the E-book that you edited. His blue eyes notice the scenes that you just wrote are lacking the elements of codes as you made a secret riddle inside of that page and the reader needs to guess it.

The gear in his head slowly moving around until an idea popped out, "(Y/N)-san. Don't you think the detective would figured it out immediately the almond scent is from the cyanide? I think you can use the ice cube trick as the killer killer his victim," he pointed out.

"Oh yeah, thanks sweetheart for telling me," You turn around to peck his cheeks.

Even though his face was as blank as a paper sheet, there were pink tints on his cheeks after he received a kiss from you. He's glad that he married you even though many people fear you for working as a crime and mystery author.

Akashi Seijuurou

Inside of this headcanon, I believe that Akashi Seijuro is a book lover. Not as much as Mayuzumi but he still enjoys them nonetheless. Even if the book is non-fiction or fiction.

I do believe Akashi is not too surprised when he knows that you are one of the most popular authors in the country or in the town. Akashi is very observant.

When I said observant, he would notice that you would often invite your editor to your house as he listen to your conversation with them.

He would also notice your style of writing where he can point out the distinction between your writing style with the other authors from your books.

Akashi likes your books, both Horror and the crime fiction. However, he prefers the crime fiction than the horror books that you made.

It's not because he is scared of horror stories because I do believe he is not someone who is easily scared. He rather chooses Crime fiction because he likes to stimulate his brain to think more.

I can see he would also help you write some scenes in the crime fiction story by giving some suggestions and helping you add some riddles inside of the story.

Akashi would also be proud of you for becoming one of the biggest authors and I can see he would show you off to his acquaintances, his friends and his family about you.

Staring at the figure in front of you, it feels like the person in front of you wasn't you even though it was your reflection. They were wearing an amazing gown or suit for the upcoming party that would be soon celebrated together with Akashi and other big figures that you never met before.

This celebration is for your biggest hit in the book titled 'The Deadly Jazz' about the fight between the biggest detective and the biggest mafia in Japan as the book was adapted into one of the biggest and most popular movies in Japan. The book itself was a little bit inspired by Akaashi's life where the father of the mafia always controlled his son.

Taking a deep breath, you closed both of your eyes, shaking your head and trying to remove that ugly thought away since today was supposed to be your happy day. A knock could be heard from outside of the door but you did not hear it at all as you still keep staring at your own reflection.

"(Y/N)-san? Are you ready yet?" he did not receive your answer.

"....(Y/N)-san?" He calls your name once again

Akashi decides to hold the knob of the door before twisting it open and pushing the door away. His red eyes glance at you, standing there with a frown on your face. The frown on your face clearly told him that you don't feel that you're beautiful even though the clothing that you wear right now is hugging every inch of the curve of your body and showing your ethereal beauty.

Akashi walks up on you, wraps his arms around you before he pull you close to his chest, "(Y/N)-san. Do you feel you are not beautiful/handsome enough?"

"...Yes," You mutter.

"...Do not be sad, my darling. You are the most attractive person in her. You are also one of the greatest author in this country, and you are the dearest person in here. You are perfect," he kisses the temple and the crown of your head.

"..Stop trying to flatter me, Akaashi-kun. You're making me embarrassed," you looked away with a red face.

"I am not trying to flatter you, (Y/N). I am just stating the fact that you should love yourself," His lips curved into a tiny smile before he hugs you closer.

Hanamiya Makoto

It is canon that in his free time when he is not practising basketball, his hobby is reading books and because of that. I believe that he enjoys horror, crime fiction, thriller, mystery, or any kind of heavy novel books.

Hanamiya loves the type of book that also can stimulate his brain so it was no wonder that he can be one of the most tricky basketball players in KnB.

Unlike Kuroko and Akashi, he is not someone who expresses love and affection even though the person is close to him. Because of that, he wouldn't be directly says he likes your book directly to your face.

You have to be observant to notice that he likes your book and is secretly proud because I see he does enjoy your crime fiction and horror novellas.

He would not directly say that your book is good like Akashi and Kuroko. Because I said you have to be observant, the reason is that there would be some expressions from him that accidentally escape as he read some scenes that he finds it's good.

He doesn't help you like Akashi and Kuroko by giving you a direct suggestion. His suggestion to make your story would be rather indirect and you have to figure it out.

