✦ Somehow, some way, you became his lover! His first partner, may I add, because we all know this boy hasn't been into the romance scene before.

✦ He's still a bit of a tsundere when it comes to showing his care for someone, but when it comes to you, he tries hard to show how much he loves you, in his own little way.

✦ Might ask other people around him on how to treat you right, but will get defensive immediately when they tease him about it. Thinks he's also real subtle about it too.

✦ Walks you home, so no body messes with you. If he's feeling brave, he'll even put an arm 'round your shoulder to let people know that you're his— Not in a possessive way, more like "If you rock their shit, I'll rock yours ten times." wayn

✦ He yells and shouts a lot whenever you do it in public though, but behind closed doors, he's surprisingly calm and just watches you.

✦ Lovingly calls you insulting nicknames because he's just into that 'lovely dovey shit' or as he puts it. And it just feels more natural to his character. He tries though, terribly, but it's the thought that counts.

✦ There are some times where his own insecurities come bubbling up again, afraid that you'll leave him and find someone who's less brash and more gentle... But it goes away when he sees you being so happy around him and all he could focus on is how much his heart is swelling that he felt like it'll explode.

✦ If you ever try to scold him for being careless, he'll complain and brush you off, but will actually start listening to you. Whether by his own will or subconsciously.

✦ At random moments when he suddenly thinks of you, he suddenly turns red and freezes up on the spot. You have that effect on him, even when you're not around.

✦ Whenever you gift him something, he'll probably start at him for a while. He doesn't know how to react when someone gives him something, especially out of love and affection. Would probably have a heart attack on the spot.

✦ All the gifts you give him (actual materials like clothes, accessories, etc.) are kept well and safe. Jewelry? He keeps patting it where he has it hanging on to ensure its still there, takes it off or tucks it inside his clothes when he goes on a fight. Clothes? Might get a little dirty, but will (try) wash it until it's all pristine. If anyone rips it, he'll give them the worst kind of hell.

the school bell rang twice a minute ago, signaling it was time to go home. you could hear your best friend who also your seat mate hurriedly packing up her stuff before bowing to the teacher.

it's not something you can see every day, actually. it's happening because she’s too excited to see her crush. and no, they're not planning to go somewhere, it's just her wanting to give a snack box she made for him. and honestly, you don't know him. you've only heard of him a few times from her and that's all.

actually, there are a lot of guys from different schools who are popular among girls in your school. you don't know much about them since dating someone is not your intention at all for now. so, you don't understand what makes them so desirable.

“help me, please, please, please.” sakura hold your hands while she give her doe eyes.

you look at your best friend's eyes in doubt. “are you sure you want me to give this to him?”

sakura nod her head repeatedly. “yes, please.”

“but what if it makes him thinks that i was the one who liked him?”

“i wrote a note with my name inside and he knows me, don't worry.” she smiles widely.

you exhale heavily. this is going to messed up your study schedule at home and more importantly, you're not into this kind of thing.

she hands you the box. "come on," she says, then pulls your wrist towards the school front gate.

you know how shy sakura can be when it comes to someone she likes. so it's always like this: she does you a favor, and then she asks you to do something for her crush. she already helped you yesterday when your senior asked you out on a date. she diverted his attention for you because she knew you were too uncomfortable to reject him. and now it's your turn to give the snack box she prepared for her crush.

"he will come from that street," she points to the alley next to your school. "that's his way home."

you look down at the box in your hand. "you already know him, it's better if you give it to him yourself," you say.

"but i already helped you yesterday," she pouts, and you roll your eyes in response.

"but how am i supposed to know it's him? i don't even know what he looks like."

sakura thinks for a moment. "i think he wears a red jacket lately. but i'm sure you'll easily recognize him, just give it to the most handsome guy you see. i'll wait here." you bite your inner lip unconsciously.

"go, go," she pushes your back and then hides behind the walls.

you look at the box one more time before heading to the alley. many of your schoolmates also pass through that way, so you start to feel nervous, knowing that someone you know might see you handing over a well-decorated box to a guy and misunderstand the situation.

your feet can't stop tapping as you wait in the alley, some people you know greet you with a confused look. their eyes always land on the box you try to hide against your chest. then, in the fifth minute of your wait, you finally see someone in a red shirt appear at the end of the street, heading your way.

you can feel your heart start pounding as if it would shake your whole body. you can hear people around you murmuring about him with their eyes sparkling. ah, so he is one of the popular guys.

his eyes doesn't meet yours, but somehow you can feel his gaze piercing through you. his blond hair flutters beautifully in the wind as he come closer, both hands in his pockets. he doesn't seem to care about the people frankly looking at him. he looks so calm and accustomed to the situation. you finally understand how attractive he is and why he is popular among your schoolmates.

"excuse me," you manage to voice when he finally in front of you, almost stuttering.

he stops and looks at you, raising his eyebrows.

you hand him the box. "for you," you say, then walk away in a heartbeat, leaving him in utter confusion. You can hear some people gasping at you, making you almost want to sprint back home.

“how was it?” sakura pulls your wrist to the corner when you met her behind the walls.

“you didn't see it?”

she shook her head. “i couldn't, my heart could've exploded.”

"he accepted it," you say then she jumps to hug you.

“thank you!” she exclaims while bowing to you.

the next day, you find yourself being the center of attention since you enter the school gate. the stares aren't a bad thing, but rather filled with amazement, or so you think.

sakura notices it too, and she is also clueless about what's going on until the senior who asked you on a date earlier approaches you during break time.

“i saw you yesterday,” he says languidly. you look at him, confused.

