The Metal Slug picture is definitely my favourite! It has everything I want to show off from bright colours to chaos, and even has scanlinese too which make almost any picture 10x better!

I have to give a special shoutout to some of my ArtFight pieces though! I really was able to practice the style I want to use for my game more and some other styles too!

My art has kind of gone in stages:

Learned how to draw

Learned how to scan drawings in to colour

Learned how to use a drawing tablet

Joined fandoms to draw more

And now I'm at a stage where I just want to create me own things and draw & write for them all the time. It's been a fun journey, despite the.... many, many, many, many, MANY detours, issues and general torment of wanting to create things.

Sorry I forgot Hanneman suggested Byleth undress after they show up with a different hair color. And I miss Hanneman. And also while swapping between Houses and Hopes and seeing Hanneman pop up to help in a Hopes paralogue is just devastating since he doesn't ever actually join you at all and I am denied my old man rights.

After the war, Marcus insisted that Percy move into a relatively big house with him, Oliver, Audrey, and Penny. When I say big house, I usually imagine between orphange and Burrow (tbh the Burrow itself is kind of big) but a few extra rooms big. Due to Percy being a parental and/or sibling figure to a lot of people, it usually isn't just the five of them even if you ignore the existence of Percy's canon kids. Most of the time, other people are over, it's his neices and nephews due to him having favourite uncle status. However they have been times where it's been kids in Harry's or Ginny's year that looked up to Percy that have dropped by or one of his siblings' spouses have dropped by after an argument with his siblings.

Artwork completed for @ferarepairweek. This was for Day 1, and I went with "Celebration".

For some reason I had it in my head that the garland-weaving was part of festivities for Garland Moon, but apparently the quote from above is actually for Harpstring Moon, and there wasn't an entire celebration associated with it but eh, a celebration is a celebration (also ignore the fact that I did not draw garlands in favor of flower crowns and necklaces). Anywho, this is actually my favorite pairing for Byleth (F!Byleth specifically, but I won't get into my headcaons about the two Byleths), which figures given that the Gatekeeper isn't one of the S-rank options...and doesn't even have any supports in Three Hopes, haha.

I've been experimenting with a new process of sketching, coloring, and shading, and trying to complete all the artworks for this fandom event really helped me test it out. I have to say, cell-shading is so much easier on my wrists (I had a minor wrist injury earlier this year, making art very difficult for a few months). I'll probably be doing a lot of cell-shading from here on out.

I just now saw you listed Bernadetta as one of your favorites for pairing with Dimitri and my curiosity has been piqued o: can't say they've crossed my mind before!

This is not new art and more exists by me but I'm not going to make a super long post and I am too tired to fetch links sooooo! Yes! Them! I really enjoy the idea that even as "feral Dimitri" he's like. A great hiding spot bc no one bothers him. And as long as she doesn't say anything about his mental state or how he needs to think rationally he's just ... fine with her using him to hide. But when he's back on his feet she's really grateful that he isn't /as/ scary even if that means a hiding spot is gone.

Note: even when he's in the Feral Mode, an NPC says that he couldn't believe his eyes when Dimitri was giving head pats to kids. Sooooo even if he's snappy with people he's seen having a soft spot for others. So I see no reason he would /have/ to be harsh to her when she's so obviously scared and needing a place to hide. But that's just me!

Besides thanks to Azure Gleam in Thropes, they actually have a little support chain! I personally found it refreshing in regards to Dimitri supports!

au where tyrion is the first born so joanna lives for a while. it’s a really interesting exploration of who joanna might have been, as well as what her impact could have been on tyrion.

you're my king and i'm your lionheart by plantagenet

jeyne & robb’s relationship from jeyne’s pov. it’s a great take on jeyne bc it gives her a spine without leaning too hard into the “quirky nurse” route that the show took. heartbreaking of course.

bunch of short drabbles on "what if" situations where various women wind up mothering jon snow - lyanna, cat, elia, ashara. they're interesting character studies & tbh “what if jon snow was raised slightly differently” aus are my weakness

the series but throbb are fucking. mostly show canon bc of the ages. made me want to kms but in a good way.

The Black Widow by Its_Rhaenin_Time

ongoing. kind of a tragicomic take on the dance, an au where alicent convinces the small council to put aegon aside as heir, wed aemond to rhaenyra, and install aemond as king as a way of protecting rhaenyra from being killed. it’s excellent and hilarious. technically more pro blacks, but it's not really anti anyone on team green except criston and the lannisters (the rhaenyra/aegon dynamic is sublime). focuses a lot on gender, sex, and cultural dynamics. currently my favorite fic actually, i'm obsessed with it.

The fire of our blood by katbux

ongoing. au where aegon ii reincarnates just as he’s crowned to try to redo the dance. surprised me by going the aegon/aemond/helaena route romance wise (which is the best route), and i like all the politicking in it. less “pro green” than it is “pro aegon, helaena, aemond, and daeron getting extensive therapy” & it’s kind of a mix between show & book canon. really delves into the "can they actually avoid the dance" question.

Breakbones and the Dragonrider by beneathawesternsky

romantic fic that started as an exploration of the rhaenyra/harwin relationship and morphed into an au where they wind up married. very cute, very romantic, love the supporting characters in it, and the way house strong is characterized as a northern house pre-harrenhal and all the “aegon’s vision” stuff in it.

my new house is so funny because it's my first time having a house that's all mine but it's also. so small. it's barely bigger than the semi-illegal apartment i lived in in Ireland which was just an extension off the back of someone's house. like it IS bigger, it has a bath and the upstairs is the full size of downstairs, not a mezzanine, but it's still functionally one room upstairs and downstairs with the bathroom and kitchen as a corner off those two rooms (the bathroom has a door, the kitchen doesn't). baby house! tiny baby house!

#it also. does not have a lot of like.... hidden storage #so anything that's there. you can see. which isn't the best #BUT it does have five (5) windowsills suitable for plants #probably i will only put plants on two or maybe three of them #i don't think i can dig the garden but i think it will be okay to put pots thereM #so I'm going to buy some more pots and plant bulbs in them for the spring #i like to have flowers #it reassures me that i won't be moving house in three months #i moved too much and it gave me trauma so now i gotta do this kind of thing #i think it would help my house trauma if i had a housewarming party too #but genuinely it is So Small that i am not sure if that's viable #personal
