Why Gabriel Never Needed To Be A Supervillain (With Sources)
People have talked about this before, how he could save Emile by akumatizing himself or someone else to have the power to wake her from her coma. This is hardly a new idea. What I’m gonna do is explain every reason why this works, citing the episodes/akumas that give evidence for it hypothetically working.
He can akumatize himself (The Collector)
He can choose, at least to some degree, what power he gives akumas (Catalyst)
He clearly feels powerful emotions in regards to Emile, otherwise he wouldn’t don a supervillain persona for all this time just to get her back (basically the whole series)
Akumas can persist even without Hawkmoth’s control/when he is detransformed, so he doesn’t have to worry about losing his powers (The Collector, Chat Blanc, Startrain, Simon Says)
And if he was worried about not going back to normal, he could enlist Nathalie’s help (like he already would as Hawkmoth). Have Nathalie wield the butterfly and grant him the power to wake Emile, then revoke the power when the healing is finished.
The thing that removes the effects of akumas is the Miraculous Cure, so any healing effects would remain after Gabriel was deakumatized. This is seen in pretty much every episode, when the miraculous cure returns everything to normal after the akuma is detransformed. Probably the clearest example of it is in Oblivio, where they deakumatize Alya and Nino and kiss before using the cure and getting their memories back, which allows Alya to take a picture of the kiss.
So far, nothing indicates that an akuma’s power must be inherently evil or harmful. Plenty of neutral abilities have been seen (Volpina creating illusions just like the fox miraculous, Catalyst enhancing powers, Vanisher being invisible, etc.)
There is also no indication that there is a limit to the strength of powers granted.
For example:
Copycat perfectly imitated Chat Noir’s abilities, meaning he could replicate the powers of (allegedly) one of the most powerful miraculous
Miraculer took it a step further, repeatedly using the abilities of multiple miraculous
Timetagger and Timebreaker could both travel through time
Chat Blanc caused destruction on such a wide and irreversible scale that a time-traveler had to intervene. I mean, seriously, dude destroyed the MOON! You’re gonna look at that and tell me that there’s a limit to the power Hawkmoth can grant?
So basically, there’ve been some pretty powerful villains. Healing Emile/waking her from her coma shouldn’t be too tall of an order. So why is it necessary to send out villains to get two new miraculous (and rewrite the universe in the process, though maybe he doesn’t realize that), when you could save your wife with the one you already have? Akumatize yourself! Have someone akumatize you! You already have the power to heal your comatose wife! She is sitting in your basement just begging to be woken up! There shouldn’t be any issues here! Get your head out of your ass!

Regarding the Quantic Kids
Tumblr media
The Quantics Kids were first introduced during the early stages of Miraculous Ladybug. They were supposed to be a group of young superheroes that Ladybug and Chat Noir were a part of. They consisted of Sparrow, Melodie, and Mercury, and later on into development, Gavroche was added into the team, and Mercury was replaced with Kid Mime. It was a request by a producer to help sell the show to viewers, but sadly, the idea was soon dropped, and we were left with only the main duo.
However, as shown in "Heroes’ Day”, Ladybug and Chat Noir formed a team together with Rena Rouge, Carapace, and Queen Bee for a brief time, thus forming the original Miraculous Team, or Miraculous Heroes as I call them. Throughout seasons three and four, the Miraculous Team slowly grew from five members to 18 members, many of them being Marinette’s classmates, and to be honest, I really wish they could have kept them as the original five (reminds me a whole lot of Power Rangers). Then in “Miraculous New York”, two characters, Sparrow and Mercury, were reused, one being a young sidekick to Nightowl, and the other being an adult member of the United Heroez (I wish they didn’t call them that).
Now, I’m only an observer of Miraculous Ladybug. I didn’t watch the show, only observe it through clips, reviews, fan art, and fanfiction. I’m kind of like a bystander. But, I’m working on a fan concept of the show, not necessarily a rewrite, but rather a PV-inspired reimagining, titled Miraculous Heroes. I just want to see if I could revise it into a full-on superhero story, where there’s lots of super activity and fantastical activity happening across the Earth. I also want to explore more with Bridgette and Félix’s struggle with juggling between their civilian identities and superhero identities. I also want to add in more supervillains other than Hawkmoth, and while I’m reusing some of the akumatized villains (i.e. the Mime, M. Pigeon, Style Queen), I also want to rewrite them into non-akumatized villains, like in the PV. There are so many things I want to do with this concept.