“you have a boyfriend, right?”

ah, so it's about that.

“i didn't expect someone like you to have one, actually,” wait, what?

“i'm sorry.” he continues. well, maybe he didn't intend to offend you, but you somehow feel deeply offended. he didn't expect someone like me to have a boyfriend? what does it even mean?

“yeah, that's fine.” sakura suddenly replied in the most unfriendly tone then pulled your arm to walked away.

“sakura, i'm sorry.” you spoke to her after not denying the prejudice in front of the senior.

sakura nodded. “that's okay.” she smiled. “what do you think about him, by the way? he's so charming, right?”

you tried to keep a poker face. “he's quite attractive.” you replied. a grin appeared on sakura's face. “this is the first time you've called a guy attractive.”

you looked up at the tree. “well, his blond hair quite interesting.”

“his what?” sakura almost yelped.

“his hair…” you whispered as you look at her fearfully.

“IT WAS BLOND???”

you nodded.

“do you think i would ever attracted to someone who's blond?”

you gasped, covering your mouth with your palm. sakura would never fall to a blond guy: she had a traumatic memory with one.

“WHO DID YOU GIVE THE BOX TO, STUPID?”

you put your palms together in front on your face then fell on your knees. “i don't know, sakura, i'm so sorry.” you said, almost crying out loud in guilt.

she clicked his tongue. “how was he looks like?”

“he was blond and quite attractive. some people even stops to see him,” you spoke so quickly. “and he was wearing a red shirt,”

“i said red jacket, not shirt, you dumbass.”

you gasped again. “i'm so sorry, i forgot.” you held her hand, begging for forgiveness.

she sighed. “ah, okay. the thing now is, we need to know who you gave the box to.”

you stood and nodded while pouting. “i'm sorry, really.”

“no, that's okay. maybe it's the time for me to push myself?”

you let out a deep breath. what a relief. you couldn't lose your five year friendship just because of that box, right?

when school was over and you were ready to go home, once again you found yourself at the center of attention. the difference this time was that one of your classmates approached you from outside the school as you neared the front gate.

“tsukasa is waiting for you.”

you furrowed your eyebrows. “tsukasa?”

she nodded.

“tsukasa of oya kou?” sakura gasped.

“yeah, he's your boyfriend, right? he asked me to look for you and sakura.” your classmate added.

your eyes were about to leave its place while sakura's jaw might have dropped if she hadn't held it. your classmate left, but you still couldn't move a muscle.

“so you gave the box to tsukasa?” sakura's laughter filled your ears as your body remain frozen. “no wonder you've got the spotlight, then.” she added.

“i don't know who he is,” you mumbled, eyes blanked. “but why is he looking for me? why?”

“don't worry, he's not like what you're thinking, i think. he used to receiving gifts from the girls but no one has ever dated him. he's not into this sort of thing either.”

“really?”

sakura nodded and guided you to the gate, holding back her laughter at your emotionless face.

“there he is,” she pointed a blond guy across the street. “do you want me to take you to him?”

you shook your head. “nah, i'm fine. it's my fault,” you said determinedly.

she smiled widely. “okay, fighting!”

you tried to catch your breath before crossing the street and walking straight to him.

“hi,” you greeted softly. he turned to you. “are you looking for me?”

he smiled a little. “sakura?”

“no. sakura is my friend. i'm so sorry, i misrecognized the person.” you bowed.

“no, no, it's fine. i knew this wasn't for me. but i saw the note inside, this box are meant for nakagoshi, right? i can take you to him.”

you stood up. “really?”

“yeah, he's not far from here.”

you nodded happily.

you walked side by side with him, telling him everything about the situation. he just laughed and you were almost dying of embarrassment. he wasn't that talkative but good at responding to your story. you kept apologizing repeatedly, worried that you were oversharing, while you were just trying to explain the story behind the box so he would understand everything.

but that moment could've lasted longer if you both hadn't encountered the senior you've rejected.

“oh, so this is the boyfriend?” he exclaimed from across the street. tsukasa stopped and stared at him.

he approached you both. “are you sure dating this girl?” he pointed at you then his friends were laughing from afar.

“and you, why are you dating him? seeking validation? ah, you want to be popular too?" he laughed.

what an asshole.

“what do you want?” tsukasa stepped forward.

you bit your lower lip, realizing which school tsukasa came from and now you were scared if something bad would really happen.

“i don't need your opinion, okay? it's up to you. and please, move aside. you're blocking my way.” you tried to sound as calm as possible and looked straight into his eyes.

tsukasa grabbed your wrist while still glared at your senior, signaling to continue your walk.

“are you okay?” he asked after those assholes disappeared from sight.

you nodded. you unable to take your eyes off his grip in your wrist.

“we're almost there,” he said still weren't aware of his own hand.

this was actually worse than facing your senior. at least you knew you could defend yourself from them. but for thing like this, you don't know what to do. it couldn't be like this, you couldn't fall for him so easily.

but your body couldn't lie tho. your blood rushed to your cheeks, giving them a rosy color in it, and even more when tsukasa finally released his hand.

“oh, i'm so sorry.”

shit, shit, shit. it's harder to deny your own feelings. but still, “it's okay.” you replied.

I've finished the episode and I am literally crying. No, this is not an exaggeration, I am actually crying and I don't think I've literally straight up cried for an episode like this since 'Since your parting' and I'm crying much more than I cried back then. It was beautiful, thank you David Productions, it was perfect. It is now my favorite story in the remake now (it was already my favorite in the manga anyways).

