Ninja Turtle Scale Color Comparison

Here's the colors comparison for the scales. Most of these have a light to dark scale, but the exceptions are 2016 where the 'highlight' is the tan area around their mouths, and 2018 where I show some additional colors on their skin, like Leo's red marks.

I feel like 2003 is a little dark, but that might be because of the picture I chose. Or it just looks darker with the colors separated.

I have the results of the next poll, and I still have shell colors to finish up and post.

When I get the eye color comparison (result of Poll 2) then I'll make Poll 3.

Dramatic idiots lol

There is nothing worse than having to lift up the cushions of a childhood couch to find the remote, not knowing what disgusting horrors lie dormant amongst the crumbs and candy wrappers. I avoided sitting where my dad does on the sofa because, for all I love him, the man devours snacks like a wood chipper and I don’t want to even know how crumby those seams are.

Ninja Turtle Mask Color Comparison

Since my 'Height Comparison' post was popular, I figured making another artist reference.

Note: Feel free to use this as a reference, but in no way consider it absolute truth. The images I used to obtain this information may not be in consistent lighting, and you as an artist are allowed to tweak things as you see fit. With that said, I did my best.

I've compiled mask colors, including some highlight and shadow colors, across the TMNT iterations. I tried to get all animated/cartoon groups. Only exception is Bayverse (2016) because I love them, but they were tricky to get colors from.

2019 is the TMNT meets Batman movie.

Here are the colors by the years. The colors go highlight-neutral-shadow. If a circle is empty, then there wasn't a color on the image I referenced to fill it.

Then I took the middle colors and sorted them by turtle. (Colors are earliest to latest)

This was a lot of fun, though also difficult to get set up. But I have empty templates if anyone wants to see other color comparisons. (I'm mainly thinking skin and eye colors, maybe having shell color being separate?)