Now, let’s get to to elephant in the room. Right now, I’m stuck between having to reuse the Quantic Kids concept or reuse the Miraculous Five concept. On one hand, I’m reusing Bridgette and Félix, so it’s fair to bring back the original team they were supposed to be a part of. Maybe the Quantic Kids were supposed to be a new superhero team to introduce to the public before Ladybug and Chat Noir. Plus, I feel like there should have been only two miraculous charms, or at least seven miraculous charms like earlier in the show. Another thing, I also want to add in new superheroes and antiheroes by reusing the young akumatized villains from the show (i.e. Lady Wifi, Riposte, Antibug, DJ Bubbler, Dark Cupid, Timebreaker, Gamemaster, Princess Fragrance, Reflekta) and revise them a little. For example, Riposte is now a liquid silver superhero hailing from a family of mystical warriors, and Reflekta is also made of liquid metal now, and is able to create portals out of mirrors like Mirror Master. Note how I said that Riposte and Reflekta are two liquid metal superheroes. I’m gonna either get to that later, or I need to revise Reflekta’s abilities.
On the other hand, I also want to explore the original Miraculous team and flesh out their dynamics and interactions with each other, especially with Rena Rouge and Carapace’s unexplored dynamic. With that in mind, I also want to flesh out Master Fu’s role as mentor to the team. I really think he should have been a good mentor not only to Marinette, but to Adrien and the other team members, other than just hanging out in his garden and being all Zen-like. Perhaps after Hawkmoth and Mayura are dealt with, the new holders of the butterfly charm and peacock charm respectively would either become new superheroes or new supervillains, the former choice leading them to become new members of the Miraculous team, and the latter choice indicating them to become the former villains’ successors. Maybe they’ll become superheroes, and the team would probably have to face off against a greater threat than Hawkmoth, perhaps either an imprisoned force of evil or a fully accomplished supervillain who’s also seeking the charms.
I could use the Miraculous Five concept and Quantic Kids concept altogether, however. Perhaps the Miraculous Five would serve as the main heroes in Paris, working together to take down Hawkmoth and his numerous allies, while the Quantic Kids would serve as the main heroes in New York. Remember the United Heroez (I’m just gonna call them the Union of Superheroes)? Well, what if Sparrow forms a group of young superheroes on her own, similar to Robin with the Teen Titans? Perhaps the Quantic Kids would still exist outside the events of Miraculous Heroes, taking care of the supervillain activity in New York in the mean time. Not only do the original members (Sparrow, Melodie, Mercury, Kid Mime, Gavroche) return, but so will Uncanny Valley (who definitely deserves a redesign). I’m also including Zoé Lee in the team, who not only needs a new superhero persona (right now, I’m thinking of a copper-based superhero), but also desperately needs a character revitalization. Maybe she could be Chloé’s rival in regards to both of them being daughters of big names in the fashion industry; I also want to rename her as Zoé Deschanel.
So, what do you guys think? Should it be the Quantic Kids concept, Miraculous Five concept, or both concepts altogether? In the mean time, I’ll go on and flesh out the story, or at least I’ll try to, considering that I had came up with numerous fan concepts.

Miraculous Rewrite- Timebreaker
Something that our rewrites are focusing on is, kinda getting frontloaded on certain aspects of plot changes so, much like Zag wanted out of Miraculous, it can be mostly an episodic experience while still being able to carry the plot. So while we recognize that that does give certain plot elements a minor pacing problem, foreshadowing early on is like, WAY easier than making a full character arc fit in two or three episodes, so let’s just call it the lesser of two evils and move on to Timebreaker.
The setup is mostly okay except in regards to Marinette’s seeming cluelessness on what was going on that day. She’s aware that she needs to bring the banner to the race, but given that the cake isn’t supposed to be picked up for thirty minutes, will have JUST enough time to bring them the banner, return to the bakery to hand off the cake, and then rejoin her friends to celebrate, even if it does mean missing the race.
Tikki, in fact, offers to wait at the bakery in case the customer arrives early so she can fly off to alert Marinette. A floating, talking camera. She comments about how she’s worried Marinette is making a habit out of overtaxing herself, but she’s not literally a god for nothing and promises to help.