I've already analyzed the story entirely here but I want to talk more about my favorite bits and addition in the remake (and other stuff)..

Nozomi's diary entry at the start was done so beautifully. The vibe which comes across is so soft and innocent, perfectly showing of Nozomi's pure heart. The soft coloring, the music, how they showed the writing, her voice acting (and the snow globe 😭) It honestly felt like I was watching another anime..

Speaking of the music, it seems like they made new BGM for this episode and let's just say, it's perfect..

..and the animation quality is just superb..

Oh my gosh, the way Nozomi becomes sad when he's unable to hold her hand... poor Nozomi :'(

Ataru commenting on how the scarf has his initial on it. As an artist, I can say it make people really happy when someone else points out the details in their work so I'm sure it made Nozomi really happy too..

Also, I love the colors for everything Nozomi made. I think it's a combo of the of original anime and manga's versions, which is very cute.

I love the addition of people not being able to see Nozomi, making Ataru seem like a loon. It makes him look stupid (while also wearing winter accessories during summer) but he doesn't care..

The whole date is so damn cute by the way, I think I was already tearing up by this point..

The whole moment where Nozomi was in the dark, I was literally screaming for Ataru to come out and be with her cuz I couldn't stand seeing her like that.. the poor girl..

Nozomi's soft smile as she rests in peace.. and now I'm crying again...

One detail I love which isn't remake original is how proud Sakura and Cherry are of Ataru after the date, like they didn't have much faith in him about him not breaking her heart at first but now they are very much proud of him..

"I'm gonna keep it on a little longer."

The way Lum looks at him in the final scene.. You just know this is when she fell in love with him all over again..

Chapter 7: Confusing

3rd's POV

A lot of people would call Chaewon lucky. She had everything that she could dream of, a career, friends, her fans's love and of course she also had you - the best thing that has ever happened to her. You brightened her life when IZ*ONE ended and continued to do so going forward. She felt lucky to be able to know how it's like to be loved by you.

But then she found out that Yunjin also knew what it's like.

Honestly this one fact hurt her more than you not telling her the truth. It hurt to know that Yunjin knew how it felt to hug, kiss and touch you. Chaewon knew it was selfish of her but she couldn't help it. She wanted to be the only one able to experience having you because she was the one who had you right now, not Kazuha, not Sakura, not anyone else and for goodness sake not Yunjin.

A break? That was the stupidest thing that she ever did and she for sure did lots of stupid stuff with Yena. Right now she didn't cared that you didn't told her sooner about you and Yunjin and about other stuff too. All she cared about was fixing this break thing because she wasn't going to act all mad for weeks only for Yunjin to have a chance to get back with you.

Determined Chaewon walked out of her room and ran to the door. Sakura who was eating one of her snacks noticed her putting on her shoes "Where are you going at this hour? It's literally 10 PM" Without even looking at Sakura, Chaewon putted on her jacket and ran out screaming "I'll be back soon, don't worry" and leaving a clueless oldest.

Chaewon didn't even cared about how much her lungs burned from running so much, especially after their practice that day. She managed to ran to the flower shop at the last minute before they closed and got a bouquet of your favorite flowers, white roses. Before she knew it she was already speeding in the direction of your group's dorm, hoping that you wouldn't be sleeping yet.

And she was lucky to find out that you were indeed awake but unfortunately luck wasn't on her side at the moment when she noticed that Yunjin stood in front of you with the same bouquet of flowers. Both of you looking at her in surprise that she also felt "Chaewon?" You asked not expecting her to actually show up just like that. Plus the circumstances could also be better.

"Yeah it's me. I came to see you but it seems like I'm not the only one who got this idea" Saying this she stared Yunjin down with a hard glare but the latter didn't backed down, instead she came closer to Chaewon, showing that she wasn't afraid of her "Yeah well, you didn't do it for the last 2 weeks. I thought that Y/N would need a company" Chaewon's eye twitched at the younger girl's words.

The audacity.

"From what I remember your time has ended right? Maybe let someone who can treat her better take care of her now, alright?" Chaewon's comment hit a nerve because Yunjin looked like she was ready to fight any second now, well Chaewon was too. Sensing an actual fistfight coming closer, you quickly stepped in and lightly pushed them away from each other.

None of them protested when they felt your touch that calmed both of them a little down but the glares only intensified "Okay okay, we don't need another article about you two not getting along so let's calm down" You rolled your eyes at their stubbornness when none of them showed any signs of leaving.

"I won't leave you alone with her"

"Excuse me? I'm her girlfriend so I have a bigger right to be here"

"Last time I checked you were on break, either way it doesn't stop me from seeing her"

"Why you little-"

"ENOUGH!!! Both of you shut up for a second before Haewon comes out and beat the shit out of both of you" You yelled getting their attention fully on you. You looked at them sternly "Go home, BOTH of you okay?" Your sudden change in personality shocked them and made them quickly nod despite how badly they wanted to stay. In the state that you were in you didn't heard Yunjin muttering That's hot under her breath and getting hit by Chaewon on her arm as they were leaving.

Sighing you turned around to walk into your dorm but before you walked in you noticed that both of them still left their bouquets for you. Shaking your head you took them and walked into the house, meeting Lily. Leaning against the wall she looked you up and down, her eyes stopping at the flowers in your hands.

"That was pretty intense. For a second I really thought that they were going to fight right there and then" her comment made you sigh for the nth time that night "I'm not going to comment on that" after bidding your goodbye to her you walked into the room you shared with Bae and Sullyoon. The latter observed as you were putting both of the bouquets in two different vases, especially noticeable thing was how you stilled your movements while looking at them.

