adam is so. cold hands cold feet cold everything. wrapping himself around lawrence and shoving his hands under his shirt just to hear lawrence do that high pitched thing when icy fingertips start wandering and a cold nose finds it’s way into the crook of his neck, shoving his feet under lawrences thighs when they sit on the couch together, pressing them against lawrence in bed and laughing when he groans and shoves at adam, wriggling a hand in next to lawrences when lawrence is wearing a coat so they end up sharing a pocket. but then lawrence will sling an arm around adam to pull him closer in bed, clasp his hands over adams to warm them up and kiss the tip of his nose until the flush that creeps its way down adams neck warms him up. he’ll link their hands together inside his pocket and give a sideways glance at adam who’s shivering beside him, because of course he’s wearing a threadbare t shirt and leather jacket that does absolutely nothing to keep the cold out, and wrap his scarf around adams neck, using it to pull him in when adam starts complaining that it fucks up his outfit. and maybe, sometimes, adam will bring lawrences hand up to cup his jaw, just to feel how warm, how different it is from the first time they touched and maybe lawrence has a habit of pressing his fingers to adams pulse when freezing hands wrap around him, when the cold of adams touch starts to feel all too familiar. maybe that’s just them