So, we all know now that the watch is a big deal. At least, now it is. And we all know it makes ZERO sense what happens later. So, in the restaurant when she’s given the watch, her father pulls it out with a chain attached to it, gesturing after he shows off what it can do and intrigues her, to stand up, and he attaches the end of the chain to her pants’ belt loop, informing her that they’ll have a bigger party with the rest of the family this evening.
Also, if this watch is supposed to be a Miraculous, while in Hidden form it shouldn’t have any particularly odd abilities, granted no other Miraculous has a minor version of their magic while Hidden. The time saved in getting rid of that, can be taken up by Alix’s dad in fact mentioning a bedtime story that Alix herself has memorized from her childhood, about a great warrior in the Kubdel family Generations ago that helped win various battles of the Napoleonic wars. M. Kubdel responds that Alix’s Ancestor was in fact the first owner of this watch, and she’d be carrying around their family pride along with it.
Marinette hands the banner off to Adrien and Nino to hold, explaining what’s going on on her end to the both of them.
When the prelims for the race begin, and Marinette begins to leave to go back to the bakery, someone (literally it doesn’t matter who, so let’s say… Juleka) asks her where she’s going. She explains the delivery thing, but someone insists (probably Alix herself) that she’s got more than enough time, especially since this will be over soon. She hands Alya the watch for safekeeping, Whom strings the chain around her wrist so she can continue to record. Marinette, lightly peer pressured into hanging around, is very edgy and nervous, especially when Chloe starts making scathing comments about how crummy and junky the watch looks. It’s harmless isn’t it? It IS just a price of crummy metal it’s not like she’s DOING anything to it.
As the race begins to get more heated, Kim and Alix neck in neck, the crowd starts getting a little more rambunctious, and Alya is hit from the side, the hand with the watch on it is knocked free and the watch itself slides off and falls to the ground. Surprisingly, it doesn’t break as it bounces down the steps, into the line of fire.
As Kim and Alix pass by, the watch gets caught in Alix’s blades and sends her forward, face-planting right past Kim and onto the finish line. Alix’s victory is met with stunned silence as she propped herself back up and asks if she beat him. Max nods dumbly and asks if she’s alright. She brushes off her clearly bloody nose and insists she’s had worse, before realizing just WHAT she’s run over. Scrambling to remove her rollerblade she breathes a sigh of relief to see the watch drop into her hand, still unscratched. However that calm is short-lived when she realizes the ornate silver chain that she was to hang the watch from, the chain itself as much of an heirloom as the watch, was beyond repair, in pieces of silver around her blades.
Alix is frustrated, and angry, but everyone is quick to explain it’s only an accident. But she will hear none of it as she shoves her rollerblade back on and skates off. Marinette goes to follow her, but Tikki quickly arrives to tell her that Nadja is there early. Alya promises to go and try to talk to Alix, as she was the one who should’ve kept a better grip on it, and Marinette dashes off. She still gets the phone call, but lets it go to voicemail as she claims to be in the bathroom and will be RIGHT down. She wasn’t expecting Nadja to be early after all.
Once again, for the cheap seats in the back -- NO PRIOR TO AKUMATIZATION MONOLOGUE!! MEANS TO AN END IF YOU WANT A SYMPATHETIC VILLAIN THIS CAN ONLY BE MEANS TO AN END.
When the akuma hits Alix’s skate, Alya is quick to run off, knowing she can’t talk someone out of an akuma, and barely makes it back to the others to warn them of Alix’s arrival before getting smacked in the back by Timebreaker’s hand.
Adrien of course is the quickest to get away, perhaps being able to duck someone else out with him, he’s not very good at the whole crowd control thing yet after all, especially as a civilian. Of course, the person he grabs is Nino, who’s NOT AT ALL likely to leave Adrien alone, and Adrien turns with a very serious expression on his face, though we the audience don’t hear what he says.
The fight goes on as normal, but when Chat gets timebroken protecting Ladybug (Less like a hug tho) and Ladybug continues to fight Timebreaker, you see, in the background, Nino approaching Chat Noir. Almost like he was instructed to do something should something bad happen to him.
By the time Ladybug is hijacking a ride on Timebreaker to go back in time, She feels a clawed hand grab onto her shoulder, and she glances over to see a dark skinned boy in Chat Noir’s outfit. But she’s not able to respond before they’re pulled back into the past. Adrien made Nino a Secret Keeper in that short time, Specifically after it was noted that Timebreaker could, in fact, kill with ease. If something happened to him, someone needed to be able to replace him. And Nino is his plan B.