Hanamiya would also make fun of you if he finds some of the scenes of the story in your book do not make sense or if he thinks certain scenes are stupid and need to be revised.

However, I do think he would kind of help you if you ask him for his help to make a gore scene in your book but yes, he would make fun of you in the first time before he helps you out.

The ticking sound of the alarm clock on the nightstand along with the sound of the typing from the screen in front of your eyes keeps teasing you. As if those things are teasing you with the upcoming deadline and reminding the sound of your grumpy editor. As an author it is required that you have a creative mind.

However, it is getting difficult for you to even think of an idea for your horror story that you are going to publish soon. It stresses you off, almost all of your ideas to make the next scene in chapter five are not scary enough to make the reader realize the fear that she would install inside of them.

"No....that torture idea is not scary enough," you whisper to yourself, shaking your head and deleting the paragraphs before you revised all of the words.

"Tch, what the hell are you doing. You look like Sadako from the movie ring, maybe you would even be the next ghost in that movie" a familiar voice commented on your stressed state.

Across from the bedroom with the door wide open, you see Hanamiya giving you a scrutinizing look, judging your miserable state with dishevelled hair, bags under your eyes, dried skin and blood-shot eyes. He was right, you look horrible with your state after stressing more than an hour just to create a scary scene.

"What's it to you?" you roll your eyes at his comment.

"Haha, did I hurt your feeling?" His eyes squinted a little bit with a mocking smile.

"Whatever, just help me in this book. I need your fucking brain to create a scary scene," you sent a glare at him.

"Nahhh, Do it on your own," he walks to the bathroom sink, cleaning his face to wash the dirt and oil away from his face. Knowing him, you didn't put his words into your heart as you roll your eyes once again before continue typing your story down.

Soon enough, there was a tiny shift next to you. You don't need to look at your right side, knowing it is your husband Hanamiya. However, what he did surprises you a lot. Nonetheless, you appreciated his comment.

"Isn't the victim have a large built? It's better if the killer uses The Iron Maiden for the victim, their blood and gut spilt more rather than just using a giant swinging axe," his eyes glances at the pharagraph.

"....Yeah, I just realized that. Thanks, McEyebrows," you look at him, giving a tiny peck on his jaw.

"Tch, just continue writing, moron." he clicked his tongue, shoving you away but not hard enough to make you fall from your bed.

Generation au: I take the adults and make them teenagers on a funky little adventure! I do actually like taking the pre-existing characters and shoving them back into the mold of the real ones to see what sticks and what changes. Like girl I'm serious Makoto is DEAD

RAINCODE SICKFIC FINALE (SPOILERS)

My awaited finale to my RainCode Sickfics of the Heart Series is finally done at last!! This took me a couple of months to put together but I figured since I mentioned it months before and delayed it, I had to get it done as my next project. It's the MakoYuma sickfic where Yuma takes care of a seriously ill Makoto.

This fanfic is officially my longest RainCode fic to date, even beating HIWTHI's word length, so make sure to read it only if you have time! It's the final sequel to that fic as well.

Be Warned: This fic is on the angsty/extreme side with a few trigger warnings. Such as Vomiting, Psychological Trauma and Implied Suicide. Please take caution/care if you read!

Also yes! This is the second commission I received from FTAngel! (if I'm gonna commission someone for official looking work, then I'll ask for both my targets getting cared for hehe :3) This illustrates a scene toward the end of Chapter 7 (the fic will feature it as well)

Your art and thoughts of Makoto's past as a test subject were very helpful fodder to make this fic super angsty and tie to how much this poor thing has likely suffered. Helped me write down some good dialogue for the hallucinations and freakouts in the delirium stage. So Thank you for that!

Your small fic where Makoto age regresses when he got stressed gave me some good thoughts for writing Makoto's delirious behavior. Although I'm not a huge fan of age regression, reducing Makoto to a vulnerable and needy child-like state when super ill was a lot of fun! I love the idea of him being reduced to that since he never could be a child (and he is 3 freaking years old lmao)

Having a picture in my head of what a vulnerable Makoto looked like was such an inspiration boost so thank you for taking the time to make those edits! The Camera glitched.

"Is that Fucking On?" asked an annoyed voice

"N-No. It's not." Replied an another voice.

"YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME?!"

You can hear a hitting noise and a moaning. You can also hear a laughing.

"Stop hitting me!"

