yeah yeah the overpowered dragon is my favorite unit what a shock. but also she's very sweet and kinda tragic and i think her story is endearing~

Favorite Character: Lute

Obviously. Cause she's perfect in every way. Everyone else needs to get on her level. She's just a bit slow in battle though :/ (maybe for me lol)

Favorite Units

Garcia as a Warrior is just super fun, so much attack, he pretty much kills everyone in one hit. And with access to bows he just has so much more utility. That's why he kept dying on the front lines :D Artur was just surprisingly useful n fun, moderately fast and strong so he would double and kill, helpful with clutch healing, took hits decently and could avoid too, just a well rounded boy

Least Favorite Character (as a unit and character): Rennac

He's a dick and I hate him Had to play that chapter over again cause i couldn't hire him with Eirika's funds, and when I did recruit him with L'Arachel I used him like once? and i didn't even like him to begin with. what a waste of time

Least Favorite Unit: Knoll

At least Rennac can hit enemies and not die

Least Favorite Enemy: Reiv

“SIIIIIIIISSSSS!!!” The moment Ewan even saw her, he couldn’t resist flinging himself onto her for a hug. He knew she was strong and that he was light, so this wouldn’t be a problem, right?

While he knew she was coming, the fact she was actually here now made it feel like the sun just started shining even brighter. Life was good, and today it got just that little bit better.

“I’m so excited you’re here! I made so many friends and learned so many things I can’t wait to show you! And now you’re here too so you can count on me to keep you safe too okay?” He told her with a cheerful tone, still not letting go of her. Part of the reason he started school here was to become smarter and stronger. The stronger he was, the better equipped he was to protect his big sister, and hopefully give back a little bit of all the kindness she gave him.

Finally deciding to let go of her, he instead decided to grab her hand so he could give her a tour. “Here I’ll give you the grand tour of the place, how about that? It’s a pretty big place you can get lost pretty easily, even directions you try to give can end up wrong! ..not that I’ve done that of course, haha.” He was excited for sure, but one realization also struck him. There were now consequences for mischief….!

all she can do now is enjoy these moments while they still last.

"how thoughtful! i'd like that very much. thank you." tethys sneaks a quick peck on his forehead before ewan releases her. "hey now, remember what we say in dance," she chastises light-heartedly as he grabs her hand. "lead, don't pull!"

Seeing Tethys in the M!Barney FB hurts, because M!Barney is apparently the non AG Barney, so he's either cutting randoms bcs Supreme Leader pays him, or because she told him they have pointy ears and Clout bought it.

Tethys is from the merc company whose moment of awesome (tm) was telling Innes to suck it up, and how they're going to protect him even if he orders them to run away.

The good FE mercenaries (Greil, Gerik) have never been mercenaries attracted to gold, they are no Beowolf (apparently Eldie's BFF who just happens to be there to hold the hand of the current princess who caught his eye).

Shinon iirc, in the GM, complains about them being broke, but everyone knows Greil accepts a mission only if he agrees with it. The Greil Mercenaries and the Gerik Mercenaries aren't going to sack a monastery because they're paid for it, and no amount of money could make them target fleeing refugees.

Barney? In Supreme Bullshit or in Golden Shower is all in, as long as his employer pays.

Daily Devotions with the Orphic Hymns

Today is 4th of Metageitnion (21st of August)

This modern system of daily devotions blends material from two sources: Hesiod's sacred month, as described in his Works and Days, and the Orphic Hymns. The ideas in the Orphic Hymns sometimes don't match with more mainstream beliefs of the polis. But using these hymns is worth it because it helps us honor not just the main gods, but also many smaller ones. This way, we can pay our respects to a wide range of gods throughout the whole month.

Other hymns may of course be substituted at the individual's discretion. The numbers given for the hymns correspond to those in Apostolos N. Athanassakis, The Orphic Hymns: Text, Translation and Notes

A shortened version of the devotions may be done by simply lighting a candle, reading "Orpheus to Mousaios," saying any personal prayers, and extinguishing the candle.

Notes on chart:

Days mentioned by Hesiod as sacred to specific deities are marked.

Horkos is the god (or, if you like, personification) of Oath. Days sacred to this deity are considered difficult.

As the lunar calendar months range between 29 and 30 days in the Greek reckoning, it may be necessary in short months to recite all the hymns for both day 29 and day 30 on the day of the dark moon. As the last day of the month is sacred to Hekate, Her hymn should always be included.

About Incense

The Orphic Hymns specify particular types of incense to be offered to each deity. In cases where one is saying multiple hymns with differing instructions, one might either choose a single type or make a blend of all those indicated. Pure frankincense makes a good all-purpose offertory incense.

The incense specifications from the Orphic text are as follows:

Frankincense: Apollon, Ares, Artemis, Asklepios, Bakkhai, Dike, Eos, Hephaistos, Herakles, Hermes, Hygeia, Kouretes, Muses, Nike, Satyros, Silenos, Tethys, Themis, Titans

Myrrh: Leto, Nereus, Poseidon

Storax: Chthonic Hermes, Dionysos, Eleusinian Demeter, Erinues (also frankincense), Graces, Kronos, Semele, Zeus

Aromatic Herbs: Adonis, Athena, Eros, Eumenides, Fates, Hera, Hestia, Horai, Nereids, Nymphs, Okeanos, Rhea

Various: Mother of the Gods, Pan, Chthonic Dionysos (any except frankincense), Gaia (any grain; no beans or aromatic herbs)

No Incense (underworld deities): Hekate, Nemesis, Persephon