"Weren't you and Chaewon-sunbaenim on a break?" You jumped when you finally noticed your roommate, turning around you shrugged "Don't know anymore. Both of them confuse me so much. Chaewon gives me flowers while we're on a break that she asked for and Yunjin also brings me flowers after she broke up with me and acted all big and mighty in front of Chaewon" You rambled, letting yourself lay down next to Sullyoon who listened to you the whole time.

Hugging you she started rubbing your back "Everything will be fine as long as you listen to your heart" You giggled at her words but still thanked her. Despite your worries about the two girls who wouldn't leave your mind, you still were lucky to have friends like Sullyoon in your life.

"I feel like nothing good will come out of all this"

hi, this is tsutsumi-kurose!! i have sort of a two part question haha, i was rereading the picture perfect arc, and it seems like shijima and tsukasa have worked together before? in 54 she says "no good ever comes from dealing with you," as if she's done it a lot, so i was wondering if you had any thoughts on that, because idk if that familiarity ever gets explained?

also, in 52 shijima tries to convince him not to "grant her wish" by saying "honorable no. 7 will be angry!" and in 91 when tsukasa tells sakura he sent nene to no. 6's boundary she asks "did your brother say it was okay?" and it's so interesting that these two people who have at least some history with tsukasa seem to think he is swayed by hanako's thoughts and feelings, or like he'd want or need hanako's permission for things. tsukasa certainly doesn't give the impression that he cares much about getting permission for anything, so I was really struck by these instances and i was wondering if you had any thoughts about them!!

Great questions by the way! I hadn't thought very deeply about these before.

1. Have Shijima and Tsukasa worked together before?

I don't think so!

In Chapter 54, we glimpse a flashback of when Tsukasa approaches Shijima about his master plan to create the Picture Perfect world.

Shijima is hesitant about being around him, and for good reason. I mean, she says it right there: she heard about No. 3.

Her focus on No. 3 in their conversation makes me think her reaction is related more to Tsukasa stealing his heart than any actual business he and Shijima might have done before. You could argue that she's only bringing it up because it's Tsukasa's latest misdeed (Hell, it could've happened just a day ago depending on when this conversation took place) but...

I think it's good to recognize Tsukasa and Shijima's history as supernaturals.

You might already know, but Shijima likely died in 1999 or 2000.

You can see her birth year was Showa 58, which is 1983.

She also celebrates the Year of the Rabbit (notably not the zodiac animal of the year this was posted):

As for Tsukasa... I'm inclined to believe he's been locked away the entire time he's been a yorishiro, until he just recently broke out. If not, he was at least locked away for a substantial amount of time.

He tells Amane "Long time no see", and Amane is absolutely terrified. The strength of his reaction makes it easy to believe that Amane hadn't talked to Tsukasa since he murdered him.

As such, I just don't see any place in the timeline where Tsukasa and Shijima could have worked together... but hey! That's just the way I see it.

2. "Honorable No. 7 will be angry!"

I really like this line! And I like the idea that people might assume Tsukasa doesn't want to anger Hanako, for any number of reasons. Could be because he's his brother, could be because he's his yorishiro...

But here's Shijima's line in context:

Tsukasa is breaking Nene out of the jail that Hanako just purposefully put her in.

Shijima has been having to put up with Hanako's crap all day too, btw. Look at this bossy little jerk:

He's a bully!!! And a powerful one, at that. Shijima is aware of this, and it's why he's able to push her around.

Taking all of this into consideration, I don't think this line holds much deeper meaning... onto the next one!

Naturally, anytime someone messes with his assistant, he's going to be upset. I think he makes this kinda obvious, too. Most members of the cast must be aware of his giant crush on Nene.

In summary, I think these two aren't necessarily saying these lines because Tsukasa cares about Hanako's opinion, but because they do. Sakura and Shijima could suffer some repercussions if Number 7 decides to interfere in these situations.

I'm sorry but that's ridiculous, and your overall bias for Sakura was made very evident. And then bringing up canon moments where she was called beautiful as if that is supposed to change the viewer's perspective of her beauty. Bella Hadid was named the most beautiful woman in the world by scientists but I know plenty of people who find other women like Adriana Lima and Margot Robbie more beautiful.

There are scenes like Ino's introduction during Sasuke shinden's anime adaptation (she looked much more beautiful than sakura), hinata during her talk with iruka in the sunset, or even the introduction of the raikage's assistant mabui. Yes, beauty is very much subjective but I feel that you should at least try to not be biased for once lmfao. I can't believe you can't call Ino beautiful without reducing her beauty to "sex appeal" all because you hate that Sakura's character design is simply not better or prettier than hers. Then you went on and made that thread where you talked about genin sakura's (a 12 year old) ass..ugh. gross. look up sakura haruno boruto settei sheet, she's flat in the butt. you can try and catch her at an angle but who tf cares, in reality her character's design doesn't have a big butt. I only reiterated this point during this post, where I also revealed that Anko and Konan were in 2nd and 3rd places respectively. So again, not Sakura.

I gave further explanations for the above during this post.

In this post, I answered that if I were to date someone in the Narutoverse, it would again be between Anko, Konan and Kurenai, but I ultimately went with Anko at the time due to her personality.

In this post a little over 3 years later, my opinion had somewhat changed, and when asked who I would marry, I selected either Kurenai or Hanabi. Again, not Sakura.

And yet, you're here claiming that I have some form of apparent deep bias for Sakura? Know who you're talking to before making these stupid assertions. Otherwise, if the person you're accusing actually knows and remembers what they say, they'll very easily be able to expose your ignorance, as I have just done.