After they go back to the past, Ladybug Asks Nino who he is. He smiles and shrugs, says ‘Chat Noir’s Secret Keeper,’ and after a beat she nods. She supposed if something happened to her Alya would make a good Ladybug in her place. She offers for them to save their kitty together, and he smiles and insits ‘of course Madame’
Once in the past, Nino!Chat and FutureBug meet with Past!Mari to tell her she needs to get to the bakery so that Nadja doesn’t call her parents, with Nino!Chat offering to take her so that she can enter through the store rather than from the street. FutureBug agrees, and joins Chat Noir on the ground after giving Marinette proof they aren’t akumas, whispering who their Secret Keeper is in her past self’s ear.
After a brief bit of fighting on their own, Chat Noir and FutureBug are joined by first the Ladybug of this point in time, and just after Chat Noir makes an offhanded and slightly lovey-dovey-er than usual comment about having two Ladybugs, another voice calls out how creepy that sounded in a jovial tone, and he turns to see a very different Chat Noir, and he gets a shock to his system, recalling the look of horror on FutureBug’s face when he made his comment about “which life.” He questions who this Alternate Noir is, whom winks at him and says “Your secret keeper, dude.” Adrien’s eyes widen in realization “Oh! Right! I guess that would be good enough reason to decide to make one.”
The fight goes slightly different now that it eventually becomes 4 against two rather than the three against two, even with Nino being inexperienced and quite the rookie on the battlefield, he copies Chat’s moves easily enough after watching him for a few moments. After all, there’s nothing like learning on the job. Besides, he doesn’t HAVE to be good, he just has to Cataclysm what either Ladybug tells him to. He’s not exactly the new Chat Noir, just Temp Noir.
When Miraculous Ladybug sweeps the block, Ladybug is fused into one, she holds her head for a moment and comments how the double memory’s gonna give her a headache. Temp Noir waves goodbye before being swept away, assumedly fused with past!Nino, and the double ring is fused with Adrien’s again.
When Ladybug approaches Alix, she’s sitting cross legged, staring at her watch. When Ladybug crouches and asks what happened, she explains that the chain was broken, and if her dad found out she was that reckless with a family heirloom he’d tan her hide (or some equal slang to insist she’s in deep trouble). Ladybug thinks for a second and waves Alya over. ‘Can you hold the string for my yoyo?’ she pulls a bit of the yoyo string out and severs it, looping the watch with the otherwise unbreakable string. She offers it to Alix and insists that going worst case scenario on everything will just lead to more strife. And that It’s okay to ask for help.
Rather than make his comment about Ladybug eventually falling in love with him, he sees Nino approaching, a hand pressed against the side of his head. “So, we need to talk, huh?” Chat nods and after a moment, unsure of his alternate timeline for just a moment before transforming in front of Nino. Plagg loudly complaining about split memory, and that this is why he can’t stand Hopps. “Who’s Hopps?” “Just a punk. Don’t worry about it.”
When we get back with Marinette in the bakery and she apologizes for keeping Nadja waiting, her mother waves it off, insisting that timed orders are to be on time and Nadja shouldn’t have put her on the spot like that. Tom suggests that maybe Marinette should start doing her homework down here when she’s watching the shop, so when she has to go to the bathroom she would use the employee one instead of the apartment one. There’s only one Marinette after all, she shouldn’t be overscheduling herself. (Hashtag Let Marinette’s parents be good parents)

Rewriting Timebreaker
Oh, wow. The entire class is ridiculous and I love them. Also: Nathaniel seemed more excited about the prospect of Kim being barred from making dares than he did about meeting Ladybug. Just saying.
. . . After skimming the episode I realized that I didn't have anything I wanted to change really. A Miraculous breaking is a plot hole but I don't really have a fix for it? The Idiot Ball the class is inflicted with allows for some character interactions you wouldn't get otherwise.
And unlike 80% of all the other times Chat Noir gets hit this one is actually significant to the plot.
Congratulations! @infinitysgrace You have won an indeterminate amount of ". . . And Then Chat Noir Kicked Their Ass!" rewrites!
(I will save my more serious rewrites for... special episodes.)
