At this point MS and DT could post a picture of themselves in the same bed with tongues down eachothers throat or a full on XXX video, and people would be like " OMG besties are having a platonic sleepover 🙂 Friendship goals!" and "Me and my best friend totally do the same thing!"

Live your best lives boys! Not a thing you two say or do short of coming out explicitly (and maybe not even then) will make these people think you're anything more than hetero best friends.

Well, not to bring down the mood but prev anon made me look up Michael Redgrave and these ramshackles are not exactly hot news in showbiz but I strongly encourage you to read his personal life part. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Michael_Redgrave

This particular segment had my jaw on the floor.

During the filming of Fritz Lang's Secret Beyond the Door (1948), Redgrave met Bob Michell, and they soon became lovers. Michell set up house close to the Redgraves, and he became a surrogate "uncle" to Redgrave's children (then aged 11, 9 and 5), who adored him. Michell later had children of his own, including a son he named Michael.

Falling for eachother on set, Neighbours, GT calling MS "Uncle Michael" under a pic of him playing with one of DT's kids ...

Fuck, I really, really want them to keep fighting and crossing my fingers for them to win it completely( they showed us what they're capable of) I hate to see history repeat itself and for their story to turn into another tragic Wikipedia article.

It’s tragic how many of these stories repeated themselves over the years and how it’s still going on. And people ask why - well, just look at this fandom! This fandom which supposed to be the open minded fandom shoves these two in a closet like nobody else.

MS/DT Lost control and we had triumphant ladies at the Oliviers… but the men made a point with their disappearance and then re appeared together and everything was about them once again. We had nothing from GT/AL about the ladies, just about the men. Men have it in their grasp again, I don’t think they will let go.

Really curious what will happen next!

God I really can't with people on X 😭 No No let it be, shit is too funny tbf🤣🤣 what got me wheezing is the fact that "good fans" feel the urgent NEED to include " besties, work husbands, friendship goals" on the pic they're posting like somehow it makes it less gay😭😂 bro we know and we know that you know too, who are you putting up the show for? come off it pleasesss🤭 THE gayest thing you can do is to wear a " totally not homo" shirt with your bestie and walk down the street😂 istg, if I had 0 idea of who those dudes are and just bumped into one of their usual pics with those captions, I'd confidently bet my life on " 💯 homo"

It’s hilarious how it always works with them, isn’t it? Ladies will post a PR pic where the man looks like he is having a mental breakdown and they scream how much love and devotion they see and oh my god mom and dad and omg couple goals and omg this and that.

DT/MS appear being genuinely fucking sweet - oh haha. WORK husbands. They love each other PLATONICALLY. Such FRIENDSHIP. Besties! It’s like a disclaimer at this point that just means “please don’t hate me”. I have never witnessed a fandom who’d have the celebs tell them they’re in love, love each other, compliment each other constantly, call each other partner, boyfriend, husband… never said anything about being just friends etc etc… and the fandom would hetero-wash them. Fucking incredible.

At this stage things are so obvious that people choosing to not see them and instead lash out and shove them in a closet… they really should ask themselves why they’re doing it.

Oh boy! so glad to be standing on the right side of history with 2 fucking clever and resilient fighters leading us. Tbh, it's so refreshing to witness them fight for each other as well as refusing to be the next Michael Redgrave or Carry Grant ( there is a heartwrenching long list of closeted actors who were allowed to come out only after they passed away.)

Must be an exasperating and unrewarding labour to be a hater these days innit? Imagine being a fan and still having to copy cheap PR moves and create fictional scenarios with " trust me bro" evidence to keep the * happy hetero couple" schtick alive, in the meantime The boys work their bums off to prove you wrong every time and you still have to keep smiling big. Can't lose the mutuals, " friends" will leave if you have a different opinion :)))

I have never witnessed two celebs fight like this against PR. I was so damn impressed yesterday. So to see their own fandom fight to keep them in the closet is actually insane at this point.

The Oliviers, then the silence from both, and then return of both at NT was the most beautiful blatant thing they could have done. So what’s the reaction? The fandom screaming at us again and shoving them in the closet even more. Damn it’s like they’re getting really insecure, huh…

Must suck when we keep on being right. Hate always increases at days like this one haha.