Secondly, not once did I ever reduce Ino's beauty to sex appeal. I'm assuming you're referring to this post. In which case, not only did I once again reiterate that I actually found Kurenai to be the most attractive woman in the series because she was mostly my type, but I did not say that Ino's sex appeal was all she had. I clarified that if we were ranking them based solely on their sex appeal, then Ino would top my list. But that clearly does not mean that I don't find her beautiful or that she had nothing other than her sex appeal. I literally only said that I probably found her to be the sexiest woman in the series, that's it. It's actually amazing how you can take what is very clearly me giving Ino a very big compliment, and desperately try to twist it into something negative due to your juvenile agenda against me. It's not going to work.

Thirdly, during that same post, I clarified that in terms of the written material, I found Sakura's depictions specifically from Sakura Hiden, to be the most beautiful depictions of any woman in the series. That was my opinion on the matter. I still find Kurenai to be the most attractive, but I cannot deny that Sakura was drawn beautifully for Sakura Hiden.

I reiterated that during this post, where not only did I list Ino first among the list of kunoichi who I found to be really beautiful (shocking right???), not only did I reiterate once again that I found Kurenai to be the most attractive because she was the one who was most my type, but I clarified that the most beautiful portrayal of a female character I had seen in the series, were Sakura's specific depictions for Sakura Hiden, nothing more.

It's because it is the only objective metric we have to see who's physical attractiveness was highlighted the most in the series. Does that change the fact that I consider Kurenai, Konan and Anko to be more attractive? No.

Lastly, with regards to the post I made highlighting Sakura's ass, the Anon sent me that ask in response to this ignorant Anon trying to put Sakura down while elevating Hinata, and said that Hinata had more of an ass than Sakura, and tried to further put Sakura down by claiming that she apparently has a flat ass, just like you're trying to do here. So I made that post proving that yes, Sakura does have an ass, and catching her at angles isn't necessary to prove that. I also love how you tried to shame me by saying how I was talking about a 12 year old's ass (as if the majority of it wasn't about her Part 2 and adult self), while completely missing the entire point of the post. In fact, I've had this theory in my head for some time. Do you happen to think that Sakura met Amane when he was alive? Since she's been stuck in school for many years now, it made me think that maybe they've crossed paths. There are theories that she was the other Hanako-san, maybe Amane summoned her or maybe she just influenced something in her life because of some plan to break free. Maybe she erased his memory, it's possible as they have mysterious powers.

I don't think their paths crossed in any way.

Amane looked as if he wondered if Yashiro had been deceived by Nanamine more than by Sakura's person. Amane also wonders more why Tsukasa makes him destroy yorishiros, wondering about his little brother's plan. I think Tsukasa crossed his path with Sakura,not Amane.

Her as Hanako-san? I think that's the least likely because it doesn't make sense. If she was actually no.7, she wouldn't give up her number so that her plan could succeed. She wouldn't have to play such intrigues as she does now.

Didn't she say she's like yashiro?

Of course, there's a chance that she might be lying, but I don't think it's very likely either. She is afraid of Tsukasa and doesn't want her plans discovered by him. I don't think she's lying here, it's confirmed that she has a wish and only Nene, Amane can guarantee her victory and Tsukasa helps with gossip. If she had actually been No.7 in the past, Sakura wouldn't have let the No.7 position be taken away from her. Sakura is stuck in school and lives in it for 100 years which means she may have tried in the past to do what she is trying to do now, but she failed and tries a second time now she has Natsuhiko and Tsukasa to help

It's possible that Sakura wants to repeat what happened when the Yugi twins went to school, only this time more successfully. Her actions behind Tsukasa's back show that she needs the power of Nene, Amane and Tsukasa.

That's why I don't believe in her "former Hanako-san" position, she didn't give up this position. As an assistant Tsukasa,She "borrows" kaku for her actions, but I just think Tsukasa knows about it, but lets her do whatever she wants as long as she follows a plan that benefits both of them. Tsukasa doesn't care too much.

I believe that Sakura is dangerous and from the beginning I knew shouldn't to ignore her.

Tsukasa hinted that she once had a wish. This means it's possible she was involved with someone else before Tsukasa and tried to get out earlier. Teru says school mysteries not only haunt, but also protect. This means that Sakura wants to get rid of the protection and be free herself and maybe something else, but she doesn't care about anyone.

Sakura will stop at nothing. I believe she was imprisoned to guard what's in the school, and she's trying to destroy it a second time because she doesn't want to be imprisoned anymore, or is there something more to her mind? I don't believe she only cares about leaving school. I don't think it's just about leaving school, it's about more than that.

There's really no indication that she was responsible for sealing his memory, but it's possible she knows why Amane was doing it, and she also knows how he lost his memories. That's why she needs him to repeat it.

Not sure anyone will read/care about this but I need a spot to vent about this whole "Idols "recommending" Made in Abyss" thing that's currently trending on twitter because I feel like I'm losing my mind (also I have no one else to talk about this).

So, one tweet from an unverified account posted that several idols were out here promoting and recommending the manga/anime Made in Abyss to their fans... and like... that's not at all what happened? One of them mentioned in a live off hand that he was going to watch it (along with a list of other shows), but stated he probably wouldn't finish them because he was currently touring. He apparently has never brought it up again. Another had a volume on the floor in the corner of a photo he took on his instagram story. He has also never talked about it before or since.

