We all know that Aziraphale is in massive trouble in heaven- but how much?
The Metatron is obviously setting him up for failure- trying to separate him from Crowley because the two of them are pretty powerful when together. Plus we know two main things a) Gabriel lost his position (Aziraphale’s new position) by trying to stop Armageddon 2.0 and b) Aziraphale is going to try to stop Armageddon 2.0. Aziraphale doesn’t know that that’s why Gabriel was cast out. The Metatron almost definitely knows that Aziraphale will do anything in his power to stop Armageddon and so, if and when Aziraphale tries to stop the end of the world, the Metatron will try to do what he tried the Gabriel. That is wipe his memory- take any memory of Crowley away from him thus separating them forever.
Anyway this has probably been suggested before and I just haven’t seen it so sorry and sorry for blabbering haha.

i love that crowley was about to pass out when he had to shot at aziraphale. i love that aziraphale couldn't come up with anything more threatening than "i'll never talk to you again". they're both idiots and down bad for each other and if yall think they'd fight each other yall r just dumb. if they'll ever go up against each other it's gonna end w both of them (but mainly crowley) shaking and crying and throwing up on the floor. trust me on that.

imagine telling a conservative christian person in the good omens universe that not only are there gender non-conforming/non-binary angels in heaven, but there are two couples that are made up of a angel and demon, and for one of those two an archangel gave up his status as an archangel to be with the (ex) prince of hell.

My two cents on Aziraphale's "I forgive you" is that he was straightforwardly lashing out. He knows how little Crowley wants to be forgiven. He knows because Crowley just told him. Crowley rejects forgiveness so absolutely that he rejects Aziraphale right along with it. It's the whole fight in a microcosm: Aziraphale standing there offering forgiveness and Crowley saying, I don't want it.
So maybe the words are Aziraphale showing he finally understands Crowley. He knows now that "I forgive you" is the very worst thing he could say to Crowley. That's why he says it. That's how he means it.

Okay kind of a shit post but like Aziraphale telling Hamlet to “buck up” when he’s contemplating suicide is under appreciated comedic genius. I will hear no arguments.

mon horrible cher (chapter 5)
friendly adult friends: in which aziraphale experiences a series of "oh" moments in rapid succession.
Crowley was browsing for himself, and not just idly running a finger across dusty spines or stacking up a collection of bargain textbooks. He was actually looking, searching, pulling books out and flipping carefully through the open pages. Every now and then his head would bow and he would shift his weight from one leg to another, settling in to examine a page in earnest.
Crowley was nestled between the sunbeams and shadows of a dusty closet masquerading as a book store and reading, just for the hell of it, and Aziraphale’s breath was totally stolen from him again.
(Enemies to Friends to Lovers / Human AU, where Aziraphale and Crowley are enemy secondary teachers leading a school trip to Paris)

The effect they have on each other, no wonder Crowley and Aziraphale are a joy to watch.