So I'm ignoring everything until the fight actually happens
Ladybug uses her yo-yo to pull Timebreaker off balance like in Canon
Rose gets duped
When Chat Noir taps Timebreaker on the shoulder with his extended baton to get her attention he bats her into the wall
Timebreaker still manages to get Mylene and Alya
Ladybug saves Ivan by wrapping her yo-yo around Timebreaker's wrist
But Timebreaker pulls Ladybug forward and doesn't hesitate to touch her
Chat Noir is furious at Ladybug being hit and places himself in front of her to keep Timebreaker away from her earrings
Timebreaker charges, Chat Noir flips her overhead and away from Ladybug's fading form
Annoyed, Timebreaker starts building up her time jump
Launching himself forward with his baton Chat Noir lands on her shoulders at the last second
Chat Noir leaps off once they're in the past, is confused for a second
He calls out a warning to the class when Timebreaker jumps down to them
Watch breaks again and now there's 2 Timebreakers that blame Chat Noir
Past Adrien and Future Chat give each other compliments after Plagg confirms it's him (self love, baby)
Ladybug makes a quip about how he's twice as annoying now
Past Chat shoots back something about being too much for her to handle
Future Chat just smiles and says he's glad she's safe
The 2 Timebreakers are outmatched by the three heroes so they try to go back farther
Unfortunately for them the 2 Chat Noirs are very good at keeping them busy while Ladybug figures out her Lucky Charm.
One of them destroys that big stone thing in the middle of the park
While the other uses his belt to tie the Timebreakers together. Throwing off their balance
They run into the ramp Ladybug set up
The other Chat Noir uses his Cataclysm on both skates
Purify akuma, blah blah blah, Miraculous Ladybug, blah blah blah, the end!
You know... I don't see the appeal of these. Rewatching the episode just reminded me that Oh, wait! I actually like this show!
"What about Copycat?"
Shut up, I do what I want!
Idk which one is next but I'll try to put more badass Chat Noir actually beating the akuma. Turns out I like this one too much to feel like changing it.

@dramatisperscnae gets a semi-plotted starter
One thing Steve never took the opportunity to do before the serum or even after he’d woken up seven decades after he thought he died, was take a vacation.  Or, travel anywhere that didn’t have to do with a mission.  When he was younger it was a matter of finances.  The soldier couldn’t afford the luxury of wandering around new sights and new sounds.  Although, to be fair, he loved Brooklyn to the point of not being interested in anywhere else.
But, being forced to travel had piqued Steve’s interest.  If nothing else it was new scenery to take in for his art.
He was sitting on a bench with a sketchbook in hand when a shriek caught his attention.  Without thinking about where he was, the soldier leapt up without any regard for the lack of protective gear on his body.  More noises - the sound of struggle - guide his way.  By the time he stumbles on the scene, however, it looks like there’s a kid running away.

I want to criticize your writing of Alya. The narrative spends a lot of Alya's allocated focus on her getting criticized. Like the panels on her weird concern over the tournament or her taking the blame on Alix's watch controversy. It's also Marinette not thinking to tell Alya about Maotif. It's Mari often looking exasperated by Alya. It's the pharaoh saying Alya is "good enough" for a sacrifice. It's a disproportionate amount of disparaging things on this minor character.
Well, in order:
1. Alya did prioritize taping the race over Alix’s watch in canon. And when Alix snapped at her asking what happened, she was quick to spread the blame to Marinette, Adrien, Chloe and Alix herself, and never apologized for not taking care of the watch even though Alix asked her specifically to watch over it. Which is why I went out of my way to have Alya redeem herself, look for a way to fix things, and apologize.
2. Marinette told Juleka she could tell Alya and she did. What, you wanted me to have Marinette tell Alya herself? Marinette isn’t exactly the bragging type and it’s not like it really matters if Alya finds out or not. She didn’t have to tell anyone anything. I’m not even sure what you’re criticizing me on here.
3. Exasperated? Like....what, like in The Pharaoh when Alya is more focused on filming than her own safety? Or recently in Timebreaker when she told Alya that Alix asked her to watch over her stuff? Cuz, you know Marinette was exasperated by that in canon right? Alya is an exuberant, energetic person and sometimes that means she does things without thinking, that would naturally exasperate you every now and then. And I can promise when Marinette has the bee and her spiraling becomes more frequent, Alya will be just as exasperated with her.