I have not read or watched Made in Abyss, but I follow several anime accounts online and basically every single person was recommending this show when it came out in 2017. It's still highly regarded in the anime community. I have never seen a single person ever speak about the "sexual" moments in it. I was curious and decided to read the first 3 chapters and... yeah, there's one part right in chapter 1 that has a pretty gross illustration of the child protagonist, which I'm not going to go into more detail here because it did make me extremely uncomfortable. I will note that apparently the South Korean version of the manga/anime is heavily censored and also rated mature, but I've not seen what the censoring in question looks like, so I don't know how much they could have read/watched that in, say, the North American/Japanese versions.

My overall opinion, after sleeping on this, is that calling these idols predators or worse is an extreme over-exaggeration. I'm not surprised people are saying this because the tendency for fandoms to overreact and be the morality police are worse than ever before, but if we're really cancelling these people for reading "problematic" fiction/dead dove content, then I'd be right alongside them.

From my physical manga collection alone, I can name three series I own that would get me cancelled:

After the Rain: protagonist, a high school girl, falls in love with an older man (mid-40s?) who serves her at a family diner. She starts working there, and they develop a friendship. Spoiler: nothing happens between them

Cardcaptor Sakura: pretty well known magical girl series so I won't go into the plot, but like.... looking back on it, there were a TON of age-gap romances in here, one of which being a teacher and an elementary school student. I remember being in elementary school and reading it for the first time and being weirded out by it. Spoiler: nothing happens here either (though I have not read the clear card sequel series)

Daytime Shooting Star: Romance with a love triangle between her teacher (wow I'm realizing I read a lot of age gap/teacher/student stuff) and a classmate. Spoiler: she doesn't end up with her teacher!!

I can think of a ton of other non-anime related examples of "problematic"/dark fiction that I love too: Game of Thrones, Last of Us, House of Leaves, My Dark Vanessa.... One of the best books I've read last year was about a cannibal. I guess to twitter, I am also a cannibal?

I think the unfortunate reality of being an anime fan is that basically 80% of the shit out there has "problematic" elements to it, or as I like to call it, "anime bullshit". And I think a lot of kpop fans have not actually watched anime or read manga and aren't aware of this.

You're allowed to feel uncomfortable with fiction. You're allowed to be weirded out that an idol likes a dark manga that has children as the main protagonists, where awful things happen to them. But at the same time, people are allowed to read dark content as well and that does NOT make them pedos, abusers, etc. That is a horrible accusation to make against someone, especially with no proof other than the fact that they may or may not own a volume of an extremely popular manga series. I really feel like the internet as a whole does not realize that words have meaning, and accusing someone of such vile behavior because of the fiction they may or may not read is just... insane. It's insane behavior. Please go outside.

Anyway if you read all of this, congrats. I'm basically word vomiting this all out at 6 am because I'm bad at sleeping. Would love to hear anyone else's thoughts on the matter honestly!

Obviously it's just my opinion/interpretation, Sasuke's just really passionate and open with his feelings and not afraid to go after what he desires so I think his jealousy would manifest more obviously. Also his age and I think he can be more insecure.

That doesn't mean I don't think Kakashi doesn't get jealous ever, I just don't think he's as possessive or obvious about it. He's more likely to take a few breaths and remove himself from the situation to calm down, he would consider it being unreasonable and immature to act out. Kakashi isn't the type to lash out or be impulsive like that. I think in Kakashi's mind if he thought Sasuke didn't want him anymore or liked someone else better (not that he would), he would be sad about it and heartbroken sure but I don't see him being underhanded about it and I don't think he thinks he owns Sasuke or is entitled to him (except maybe when they're roleplaying a little~).

I think when he does get jealous it's not serious things, he wants Sasuke close, his affection, wants to just be alone with him - and maybe something or someone is getting in the way of that so he eventually does drag Sasuke away so he can have him all to himself. Or, Sasuke teases him a bit too much because I do think Sasuke likes when Kakashi's patience runs out - given he usually has so much of it. If he wants to make a point he'd just get closer to Sasuke, maybe touch him around the waist, the back of his neck, depending on where they are maybe give Sasuke a kiss or introduce himself as his partner. I see him being a little more feral in bed after, if anything, knowing Sasuke enjoys it.

In a different sense, I think he'd be more possessive of Sasuke as a student than a lover - might be an odd head canon but Sasuke is his legacy as a sensei. They share a lot as sensei/student and Sasuke's use of Kakashi's techniques in his own is a thread of that and I think Kakashi really loves that?? Naruto and Sakura are different but Sasuke is much more his in that sense. So I think he gets jealous of someone taking that position in Sasuke's life? Something that comes up, quite soon actually, in my fic is how much he dislikes Orochimaru for many reasons but a big one definitely what he did to Sasuke and his taking of him from Kakashi the way he did, Sasuke choosing to leave his care. And that's probably enhanced when his feelings for Sasuke change.

So there's a lot going on so summary: Medjed, which is basically Anonymous in MegaTenland, has threatened the Thieves and calls them fake prophets of justice and says Japan needs to drop the idol worship. wait i thought japan loved idol wor--

fucking crying laughing. IF YUSUKE HAS ONE FAN I AM ONE OF THEM, IF HE HAS NO FANS I AM DEAD.

So while Medjed is making threats against the Thieves, "another" hacker reaches out to Reverie and is like "I will help you with Medjed but you have to steal someone's heart, her name is Futaba Sakura."

So: Sojiro's daughter is named Futaba Sakura, she is setting up her own heart-theft, and I believe she is also Medjed and the entire plot is a set-up to make the Thieves do what she wants.

I don't have proof of the second half of that yet but I am pretty confident in it.

