PLEASE for the love of the universe read anti-colonial science fiction and fantasy written from marginalized perspectives. Y’all (you know who you are) are killing me. To see people praise books about empire written exclusively by white women and then turn around and say you don’t know who Octavia Butler is or that you haven’t read any NK Jemisin just kills me! I’m not saying you HAVE to enjoy specific books but there is such an obvious pattern here
Some of y’all love marginalized stories but you don’t give a fuck about marginalized creators and characters, and it shows. Like damn

do swifties realise criticising taylor swift isn't always “misogyny” and there are valid reasons to not like her?

Without a doubt the worst part of Taylor being at this level of popularity/fame again is all the people who want to be different and edgy and are claiming she's just an objectively evil man-hating eco-terrorist attention whore all while proudly proclaiming they also know nothing about her bc they don't like her

so i'm not in the atla fandom but i sometimes go on this tag called "katara deserved better"
and tell me why 90% of posts in this tag are about which man katara should've ended up with than about her actual character?
like do you guys care about katara or are you just upset your ship didn't become canon?

I feel like the same people who are saying Sam is being cheated out of his title as Cap in 2022 are the same people who complained that Bucky should’ve been Cap in 2019…

Some of the reactions to doctor who are genuinely baffling to me. I saw one comment from someone who said they'd been watching since 1987 and this new series had totally put them off like. Sorry these episodes didn't match the shakespearean heights of *checks notes* Delta and the Bannermen

sorry you can't criticize saltburn if your main criticism is "the poor character is evil!!!!1!!!" because he's literally not poor. that's kind of a massive plot point.

every day we inch closer to the inevitable release of taylor's "all the haters are throwing shade at my relationship but I don't care" music about matty and for that reason I live in fear

This blog is not TERF safe.
I have no respect for people who think trans people are inherent predators, just now started existing in the 21st century, should inherently be denied healthcare or not involved in sports, or that being trans is like "blackface" or "appropriation".
Being a man or a woman is not a race or culture because literally every human culture has their own unique gender norms and expectations and even an idea of something beyond that binary- where do you think the term "hermaphrodite" comes from? The Greeks knew what intersex people were. It's why, if I suddenly started wearing a hijab and declaring I "now know what it's like to be Muslim" I'd be called racist. That would be racist because even though I am a woman, I am not Muslim and I don't know what it's actually like to live with those dressing norms/ideologies.
I am a feminist and that applies to all women. Heck, that applies to all people. Feminism IS for everyone, hon.
Even if you're only a boy, you can fight like a girl.