4. "Good enough” was a joke, oh my god. The Pharaoh carries Alya around like a sack of potatoes and drops her on her ass at least twice, you think he cares about her or her feelings? The point is he’s a jerk. He says things that a jerk would say.
I’m pretty offended by this because despite the fact that I have a lot of problems with Alya in canon, I go out of my way not to rip on her or Flanderize her and make her an unlikable shadow of her canon self.  Pointing out when she messes up isn’t disparaging her, especially when I have her make up for it. Lots of characters makes mistakes that go unrecognized which is why I’m making this rewrite. Just because I put a spot light on the characters that are actually messing up instead of glossing over them like canon doesn’t mean I’m attacking them.
There are plenty of characters I’m actually disparaging - Nadja, Jalil, Chloe - but Alya is not one of them.

Amon corrupts vulnerable ppl because he feels if they become his, then he can protect them
There is no secret identity rule, it is a choice
Season 1-2 is set in their 3rd Collège year 13-14
Season 3-4 is set in their 4th/Final year 14-15
Except for Juleka and Alix who were held back a Grade
(This makes Timebreaker make more sense)
Though they were held back at different times
Juleka repeated her 2ed year of Collège
Alix repeats her 3rd
(Alix is technically new alongside Alya, but used to be an upperclassmen)
Alix used to be in Luka's class, Juleka however did not
Because of creating Adrien and Felix, Emilie used up all of her stamina and fell ill
Adrien and Felix despite seeming like teens, have only been around for 6-7 years
Here is a snippet of Ivan's and Amon's deal,
-:Stoneheart:-
After spending time in the principles office, Kim would continue to tease and bully Ivan
This leaves him to be much more frustrated after school, which he leaves immediately to avoid him
After finding a sulking frustrated human, Amon decided to try to help
Though it gets confusing before he gets Ivan to clarify that 'like' refers to 'courting'
He offers Ivan that he can awaken his power to stand up for himself and help him confess
Though Ivan is a little skeptical, with a push of Anon asking,
"It's your choice, you can either continue to hold in your feelings and be tormented by your peers, or accept the power to stand up for yourself and finely court your lover. All I ask is that you let me help and stand by my side. So what do you say?"
- Amon
"...you've got a deal." - Ivan

I would like the team to realize that many people know their secretAlso that parents begin to realize (anarka probably already knows tbh). Although I imagine Andre and Roger being quite strange to Sabrina and Chloe. Roger realizes that something is happening, and does not know whether to feel proud or worried. Andre is the one who takes the longest to notice that something is wrong with Chloe because he has given her space after her last akumatization,
Okay so quick rundown of who I think knows/is sus in terms of family members.
Tom and Sabine: Have noticed that Mari has been acting strange since Ladybug appeared, but don't think it's because of Ladybug specifically. While she's a bit more of a disaster with her schedule, and does need more sleep damn it, she seems a lot more confident and outgoing lately so they're not worried.
Gabriel, Nathalie, and The Gorilla: being oblivious runs in the family, and Nathalie is not paid enough for this shit. The Gorilla notices Adrien disappears a lot, but assumes the kid is just sneaking off to hang out with his friends. He thinks this is valid as hell and will cover for Adrien as long as he has a general idea of his safety.
Marlena, Otis and Nora: Definitly notice that Alya is out with friends a lot. Pretty much any time she doesn't have to babysit. Kinda miss having her around but they're not gonna make a big deal with it. The closest they come to noticing is that Alya seems to avoid saying much about Rena Rouge, but don't know what to make of that.
Nino's parents(when will they get names and faces?): Like Mari's parents, thry noticed that he seems a lot more confident and outgoing lately. They're unsure what to make of that but it seems nice!
Andre and Audrey: Obvs the only thing Audrey has noticed is that Chloé is no longer doing everything she can to please her which pisses her off. Andre notices things are up with Chloé, but things are kind of.... Fucking hectic. He is happy to hear that she's having more friends over. And any strange things he just assumes is from the fact that she used to be Queen Bee and is helping the Heroes in other ways.
Alim and Jalil: I think he definitly believes something is up Magic-wise. I mean, before Timebreaker, he did have the Rabbit Miraculous on him, even if he didn't know what exactly it was. He absolutely tried studying it and honestly probably showed it to Ariel once to ask questions. So when a Hero who looks kinda like Alix and has a magic pocketwatch appears... On the other hand, Jalil can't see the forest for the trees when it comes to the Heroes and his theories.