An unmarked envelope for Reverie shows up but thankfully Adachi is still probably in prison somewhere so its a blank calling card like the Thieves tend to use.

"Alibaba" is like "that's what you need, right, a calling card?" And Reverie informs them he needs the targets name. Alibaba reluctantly says its Futaba Sakura. Because Alibaba is Futaba Sakura, obvsly.

Sae wants info on someone named Wakaba, and when Sojiro says no she threatens to pull his custody of Futaba from him until he yields.

And then smiles and says she'll be back for coffee.

Meanwhile, Akechi is laying the groundwork to blame the mental shutdown cases on the Thieves, which is just fabulous. You need a haircut, Beige Boy.

LE BACKSTORY: Sojiro and Futaba's mother Wakaba were friends for a long time. Wakaba was a single mother (the game takes a moment to gasp about this to remind us This Is Frowned Upon) raising Futaba. It's obvious Sojiro was incredibly fond of her. When she died suddenly, Sojiro adopted Futaba and raised her.

She's always been a reclusive genius type but lately Futaba's been losing it, talking about hearing her mother and hearing voices. She blames herself for her mother's death though we don't know why.

Sojiro is doing his best with the situation but mostly is trying to give Futaba a place she feels safe.

There is this small wind up happening with either the Thieves not appreciating Morgana enough (which: agreed) or maybe with so many people joining the team and everyone kind of up to speed on how the Metaverse works, Morgana is beginning to feel his importance slipping? Maybe he's afraid without some kind of usefulness, some kind of leverage, no one will be motivated to help him look for his memories.

Which is absurd, I would drop literally any party member for Morgana.

The team goes and asks Futaba for her keywords to get into her Palace. She's fully nonverbal but talks via chat and says she's going to die here, it's her tomb.

I've gotta put this out there, because any time I bring up an actor/actress who isn't totally left wing, I get messages telling me why said actor/actress is the spawn of Satan and I shouldn't like them. It happened with Amanda Miller (Someone who isn't even right wing) and it happened the last time I brought up Karen Strassman.

So again: I literally do not care about an actor/actress's politics, whether they're left or right wing. I care that they're not harming someone (i.e. Daman Mills) or being an asshole (Helena Taylor). This isn't a left or right thing, I just simply DO NOT care about someone's politics. And if people want to block me for saying that, that's totally fine and I have no hard feelings.

ANYWHO.

I like Karen! I like her role as Olivia (Who I'm surprised was pretty popular for a while and then just dropped off the face of the earth when it came to alts), I like her work as Anna... And while I actually don't like Hana's character, I do like her work as Hana. And outside of that, I adore her Nanako (as someone who got deeply invested when I played P4Golden), and I actually think she's a good Rouge, even though Kathleen Delaney was more my favorite. And I can't wait until Mozu gets added to FEH. Something tells me she'll show up on the next Fates banner.

Performance! I think her performance as Olivia between her pegasus alt and her Festival Arts alt is interesting; in the former, she's much more shy and timid (gives me big Fluttershy vibes), while she seems to feel very comfortable and more confident in the latter. It's an interesting distinctive tonal switch between the two. For the two variations of Anna in FEH so far (Commander Anna and Awakening Anna), there's a difference in their emotions that conveys what is the most important reason for each Anna to be earning money: For the commander, it's to keep funding the Order of Heroes, so she's a bit more serious and doesn't really talk as much about the money itself, more about the Order's funds in general. For Fates, it's to personally get rich, so she usually sounds mischievous and charismatic, to draw people in. I think it would actually be fun someday to have a full Anna banner as an April Fool's joke with the Annas that aren't in the game yet: Tellius Anna, Fates Anna, Fodlan Anna, etc. And finally, Hana. I think her voice for Hana is good, but... Something happened to the way she was pronouncing Sakura's name between her Ninja alt and her Valentine's alt. In her Ninja alt, she pronounces it correctly, but in her Valentine's alt, she goes "Sa-Koo-Ra". But then in her Ninja alt, she also pronounces Kagero's name weirdly too. I blame less of that on Karen and more of that on the voice director; they're the ones who are supposed to know the correct pronunciations of the names and should be guiding the VAs on how to say them right. Still a good portrayal for Hana though, she's energetic and a little spicy sometimes. Just makes me wish her support in Fates wasn't so unreasonable ("How dare you make Lady Sakura cry by getting kidnapped!" Like bro, WHAT?! Corrin watched their surrogate father get bombarded with arrows he shielded them from, then get slashed. How is any of that a literal child's fault?!).

I think she's a good fit for all three of the characters. Just... fix her pronunciation issues as Hana and we're all good.

However, when it comes to range... Look, as a general actress, I know that Karen has range. Her sultry voice for Rouge compared to her child voice for Nanako are pretty decent. But in FEH, I'll be honest: you can pretty easily tell that Karen voices all three, and Hana and Anna sound pretty similar to each other. So for FEH, I'll say the range is not really there.

Overall, I'd put Karen at an 8/10. I still don't know why they replaced her in Engage (And I don't know if that means that Monica will be playing child Anna when she gets added or if Karen will take over as child Anna), but as an actress I enjoy her work.

I love love love the scen in the Sakura novel when he opens the door to Ino and is only in a towel and doesnt understand why she is embarrassed by that. God i love them.

They are the best parents in their respective age group. They deeply love and support inojin which is so cute and they love each other. I cant believe we got a scene with Sai lying in Ino's lap like we are so blessed.