"You Fucking like being hit you Shitty Wizard!"

The Camera is now on and you can see a man in front of you. The man laughed.

"How desperately unfortunate. I forgot the fucking popcorn. Upupu!"

The man looked at the Camera and noticed that the camera is on.

"Oh, hello there. My Little Mice. I'm Makoto Naegi, I was the Ultimate Lucky Student or whatever. But now I don't care about that shitty title anymore. Think of me as a Ultimate Despair. Upupu."

A woman approached herself with a big smile. With a little attention you can feel that there's something wrong with her...

"... Hello, there! I am Kanade Otonokoji and I am the Ultimate Guitarist. I am sooooo pleased to meet you! Ufufu!"

A man looked at you and laughed.

"I am Mikako Sannoji, the Ultimate Wizard. Nice to meet you. Ufufu."

Suddenly, there's an explosion. And à woman appeared.

"You know who I am? Don't you?"

"I'M JUNKO FUCKING ENOSHIMA! THE ONLY AND ONE DESPAIR GODESS!"

The woman laughed while Kanade looked at her with admiration and love.

Hi Anon, I’m glad you liked my date headcanons!! Since you asked me so nicely, I’ll do them & add the characters to my Masterlist. You didn’t specify gender so I made them gender neutral like last time. Feel free to tell me otherwise and I can edit in pronouns. I hope you’re having a nice day, honey!!

Just a little note: I’m not used to writing Takemi & Sae so if they seem out of character, I sincerely apologise.

{ Sae Niijima }

✧ Although Sae lives a busy life as a prosecutor & caretaker for Makoto, she would definitely find the time for dates with her significant other. However, they must be understanding if it were to ever be cut short or cancelled due to the nature of her job. Dates are few and far between but filled with intimate moments. Time spent with them means the world to her and she would cherish those moments in her heart.

✧ Because of her inherent fixation on keeping a job & being financially stable, Sae struggles with date locations. For the first few, they would have to take the lead in order to acquaint her to typical places. It takes some time but she eventually learns both her own & their preferences.

✧ If they want to go out somewhere, she’ll relectantly agree. Getting dressed up is not that much of a dealbreaker for her, especially when it gives her the chance to compliment their style of dress. Fine dining is a must at the very least, Sae loves to be able to have a casual conversation whilst sipping from a glass of wine. However, due to financial reasons, this does not occur very often.

✧ Sae learns that her favourite type of dates are ones where she doesn’t have to think about work or stress. Sitting on the couch after Makoto has headed up to her bedroom & watching movies on the couch with ice cream is comforting. They can simply slip on casual clothes and although there’s little cuddling, leaning on Sae’s shoulder simply reminds her that there is someone in her corner.

✧ Eventually, they would fall asleep and awaken the next morning in a bedroom with a text on their phone telling them Sae had to leave for work early but did not want to disturb them for they looked so striking, even in casual clothing.

{ Tae Takemi }

✧ Regretably, there are not that many dates with her. Takemi runs a clinic & most likely does not have the most free time. Due to the fact that she is a general practitioner she is more likely to be free. However, this comes with a quid pro quo. She must always keep her phone on in case of an emergency due to her links with Oyamada, which does not happen often but can be disheartening.

✧ When she is called, Takemi will drop the date. They understand that saving the life of others is much more important. However, it is not all storm clouds. Takemi wistfully remarks that the Plague must spread disease elsewhere & promises to make it up to them for next time.

✧ Her approach to dates is rather lax. She would enjoy going somewhere more casual such as Inokashira Park but also wouldn’t be opposed to anything fancier. As long as she is informed about what to wear beforehand, there will be no complaints from her.

✧ Throughout the entire date, her sardonic sense of humour would lighten the mood. Takemi is very good at reading the room when needed. She is also not afraid to use pet names in public { she wears a choker to work, of course she is not!! }.Although not as degrading as ‘Guinea Pig’, they are definitely not sappy & sweet like a traditional lover. Hand holding is held to a minimum but she is daring, pressing a chaste kiss to their forehead at the end of each date.

✧ It may not count as a traditional date but Takemi ensures to have medical checkups with them at least once a month, if not more. Because of her caring nature & love for them, she wants to ensure to herself that her significant other’s health is in correct order. It reassures her, as she is a woman of facts & logic. They are in very capable hands!!