Tomoe: As mentioned in the Lies rewrite, she's definitely noticed something is up and that Kagami is lying. Suspects it might be Hero-related, but because Kagami was Ryuko. Doesn't suspect she's still an active Hero, but thinks she migbt be doing undercover/intelligence gathering type stuff.
Anarka, Jagged and Penny: if Anarka doesn't already know, she'll catch on when Juleka joins the Team. Jagged and Penny know.
Kim's parents: Again, obliviousness runs in the family. That said, they do notice that he somehow manages to eat even more now, and he also seems to be talking to himself sometimes. (Obvs talking to his Kwami, but he never used to be the "talk to himself out loud" type).
Claudie: Hasn't actually noticed much is up with Max. However, she has possibly noticed Kaalki. Max is used to talking to his programs/devices, especially Markov. He doesn't thinj his mom will notice one more, even if Kaalki actually responds. Yeah he still keeps her hidden, he just doesn't bother keeping quiet when talking to her like the others would. But Claudie does notice that unlike the rest of Max's projects, she hasn't seen which one Kaalki is. She's not guessing Kaalki is a Magic Creature and not another program, but is wondering what's different.
Roger: Since Sabrina Hasn't been a Hero long, he hasn't noticed that behavior change. But he does notice her being more confident(though given how he is, it reads more as rebellion at first).

If you are still into MLB, do you have some original akumas? Or will you only rewrite existing akumas? Do you have a list of akumas? I really liked you Death Maker fic so I'm curious to know if there will be more akumas like this 🙂
Thank you for your ask!
I am glad you liked "Death Maker", but I must precise this akuma is quite special since I wrote it when I got salty after "Chameleon" (funny how it still gets notes today XD). I do not wish to make Miraculous Team "edgy" or as a salt AU, and while - as I precised in previous posts - some akumas will be shown as more dangerous than the original one, they won't all be necessary deadly. Some would because it fits their original akuma (Stone heart, Stormy Weather and Siren for example have probably made quite a share of victims even if it wasn't shown in the series), and also because it fits Le Fiancé and the organisation he works for. This guy is sick and really doesn't care if someone gets harm as long as he gets what he wants so yeah.
And by the way "Death Maker" is based on an original akuma I created^^, I just made akumatized!Marinette more feral because I was salty when writing it. The akuma will be called simply "Seamstress" though - unless I come up with a better idea or a pun.
As for the list of akumas, yes I have made a chronology actually! If you are interested, I'm putting it under read more. In bold, my own akumas, in italics, the ones I'm not sure to keep/might change when it happens.
(Edit: I had forgotten one of my own akumas at the beginning 😅)
That's it for now, I might change the order or add more original akumas in the future.

I’ve got a weird question, but how do you write filler episodes? You don’t need to answer I’m sorrey I’d just love advice on my fic 😅😅
Good question! No worries! I got you, uhm, wellll- I’ll write this as a read more thing cause I rambled a lot
I think the best way to write a filler episode is find away to make it not feel like one? It’ll feel tedious as hell to write something that doesn’t progress the multiple plot lines I know, but the filler is there to well, fill space, but due to that, it’s hard to figure out a way to spend that time without boring yourself while writing it or your audience.
There’s a few factors you’ve got to think about, mostly based on your strengths in writing. Like, are you better at writing action scenes, emotional scenes, tense scenes, world building, chaotic, convoluted, etc etc etc- the point is, know your strengths because then you can measure what you can write.
For me, I find my strengths in monologuey- emotional scenes- and also action scenes where people are just throwing punches and flying through buildings. Luckily that’s most of Panthera.
Fillers are challenges though because they just fill space, and usually don’t extend far beyond its own short plot. This results in Beach Episodes or or miniature cooking competitions, or whatever the fuck in anime. Which isn’t necessarily bad.
Give your characters a problem. See how they solve it. Stick them in an elevator and watch them lose their minds and relish in seeing them die of boredom.
Fillers are the exact space to do whatever you want with your characters, it’s like an appetizer you get to make. It’s small, it’s there, it keeps you from getting too hungry when waiting for the main course, and it’s hard to chose from.