Sai deserves love. Ino deserves support post war. They can deal with it together, be there for each other. Sai can learn a lot about expression from her, Ino can help him on his way to becoming more like the self he wants to be, not the one he was told to be.

I just adore the dynamic of sunshine and shy person. Like, she is so drawn back and quiet, but he just speaks up for her instead and is sort of like "look my wife" because he doesn't mind? peak

He saw her when nobody saw her. A thing that always hurts me with hinata is that she'S so overlooked, even by her own family, but naruto never did that, not a single moment.

She see's him too. Long before others and the village itself. She admires his kindness from their first meeting

He also defended her several times and yes he did ask her out and profess his love, but he never like called her feelings for Sasuke into question? Thats very considerate of him, because his first priority is her

Sakura needed healing and love after being almost murdered by the guy she harboured so many feelings for and Lee would absolutely provide that. And not in a "oh this girl is very vunerable right now gotta take advantage" but in a "this is the girl i love and the girl i cherish and I will take care of her"

AU where Yusuke stays with the Sakura family?

OMG STARS MY FRIEND STARS THANK YOU FOR THIS ASK BECAUSE i feel like everyone else just forgot about the time that yusuke just almost ended up moving in with akira BUT I WILL REMEMBER IT FOREVER BC PERSONALLY I SCREAMED CRIED FREW UP OVER IT anyways squishy rant incoming so. (also sorry in advance i kinda got off topic and psychoanalyzed him. sorry)

(also MAIN SCENE I AM REFERENCING HERE i kinda forgor the exact dialogue and had to spend forever looking for it so here's the link for anyone else who also wants to see)

ok so i wanna preface this by saying that sojiro had no way of knowing the exact details of yusuke's personal trauma and situation at the time of the scene i am referecing, and none of his situation is sojiro's fault or responsibility. i say none of this with the intention of blaming.

but man do i wish he had insisted more when yusuke rejected his offer bc. URHGURHUGRUGHUGHHH

i wish sojiro could have seen yusuke in that moment. i wish he could have realized that maybe he isn't as fine as he seems to always insist he is. i wish he looked at him and saw a teenage boy that needs to be taken care of and have a real home just like any other teenager his age.

generally speaking, i think yusuke has this habit of isolating himself from others and having an "i'll be fine, i'll figure it out" attitude when he is, in actuality, extremely lonely and not actually as fine as he says he is at all. and the problem is that everyone else around him kinda shrugs it off as "well, that's yusuke for you" instead of treating it like an actual problem. and this scene is a PRIME EXAMPLE OF THAT (although once again i truly think sojiro didn't really know better at this time)

people look at yusuke who can't even accept someone's time without apologizing for being a burden, yusuke who doesn't have a reliable source of money or the ability to budget responsibly when he can access some (which!!! btw!!!! makes total sense bc once again he is a teenager, and a lot of teenagers cannot do that!!!!!!), yusuke who regularly ends up starving himself, yusuke who's admitted that nobody has ever so much as cared enough to listen to his feelings, yusuke who's lost so much and who's been abandoned and neglected and who's never had a safe place to call home (gonna come back to this) and they go. "oh he's fine that's just yusuke for you!"

and it's like. he is a LITERAL teenager. he has the phantom thieves, and yes, that helps, but he needs someone to specifically be there for him, and while all of the other phantom thieves have at least one (good) parent or guardian or best friend, yusuke doesn't have that at all.

AND SOJIRO HAD THE CHANCE TO FIX THAT ALL WITH ONE SCENE BUT MY HOPES AND DREAMS WERE TORN UP RIGHT IN FRONT OF MY EYES

to be clear, i think yusuke rejecting sojiro's offer was very in-character for him. the reason he cited checks out for him, but i also think there's more going on there. i think... yusuke's never really had much. abandonment and neglect aren't new feelings for him, and anything he's ever had has been ripped away from him. it makes me think he'd have complicated feelings about putting himself in a situation where he'd get too comfortable out of fear that he'd once again just lose it bc that's all he knows. i don't think he really is used to having a space he considers safe, either. i'm reblogging another post that talks about this that i think is really good SO IF YOU TOOK THE TIME TO READ THIS ALSO READ THAT

i understand his hesitance, but i also just wish sojiro had insisted. bc i am NOW GETTING TO THE ACTUAL POINT

i think sojiro could have taken such good care of yusuke and been such a positive influence on him. first of all, just him having access to shelter that actually feels like home and food is something he needs so desperately. this is something that sojiro would definitely be able and willing to provide. and additionally, i think sojiro's somewhat strict no-nonsense attitude could be a really good influence on him with of some of his reckless behaviors that need to be reeled in a bit.

yusuke and futaba are also already basically siblings and their dynamic might just be my favorite in the game. they are SO silly and their autism-to-autism communication is just perfect!!!!!!! they always fight as if they're siblings, and it's in such a way that you can tell that despite their constant arguments, they also love each other very much and they'd both be totally down to beat someone up for the other.

and finally, akira and yusuke is a dynamic that i would have loved to see developed much better, and this would have been the perfect opening for it. bc it feels like... even by the end of yusuke's confidant and by the end of the game, akira never quite gets him. there's a lot of times when speaking to yusuke where i didn't like any of the dialogue options and i've felt like akira is still treating him standoffisjh. i would have liked them to become closer and have less of a "yeah okay whatever you say weird boy" attitude coming from akira when it comes to him. and i think being around him all the time and including him in the family dynamic would have given us this chance

in my heart. sojiro adopted yusuke that day. and it was wonderful. bc i love yusuke to pieces and it's what he deserves. thanks for coming to my ted talk