For example, I consider Ripples of Time a filler episode in my Panthera series, it doesn’t deviate much from the original source material and while I did rewrite Timebreaker, Ripples of Time was a filler in its place. And what I did to fill it was, using my strengths long emotional scenes and action, I gave some flickers of action in the form of lost memories, and the long internal monologue of Juleka’s twisted and tired feelings of what had occurred.
Stuff that happens in fillers don’t need to last beyond it’s episode, hell, you can even make a comedic bit where you call out the characters on the fact that they’ve “learnt nothing” but it allows you as the writer and the readers to understand the characters more in ways that gives you a lot of leeway to stretch them without impacting the plot too hard.
In fact, a nice filler could be you going into the mind of some random character you hadn’t even thought of and give them their own mind and what they think fo everything! They don’t have to be important to the main plot at all but it gives them their perspective, or a funny take on their everyday life and how it’s affected by the heroes.
Fillers help give you more time to give your world more depth. So like, have fun, that’s my advice tbh. I’m not a professional writing this is just how I deal.

You should read my fic if you haven’t already! Why? Because I said so!
Update for those of you who are already caught up on Miracle Box: there will likely not be an update today since I’m feeling really down and probably won’t get on my computer to post it even if I can get myself out of bed. Buuuuut I have big plans for the future! So what’s next?
-Timebreaker, The Mime (unless I change my mind), Reflekta and Volpina will be happening.
-Two new superheroes will be introduced, but they’re not canon to the show. Mr. Lapin (wielder of the rabbit) will appear in Timebreaker and Aljara (wielder of the locust) is coming in either Timebreaker as well or the Mime.
-The next few akumas will be kept brief except for Volpina who will be the finale.
SPOILERS FOR THOSE CURIOUS:
-Someone will be losing their miraculous
-Tikki will make a very important discovery that will alter the plot dramatically
-Dusuu lore??!??!
Anyways, if y’all want more fun stuff from me then go ahead and ask! I was sort of wanting to do some character profiles so I can infodump about their traits, personalities and relationships ya know, so if you want that then uhhhhhhh good lmao that’s what you’re getting.
What’s coming up after this fic book is done?:
-There will be two more following the 2nd and 3rd season but mixing elements of season 4 and 5 in there for lore purposes.
-Directly after this book will be a short story to cover the trip to New York Marinette’s class does and that’ll have a lot of fluff stuff in it to get the romance shit going.
-I might also cover the Christmas Special at the end of this year 2023
-The Shang Hai special will also be a short story but only after book 2 is done.
If you’re looking forward to it, let me know! I love hearing your feedback and reading your comments! Please remember to Reblog this so we can get more people reading it and all that jazz.
Share the trauma.

Mod Vega’s general idea for Nino as Temp Noir. I get the idea that since his own first encounter with a Kwami was in a rush he wouldn’t have an overly advanced idea on what he’d like to look like, and kinda just came out a tuxedo cat.

I’m doing research for a fic I’m writing. And something just hit me about Timebreaker.
Notre Dame, which is canonically right across the Seine from Marinette’s house, is three miles (4.83km) away from the Eiffel Tower.
There is no way in hell that Marinette Dupain Cheng could make it to the Eiffel Tower from Notre Dame, watch the race between Alix and Kim, and get back to the bakery in the half an hour she’s given until Nadia Chamack comes to pick up the cake. I’m going to show my work in miles because I am American, and Imperial is what I know best. (Despite working in metric all the time...)
The average speed of a human who’s running is 12.5mph (20.12k/h). Assuming that Marinette is flying and running through Paris on her yoyo at 12.5mph, and the distance is three miles, we can find the time.
speed*time=distance
Therefore, we can rewrite it time=distance/speed.
t=3/12.5=0.24 hours.
0.24 hours * 60 minutes = 14.4 minutes
Marinette would take 15 minutes to get home, and I really don’t think Tom stayed on the phone with Nadia that long.
TL;DR, I’m frustrated that the show puts the Eiffel Tower right next to Notre Dame when they really aren’t. It’s annoying.

I should
probably try an episode rewrite for the Blackbird AU myself.
Lessee, @kuipernebula already did Stormy Weather, we were going to move Bubbler to near the end because it ties in with the school musical, so logically I’d have to re-do.... *checks episode guide* either Copycat (which gets denied) or Timebreaker.
.......fuck.
